Fun energy!

Carlton was seriously a blessing to our wedding. We had a DJ back out on us about a week or two before our wedding and honestly, we’re so thankful they did because we couldn’t imagine a better DJ than Carlton. He asked us questions about our wedding that the other DJ never did. He covered all the bases that we never even thought about for our wedding. He worked with us so quickly to get everything ready for our big day in just a short time. Our first dance song was released just the day before our wedding and he was able to get that no problem. Carlton was such a kind and fun soul, he made sure everything was upbeat and kept the party going for everyone. He kept people laughing and all and all it was just such a great time. Book him, you won’t regret it!!

Amazing Vendor!

We had been working with Dreamscope for over a year. We had to move our wedding date around multiple times and they were so flexible! Always willing to go above and beyond! We had DJ Carlton and he was amazing. We met with him prior to our wedding to go over everything and he was so organized! While he was very professional, he was also very fun! He even got out there and danced with us! We would highly recommend using this company for any event you have!

Jack was fantastic!

We are very glad we hired Jack as our wedding DJ. From the first email to the day of the wedding, he was friendly and responsive. He provided music and sound for our ceremony and reception and everything was absolutely perfect. He had an awesome song selection, including as many of our requests as he could. He had a great read on us and the room the whole time. We only had one special request for him and that was a two song mash-up for my Father/Bride dance. He sent it to me ahead of time and I had input on any changes until we were 100% happy with it. Everyone keeps telling us how much fun they had and we are giving so much credit to Jack for being a wonderful MC and keeping the party going. We are so beyond happy with his role in our wedding day and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Excellent services offered! Definitely cared for our wants and needs.

Dreamscope did a great job DJing our wedding and making the entertainment parts of our day exactly what we wanted. Jack played exactly the music we were looking for, gave us great ideas when we were at a loss for them, and kept the day moving and organized well with our caterer to make things smooth. We took advantage of the photobooth which was a huge hit and always fun, and he had everything set up and torn down with out us even having to think about it. Definitely relieved a stress item from us and made everything fun!

Seamless DJ experience

Jack was an amazing DJ for our wedding reception. Very helpful and communicative. He had a wide selection of music to fit our unique needs. Dreamscope has a very intuitive dashboard setup to help you keep organized and on track. I think we would have been lost without it. Jack is very familiar with the Running Hare Vineyard venue, and if you are seeking a DJ for there, look no further.

Highly recommend

Jack is awesome! Our wedding day was perfect. Jack made sure we had microphones when needed, played all our requested music and the up lighting brought the whole room together. Our guests loved that he played the music softer during cocktail hour and everyone was able to mingle and enjoy and then he turned it up for dancing after dinner. Jack responded to all my emails promptly and even had a nice website where I could fill out all my wedding info, wants and needs and then we were able to meet in person before the big day and go over all our requests to make sure we were on the same page.

Dreamscope - a must book for your wedding!

From the beginning of our wedding ceremony to the end of the reception, Dreamscope provided a phenomenal service. The sound during the ceremony was perfectly caught, and Jack Reynolds was very flexible with our timeline. The best part of the service was the ceremony; we held our wedding in a tent outside, and the tent sounded and looked like the inside of a club! The lights that shined on the dance floor and the music was at a perfect level. Jack played every must play song that we requested, and he played them at perfect times for the moments to be captured by our photographer. I’m certain you can’t have a better service than Dreamscope at your event.

& don’t forget to get the photo booth, which was a huge hit the entire night!

Amazing quality

Jack and his crew were awesome. We had a few special requests and he went above and beyond to make our special day even better. He was an amazing DJ and kept all of the guests entertained with not only just music choices but also his commentary. I would highly recommend Dreamscape to anyone!

Amazing DJ! Perfect Wedding!

Jack is amazing! We were open to a lot of suggestions as I was pretty burned out on making decisions. Jack had great ideas to fill in time gaps during the reception and perfect suggestions for song choices for different parts of the ceremony and reception. My guests continue to tell me how awesome the DJ was and what a great time they had!

Great Experience

Jack and his team were awesome to work with! There were a couple of venue issues and Jack stepped right up and took care of everything. I received many positive comments from guests. Jack and his team were very entertaining. I will certainly utilize his services again.

Such a Pleasure to Work With

Jack was so great to work with. I loved how attentive he was to what we were looking for. And I loved that his company developed an online website during our planning process that allowed me to go in and assign the exact songs we wanted. That made the whole process so much easier. He even stuck with me when I had to change the wedding order five million times. At the wedding, everything went seamlessly and we were so happy with everything. You need this dj! Perfection!

Our wedding went absolutely perfect thanks to these guys!! They were so organized from start to finish and entertained our guests for hours!!! We were so absolutely thrilled and they went beyond our expectations! I would HIGHLY recommend using them as your DJ for any major event they know exactly how to keep the party flowing! I wish I could give more stars! The personalized service that we received from Jack was wonderful. I wasn't a nervous bride until the last few weeks, having a call with Jack to discuss timelines, music, and everything else put me at ease. I loved being able to personalize the music list down to play and no play. When I asked if he could find my parent's wedding song to play for their 50th Anniversary, he found it. I will say that after all the awesome music and personal attention, the photo booth was the hit of the night! Every age loved it and there is no end to the entertainment it provided! Thank you Jack & Susannah from the bottom of our hearts, it will definitely be remembered for a long time.

Jack was absolutely amazing! He knew exactly what to play based on the generations/type of music we liked/wanted played. He helped with the entrance coordination - which was amazing. He kept everyone dancing and even jumped in himself! We couldn’t of asked for a better dj for our wedding :) everything was perfect!

Jack went above and beyond for me and my now bride! Showed up early, made sure everything was running smooth and had the ball rolling perfectly. Our wedding would have never gone as smooth without him. The value you get with him is incredible, and the personality he puts into it tops the charts. My husband and I used Dreamscope for our wedding in July. And all I can say is I wouldn’t have changed a thing! When we first got in contact with Jack, the owner of Dreamscope, I was a nervous wreck. I didn’t know anything about picking a DJ. He offered to meet with us so we could get to know him and feel more comfortable about the whole process. He contacted us multiple times if we ever needed anything. He was very organized and was very understanding and respectful about the type of music we wanted played at our wedding. There was a PERFECT mixture of music for the younger crowd and the older crowd. I couldn’t have been happier with the quality of service we received from Dreamscope. I highly recommend them!

We used Dreamscope Entertainment at our wedding and all I can say is WOW! They were a pleasure to work with from the time we originally contacted them until the last dance! Jack from Dreamscope helped us so much through our planning process by making suggestions and helping with our timeline. He must have met with us at least 5 times and answered 50 emails along the way, each time being patient and kind. He really made a very scary process (so we thought) seem very easy very step of the way!
As far as performance, again... WOW! The music that was played was top notch. We had guests that ranged in age from 16 to 85 and there was something for everyone! The ceremony music and timing were perfect and the sound could not have been more clear. The reception went as smoothly as could be and Jack kept people smiling with his personality and people were on the dance floor all night!
We also used their photo booth. The lady that ran it was fun and helpful and they had lots of fun props for people to use. The great thing was we got copies of every picture that was taken both prints and digitally.
I cannot be happier with the choice that we made. People are still talking about our awesome DJ a month after my wedding! BRAVO!

Beyond words for how much I love my Dj! Jack went above and beyond and was personable, creative, classy, but also knows how to put on the best entertainment!!!! He put together a mix of songs for me as a surprise for my first dance for my groom. He was so surprised and had the crowd jumping!! My wedding was held at The Running Hare Vineyard. The lights were so beautiful!! Jack had a light showing on the floor that spun “B” which personalized it and made it elegant. The pictures came out great with the beautiful lighting. We spoke often about the music I wanted and he helped me out a lot on the song choices I wasn’t sure about and made my wedding the talk of the century! Everyone said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! It wouldn’t have been the same with out him! Thank you for the photo booth! My guests loved it! All the props and the backdrop really made their pictures perfect! If I had to do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing! Everything was beautiful and perfect! Carlton was our dj and was amazing!! Everyone told us how awesome he was after the wedding and how much they enjoyed the music! Jack DJed my August 2017 wedding, and I was impressed by his services! Jack was very easy to work with! When my mind was too fickle to settle on a song, Jack was able to supply me with several good options. He even went above and beyond as to help make suggestions to the timeline of the reception to help make a better flow of the evening. I couldn’t recommend Jack anymore! He is simply the best, and I feel that he is worth every penny. He made sure that each and every guest had a wonderful night.

Jack was awesome for our wedding! He seriously put all my worries at ease and made our reception a breeze. I didn’t have to worry about what to do next because he would lead us. The music was great and got everyone up and dancing at least one point in the evening. Then the last song of the night he asked everyone to join together on the dance floor!! It was great! Dreamscope Entertainment, Jack's company, were absolutely awesome. Jack is a pleasure to work with. He is a top notch professional and he really knows his trade. He can work with just about any genre of music, and he can put on a great show. For example, we wanted a wide variety of music at our wedding: from contemporary hits to some American wedding classics to some truly unique requests (my wife comes from a Romania background so we had some Romania music at the wedding). Jack delivered and everyone had a great time. Jack is an outstanding DJ, and I would trust that every member of his team will go above and beyond in their efforts to help deliver a great experience for everyone involved with an event. I think what we really liked about working with Jack the best is that It is obvious that Jack is a great person. He is genuine and kind. We loved working with him and would hire him and his company again in a heartbeat.

Best DJ ever! Everything was great! The final meeting 2 weeks before our wedding I showed up with my planner blank! I completely forgot to fill in everything but Jack was totally cool about and he walked me thru everything! I didn't have a wedding planner so that extra help coming up with the wedding day timeline was amazing! Great price too!

We hired Jack of Dreamscope Entertainment to provide the music for both our ceremony and reception. In short, he was fantastic.

We chose only our processional and recessional music, our first dance, the father-daughter dance, and the last song of the night—the rest we left up to Jack, and we’re so glad we did. As soon as dinner wrapped up the dance floor was full for the rest of the night, and our guests were constantly coming up to us complimenting the music.

Jack also had a great attitude and energy that livened the party—after our first dance was a bit awkward, he lightened the mood, and he also hopped onto the dance floor with us during the Wobble.

Finally, he was super reliable and easy to communicate with—always quick to respond to emails, and he arrived at the ceremony an hour or two before it was scheduled to begin to make sure everything was set up and in working order so that music could be playing even as the guests began to arrive. We would absolutely recommend him for any Southern Maryland wedding.

Jack was the perfect DJ! He was fun, accommodating, and he kept the party going all night long! He thought of so many things I didn't even think about to help the reception run smoothly. My husband's best man is stationed in Japan and Jack helped us stream a live facetime video at our reception so he could give his toast! The absolute best wedding DJ around!! He was very attentive to our needs and helped us plan a ceremony that would keep people dancing!! Mom even approved of his sound setup and said she felt like she could hold conversations, even though the music was loud. We got married on September 16th, 2016. Jack was great as a DJ. He communicated well with us leading up to the event and he communicated with the venue as well because he had never been there. The sound for the ceremony was great, the uplighting was great, everything was great. We gave Jack a LOOOOONG list of songs we wanted for our wedding. He was extremely accommodating. He kept the pace of the night going really smoothly. We were pleased with the price and his abilities.

If you're looking for the best DJ possible, go with Jack!

My husband and I saw him at my sister's wedding and we knew he was a must have! From the very beginning, Jack was always there. He always responded quickly to any questions that we had. The day of the wedding, there was a storm that set us behind schedule, However, he kept everything ruining smoothly and made sure to get all the important pieces done before the photographers left!

Jack is full of entertainment and has no problem getting the party started! He is very active and knows how to engage with the crowd! He even came out to the dance floor to show us the moves to some of the songs!

I don't know what we would have done without Jack! I am so thankful he drove up to Rhode Island to make our day perfect!

Jack was GREAT! We had a last minute venue change for our ceremony and he was very flexible and did whatever he needed to do to help work things out! Things ran as smooth as silk! He was very interactive and kept our guests involved. We had a blast with the games he played, music he played and his ideas about the 'money dance' were awesome!!!! Jack was AMAZING. Throughout the entire planning process, he was immediately responsive whenever I had questions and would ask questions I didn't even know I had to help make sure the day was perfect. The day of, he got everyone dancing from the start - my guests were thrilled! I really can't imagine a better wedding day and he had an enormous part in that. Jack was amazing. He was always willing to help or meet with the couple whenever they needed to to reassure them with any questions they had. He engaged the bridal party and guests throughout the entire reception. He stepped in and took over when the cake was missing the Topper by creating one for the bride. From the onset of my DJ search Jack stood out from others. His responsiveness and professionalism were impeccable.

We had our ceremony and reception at Rosemont Manor in Berryville, VA.

The day of the wedding he arrived with an assistant and helped me with my sound check. I was going to be playing a song at the reception for my wife and he provided the mic stand and connected my guitar to his system .

Ceremony and reception were flawless. Everyone loved the blend of genres that we picked and Jack's ability to keep the energy up and the party going the way we wanted it to was exactly what we were hoping for in a DJ.

Extremely laid back and flexible which was exactly what we needed on what could have been a stressful day. With Jack there he helped make our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be - perfectly us, and stress free.

Jack provided something that every bride needs as she prepares for her wedding and on the wedding day- PEACE of mind! From the first meeting where he went through the details of what we wanted for ceremony and reception to the days before the wedding where he incorporated his amazing humor to joke about venue curator issues. He was prepared for anything, flexible and professional. He played a mix of music that got my older guests moving and then kicked it up a notch to get our friends to the dance floor. Best of all- the day of the wedding- he and his assistant jumped in to setup and handled the logistics without ever bothering the bride and groom! He just made it all happen and work! The ceremony sound was great- and allowed our guests to hear our handwritten vows! Perfect day and a lot of that is due to Jack and his team! Highly recommend!

It was a pleasure to have Jack DJ our wedding. Jack helped us pick songs and gave helpful suggestions for planning the evening. He met with us and the staff at the wedding location in advance to make sure the night would be perfect and to finalize the plans for the evening so everyone was on track. He even went out of his way to provide a million extension cords to provide music so I could have an outdoor ceremony and he made it perfect! Jack is fun to work with and all of our guests loved him and enjoyed the lighting on the dance floor and the music selection. We would definitely recommend Jack Reynolds as a DJ to anyone!

Jack was a great DJ. We had an outdoor wedding and it rained like crazy to the point Jack had to put up plastic around the tent he was in and move some of his equipment in the house. He never complained once about having to do this and the music never stopped once while he moved his equipment. He played a great variety of music and was very friendly. We chose Jack from Dreamscope for our wedding deejay and were SO glad that we did. He met with us a few times before the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page and to go over the timeline, etc. We had a lot of BIZARRE requests, but Jack made sure they were met. Jack arrived on our wedding day several hours early to set up and make sure everything was running smoothly. Our ceremony was flawless and our reception was amazing and we had great music! Our wedding was a Sunday evening and a lot of people left early to drive back home for work the next day. Jack did not let that discourage him and kept on as if there were 100 people there. We had a blast even though in the end there was only 10-15 of us there. I highly recommend Jack and Dreamscope deejay services for your wedding.

Jack Reynolds comes HIGHLY recommended. I have hired him twice for 2 weddings, 1 being my own and the other my daughters. He provides fun and entertainment with a large variety of music.

His interactions with the guests provides entertainment and fun that my guests really love. Ask him to do " The Wobble" and you will see what I mean.

Very reasonably priced as well. Would hire him again in a minute!

Jack is amazing! He did my sisters wedding in June of 2012 and we had to have him for our wedding in October 2013. He understands exactly what you are looking for and makes it happen! He keeps the party upbeat and will even get out on the floor and teach you how to do the dances! We had a great time learning to wobble :) Anyone can play music but what Jack does is an art! DJ Jack was amazing for our wedding. I heard nothing but great things from my guests in regards to the music. He worked the ceremony flawlessly and for the reception, he kept the night very lively (even coming out and dancing with the guests). The dance floor was full the entire night even after last call, which is saying a lot. His service goes beyond just the day of the Ceremony/wedding. He will meet you as many times as you need before the event to make sure that you have the day just the way you want it, from the intro songs for you and your wedding party, to the songs you do/don't want to hear, to special lighting for your reception. Not only that, he took time to come to the rehearsal to make sure he had the timing for the day of the ceremony and could plan out where his equipment will be out of the way. He is very responsive to e-mails and any questions that you might have. He is an absolute professional but keeps the mood light when he meets with you. On the day of the wedding, he had his equipment set up far ahead of time and takes great pride in making the smallest impact on your day (i.e. wires are hidden out of sight and out of people's way) The icing on the cake is his price was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend DJ Jack for any DJ needs you might have, especially weddings.

We were so pleased with Dreamscope Entertainment and DJ Jack. He was great to work with, very responsive, and is a true experienced professional. Jack was amazing!!! I live in NC with my wedding in SOMD. He worked with my schedule and when I could actually come into town. It was a pleasure to have Jack as my DJ. I went into the planning with absolutely no idea what songs or anything I was going to do. He helped me find songs by what I was looking for, as well as my whole timeline of my reception! Besides the fact he simply has a wonderful personality. I would definitely recommend Jack Reynolds as a DJ.

Jack Reynolds provided extremely professional, flexible and friendly services for my wedding reception. At first I did not even think I needed a DJ/MC for my wedding reception as I was having a very small, laid back gathering. However, Jack was more than willing to work within my requirements and desires for how I wanted my evening to proceed and was well worth every penny. He was tremendously helpful with keeping everything on track and on time as I had a strict time table I wanted to follow. I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone looking for a DJ/MC and I know I would personally hire him again for any of my future DJ/MC needs.

Jack was amazing from start to finish. He was the cheapest we found but with the highest quality of work. We were very impressed and are using him again this November 2012 for our daughters wedding.

Jack was extremely helpful and wonderful at our wedding! Not only did he DJ the wedding, but he also helped us with lighting in our tent (lifesaver!) and his wife and daughters acted as our food handlers, servers, etc! We had a DIY wedding with a small budget and Jack and his whole family did all they could to help us make it happen! I am so extremely grateful for his service and help! It was fantastic!

I was able to have DJ Jack for our wedding. Jack was so much more than a DJ. He helped me in so many ways. I still have a good relationship with him. If it wasn't for him and his great wife, I wouldn't have been able to pull my big day off. If your looking for a great DJ and a chance to become friends with a great guy.... go with DJ Jack and Dreamscope!

Jack was super fabulous at helping my family prepare for this day. He did a most excellent job at our wedding! I couldn't have ask for a better DJ! Will sure be using him again!!

Carlton did a great job!

We hired Carlton as our DJ and he did such a great job.
He was very responsive to our desires regarding music choices prior to the day, and day-of was on time and set up ready to go and super helpful to the event coordinator to keep things running smoothly. He was super energetic and engaging with the wedding party and guests and able to read the dance floor to keep people having fun. He's a friend of ours, so of course, he knows us well, but even if he didn't, he is so personable that he would do a great job with anyone's wedding.

Great job, would hire again. Met with us to go over reception planner beforehand. Helped to keep things on time during event and was flexible with the timeline as needed.

I never had to hire a DJ before so I was expecting the worst, but after meeting Jack for the first time, my husband and I wanted to sign a contract with him after only knowing him for 15 mins. Jack helped us work through the entire planning of our wedding (including a secret surprise my husband had planned for me) and even got up on the dance floor to show people how to do the 'Wobble'. The cost of a DJ was very important to us and of all the DJ’s that we talked to, Jack had the best price we could ask for. I would strongly recommend Jack as a DJ for any event you may need.

Jack was very professional and super easy to work with. Our guests were on the dance floor from the moment they walked into the reception until the second he packed up to leave for the night, which is all you can ask for at a wedding! We had a very large (200) crowd and he kept everyone smiling and happy. Our guests keep telling us how much fun they had an a big part of that is thanks to Jack!

My wedding was on 10-10-15. Jack, from Dreamscope Entertainment did a great job of playing music that made everyone want to dance and kept the party moving. He also helped out a ton by taking it on himself to make sure that the buffet style eating arrangement went smoothly by ensuring all of the tables went in numerical order by going table to table to let guests know when to get their plates, instead of announcing it over the microphone (a detail we had not considered, but was greatly appreciated and needed). I've been to weddings where the tables were "announced" for the buffet, and I definitely appreciate and prefer Jack's method. Jack met with us twice to discuss details of the reception and for the most part was receptive to our musical tastes. Dreamscope Entertainment was a great hire and Jack is a real wedding pro. Hire Dreamscope if you want someone that not only entertains your guests, but also cares about your overall wedding experience.

A good experience overall

Carlton and Jack were very understanding and flexible about the multiple wedding date changes as a result of COVID-19. We started off working with Jack, but ended up having Carlton DJ our wedding. We really enjoyed Carlton and the conversation we had prior to the wedding. He also helped us play a recorded speech during the reception, since the best man was in another country. Our only complaint was that we asked him specifically to not play hip hop/rap kind of music, which is what then seemed to be played for a large portion of the ceremony (he played classics we loved at the beginning when we were out mingling, but then seemed to play a lot of hip hoppy stuff once we were back which us and the majority of our wedding guests did not want to dance to). We found it a little strange, as well, since all of the weddings we have been to have only played classics and catchy/dance songs. It was also a little tricky getting a timely email response in the run up to the wedding, compared to our other vendors. So we do recommend using Dreamscope, but perhaps be more explicit if there is music you don't want played!
