  Best photographers!!!

  Jason and Shari were fantastic to work with, and they helped make our wedding day an incredibly special day. Our photos came out better than we could have hoped, and we cannot wait to look at them over and over again for the rest of our lives.
  
  They were calm, funny, and efficient on the day of the wedding. It was great to rely on them when we were nervous or overwhelmed. Overall, working with them was just a great experience.
  
  I would highly recommend choosing Jason and Shari as your photographers for engagement photos and/or your wedding. We could not be happier with our choice!

  The best of the best wedding photographers

  Being in the wedding industry myself for more than twenty years when it came time to decide on a photographer for my own daughter's wedding I naturally turned to my long time dear friends Jay and Shari who I knew beyond any shadow of a doubt would come through with the most amazing photos of this very special day in our lives. And boy did they deliver on that! But beyond the exquisite document of Molly and Phil's wedding day that we'll all truly treasure I knew that Jay and Shari and their unassuming and unobtrusive presence would make us all feel totally comfortable spending the day (and night) with them. There are no two sweeter, kinder, more easy going souls to have around you on your wedding day than J&S. To meet that was wildly important And to top off that the very best of the best wedding photographers!!! The photos are amazing. Thanks Jay and Shari. And Indiana too!!

  Simply Amazing

  From start to finish, our experience with Jason was great. He arrived early, was flexible with all of the twists and turns throughout the day and more importantly, has beautiful ideas for photos (angles, perspectives, creativity in each setting, etc). We were so happy. My wife and I have only written a handful of reviews in our lives but wanted to be sure we wrote this one to express how happy we were. Thank you, Jason!

  Stunning Photos and Wonderful Candids

  Excellent photos, nice people, competitive pricing!

  We were told that when planning a wedding, the photographer is one of the most important vendors. This is true! You spend so much time with them and they are capturing moments your family will have framed and displayed for decades. Jason and Shari have been in the industry for so long, have so many commendations, and for good reason. Their quality is incredible, they are fun to be around, and their price point is also a deal.
  
  We had an “elopement” on 1/2/21 in Central Park. Jason captured that day in many beautiful photos. It felt like a walk around Central Park with a friend.
  
  For our postponed celebration, aka our second wedding with friends and family present, we had one photographer—Jason. He took so many gorgeous photos. We were so busy seeing our guests and going through the rituals, it was hard to appreciate all the details we spent so long planning (flowers, lanterns, the welcome table, etc). Jason captured these details and now we get to look at them forever. The amount of time spent taking photos was also really minimal. We spent most of our time enjoying the day. We are thrilled with the quality of the photography!
  
  Adding an elopement and changing the season of our wedding (from off-season to peak season) did change the costs. At each step, we received transparency, fairness, and respect.
  
  I could go on, but the key takeaways are: high quality photos, fun/nice humans taking the photos, and a very fair/competitive price point.

  An all-around AMAZING Photography Couple!

  We could not have asked for a better photography team on our wedding day! Shari and Jason were an incredible duo - both professional and immensely talented. Moreover, they do everything they can to make your event special and memorable. Our experience with them was terrific and would recommend them to anyone 100 times out of 100. The moments they captured for us that day are priceless.

  Jason and Shari took pictures of all our weddings, yes we are the parents of the gorgeous couples, and we could not have been happier. Jason and Shari at this point are almost like family, they have seen the engagements, the weddings, the kids coming, and the cats grow old. If you want a stranger in your life go somewhere else, because these two are not going to be that. Too bad we have had all our weddings ... Shari and Jason you are photographers ...

  Exceeded expectations!

  We started looking for a photographer over a year ago and when we met Jason and Shari, we were blown away! They are both so down to earth and have a way to making you feel comfortable. Jason shot our engagement photos last fall and unfortunately all of the leaves had fallen off the trees and they were looking very dead. Somehow, Jason was able to find the perfect spots to use as a background and the pictures came out beautifully! Jason is extremely talented and has been such an asset in helping us navigate our photography changes as COVID has evolved. We had a small ceremony last weekend and Jason was on-time, attentive, and kept everyone on track. He has a great eye and was able to find the best spots for us to take our pictures. We cannot recommend Jason enough!! We were thrilled with our experience with him and will definitely be reaching out to him with any other photography needs in the future.

  Dreamscape was an absolute dream to work with!

  I cannot say enough great things about Jason and Shari! With the many, many changes that came along throughout our planning process, Jason and Shari were flexible and so accommodating. We did our engagement shoot with Jason in September of 2019 and after two postponements, we finally were able to meet again for our July 2021 wedding. Both Jason and Shari are kind, patient, helpful and so talented! Shari even helped my husband and all his groomsmen get their boutonnieres on so they looked great for pictures 😊 They made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, even our sometimes uncooperative flower girls, and captured our day so perfectly. It was important to me that our pictures feel candid rather than super staged and I was absolutely blown away when we received our pictures back. We’ve shared our pictures with all of family and friends and everyone cannot stop raving about what a great job they did. With all of that being said, you cannot beat their pricing either. If you are considering hiring Jason and Shari, you will not be disappointed!!

  We were lucky enough to have been referred to Shari and Jason via a friend of ours. From within the first few minutes talking on the phone with them to go over our wedding plans and vision for our photography, we immediately felt a connection with them. Their personal style and attention to detail (with their creative framing) and overall professional (yet super friendly) attitude we felt the entire process was in good hands. Day of our wedding Shari and Jason kept us all at ease and made taking pictures with our family members a lot of fun. I have seen other weddings where things can get very stressful but this was not the case at all. Even after our pictures were delivered to us we had guests saying "this was the best wedding ever, we didn't even notice the photographers". And this is a compliment in the highest regard... they kept our guests feeling happy, with their own space to party, AND they didn't miss a single shot. (Rest assured new couples, they even got "the kiss" at the ceremony from multiple angles, it was awesome). So in short: do not hesitate and book Shari and Jason for your next wedding.   There are not enough words to described how amazing Jason and Shari were throughout the entire planning process right up until the “Big Day” they are super sweet, down to earth and FUNNY!   Best Ever!

  We hired Dreamscape after they came highly recommended from friends of ours who were engaged and planning their wedding. Jason was only the second photographer I had reached out to and after speaking to him on the phone, I knew we were going to choose Dreamscape. Jason is warm, personable, patient, and very very good at what he does. Most importantly- he is always available to answer any questions, talk things through, and help make your big day run as smoothly as possible. I actually had no idea that Jason would create our entire schedule for the wedding day. This was an added bonus and really eased our minds as our wedding quickly approached. Jason’s thing is he doesn’t want to be one of those photographers who’s up in everyone’s face at a wedding. He and his wife are really inconspicuous but capture such beautiful moments without you even knowing they’re there! The emotions that were captured in our wedding photos are absolutely priceless. Jason and Shari are so patient, kind, funny, and very responsive- something really important as you’re planning your wedding. Jason also remembers you and the little things you mentioned to him on your first phone call. That’s really important to me when spending a money on a wedding vendor. I personally wanted to feel like the photographer capturing our wedding photos actually knows us- which was then translated to our photos. Jason sent us a sneak peek within a few weeks of our wedding which was such a huge surprise! He also got our entire album back in a prompt manner (much sooner than I expected!) and is still answering my emails and responding to my questions after everything is said and done. If you’re looking for competent, extremely talented, and genuinely kind people shooting your wedding photos, look no further! Jason and Shari are the perfect duo and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

  Jason and Shari did an incredible job capturing every moment of our big day. Jason and I had a few calls in the time leading up to the wedding which was very helpful. He made sure that we got all of the photos we were looking for. The quality of the photos are fantastic- not overly edited, lots of nice B&W photos. We received everything back in about 9 weeks. I cannot recommend them enough and feel so thankful to have worked with them!

We wanted a photographer that did an amazing job without making it feel like work to us and that is exactly what they delivered! I would 100% recommending anyone to look no further and hire them for their event! I promise you wont be disappointed! They had great communication and was so quick with sending us our photos when we would hear friends of ours waiting up to a year for theirs.. He told us he’d send me a teaser so we could see some of the photos while he finished up the album and I said ok great.. I opened the link and it was a full slideshow with song perfectly chosen by him! I was able to share it on my social media and ppl were floored &amazed &teared! They stuttered when I told them that was just a teaser slideshow they sent us & they could not believe it! Thankyou so much Jason &Sheri a million times more for delivering beyond our expectations!   Our #1 Vendor Recommendation!

  If we could only recommend one wedding vendor, it would be Jason Weaver from Dreamscape Studio Photography. From our first phone call, we got a sense of Jason - personable, professional, experienced, and passionate about getting the right balance of traditional wedding portraits and fun candid photos that capture the couple and the night. We found all of this to be true during our engagement photo shoot. Jason directed us, made us feel comfortable, and kept us laughing the whole shoot. We ended up having a great time with him. And the photos he took were unreal - he has an eye for finding the most amazing lighting and the perfect shot. We have received so many compliments on the quality of those photos. When Jason and Shari showed up on the wedding day, it was like being reacquainted with old friends. They kept us calm, managed the timing, and made sure we got all of the shots we wanted. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. During the party, we barely noticed them taking photos, but they were magically right there whenever we wanted to get a photo with a specific group of guests. Jason and Shari were such a pleasure to work with, we were honestly sad to say goodbye at the end of the night! We HIGHLY recommend and can’t wait to use them again in the future.

From our first phone call, we got a sense of Jason - personable, professional, experienced, and passionate about getting the right balance of traditional wedding portraits and fun candid photos that capture the couple and the night. We found all of this to be true during our engagement photo shoot. Jason directed us, made us feel comfortable, and kept us laughing the whole shoot. We ended up having a great time with him.   such an enjoyable experience

  We hired both Shari and Jason for our wedding and we are so glad we did! I love all of the posed pictures but what I was really surprised to see were all of the candid pictures that truly captured the love and happiness of our wedding. Neither me nor my husband love being in front of a camera but you would not be able to tell by all of the pictures we have. I would highly recommend them to anyone! super easy to work with and easy to get a hold of.

  Casual perfection

  Could not be happier with Jason’s work! We have two kids and were concerned they wouldn’t cooperate but he was so good with them, as he was with our whole family. Jason blended so well and I felt like anytime a guest approached me or my wife with a phone to take pictures he was right there and got a great shot. We were particularly attracted to his candids because we had a limited timeline and he delivered big time. He got so many great pictures of everyone actually enjoying themselves and he each other, every chance we have to look back on his photos is a treat. It was like he was another guest at our party but he managed to get so many great shots without breaking the flow of the night at all. I’m so happy with his work that I insisted my friend hire him and we can’t wait to see him at their wedding. On your big day so many things can go wrong, but if you hire Jason you don’t have to worry about getting great pictures of every moment.

  One of our favorite wedding vendors

  Hiring Dreamscape Studio Photography was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Jason's photos looked both natural and stunning; he was incredibly easy to work with; and his rates were surprisingly reasonable.
  
  Jason's combination of laid-back calm and ironic humor suited us perfectly, and he made our wedding less stressful as well. My husband and I are very uncomfortable in front of cameras, but Jason made our engagement photo shoot and our wedding as low-key as possible, offering funny commentary as well as directions and pointers when we needed them.
  
  Jason was also incredibly responsive and professional: he answered email immediately, he coordinated well with all our other vendors, and he was happy to take requests but also gave helpful suggestions. When we were arranging the contract with him, for example, he helped us save a little money by pointing out that we didn't need some of the extras we were considering.
  
  We were very pleasantly surprised by how much Jason cared about making sure we were happy with the photos and the wedding. For instance, Jason told us (accurately) that he would send us all our wedding photos within two months, but since we were having a second reception a few weeks after our wedding, we asked if he could send us a few photos ahead of time to display at that reception. Instead, he sent us a gorgeous slideshow of photos from the entire wedding, complete with soundtrack. A list of people who have cried happy tears when watching this slideshow: us, my parents, our relatives, my parents' friends, and random strangers whom my parents have shown the slideshow to.
  
  We would hire Dreamscape again in a heartbeat, and we hope you do the same!

  Amazing experience

  Jason and Shari were an absolute pleasure to work with! After working in a NYC art gallery for 12+ years, one might say that I am... fussy when it comes to photography. Jason and Shari both did an outstanding job; my husband and I could not have been more pleased, and we cannot recommend them enough.
  
  We were looking for images that captured natural light, that weren't instagram-filtered or overly saturated. Dreamscape gave us just that. We now have a beautiful portfolio of photos that elegantly capture us. These are not people who have picked up photography as a "hobby". They know their way around the camera, how to utilize tonality & composition, and they are well-versed in meeting any needs you might have in post-production.
  
  On top of this, they are really nice people. They really put us at ease. Shari even gave me food that she with her during our "first look", because oops...   Jason and Shari were wonderful to work with. From the moment we met Jason at our engagement shoot, he was easy going and helped us feel less awkward taking photos (great practice for the big day!). Jason and Shari are responsive to email, reasonably priced and you can tell they truly love what they do and they do a great job at it! It took me a lot of research and time to find the right photographer with the style I was looking for (natural esthetic with a mix of candids and posed shots) and luckily I came across Dreamscape. Aside from booking our venue, they were the most important vendors to us and we booked them asap to secure our date. On our wedding day Jason and Shari were such a calming presence. I remember feeling stressed at one point and Shari calmed me down with her helpful yoga breathing techniques. She's so sweet and down to earth - I was grateful she was there! Jason will make you laugh throughout the day and strives to capture every special moment. He will be sure to check in with you throughout the evening and make sure you're happy, ensuring that you get all the photos you asked for.
