Jason and Shari are amazing photographers and lovely people! We had a great time working with them for our engagement and wedding photos and we are so pleased with the pictures we received. They provided the perfect amount of guidance for awkward posers (me) without making you do too much forced uncomfortable posing. The results were beautiful, natural pictures that I can't stop looking at. They seemed to always be in the exact right place at the reception and captured every candid moment.
They were a calming presence on my wedding day and I greatly appreciated their guidance and easy-going energy. Can't recommend them enough. -

My husband and I used Jason and Shari for our wedding last year. We had the BEST experience with them! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, they made everything absolutely amazing. They were calm, organized, and respectful throughout the day. I was nervous with some dicey weather and they were so calm about it. Not only were they fantastic photographers, Shari even tried to help me get a stain out of my wedding dress. They delivered ~100 photos to us a few days after our wedding which we loved looking at on our honeymoon. When we got the rest of the photos we were absolutely blown away. They captured our day so well. We would use them again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

We are SO HAPPY that we chose Jason and Shari as our wedding photographers! During the selection process, their portfolio immediately stood out to us. Their photos are natural, beautifully composed, and full of emotion without being over-edited or overly staged. Their package was reasonably priced, and the level of service we received far exceeded our expectations. During our initial phone call, they took the time to get to know us, and allowed us to get to know them, which made us feel confident and comfortable. During our engagement session, Jason handled our less than ideal weather (50 degrees and 30 mph winds with the occasional drizzle) like a pro, and the photos look like they came right out of a fairytale. After that, we knew we were in expert hands and we had absolutely zero worries leading up to, and on, our wedding day. During our Wedding Mass, Jason and Shari were quiet, respectful, and nearly invisible, while still capturing each intimate moment. Their lighting setup to photograph our portraits in the church after Mass was swift, clean, and quiet.
Throughout the entire process communication was excellent, the experience was smooth, the service was amazing, and we absolutely LOVE our photos. To top it all off, we received a preview link the DAY AFTER OUR WEDDING with over 100 photos that we immediately shared with family and friends (I had never heard of a photographer sharing photos so quickly). We're planning to order a wedding album from Dreamscape Studio Photography as well. Highly, highly recommend!! -

Jason & Shari captured the joy of our wedding day perfectly. We didn't want to make the whole day about photos (aka photoshoot), so they fit right into the day seamlessly, capturing great candid photos and some posed photos without it being a photoshoot. It was great to do the engagement shoot first - those photos came out great, so I knew I'd love the wedding photos too. -

Jason & Shari were absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to work with. I got married in September at Tappan Hill Mansion and Jason knew exactly what to do and where to set up in the venue to get the most breathtaking photos. When I got my photos back I was BLOWN AWAY! I felt like a princess on my wedding day and Jason truly captured that in the photos. He captured every single moment and I am able to relive the best day of my life every time I look at the photos!

Jason was absolutely incredible to work with as our wedding photographer! From the moment we met him, we connected right away with his easygoing personality and professionalism. On the wedding day, he went above and beyond, taking the time to get to know our families, which made everyone feel comfortable and at ease.
My mom was running around everywhere, and my dad hates having his picture taken, but Jason handled it all perfectly. He was firm enough to keep everyone on track but funny and lighthearted enough to make the process enjoyable. Even my dad ended up laughing and smiling for photos!
The photos themselves were everything we could have hoped for—bright, vibrant, and full of life. Jason’s ability to capture every moment beautifully really shows how much he cares about his work.
On top of all that, his pricing was incredibly fair compared to other photographers we looked at. We feel like we got so much value for our investment. If you’re looking for a photographer who’s not only talented but also a joy to work with, we can’t recommend Jason enough! -

Jason and Shari were fantastic to work with, and they helped make our wedding day an incredibly special day. Our photos came out better than we could have hoped, and we cannot wait to look at them over and over again for the rest of our lives.
They were calm, funny, and efficient on the day of the wedding. It was great to rely on them when we were nervous or overwhelmed. Overall, working with them was just a great experience.

Being in the wedding industry myself for more than twenty years when it came time to decide on a photographer for my own daughter's wedding I naturally turned to my long time dear friends Jay and Shari who I knew beyond any shadow of a doubt would come through with the most amazing photos of this very special day in our lives. And boy did they deliver on that! But beyond the exquisite document of Molly and Phil's wedding day that we'll all truly treasure I knew that Jay and Shari and their unassuming and unobtrusive presence would make us all feel totally comfortable spending the day (and night) with them. There are no two sweeter, kinder, more easy going souls to have around you on your wedding day than J&S. To meet that was wildly important And to top off that the very best of the best wedding photographers!!! The photos are amazing. Thanks Jay and Shari. And Indiana too!! -

One of our favorite wedding vendors
Hiring Dreamscape Studio Photography was one of the best wedding decisions we made. Jason's photos looked both natural and stunning; he was incredibly easy to work with; and his rates were surprisingly reasonable.
Jason's combination of laid-back calm and ironic humor suited us perfectly, and he made our wedding less stressful as well. My husband and I are very uncomfortable in front of cameras, but Jason made our engagement photo shoot and our wedding as low-key as possible, offering funny commentary as well as directions and pointers when we needed them.
Jason was also incredibly responsive and professional: he answered email immediately, he coordinated well with all our other vendors, and he was happy to take requests but also gave helpful suggestions. When we were arranging the contract with him, for example, he helped us save a little money by pointing out that we didn't need some of the extras we were considering.
We were very pleasantly surprised by how much Jason cared about making sure we were happy with the photos and the wedding. For instance, Jason told us (accurately) that he would send us all our wedding photos within two months, but since we were having a second reception a few weeks after our wedding, we asked if he could send us a few photos ahead of time to display at that reception. Instead, he sent us a gorgeous slideshow of photos from the entire wedding, complete with soundtrack. A list of people who have cried happy tears when watching this slideshow: us, my parents, our relatives, my parents' friends, and random strangers whom my parents have shown the slideshow to.
We would hire Dreamscape again in a heartbeat, and we hope you do the same! -

Truly the best!
Jason and Shari did an incredible job capturing every moment of our big day. Jason and I had a few calls in the time leading up to the wedding which was very helpful. He made sure that we got all of the photos we were looking for. The quality of the photos are fantastic- not overly edited, lots of nice B&W photos. We received everything back in about 9 weeks. I cannot recommend them enough and feel so thankful to have worked with them! -

We were lucky enough to have been referred to Shari and Jason via a friend of ours. From within the first few minutes talking on the phone with them to go over our wedding plans and vision for our photography, we immediately felt a connection with them. Their personal style and attention to detail (with their creative framing) and overall professional (yet super friendly) attitude we felt the entire process was in good hands. Day of our wedding Shari and Jason kept us all at ease and made taking pictures with our family members a lot of fun. I have seen other weddings where things can get very stressful but this was not the case at all. Even after our pictures were delivered to us we had guests saying "this was the best wedding ever, we didn't even notice the photographers". And this is a compliment in the highest regard... they kept our guests feeling happy, with their own space to party, AND they didn't miss a single shot. (Rest assured new couples, they even got "the kiss" at the ceremony from multiple angles, it was awesome). So in short: do not hesitate and book Shari and Jason for your next wedding. It will be the easiest and best decision you've made, besides "I do". -

Jason and Shari were an absolute pleasure to work with! After working in a NYC art gallery for 12+ years, one might say that I am... fussy when it comes to photography. Jason and Shari both did an outstanding job; my husband and I could not have been more pleased, and we cannot recommend them enough.
We were looking for images that captured natural light, that weren't instagram-filtered or overly saturated. Dreamscape gave us just that. We now have a beautiful portfolio of photos that elegantly capture us. These are not people who have picked up photography as a "hobby". They know their way around the camera, how to utilize tonality & composition, and they are well-versed in meeting any needs you might have in post-production.
On top of this, they are really nice people. They really put us at ease. Shari even gave me food that she with her during our "first look", because oops... I forgot to eat in my panic leading up to the wedding... All in all, we are so happy that we hired them, and we look forward to working with them again in NYC. -

Just what we were looking for!
Jason and Shari were wonderful to work with. From the moment we met Jason at our engagement shoot, he was easy going and helped us feel less awkward taking photos (great practice for the big day!). Jason and Shari are responsive to email, reasonably priced and you can tell they truly love what they do and they do a great job at it! It took me a lot of research and time to find the right photographer with the style I was looking for (natural esthetic with a mix of candids and posed shots) and luckily I came across Dreamscape. Aside from booking our venue, they were the most important vendors to us and we booked them asap to secure our date. On our wedding day Jason and Shari were such a calming presence. I remember feeling stressed at one point and Shari calmed me down with her helpful yoga breathing techniques. She's so sweet and down to earth - I was grateful she was there! Jason will make you laugh throughout the day and strives to capture every special moment. He will be sure to check in with you throughout the evening and make sure you're happy, ensuring that you get all the photos you asked for. I think what I loved the most was that when we got our photos back I was surprised by a bunch of candids that I don't even remember being taken (like the attached), but they're so incredibly special to me and truly capture the love that day. We were so happy with our wedding photos and will cherish them forever thanks to Jason and Shari! -

Jason and Shari took pictures of all our weddings, yes we are the parents of the gorgeous couples, and we could not have been happier. Jason and Shari at this point are almost like family, they have seen the engagements, the weddings, the kids coming, and the cats grow old. If you want a stranger in your life go somewhere else, because these two are not going to be that. Too bad we have had all our weddings ... Shari and Jason you are photographers ... -

We hired both Shari and Jason for our wedding and we are so glad we did! I love all of the posed pictures but what I was really surprised to see were all of the candid pictures that truly captured the love and happiness of our wedding. Neither me nor my husband love being in front of a camera but you would not be able to tell by all of the pictures we have. I would highly recommend them to anyone! super easy to work with and easy to get a hold of. -

A HUGE Thankyou to Jason &his wife Sheri for capturing our special day!! We wanted a photographer that did an amazing job without making it feel like work to us and that is exactly what they delivered! I would 100% recommending anyone to look no further and hire them for their event! I promise you wont be disappointed! They had great communication and was so quick with sending us our photos when we would hear friends of ours waiting up to a year for theirs.. He told us he’d send me a teaser so we could see some of the photos while he finished up the album and I said ok great.. I opened the link and it was a full slideshow with song perfectly chosen by him! I was able to share it on my social media and ppl were floored &amazed &teared! I could not be happier with our choice to use Dreamscape as our wedding photographers! Jason and Shari were both amazing to work with. Jason completely made our wedding. Every single detail was captured beautifully and artistically in his photographs. We re-live the day each time we look at the photos. He does a fantastic job getting classic photos, as well as candids, giving you the perfect blend of posed and natural photos. He completely captured the personalities, love, and laughter that filled our day. Our photos outside are simply phenomenal. I couldn't imagine our special day without Jason. You will not be disappointed. We cannot wait for another excuse to work with him & will be using his amazing talent any other chance we can to continue to capture our family.

We worked with just Jason for our 100-person wedding and it was a wonderful experience! I can’t recommend Jason enough. He was so easy to work with, quick to respond to emails, is professional and has a great personality! He listened to all my ideas, shared his own, and we came up with a wedding day plan that was realistic and achievable, without being stressful! A huge bonus, I never worried about the pictures! All of the pictures, from planned formals to reception, are amazing and we are beyond happy with the experience! Plus, Jason gives you a link for your photos that you can download.

Jason and Shari are both teriffic. Our photos were absolutely stunning! We had unexpected rain and Jason came prepared with umbrellas and new photo location ideas to prevent us from getting completely soaked. Shari was very helpful, she helped the guys with their boutineers and me with an unexpected dress mishap. They both went above and beyond. Jason was super helpful and professional in addition to being a talented photographer with a great sense of humor. -

Monica Sent on 01/21/2018We can't say enough amazing things about Jason. We had him for our engagement shoot and for our wedding this August and both experiences were wonderful. We decided to go with only Jason and not the 2nd photographer. Jason covered the entire wedding perfectly and even captured some beautiful moments we weren't expecting. The photos are truly beautiful and everything we wanted. We cannot thank him enough for how professional but yet fun and enjoyable the whole experience was. Jason was sooooooo much help that day, not only does he help you feel more at ease but he helped with putting on boutonnières. He was never intrusive, and he didn't set up a ton of lights like i've seen at some weddings. So we were really able to enjoy the day. And he knew exactly how to deal with the crazy huge family that was telling him what pictures to take, etc...that is a gift! Jason was more like a friend than a vendor. We had an amazing time! And honestly, we continue to get compliments not only on our photos, but also on Jason and how professional he was, but yet so much fun. We can't say enough good things about him! Excellent photographer!

Kate Sent on 12/30/2017Jason was the perfect photographer for our wedding and for our style, and I am so happy with the final product! Shopping for a photographer felt really daunting because it is such a huge expense. What initially attracted us was, honestly, the work - we loved the ease and general tone that his photographs gave off - just a feel of real people enjoying a real day but beautifully captured. However, even when you see some beautiful pictures on a website, you know when you investigate further it might be way out of your price range. Jason surprised us. He was right in the range of some other photographers we were considering, but while they were offering a package for 8 hours, he was offering (for the same rate) 10 hours and a free engagement sitting. He was friendly and easy to work with, and I really feel like the engagement sitting helped us to get comfortable with him and in front of the camera, as well as giving him the chance to get to know us in a way that, later, you could see he really applied to the wedding photos. He listened to us, and he catered his style around our wants and needs. We wanted candids and lots of photos of our guests - we wanted the day captured more than everyone lined up to smile for the camera. He gave us both, of course, but I think he really applied what we told him we wanted and we couldn't be happier with the end product. Thank you so much, Jason. I can't imagine a better choice out there, and we love our photos!
