Fantastic DJ

DJ John did a wonderful job at our wedding. We were a bit demanding in terms of our song lists, black lists, etc, but he handled everything really well. He was able to include everything that we wanted when we wanted it. He also is very flexible and was able to accommodate us with some eleventh hour additions. He did a great job with announcements (we had some weird ones) and had an amazing personality, especially when he introduced the wedding party at the reception. Our highlight was the fog machine during our first dance. We even requested that the fog reach its optimal level at a certain point in our song and John was able to work his magic and make this happen perfectly. Dream Productions is a reasonable company and they put the client's desires first and foremost. They are willing to work with you to ensure that you have the wedding (or event) of your dreams. Thank you!

Ali and Ryan from Dream Productions are the best!!

Oh my gosh, we absolutely loved working with Ali and Ryan from Dream Productions for our wedding! They were so easy going and personable - we just really felt their personalities fit with ours and they were just what we were looking for. We booked them for our Ceremony, Reception and Lights and they did an incredible job. They also accommodated our 'non-traditional' wedding music taste and requests, but still kept a good balance for all of our guests throughout the evening - they made our wedding perfect!

Dream Productions DJs

We used Dream Productions DJs for my daughter's Sweet 16 on April 13th. They were awesome to say the least. Our DJ Josh was great. He engaged our guests, was entertaining and went out of his way to make sure my daughter was happy. We had a western themed party with a lot of Country and Spanish music. Dream Productions went above our expectations and made sure they got every song we requested and they gave us a great price. I would definitely recommend Dream Productions to anyone looking for a DJ service!

Amazing Wedding Experience!

We had an amazing experience with Dream Productions. Stacey was the DJ for our wedding in October and she did an amazing job! Our experience was great from start to finish. Stacey made time to meet with us on more than one occasion. She would give us great ideas each time we met or talked and was very open about our vision as well. Our reception was flawless. I continue to get compliments on how much fun everyone had and how much they loved all the music that was played. Stacey was major part of our evening running so well. She knew how to read the crowd and got everyone in a festive mood. I would highly recommend Dream Productions DJ to anyone and everyone.

Wedding DJ

DJ John made our wedding day a blast! He did our ceremony, lighting and reception. Everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend dream productions and their team for any event! Never had an empty dance floor!

He made my wedding day a breeze !

I can’t even explain how great it was to have John dj the wedding for us. Not only was he the dj but he took on roles that weren’t in his job description. He helped us with our wedding outline, did our ceremony, took control of the lighting, and catered to our every need all while staying calm and collected during our big day. He played music that kept everyone moving. He respected our wishes of music selection and made every bit of our wedding a breeze. He was able to make our mess ups of our wedding party look like we did it on purpose! Oh my goodness... just the best day of my life. I have no regrets.

DJ SHANE IS AWESOME!!!! He made our reception such a blast! After meeting with him and discussing our hopes for the reception, he 100% delivered exactly what we wanted and seemed to have so much fun doing it! He brings the party and is a great guy to work with! Thank you, DJ Shane!

We used Dream Productions for a corporate holiday party. John was very responsive and helpful in the planning stage. As for the event itself, John did a great job of tailoring his music to our crowd, and kept everyone happy and engaged with the music. We would certainly use him again.

Josh was our DJ from Dream Productions and he couldn't have been any more amazing! Right from the beginning Josh made sure that he was going to do whatever it took to make sure we weren't stressed and keep us on track for the evening. He was able to help us transition easily from one event to the next and would check in with us to see how we were doing throughout the night. He made sure we had eaten dinner (Super important!) and would check in with us to see if there was anything else we needed. The music selection was exactly what we wanted and the rest he filled in fit perfectly. We had guests coming up to us telling us the music was great and how much fun they were having. I would HIGHLY recommend Dream Productions for your next event. They're personable, great communication, and tons of fun!

We decided on Dream Productions after completing a video chat with John Becker. We video chatted with John twice prior to our wedding day but the wedding was our first time meeting him in real life. We cannot say enough about him. He provided the music for our ceremony and reception. Ceremony was perfectly timed and he played songs that I requested. John was very personable and did a wonderful job announcing the toasts, dinner, etc. He did forget to announce our MOH and Best Man during our entrance but if that is the only thing wrong, I'd say you're doing pretty well! The reception is where John shined. He read the crowd perfectly. He knew what songs would keep the people who liked dancing on the dance floor. Many people told me it was the most fun wedding they ever attended and that credit goes to John. Thank you for a job well done. We used Dream Productions for our daughter's wedding reception at Baker Events in Holland Michigan. What an awesome time of celebration. John was easy to work with and "very non-cheesy" which we so appreciated. He read the crowd very well and a played a great variety of music. Thanks so much for making their special night a great celebration to remember. A great night was had by all!

I cannot even begin to express how amazing John was to work with! We had our ceremony in Grand Haven at the Central Park and our reception across the street at the Community Center. The day of the weddibg started out so windy that we decided to set up inside of the community center so the audio wouldn't suffer for our ceremony (my biggest pet peve is not being able to hear what is said at a wedding). Well, the wind finally died down and John was so awesome to re-set up at the last minute outside and we were able to enjoy the lovely weather and park for our wedding. At the reception everything went great! Everyone had an amazing time and ejoyed the music immensely. John, you are awesome! (Oh, and it was great that he worked with us being long distance ;-))

DJ Shane did a great job for our wedding. The way he took control of the night and allowed us to enjoy ourselves was great. He was attentive and the guests enjoyed his banter. Thanks again for the great game ideas. Our family is still talking about the shoe game!!

They were amazing. I had them do my wedding music in my back yard and they were absolutely amazing and played everything at the right time. Then at my reception we had so many compliments about the DJ that I was so glad that I hired them. I was suppose to have a band that backed out 2 weeks before the wedding. They were awesome with the short notice and I don't think anyone could have done better. THE PRICES ARE SO AWESOME

I cannot come up with a single thing to complain about here. DJ Stacey was better than I could have dreamed of. She perfectly and seamlessly recorded all the audio for our ceremony, beat us all to the reception venue and had the music pumping when we arrived. She joined the party - not pretending she knew everyone but in just the perfect way that made you know she had every little detail under control. She was nothing but pleasant and helpful during our pre-event meetings, and she was an absolute blast at the reception. Great job Stacey - we loved having you and all our guests want your contact info for any upcoming events they may desire a DJ for! :)

DJ John is seriously the best DJ out there!! He is so fun, plays the best music, and is professional and easy to work with! He was the DJ for my sister's wedding and my friend's wedding and they were both a blast!! He can get ANYONE on the dance floor and knows just when to keep things rockin' or slow it down a bit. You will not be disappointed by hiring him - he will have your guests dancing the night away and make your reception a night to remember! We love DJ John!!

My only regret is that I can't give Dream Productions a higher rating or rate them twice! The owner, John, is extremely professional. His sheet to fill out for what we desired was extremely helpful. His 'meet and greet' of the actual DJ that would do the wedding is an excellent way to do business. He was professional and had great response to every question we had.

We had Stacey as a DJ and she is EXCELLENT! My oldest daughter liked her so much that she wrote down the name of the company so she could go with them when she gets married. I love, love, loved everything about this company! I honestly don't think one could go wrong with them and I just can't say enough good about them.

Dream productions was fabulous! John the dj was very professional and had the dance floor full the entire night! He really made the night fun, and magical when we danced on a cloud for our first dance! I would highly recommend Dream productions!!

We had DJ Shane at Dream Productions and he was a hit!!! Want to have the wedding of the year? Make sure you have proper entertainment! Using Dream Productions will ensure it! Shane had such amazing ideas and he really made our night that much more special! We are still getting compliments about how much fun our wedding was, and I know it was mostly due to Shane!! I would use them again if I ever needed a DJ!!

I applaud Dream Productions for making my reception a huge success! DJ Leslie did a wonderful job keeping my guests on their toes. She knew how to play the right songs at the right moments and she also made sure to play everything from my list. From the initial meeting to exchanging emails, I was very impressed with the quick replies on answering all my questions and never keeping me in the dark. So glad I went with Dream Productions, not only will I be recommending them, but I'm sure my guests will as well.

Dj Stacey was the BEST!!! So many compliments from all age groups about her. The light show was superb and she made sure to play to the audience. Couldn't have picked a better dj!

These guys were great! John was very prompt in responding to all of my emails and DJ Stacey did an excellent job running the show at my wedding reception. I didn't have to worry about the details and they were very willing and ready to make suggestions when I had no idea what to do.

I was very anxious when picking out a DJ for our wedding reception. The music at a wedding reception can really make the night so much more fun. Dream Productions, without a doubt, was the BEST DJ service I've ever heard. I'm not being bias because I used them, but they are SO helpful and super easy to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend Stacy. She had all my guests with smiles on their faces from the first song, to the last. Not only are they the best for entertainment, but they are also extremely affordable. LOVED them, and would seriously recommend their services.

John did a fantastic job as the DJ at our wedding!! He was timely, professional, super friendly and went above & beyond the call of duty. John brought Greg & I a fog machine as a surprise for our first dance at no charge! He also got out on the dance floor to guide a few of the group dances when there was confusion. I loved his announcing voice & could not have asked for a better person for the job. He got everyone out on the dance floor and having a good time with his choice of songs. Dream Productions is simply the BEST!!!

We hired Dream Productions for our wedding DJ, and we could not be happier with their service. We had Stacey as our DJ for our ceremony and reception. She was awesome! We had a lot of people comment on how great she was, and she kept people dancing all night. I don't think the dance floor was empty once. She even came to our rehearsal the night before to make sure everything was good to go (timing, speakers, etc.). She definitely went the extra mile to make sure everything went off without a hitch.

We met Dream Productions at a Bridal Show in January, and spoke with Stacey briefly. We met with Stacey twice after that. Once as a meet and greet, and once to go over our song list for the ceremony and reception. Both times she made us feel very confident in her abilities. She was EXTREMELY helpful in picking out songs for our wedding. We had idea of what we wanted, but could not put our finger on it. When we gave her a general idea, she ran with it and picked out the perfect song for us. She sat with us for a long time to pick out our songs and never complained once. We could not have had the playlist we had without her help!

Everyone at the company was very professional and nice to work with. They sent reminders in the mail and email at the appropriate times. I never felt like I had to keep track of things for the DJ side of things when the wedding planning got crazy. If you are considering hiring Dream Productions for your wedding, DO NOT HESITATE to book them. You will not be disappointed!

Words can't describe how wonderful of a business this is! I actually won my whole dJ service for my wedding through a bridal show. I've never met such a wonderful business that would do that! We had Stacey as our dj, she went above and beyond her service by making our special day even better, EVERYONE loved her!!!!! John was also always quick to answer emails and calls if I had any questons. This business is highly recommended, on time, professional, and #1. Thank you everyone for the wonderful gift! Also they gave me a CD with our music choice!!! We recommend this to everyone!

From the first meeting until the end of the night, Gene and the staff at Dream Productions kept my wedding running smooth. My guests loved them! They went above and beyond with the lighting as well.

I had been to a wedding in November of last year that was DJ'd by John at Dream Productions. When my fiance & I set our date shortly after, we knew that we wanted DJ John for our DJ! Our wedding was July 7, 2012...we had a TON of compliments on the music that was played and how there was a great mix. I would recommend DJ John to anyone, for any event! He's great to work with, full of great ideas and will make your event run smoothly and will keep people entertained. Truly professional and wonderful to deal with. If your looking and reading this review, you don't need to look any more - he's affordable and great at what he does! :)

My older sister got married 5 years ago and she had said the best thing about her wedding was John, her DJ, from Dream Productions. I trusted her opinion and had him DJ our wedding just last month and I have to say I completely agree with her. He was the best thing about our wedding!

A guest overheard the reception staff saying they couldn't believe everyone was still on the dance floor when the bar closed at 11pm. That had everything to do with John. He did an awesome job at keeping people out there on the floor.

I've already recommended his company to a friend getting married in August. She was also impressed by him since she attended our wedding and got to witness him in action and she also loved the price. He is VERY affordable. He could get away with charging more if he wanted to, but in one of our one on one meetings he said he wants to keep things affordable for customers. That right there really told me that he loved what he did.

I will be recommending him to anyone and everyone!

AWESOME D J but I knew that as a family friend had used them at their wedding reception So professional and FUN! Our guests from all age groups told us how much fun they had at our wedding. That to us was what it's all about guests having fun No worries in using this company

John was AMAZING!!!! Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was never empty. I was extremely pleased with him. I had quite a few compliments on how great the DJ was. Everything we wanted to hear was played. I am so glad we went with Dream Productions! All I can say is that if I ever need a DJ again I will know who to call. John did a great job at our wedding. He kept the reception flowing nicely. Also, he did a great job picking music that kept the dance floor packed but also stayed within the guidelines of what we wanted. We especially loved getting a CD at the end of all the special songs we had picked.

John at Dream Productions did our older daughter's wedding about a year and a half ago, and we liked him so much we had him do the wedding for our middle daughter on Oct. 15, 2011. He did a great job. Several people commented that it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. The dance floor was full the entire night, and he kept things moving in the order we had planned. It was a blast! We will definately call him again when the next one gets married. Thanks for a great time John!

We loved our DJ Stacy, with Dream Productions, who was so accommodating and even attended our rehearsal in order to make sure timing of our music was right. She played our more eclectic song choices at all the right times, mixing them well with pop/hip-hop and the more indie stuff we wanted to hear. They always returned my phone calls within 1 business day and were SO SO professional and helpful. So affordable too, I will never go anywhere else for DJ services, truly. Music at my wedding was my BIGGEST concern and they did it perfectly.

John was very organized and made sure we had all the music we wanted. The price was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. When we met with John, he answered all of our questions and made suggestions without trying to up-sell expensive extras like most DJ's do.
Stacey was our DJ and she did a wonderful job. The reception was an indoor/outdoor event with dancing in both areas, Stacey had a great set-up with speakers in both places without any extra charge. She played exactly the right music, which kept me smiling and dancing all evening. She adapted smoothly and quickly to changes in plans and I would highly recommend her for any wedding. We are extremely glad we chose Dream Productions.

John was so on top of things and so quick to respond to any question I asked. He helped us out when we were stuck trying to pick our songs and there were so many choices that he burnt us a cd so we could actually listen to the songs. He was amazing the night of the reception! He kept all of our guests on the dance floor all night long and played everything we asked for. He also gave us a CD of our music that we picked so we can have it to listen to anytime we want! Such a plus!

John from Dream Productions was by far our favorite vendor. He was extremely helpful and organized throughout the entire reception and had our dance floor packed all night. His prices are also very reasonable, you will not be disappointed if you use him.

So far DJ Nikko has been wonderful! Our wedding date is this August and I can't wait for our DJ experience! We will have dance on a cloud, a custom monogram, uplighting, and a custom dj track list. I can't wait for our big day and dreamproductions has been wonderful!

Absolutely PERFECT for our wedding!! I've had bad luck with DJ's in the passed so I was very concerned that I would get burned again -- NOPE!! Dream Productions did an amazing job for us :) We had DJ Lesley, and she kept people on the dance floor all night. I loved that we had the meetings before the wedding that allowed us to get a feel for Lesley and her personality, as well as she get a feel for us. Heck, she was even out on the dance floor helping teach us some of the group moves! She was very interactive, was great with requests (whether "please yes" or "definitely no"), and our guests all loved her :) Dream Productions as a whole was great to work with. They were very responsive, very organized, and absolutely affordable!! I couldn't believe all we got with our package!! I will absolutely contact Dream Productions again next time I need a DJ :)

They were great to work with provided us music for both our ceremony and reception. He worked well with all of our other vendors, even our bag piper. Made sure to keep up with our last minute changes, even right up to introduction time for the reception. He had worked previously in both of our venues and helped to make our special day go seamlessly. He went that extra mile to give us a cd with all of our special dance songs.

John was amazing to work with! We found him online through his many great reviews and after meeting him we understood why. He is very knowledgable about DJing and how to keep people on the dance floor. Our dance floor was full all night long! He played all the songs we wanted to hear and was great about taking requests. He was very reasonable in cost considering the quality of service and the special touches with lighting, etc. Would recommend him to anyone getting married!

Shane was awesome! He was the perfect DJ - very professional and attentive to our wishes. He met with us twice beforehand, paid careful attention to what we wanted and what we didn't want and didn't deviate from that at all. He ran the reception perfectly and he had the dance floor packed the entire night. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Dream Productions in general was very good to work with too. They were flexible, had helpful suggestions, were willing to personalize the experience, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable with how the night would go. Their lighting was awesome too!

I found this vendor at a wedding show and I am very thankful I picked them. A lot of DJ services come off as cheesy, over confident or out of touch with current music. John and his team were friendly and helpful. His pricing was outstanding and included uplighting, a copy of the ceremony and reception music on disc which were added bonuses. There were a few glitches with my ceremony song and the dollar dance we had requested never happened. I think some of our older relatives were looking forward to that so that was a bit of a bummer but we honestly didn't even realize it until after the reception was over. Very minor things and over all a great experience with great music.

Dream Productions did an excellent job for our wedding and we would definitely work with them again! DJ Shane was great and so easy to work with. He was very thorough and played all of our songs as requested and kept the party on track. We received numerous compliments on our DJ and were very happy with our choice.

We had DJ Dan. We would highly recommend Dream Productions and DJ Dan. He made our entrance very exciting! We knew most of our guests didn't dance, groom included, but he got us out on the dance floor and made it an amazing night. We had a slow dance as our last song and DJ Dan decided that he couldn't end it on that and played a fast cool song that everyone, and I mean everyone, who was left at the end of the night was dancing. He ended our night in the best way!

Stacey did a GREAT job keeping the party going at our wedding! When I first told my family and friends that we booked a female DJ a lot of people were surprised and somewhat concerned, but after seeing what an AMAZING job she did they were thrilled we chose her! My husband and I loved meeting with her prior to the wedding, and felt confidently that she would do a wonderful job. Plus, they are very affordable! The only aspect of Dream Productions that I did not enjoy was emailing through others to get to my DJ. I would have preferred if they offered separate email addresses. Keep up the great work Stacey!

John was great to work with throughout the wedding planning process. He was flexible with us the night of our reception as we made some last minute changes with the timeline of events but he kept people on the dancefloor and made sure everyone was having a good time. John was our DJ. He was such a nice guy I feel bad writing this review, but I was not happy with our wedding music. They did a great job with the ceremony music although we had two people that did readings during our wedding and you could not hear them very well, but it was OK. During the reception the music lagged a lot. Sometimes there was NO music. Just everyone staring at one another. I often looked over at the DJ area and he wasn't even there! He also threw all of his gear and bags on the floor right by the dance floor so I have them in all my pictures and videos of the first dance, ect. The thing that irritated me the most was that during the consultation I was very specific that there was to be no rap or hip hop music. Well, immediately during the dancing he started in with songs with rap (and dirty lyrics like all rap songs have). Most of our guests were older - none of them danced due to the music choices and as soon as the rap went on there was a mass exodus of guests who went home and the reception ended early - how horrible. We did get a CD of our music at the end of the night with a bunch of songs that I had requested...they were not played though. About a month later we got a recording of our ceremony which was nice to listen to. I guess I should of had my husband say something about the rap, but weddings are so stressful and we didn't really think about it at the time. I was really disappointed about the whole thing and this was by far my least favorite vendor.

We used Dream Productions for our January 1, 2016 wedding. Shane was pleasant to work with prior to the wedding and reception, but screwed up so badly on the night of our event that I truly regret having picked this company to work with. When I expressed my frustrations and concerns to John the following Monday, I was told that I could be given $200 to not post negative reviews and keep my mouth shut. I obviously didn't take the money. Shane managed to lose the microphone and keep my bridal party waiting for their introductions for almost an hour. The speakers screeched and people covered their ears multiple times. No one knew when the cake was being cut because Shane's announcements could not be heard. The fog machine that was supposed to be used for my first dance didn't work and it took the entire event for it to get fixed. My husband and I were only able to use it at the end of the night, after everyone had left. This was a terrible experience and I wouldn't reccomend hiring these people. They will say what you want to hear then treat you like dirt.
