We hired Dream Photo and Video for our engagement party, and they completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, warm, and made us feel so comfortable. They had a perfect blend of creativity and attention to detail, capturing both the big moments and the small, candid interactions that truly made the night special.
The photos are stunning! Every image is beautifully composed. We especially loved how they managed to capture the energy and joy of the event without being intrusive. They were always in the right place at the right time!
They even stayed a little longer than planned to capture a few more key moments, which meant the world to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and will definitely be recommending them to everyone. The best possible experience!
THE DREAM TEAM
We had the best experience with the Dream team. They deserve more than five stars.
My wedding date was around the corner, and I was unsure about having a photographer and a videographer because I don’t like pictures/footage of me. I am not photogenic. I can’t pose, I don’t have good angles, and I feel awkward in front of a camera. I knew I had to move beyond my fears and the only possible way was to find the Dream team.
It was an automatic click after having a fifteen-minute phone conversation with Shiva. She immediately understood my wants and needs, and I received more valuable information from her than anyone else. It became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. I was in search of the best photographers and videographers in town, and I am proud to say that I had found them!
Shiva was always so responsive to the many questions and concerns I had. I could expect a response from her within minutes. Not to mention that she was the only vendor who checked on me daily. No doubt she was as invested as we were in making our wedding a dream wedding.
She created a timeline that was essential to the success of our special day. The timeline detailed the steps to follow throughout the event. It not only managed our time effectively, but it allowed the Dream team to capture all the important moments.
Shiva and Sam work in sync at all times. Sam did an amazing job of posing me in a way that made me feel and look beautiful, natural, and confident. He is extremely knowledgeable, carried great equipment, chose great site locations, and transformed an ordinary wedding into a work of art. Shiva was the best at boosting my confidence.
Further, the videographers Cesar and Rene are talented, professional, cinematic storytelling-gifted individuals. They cared, listened, and were flexible. They did a fabulous job capturing the authentic moments in our day and putting them together to create something magical that we can rewatch and share for years to come.
The dream team is so attentive. I am happy to say that we did it – we navigated the wedding sea smoothly with their helpful guidance. We were guided by true professionals through a process they master to perfection. I now realize that having photographs and videos that last a lifetime are beautiful memories that we will cherish our whole lives.
I wouldn’t take the risk of using anyone other than the best for your big day so that is the reason I recommend the Dream team 110%. They offer more to your pictures and footage than your typical photographers and videographers. The quality of the work is stunning, and the angles and lighting are perfect. They exceeded my wildest expectations.

My husband and I got married at an event venue in Pasadena, TX, and the venue was super interesting - like a western town! We knew that photography would be of the utmost importance, and finding a photographer that understood the venue, the angles, and the lighting was super important to us. Thankfully, Dream Photo & Video was a preferred vendor for this location, and once we saw their work, we knew they were the company to choose. My husband takes photography seriously (even more than me) and ranked hiring a photographer almost above all other vendors (besides the pastor, lol).
Shiva and Sam take a personal approach to their work, which we appreciate and value. From the first meeting with us to the last, and everything in between, their attention to detail was keen, and I could tell they truly cared for us, and the success of our wedding was critical to them. They went above and beyond in every form – there are so many examples, but I will choose two.
First, my husband suffered a severe injury, which postponed our wedding for a year, one month from the original date. It was a horrific time with so much time spent at the hospital. Shiva and Sam made us food and delivered it to our home. I almost cried writing this because none of our other vendors even came close to this level of caring (and not even some friends). It meant the world and showed us we made the right choice.
Second, I was having a hard time with my makeup. I don’t wear that much, so I chose someone who could do a “good” job. I asked Shiva and Sam for some guidance to ensure my makeup would look good in photos, and they offered for me to come over after my trial for their honest opinion and a photo. I am glad I did because the makeup was not up to par with “bridal makeup” and would have looked “cracked” in pictures. We determined I needed someone who could contour, and it helped me choose the right makeup artist.
As for the wedding day itself, Sam and Shiva are a true power couple! They flowed smoothly with each other and were committed to ensuring every shot was captured. When my husband and I viewed the photos with them, we were amazed at how many photos they got of peoples’ expressions, which was such a wonderful surprise, and how they captured so much emotion in single shots. (I cried multiple times, lol.)
By the way, I learned that most wedding photographers ship a USB to their clients or leave it at the venue for them to pick up. Having a personal meeting with them after the wedding was such a personal touch. They made us feel special even though we knew they had many other events happening. We also learned that Sam edits every, SINGLE photo, which is AMAZING! The level of attention to detail is truly outstanding.
I know this is a long review, but sharing our personal experience is important so other couples can consider this when looking at photographers. Photos are forever, and it was indeed a “dream” (pun intended, lol) to work with them. We would hire them again for any significant life events. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! -

Nothing short of AMAZING
I saw a video of a friends wedding on FB year’s ago when me and my now husband were only dating. It moved me so much I knew I had to book them when the time came. Honestly photos and video or SUCH a major part of the wedding you don’t want to cheat yourself of these moments/memories. My husband wasn’t crazy about the price but after seeing it all come together he said himself.. it was worth every penny. Direction was key for us not to look stiff in our poses and I appreciated that. Sam and Shiva caught every moment even ones we weren’t even paying attention to them snapping photos and it came out beautiful. You will absolutely be IN LOVE with the outcome. With Sam and Shiva your special day can literally be relieved over and over in photos and video and not just in your memories.. and I love that. -

When we started looking for our wedding photographer we knew we wanted someone who was professional, flexible, creative, and most importantly someone who’s work was of high quality. After all, the only memories you have once the wedding is over are your photos and video. We met with several photographers but nobody could beat Dream Photo & Video’s obvious quality. Prior to our wedding we met several times to review details and they provided a very helpful timeline. They kept close communication with us as our wedding day approached. Another thing that really stood out was how quickly they returned our photos and video. When they returned the finished product to us it was truly breathtaking! There’s not enough words to express the amazing, top-notch, and high quality work Shiva and Sam delivered to us. They met and surpassed all of our expectations. They captured every detail! I honestly had the best time ever shooting with them! They were so kind and helpful all since the beginning at my first consultation. I took my dog who I’m obsessed with and they were super amazing with her & captured the best footage! I was so happy with my photos I used them for my wedding website and save the dates. Shiva and Sam were extraordinarily professional and absolutely were experienced in guiding the flow of the wedding and of the wedding prep. Shiva made sure that we had our vendors lined up and our schedule set up just right so that the wedding would be perfect. She planned everything out so that at the minute of the start of the contract, they would be full blast taking pictures of every moment of the wedding and capturing it. When we were uncertain about many things (as everyone is with their wedding), Shiva guided us to tell us exactly what to do and what we needed in order to keep going. When we were worried that family was going to take over the pictures, she again reassured us that she has done this for years, and she would wrangle in our family and help us take control of the situation.
Sam's eye for artistic shots and framing the photographs was amazing to watch in action, and his ability to take simple backdrops and situations and turn them into insanely photographic pictures made for amazing candid and awesome albums. The logistical ability of Shiva and Sam were great to have, but their artistic ability (you can see in the pictures in their profile) are the highest quality we could find. The great thing too is that they are *consistent*. Their instagram is very active, and they're constantly uploading new pictures and you can tell that their style is still maintained with no deterioration of quality over the years.
I highly recommend these photographers, they will not leave you disappointed in the slightest. -

We found Sam and Shiva’s portfolio on the Knot app and fell in love with the photos as soon as we saw them, especially the photos of the bride with purple hair, since my hair is always some bright color or another. We did a destination wedding in Houston (we live in DC) and knew that we wanted to spend as much of our wedding budget on photography as possible. This was a second wedding for me and the lesson learned from planning was that photography can make or break the memories of that day. Shiva and I spoke at great length and she really took the time to get to know us as a family. We incorporated an adoption ceremony for our seven year old son into our service and celebration as well and she really understood how important it was to make sure this wasn’t JUST a wedding, but a celebration of our newly formed family. On the wedding day, the photography team was equal parts attentive and unobtrusive. Sometimes it felt like they were doting on all of us and sometimes we didn’t even know they were there. In looking back over the photos, we were surprised by many of them. The day was such a blur, but they captured it, our guests, the scenery, and all of our family’s expressions so beautifully. And the documentary style video was the perfect encapsulation of the wedding for our guests who couldn’t be there. This ended up being especially important for us, as my mom got sick suddenly and couldn’t travel to Texas for the wedding, so when she watched it later with us it was the perfect way for her to feel like she was there. Look... we are not wealthy people, we went cheap on everything else. Modest venue, the least expensive menu, discount dress and suits, accessories from a discount store, basic flowers (just bouquets and corsages)... but we knew that the photographs would be the one thing that would last throughout the ages and we would treasure them forever. And we will. We are nerdy scientific people and I am very interested in how the brain works and how memories are created and stored and altered over time. The brain is remarkable. And photographs, good or bad, can shape memories over time in ways you can’t really fathom. Was it worth nearly half out wedding budget? Hells yes, it was! Would we hire them again or recommend them? Absolutely! In fact, we may do a ten year vow renewal just so we can get more amazing photos. When it comes to photography, more is more... and everything else gets forgotten as long as it’s photographed well. Sam and Shiva do it right and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Let me just start off with how amazing Shiva and Sam are to work with. Their personalities alone will absolutely win you over. The moment you see their talent in pictures or in our case videos you won’t want to look any farther. Their work is just flawless. They capture those moments that are the most heart felt. You get what you pay for and they will not let you down when you invest in them I promise you that. These are YOUR wedding professional photographers and videographers. You only get this day once and you want to make sure your hiring the perfect team to capture it. They come more than prepared with a very detailed time line...you’ll hardly even notice them on the big day they’re on the move making sure they capture every angle. We decided on the video last minute and we didn’t budget for it but they worked with us and let me tell you had we not invested it would have been the biggest regret. I was able to relive the greatest night of my life today and I will forever have that video when I need a flashback to remember! Shiva and Sam y’all are amazing and you have a talent like no other! Thank y’all for being the greatest vendor to work with. You truly went above and beyond! -

To say that we booked DREAM before we even booked the venue, says it ALL! We met with Shiva and Sam and instantly knew they would be the ones who we would entrust with our magical day and it was worth. every. penny! They deeply care for their clients. Shiva kept in contact with us throughout the entire "wedding planning' journey to see what we needed help in etc. Two weeks prior to the BIG day, we met up! Shiva and Sam made an itinerary to give us a visual of what the day would look like; every single photo session was in detail! This made us at ease to know what the day was going to consist of. Day of the wedding: They arrived with great energy and ready to go! They were filled with excitement and as a Bride, it got me fired up! They captured ALL the most amazing moments from details of the chapel to the reception, the wedding party and the great dancing celebration! Not to mention, magical shots of the bride and groom in the greatest moments! The love for photography and videography shines through their work. Their passion for the craft could be seen in each photo that was taken and our video was beyond amazing! Their work is the best we have ever seen, and to top it off they are truly amazing people! Shiva and Sam are so professional and work with any situation that is handed to them and do a beautiful job and are very detail oriented. I picked them to do our wedding photography because their pictures and quality far exceeded any of the other photographers. I highly recommend them for photography and their videography is beautiful as well. I was sick the day of my wedding and they worked with me and made sure I was ok and comfortable the entire time. I would give them 10 stars if I could!! -

Me and my husband choose dream photo & video because for us both having the best and the most caring photographer and videographer matter on our big day. we want it our big day to be captured for the rest of our life, so evertime we look at our pictures and video we can remember this special day. Sam and shiva absolutely captured the most magical photo on our big day. They know when and where to take photos. We have many beautiful breathtaking photo of the important part of our day, either its of us or of our families with us. But that wasnt the only reason why We hired them. I believe some people work just to make money and live a life, but I truly see how much shiva and sam LOVE their job and how passainate they are. They put absolutely so much time and effort with you before and during your day and even after to make sure you are 100 person happy and satisfied with their job. They are such a caring and loving team that from the moment you meet them it feels like you know them for years. They make you feel so comfortable everyime you have a meeting with them. We are truly beyond happy and satisfied with their work and we would %100 recommend them
to any of you lovely people getting married. Trust me when i say when you have a great vendor working for you on your big day you will have 1 less thing out of your mind and be stress free. Marlanda Sent on 11/21/2017Sam and Shiva are the best!!! They photographed our destination wedding in Mexico on 10/13/17. We looked at MANY photographers but instantly fell in love with Dream Photos style and incredibly vivid images! I shopped around after finding them, but was always drawn back to them and their amazing work! It was one of the easiest choices to make throughout the whole process! They went above and WAY beyond to capture our day (even did a mini shoot the day before) and were so easy to work with. My entire family fell in love with these guys and were so impressed at their dedication and professionalism. With all the stress and craziness going on the day of, they made it look so easy and effortless. It was one less thing for me to worry about because it was VERY obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing! We have only received a few images back so far, but from the looks of those 4 photos, we know we will be in love with the rest! Sam and Shiva will always have a special place in our hearts and I'm so thankful that we got to share this amazing experience with them! Their style of photography is so creative, and their pictures are so vibrant! We included an Engagement Photo Session in our package, and I still get compliments on the photos six months later. On our Wedding Day, Sam and Shiva were EVERYWHERE! They captured everything we wanted. They are the sweetest couple, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. We will continue to use them for any photography we need in the future. They really are the BEST!

I know that I would not have such amazing pictures and video if it wasn't for her. She is so creative, detailed, understanding, committed, and strives to provide you the best quality there is on both photography and videography. Shiva, Sam, and the rest of her team are truly unbelievable, she accommodated us with what we asked for and would always respond to any questions or concerns immediately. We had absolutely no worries about anything especially on the BIG day because after our first conversation with her we knew she had everything under control. She makes you feel so comfortable and that's what any bride would want for their special day. We were so eager to get our pictures and video and I must say that we were very impressed.
