We were married at the courthouse but knew we wanted photographs at a later date with our family. We appreciated the communication from Guillermo and Gara leading up to the day. We had older relatives with us and Gara made everyone comfortable and have a great time. We felt the budget was appropriate and received our images in a timely manner. Highly reccommend! -

Personable and reliable
This is our first time taking professional photos together. We both are very and shy in front of the camera and often avoid it as much as possible, but during our engagement photo session, we felt so comfortable. This is all thanks to Gara who not only told us exactly what to do but allowed us to have intimate moments that now we have captured in photographs forever. I cannot thank her enough for her artistic vision and her boldness to get us shots that I didn’t think were possible especially in downtown St. Louis. Furthermore, having a photographer who also identifies as black is what truly made this shot special for us. Someone who understands the shades of color when it comes to my fiancé and I’s different skin tones and how to use the natural light to capture the true tones of our skin. We absolutely love our pictures and so do our family and friends. If you are looking for a personable photographer, and a company who really takes their customers feedback into consideration throughout the entire process then you cannot go wrong with Dreamlight Art Photography. -

Dream Photography Team!
I cannot recommend Guillermo and his highly talented team of photographers enough! Five out of five stars! 10/5 if I could! Rebecca and Gara photographed my October 6th wedding and bypassed my expectations further than I ever imagined possible! Each and every photograph of the hundreds was spectacular! I’m used to one of a bunch being worthwhile. Not here!
You get ONE chance for your wedding photography. There’s no do-over! You won’t go wrong with this dream team!! -

We were very happy with our wedding photos shot by Guillermo. He knew the venue well (The Butterfly House), and as a result was able to find some amazingly beautiful shots. Everything turned out a very high quality at a reasonable price. Overall we would recommend his services, we just have a few small qualms that I am leaving here at the end because we know overall most wedding photographers have great reviews, and sometimes the small negative things can be important in making a decision. These "complaints" only mildly reduced our satisfaction with the final product.
First, Guillermo and his wife (his shooting assistant), are friendly, but not the easiest to work with. They can be a bit disorganized when searching for the "perfect" shot which led to a lot of running back and forth during our pre-ceremony shoot trying to cram everything in. We had pretty standard requests (shots with bride and groom, family, and wedding party), but it still took a full hour and a half out in the sun before the ceremony even began. The duration was planned ahead of time, so it's not like it was a surprise, but in retrospect it could have been much more efficient with more organization. What's more, we filled out this long list of all the specific shots we wanted ahead of time (bride/groom/grandparents, bride/groom/parents, etc.) to ensure everything was covered the day of, which I thought was wonderful; however, the day of the wedding him and his wife didn't check off the list as we went through, so half way through they were asking us which we had and hadn't done and everyone was trying to remember and keep it all straight. I think we got everything in the end but it was definitely an unnecessary stress. Finally, it was a little disappointing that there were almost no shots in the final product from the non-dancing guests at the reception. Nearly everything was of the dance floor, so some of our older relatives didn't make it into any shots. The dancing definitely had some amazing shots so I understand why that was the focus, but we would have preferred at least some time spent with the sitting guests. If you want the rest of the reception covered, not just the dance floor, specify this ahead of time with Guillermo.
To sum up, if your main priority is stunning photography, Guillermo is an excellent choice. However, if you're looking for a completely seamless experience where the photography runs smoothly without much oversight on your part, you might want to consider exploring other photographers within their company.

Perfect for our wedding
Dream Light Art Photography was perfect for us. We only needed 3-4 hours of coverage and they worked with us to make that happen (whereas other wedding photographers may have packages that start at 6 or 8 hour coverage). We worked with Rebecca and Guillermo and they were kind and helpful through the whole process. It is a great price for great service and quality images. Everything went smoothly thanks to Dream Light Art Photography so we definitely recommend them!! -

An amazing experience!
I have nothing but good things to say about this vendor! I worked with Guillermo and Dominique and they were both great. Guillermo was extremely responsive during the planning process and after the fact, and Dominique made sure he got the best lighting and locations for the pictures. It was a sunny and windy day so Dominique had his work cut out for him, but I love how they turned out! I can’t wait to display the pictures for everyone to see! -

We saw that they had great reviews and the pricing was in our range and we are so happy with how Guillermo and Emily Owen’s, our photographer, got all the shots we could imagine we wanted and edited the images perfectly!! We told them the colors we wanted and they delivered exactly what we pictured. Guillermo was easy to speak to and was very informative throughout the process and Emily helped us plan our 8 hour wedding timeline and was able to get all the photos by herself. Before you make a final decision on your wedding day photographer(s), take a second to look at the hundreds of 5-star reviews on Dream Light Art Photography... If that doesn't persuade you, I don't know what will! If there is one thing I could go back and thank myself for, it would be calling Guillermo and booking Dream Light Art to photograph our wedding. They worked with us for year and a half to plan each and every detail, involving both photos and timeline! Through the entire process, Guillermo and Emily were both patient, kind, and equally as excited for our wedding day as we were! Emily was the main photographer on our big day, while Guillermo served as a second photographer during our ceremony. They were both nothing short of creative, upbeat, and amazing. I would recommend Dream Light Art a million times over! When we received our wedding photos back, we were even more confident that we had chosen the right team. We are absolutely OBSESSED with the photos and cannot wait to hang them all over the house. You can tell they put countless hours of time, passion and detail in the photos. Amazing and wonderful

The Most Beautiful Pictures
I cannot say enough good things about Dream Light Art! Rebecca was our primary shooter and Gara was our secondary shooter and they were both wonderful. All of our pictures turned out so beautiful, I don't know how I'm going to narrow it down and pick favorites! We got back over 1500 pictures in just over a month, which was such a quick turnaround time and every single image is beautiful. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I would highly recommend them to anyone! -

Guillermo and Warda photographed our wedding this past October. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. The pictures were absolutely beautiful. Guillermo met with us beforehand to make sure every detail was sorted out. On the day of, he was so kind and patient. He even rode the party bus with us to get as many pictures as possible. Dream light was a great company to work with for our wedding. Starting from the beginning, Rebecca did a wonderful job shooting out engagement pictures and they came out nice. Guillermo was who we communicated most with for the planning of our wedding. We had to reschedule twice because of covid, but he was easy and flexible with doing so. Gara was the lead photographer for our wedding day and she was absolutely outstanding. She exceeding all expectations! She brought an assistant in addition to the second photographer. Gara was energetic, friendly, and assertive when needed but she never imposed and was never rude or demanding. She has wonderful ideas for pictures and poses and allowed everyone to have fun while doing it. She is a hard worker; laying on the ground for some shots, on her knees, up in a tree, in the bushes, whatever it took!!! Nora was the second photographer and she was also amazing. She was great at making the little ones look at the camera and smile or laugh. Great experience and Guillermo, who did the editing and color processing, did an incredible job and all of our images turned out amazing. Great quality! -

I am so happy with my wedding photos from September 2021! Rebecca was my primary photographer and Gara was a secondary with Guillermo doing all of the photo editing after the date. The day of team was fantastic to work with - we set a schedule via email prior to the date since I was coming in from out of town and both photographers were timely and very professional throughout. They were also a good balance to each other, each with different ideas about lighting and location - they helped capture some AMAZING moments! Despite rain, my photos and all of the colors are fantastic because of the way the images were taken and the way Guillermo had them edited! I would absolutely choose this group again (not to mention how affordable they are and how they will work with your budget to get you exactly what you want & need!)! -

💖This is the photographer for you! Look no further! I can't recommend Dream Light Art Photography enough. Guillermo is so responsive and accommodating. His skills with editing and color processing are unparalleled. Rebecca Haas has such attention to detail and is exquisite with posing direction. Rebecca even went 20 minutes over on her time for shooting our engagement session, ensuring that she included all of the poses I sent her in email attachments.
You get all the rights to your images, 3 different sizing formats (for social media sharing, printing, wall prints, etc.), file shares via a dropbox, and a flashdrive with all versions of your photos. They absolutely give you it all, with quality, at a VERY affordable price!
We had a bad experience with a previous photographer and lost out on a HUGE deposit. Don't let DLA be your redemption photographer - choose DLA first! Rebecca Haas was our engagement photographer, and Gara will be our wedding photographer. 💕 -

Easy to work with for the BEST quality photos
Absolutely incredible all around! Guillermo and Rebecca did the photos for my sister's wedding in 2017 and did such an amazing job that I based my wedding budget completely around having them. They are so great to work with and the photos turn out absolutely stunning every time! Being 2020, they were so easy to work with schedule changes as we had to postpone and cancel our reception due to covid and international travel. They have captured my favorite photos and moments from both our engagement and wedding party photo shoots! I wouldn't go with anyone else if you want the perfect pictures to remember! -

My husband and I are still receiving rave reviews about our amazing wedding pictures from all of our family and friends. Since we got married during the pandemic, we had a small outdoor ceremony. Guillermo was punctual, professional, and had our best interests at heart. He had met with us months in advance to review pricing, view his photography work, and answer all of our questions. The lighting in our pictures had a majestic quality to them and we looked great! Guillermo really took the time to ensure we were satisfied with our pictures and spent hours developing and refining them for excellent quality! The splendid usage of light and color was beyond amazing! How do I start? About a year ago, I began the search for a photographer for my September wedding. I found Dream Light Art's page on this platform and noticed that they had prominently displayed a queer couple in their portfolio. I had seen so few of these that I had to reach out. The response I received was the sort of ally-ship that the LGBTQ community craves. Guillermo was genuine in his excitement to participate in our wedding and quickly became a friendly correspondence in the hectic planning of an STL wedding from far away. The planning process with Guillermo and Rebecca was so easy and they were both so communicative. On our wedding day, we laughed so much, threw a few audibles that led to incredible photos, and felt so special. My wife and I are so grateful for the images we received. I lost the thumb drive Guillermo sent me and not only did he send me a new one, but because it was right before Thanksgiving, he uploaded everything to a Dropbox so we could share with family over the holidays. If we lived closer to STL, we would for sure ask him to do a maternity shoot with us if we were so blessed. Thank you, Guillermo! Thank you, Rebecca! -

From the moment we started working with Dream Light Art, my husband and I knew we were in good hands. Guillermo and Rebecca, our photographer, met with us several times before our wedding to go over pricing, show their portfolios, help us create a shot list, and learn about us as a couple. On our wedding day, Rebecca managed to capture every image we wanted, despite a tight timeline and a large wedding party. When my husband and I received our breathtaking photos a few weeks later, we were in awe of the high quality, attention to detail, and how they perfectly captured the magic of our special day. Now, the only thing my husband and I have to do is figure out our favorites! With all the gorgeous photos we have to choose from, it won't be easy! -

The best choice we could have made!
I found Dream Light Art here on the knot and I liked their style so I contacted them to set up a time to go over everything and get to know them. It was a holiday weekend so I didn't expect to hear back for a few days so you can imagine my surprise when I got a message from Guillermo almost immediately even though he was out of town with family. My fiance and I along with my parents (my father is also a professional photographer) and daughter, met with Guillermo and Rebecca a few weeks later and looked at their portfolios, info and went over exactly what kind of overall look we were hoping for. They spent hours with us at a Bread Co. to make sure they answered all our questions and that they understood what we were wanting. We left the appointment feeling like we had just had a fun evening with friends and that they knew exactly how to achieve our photographic wedding goal. My photographer father was impressed with their knowledge and experience which also put my mind at ease. These days so many people buy a camera and a computer and set up a page to become instant photographers with no education or experience and that was not what we were looking for. We wanted experienced professionals and that is exactly what Guillermo and Rebecca are. We paid the deposit within days of our first meeting and felt completely comfortable in our decision. Part of our package included an engagement session with Rebecca, we were absolutely blown away by her creativity and openness to try different ideas. The finished product was beyond what we could have hoped for! There wasn't a single "meh" shot out of all 200 or more. About a month out from our "I, do" I had another brief meeting with Rebecca to finalize specific shots we wanted and go over the day of timeline. The morning of our wedding they arrived on time and ready to work their magic. Rebecca captured all the moments with me, my mom, grandmas, daughter, flower girl and bridesmaids. In all the chaos she was a calming presence and was able to make sure she got all the images that meant the most to me. While all that fun was happening, Guillermo was with all the men, capturing moments with my father and fiance and his father, All the groomsmen and the little guys in the wedding party. Once it was go time, Guillermo and Rebecca met at the ceremony site to capture our big day from all angles. They are true professionals...Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, experienced. We truly feel that selecting Dream Light Art was the best decision we could have made and the best money we spent for our day. The stunning images they captured will be cherished memories for our family for years to come. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience we had with them. They really do go above and beyond to ensure your happiness! It truly feels like they are our friends now. I reccomend them with my whole heart! -

Absolutely wonderful!
We had Dream Light Art take our Engagement and Wedding photos, and I LOVE THEM!! Rebecca was our photographer, and she is so calm and really let us do our thing and gave us some hints along the way. Danielle Sent on 06/13/2018My wedding was in Fredricktown, MO which is about 2 hours away from St. Louis. My husband is also station in Virginia, so all of our conversations were over the phone or via email. And trying to plan a wedding 14 hours away is DIFFICULT!
But I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to do my photos, he was very kind, and helpful! I was really bad about contacting him, and giving him info because I was so busy in my personal life, but he made it work! He was able to get onto my pinterest and pull pictures from there to make sure we did all the photos I wanted. His assistant was so helpful too! She made sure at we were staying on schedule, and letting upme know which pictures we still needed to take, or who was next, and so on!
I was running an hour late to my venue, but he went ahead and took the time to look around, and take pictures of the venue and all our dresses hanging up. He did not waste anytime, as soon as I got to the venue we started shooting! From that moment until it was time for him to leave, he was taking pictures.
The pictures are beautiful, I can’t just pick one that’s my favorite, because there’s so many!
He is WORTH it! -

Jessica Sent on 04/08/2018Let me start out buy saying the church I got married at was being difficult! They where trying to pack up and kick us out not even an hour after the ceremony(which they told us prior we could use the church till our reception). Anyway Guillermo and his assistant work so hard to make sure we got wonderful pictures they did not give up! Even after I was tired, annoyed and seconds from a break down! They ran around the church and found some amazing shots. To be honest I did not have high hopes in getting any worth wild shots, and they proved me wrong!!!! Oh, did I mention it was raining too! The price was more then fair some places where asking 3 times as much! My wedding day was made so much better by having them there! Thanks so much you guys are amazing!!!

Nicole Sent on 01/31/2018Guillermo was the photographer at our wedding. We absolutely LOVE our photos! He took such a wide variety, and we have them ALL (almost 1800)! It is obvious that he takes great pride in his work and treats every client/couple like they are the most special couple in the world! Every meeting was productive, and Guillermo took as much time as needed to make sure we were happy and satisfied with the product. I highly recommend Dream Light Art Photography for upcoming weddings. The price is reasonable, and the quality is spectacular! Two and a half years later we are still enjoying our wedding pictures and printing new photos to hang on our walls. We have received so many compliments on our photos. They are absolutely beautiful!

Samantha Sent on 10/23/2017My fiance, Matt, found Guillermo and Dream Light Art Photography on the internet and after we looked through several of his prior engagement photo shoots, we just knew we had to book him ASAP.
It was clear through his work that Guillermo takes pride in his work and yet at the same time, he is patient and listens to what his customers want. He is also one of the most reasonably priced photographers around. The prices are so fair and in the end it is absolutely worth it!
Guillermo helped my fiance and I through our shoot as we are not the most photogenic people. He made us feel so comfortable and made us laugh which helped loosen us up. Guillermo is also good with his time and always had excellent recommendations on poses or places to shoot and capture the best shot. We are so excited to see what he does for our upcoming wedding this weekend.
We highly recommend his work, you will not be disappointed and he is worth every penny! -
