  Gorgeous Custom Engagement Ring!

  I have been using Dransfield for years for repairs and purchases, so it was a no brainer for my now husband and I to use them for my custom engagement ring and resizing of my heirloom wedding band and right hand ring. Rose was awesome to work with from start to finish and I get so many compliments on my custom ring.

  My fiance and I took my grandmother's engagement ring into Dransfield Jewelers to be resized. They told me it typically took 2-3 weeks to get rings resized, but that they understood I probably wanted to wear it ASAP since we had just gotten engaged and that they would get it back as soon as they could. It took under two weeks. I honestly can't describe how happy/emotional I was when they gave the ring back to me. Not only was the ring perfectly sized, they had also removed some of the dark spots/imperfections on the ring that I had figured were just a product of old age and that other jewelers had not be able to fix. It looks absolutely beautiful. I still can't get over what a great job they did. I would recommend them to anyone!

  My fiance purchased my engagement ring from Dransfield and we will definitely be going back for our wedding bands! He said that he loved the store and its people from the moment he walked in the door. He said they weren't the salesmen of big box stores, but instead were nice, not pushy at all, and worked diligently with him to help him find the exact ring he was looking for. They spent a large amount of time going through settings with him, then ordered it and a selection of stones. He got to sit in the back with the owner for several hours trying each stone, seeing the differences in each, and the owner helped him choose the perfect combination of diamonds, even though it wasn't the most expensive. They even worked with him on the price until they both felt comfortable. I am in love with my ring and so is everyone else who sees it. My fiance and Dransfield did a fantastic job and we will be back very soon!!

  Just Bad for Everything

  I took my moms engagement ring, her diamond from it and wanted to make men's pinky ring with it in the center and diamonds around it. I was told a little over 1200 then after a couple weeks waiting for the sketch and calling and asking several times for it. I got a price starting almost 1600 up to 4000. I said I would get my own diamonds to go around it, you just do the gold and labor, then got a price of 1770, higher than the lowest price with diamonds. I brought a ring to be appraised and the owner said it was a little over a 1.18 cts and I1 and I2 diamonds. He told my wife you pay for what you get and she just bought this for my birthday. He still didn't do the appraisal. I took it to another place that has been in business over 66 years, they did the appraisal in 1 day for me and it was 1.84 cts and SI1 SI2 and G/H in color appraisal at 4665. This place is a ripoff and the owner is a jerk. Really made my wife feel bad. She felt so much better after we got it actual appraised. I took it to another jeweler just to give it a quick look and they said the appraisal looked to be correct. Don't waste your time or money.
