  Book mike now!

  If you are having a wedding and considering Mike Dragon, look no further!! Firstly he has a STELLAR value. One of the best out there. Secondly, I had a lot of requests (many of them strange, and perhaps even obnoxious) for how I wanted my photos to look and what I wanted them to include (or exclude) and Mike made it all happen so seamlessly! He is professional and fun, and funny, and he listened to both my husband and I's requests. He is great at getting the job done but also feeling the vibe of the moment. He captured moments I didn't even think to ask for and now those photos are so dear to me, I couldn't imagine not having them. He is very flexible and very considerate! He's super chill and can work with all types of people. If you are thinking about booking Mike, don't walk-- RUN to do so! Would 100% book again, cannot recommend highly enough!!

You certainly had some unique requests but I feel as though I tried my best to include the venue but like also not include the venue and also NO PHOTOS OF THE RED WALL! hahaha I crept in a couple times but I turned those black and white so you didn't have to see it! hahahaha I'm glad you guys liked everything. I was happy to be a part of it all!

  Fantastic Photographer

  Mike is just fantastic at what he does. He's so personable and a great guy to know. He did our engagement photos, wedding, and will be doing my grad school portraits next month. Highly recommend!

  A wedding to remember

  Mike did a great job as photographer at our wedding. He planned well ahead and ensured that all photos were taken as discussed and then some! Photos are beautiful from before the ceremony through the reception - he caught all the best moves on the dance floor! We highly recommend Mike as your photographer for any event - he was the best!

  They brought my vision to life

  Mike Dragon and his team captured my wedding perfectly. All the thoughts I had in my head of pictures I wanted and styles I liked were brought to life. Mike fit right into our crazy bunch and helped make our day so special. I would recommend Dragon Studio to any and everyone!

  No Regrets. Wonderful experience.

  Not only was Mike reasonably priced but he is thorough. My wedding was a bit stressful and I'm not really into a fashion shoot setting so when the day came, and I was a complete nervous wreck, he was comforting and flexible. He even took time to help calm me down. The bouquets went missing at the last minute and volunteered to go find them...and came through :). All the precious moments were captured perfectly without feeling intrusive. My photos are beautiful and I will cherish them forever. He added a bunch of little touches as well. On top of the excellent communication throughout the process, when my flash drive came it was over the top. On my doorstep was a box, full of green paper shreds with a canvas bag inside. Inside the bag was a metal tin, wrapped in leather, filled with moss. Inside the tin was a carved wooden flash drive with a magnetic cover. My wedding was all leather and moss and rustic wood and (although it may have been a coincidence) I felt that the special touch was very meaningful and proved his professionalism and care to the very last detail. I cannot say enough nice things about Mike and if I had to do it all again, I'd hire him without a second thought.

  Best photographer in Hampton Roads

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike Dragon!! He truly did such an incredible job capturing the best day of my life. Every photo is seriously amazing, and he got them back to me in what I thought was record time! There is no one else that I could even imagine having as our photographer to capture this amazing day. I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a wedding photographer!

  Mike is the true definition of perfection! His presence and his work is unmatched. Anything I asked for he delivered and more. He played an important role in the my experience as a bride.   The dragon is amazing

  We had a mini destination wedding and I didn’t know any vendors in Virginia Beach, Va. When I was given a list of photographers I did an immediate Instagram check, there was only ONE photographer I wanted. I kept being told to have backup options but a backup wasn’t an option. From our first phone call, I knew Mike was OUR photographer. He listened to everything and had amazing suggestions. He was so friendly and easy going as if he was a long time fiend. When we got our photos back I immediately teared up with joy. Despite Mother Nature preventing us from our “perfect” backdrop…..the beach, Mike gave us our perfect wedding photos. I’m already thinking of more reasons to hire him again. There are good photographers, but there is only one Mike “The Dragon”

  Surpassed Expectations

  Mike Dragon brought our wedding to life in a way that I couldn't even believe! We had a simple event, but through the eye of his lens was captured the most spectacular of images. His fun personality and expert experience gave a calming fluidity to the entire day, and having him there was the best decision we could have ever made. The photos speak for themselves!!!

The lighting and the ability he has to 'capture the moment' is like I have never seen before... and I am a photo freak! :-) The bride and groom both said the pictures came out better than they ever thought possible. Mike is a professional and went about taking photos during the preparations, ceremony, and reception so seamlessly that we hardly knew he was there. I can not express how grateful we are to have these memories captured for years to come. Dragon Studio has my highest regard and without hesitation recommend him for your wedding or any event that needs a truly professional photographer.

From the first meeting, we knew Mike was the perfect addition to an awesome team that made our wedding possible. We received the pictures promptly afterwards and cried tears of joy reviewing them and reminiscing on our incredible day. Nothing was missed and the quality was beyond our imagination.

  Working with Mike from Dragon Studio was great! He was extremely easy to work with and easy going. He always kept us up to date on what was going on and what he needed from from. He was very flexible and accommodating on payments and the photos we wanted. I had quite a few of guests at my wedding comment on the fact that they noticed he was always looking for a photo opportunity and he was never just standing around! Our picture came out great! The amount and different pictures he had taken were great. I highly recommend Dragon Studio for your wedding.

  Beautiful Work, Exceptional Service

  After all of the time Mike was forced to spend with us, I feel like he is more like a family friend then just our wedding photographer. (whether he likes it or not :) ) With delays caused by weather, having multiple shoots, and the added COVID issues, Mike still made sure we got everything we wanted and needed. From shooting pictures on the hottest day of the year, to shooting late into the night to capture our dream engagement pictures... Mike was able to accommodate the postponement of our original ceremony and was able to attend our intimate ceremony on our original day (in May) and still managed to accommodate us during his vacation for our rescheduled day. (in July) Not to mention all the pictures came out AMAZING!!
  
  Mike and Misty are gems, if you're looking for someone to help you create something unique and inspiring Dragon Studios is the way to go...!!

  Amazing Wedding Photographer

  I was shocked by the pictures Mike took and so were all of my guests. People I barely know have asked for links to our pictures because so many people have raved about them. I loved that Mike captures moments as they are and does little editing. I look out our pictures at least once a week because I love them so much! You will be ecstatic with his work, I recommend a thousand times over!

  Our wedding day captured like a fairytale!

  Mike is not only one of the best photographers I have ever seen; his professionalism and attention to detail goes beyond words. After the wedding, I had several guests come up to me to let me know how much they enjoyed interacting with Mike. He was not only able to recreate our beautiful day in photos; but also made an impact on our guests as they were so impressed by his sincere personality. If you need a photographer for your wedding, you have come to the right place!!!! He is the best in my book. We spoke to several photographers before booking with Mike and were immediately captivated by his art and very friendly personality. Mike- you are the best!!!

  Wonderful photos

  Mike was great! Both our wedding and engagement photos turned out amazing. Mike was very fun to work with and fit right in, not making anything feel forced or awkward. Mike was able to pick up on our personalities very quickly and we felt that our photos reflected that. We can not wait to use him in the future.

  We LOVE our Wedding Photos!!!

  Mike Dragon is AMAZING!! We absolutely love our pictures! He captured everything! He was so easy to work with and was so friendly & fun! All of our bridal party commented on how much they loved him! Our wedding pictures are beautiful! He's so creative and made our wedding day memories so special for us. I just want to look at our pictures over and over again. Mike is a truly exceptional photographer and I highly recommend him! When we first got engaged, I called him and I knew immediately I wanted him to photograph our big day. Best decision ever!! Thank you, Mike, for everything and for making our wedding day so special!!

  Hiring Dragon Photography was one of the best choices we made!

  I would highly recommend Dragon Studios to ALL of my friends. Mike made us feel so comfortable and special on our wedding day and really listened to what we wanted and did not want. He was very attentive of when we needed to take a little breather throughout the night, and knew when to step back. His personality is so calming and kind that it made my wedding day that much LESS stressful. He worked extremely well with all of my other vendors. I can't wait to see how the pictures turned out, I am sure they are amazing!

  Working with Dragon Studio was one of the best decisions that we made! As soon as we met Mike, we knew that he would bring something special to our wedding day. He was fun, easy to work with, and quick to respond to any questions. Unfortunately, Mike had to leave our wedding early due to illness. Mike made sure that we still had two professional photographers to finish capturing our wedding day. Even though we were sad to see Mike leave, we had an absolute blast with Misty and Matt. The final photographs were above and beyond our expectations. We are proof that even if that worst case scenario happens, you will never be disappointed with choosing Dragon Studio. We are so thankful to be able to relive our perfect day with such beautiful memories!
