The best dj in the game!

There aren't enough words to express our gratitude and love for Dan. He listened to exactly what we wanted, provided helpful tips, and gave us the most PERFECT playlist. My husband and I had the time of our lives, as did our guests.

A little background about our day: We had to postpone our original date due to a COVID exposure within 2 weeks of our wedding day. Not only were we devastated, but our original DJ wasn't available for our new date. Dan was our saving grace - he helped us find a renewed excitement for our new date.

Shortly after we were married, we found out we were pregnant. After Dan found out, he sent us a book to read to our sweet girl! I mean, what other DJ does that?! Dan genuinely cares for his clients - before, during, and after the wedding day. We just hope he is still in the game when it is time for our daughter to get married!!

Transform your wedding into something you never imagined

Planning a wedding/party can be exhausting. When we started our planning we didn't have much direction, especially with the entertainment and DJ. We received a referral to Dan and that's when we never looked back. Dan's level of engagement and professionalism starts with his communication and initial sit down's to understand who you are, who your family is and who your friends are. He actively listens to your every want/need and then transforms that into reality. We wanted a party. We got a party. Something I'm very thankful for is Dan's ability to read a dance floor and adapt on the fly. Our party started out solid but nothing insane. From there about 65% of our guests went outside to smoke cigars and we completely lost the dance floor. The music changed, the vibe changed but most importantly, Dan caught on and adapted. When we all came back inside, we had 65 minutes to turn it up and once again, Dan adapted and turned our dance floor into complete insanity. I couldn't be happier with how things turned out and I'm very thankful that Dan was able to adapt on the fly. My two pieces of advice are to hire Dan and hire Dan. If you don't hire Dan, you're making the wrong decision. My last piece of advice is to hire Dan. Wedding vendors don't always meet expectations. Very rarely do they exceed expectations. Dan and DBQ Entertainment are on a whole another level than meeting or exceeding expectations. We grew to love Dan and I don't mean that in a cliché sense. Our love for Dan is real and what he was able to bring to our wedding day was nothing short of spectacular.

The Best DJ

As an owner of an event venue in Fort Worth, I see a lot of DJs in my space. The second I got engaged I knew I wanted Dan as my DJ! Dan is incredible, he takes time to sit down and discuss your music likings, what you want played the day of your wedding and what you don't want played! He truly cares about this couples! He sang as guests were arriving to our ceremony, he has a gorgeous voice. He also helped us cut down songs for our first dance, father/daughter and mother/son. He kept our dance floor PACKED the all night and the way he mixed our music was unbelievable! We received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS about how awesome, badass and amazing our DJ was! You will not be disappointed booking Dan as your DJ! He is truly one of the best DJ's in DFW!

If you make one decision today, BOOK DAN!

What can I say – Dan is the MAN! Dan is one of the most hard-working DJs in the wedding industry. He absolutely went above and beyond in every capacity to make sure we had the most amazing day. He took several hours to sit down and get to know my husband and I as a couple, along with asking questions about our families, our wedding party, and our guests. He learned about our likes and dislikes for music and took notes on specific moments that we knew were important to us throughout the night. By doing so, he was able to MC the reception without forgetting any names or other hiccups and still allowing the night to flow into an unbelievable dance party. As soon as Dan opened the dance floor, it was a NON-STOP party the entire night. Dan is the best hype man, kindest friend, and a wedding vendor you definitely want in your corner. Thank you for EVERYTHING Dan, we are so grateful for you!

Dan was FANTASTIC as our wedding DJ. He was very patient and met with me to talk through what kinds of music I wanted at the reception. His musical knowledge was impressive, and I could name one song, and he'd instantly know what sorts of other songs I had in mind. He also did a great job as a master of cermonies during the reception. The lighting was PERFECT. I cannot say enough great things about him.

Dan is the man! He is an amazing DJ and entertainer who is full of advice and humor. My husband and I met up with him twice before our wedding day so he could get to know us more and understand all of the different personalities attending our wedding. He performed perfectly: the music, timeline, and, announcements were just what the crowd needed at each point in time. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night, and, best of all, my husband and I were able to dance the night away with our guests!

Dan was the best thing at our wedding...we are still getting compliments. He was the singer/DJ/host/master of ceremonies and everything in between. He really got to know us as a couple and made our wedding all about us. He is the perfect addition to any event to really hit it out of the park. I would recommend him to anyone planning a party!! Best DJ out there!!!

I have experienced the Dan Quinn show at several corporate and charity functions over the years, as well as more intimate cafe-type settings, and without fail, he always brings it! Dan offers something - a LOT of something - for young, old and everyone in between. It is obvious Dan really loves what he does, and his natural talent, years of experience and sheer passion for entertaining, insure that everyone else has as much fun as he does! I highly recommend Dan Quinn Band!

This was the 2nd year in a row that we had Dan DJ our Company Christmas Party! He was back because of the overwhelming request we had from all of the employees, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves both last year and this year again. I cannot recommend Dan enough for whatever type event you are having! I can tell you already that he has been requested to be back for our Christmas Party next Year!

The best of the best! Dan ensured our day was flawless. Leading up to our wedding, Dan took the time to get to know myself And Tommy on a personal level to really ensure we would have the best wedding.
Dan took the initiative to work with our vendors and coordinate with our venue so we didn’t have to worry about it.
He controlled the timeline flawlessly to ensure smooth transitions and made sure no one left the dance floor.
For the best wedding ever- you need to have DQB entertainment.

From the first time I spoke to Dan, I just knew I was going to end up picking him. Before I even hired him, he drove out to the venue to check it out and gave his opinions on where he could set up and how It would all go down. Having a 100 other things to do, gettting a DJ who knew his stuff and had complete confidence in himself and his abilities made one less thing I had to worry about. (Also our meeting with him was out on a boat in Lake Lewisville I mean can that get any better for a meeting place?) --Come the day of the wedding. Wow. He delivered. He was fun, entertaining and played the jams until we called it quits. He worked with the mood of the room and switched to what the crowd needed at that time. He's our man whenever we need another DJ party!

My wife and I were so thrilled and completely satisfied with choosing Dan to perform at our wedding reception! Although we do not typically hire entertainment, I can personally say that Dan does it the right way. Below are some reasons why you should choose Dan as your entertainer.

First, Dan was VERY professional and personable. We met with him months before our date and he was mostly interested in getting to know us and our interests before we ever began discussing songs we wanted. He checked in multiple times leading up to our date to make sure everything was ready to go.

Second, Dan is extremely adaptable. We were expecting 150-200 at our reception, but we had many people cancel (it was Mother's Day/college graduation weekend) so our total number barely reached 100. We had planned to have Dan play some exciting songs such as "Shout" and your other typical wedding songs in anticipation of having a large number of people. When time was winding down, Dan approached me and asked if we still wanted to play "Shout", because the crowd had died down a little bit and everyone was chatting and drinking rather than dancing. He plays songs according to how the crowd reacts, instead of playing straight from a playlist and letting it play through.

Third, he also plays very well live. I cannot tell you how many people came up to me during and after the reception to say something like "Wow, he's doing a really good job!" and more. My father, a musician by hobby and majored in music in college, said Dan was fantastic.

Please consider Dan for your wedding. He met and exceeded all of our expectations and he is a wonderful guy. Thanks Dan!

Dan did an amazing job helping our company celebrate 50 years! He did his homework and integrated company milestones as he took us through the decades with the popular hits. Our group is 75% men and he was able to get folks on the dance floor. Everyone had a great time. Will definitely keep him in mind for future events. Thanks for a great event, Dan!

Dan was an amazing DJ. I couldn't be happier with the service my husband and I received at our reception. He read the crowd so well that there were no awkward moments. He dealt well with unexpected surprises from guests. His music selection was very well matched to what we described our guests would enjoy. His acoustic set was outstanding and even managed to get people out on the floor when they finished eating. The songs we requested to be performed acoustically for our special dances turned out beautifully. We were extremely happy with our night and Dan was a huge part of that. We would definitely hire Dan again for another party.

Dan did a fantastic job at our wedding. Seeing as we had young kids he edited the music perfectly for us and had people from 2 years of age to 60 years of age dancing the night away. He does a great job of switching out a song when it's time and keeps up with the whole MC Responsibility really well. If you book DJ Dan you can rest assured that you don't have a thing to worry about... He works hard for you prior to the event and all the way until the last person leaves.

Dan did a wonderful job at our party. Not only did he sound great but he also was very friendly with everyone of all ages during the performance and on breaks. He has a great compilation of tunes and can mix it up as needed for different age groups. This was for our senior's graduation party. We really enjoyed his performance.

We used Dan's DJ services for our daughter's birthday party. To say that we were pleased and to say that he did an excellent job would be an understatement. Dan was well-prepared, professional, polite, and patient. He did a fantastic job keeping all of the guests involved and having fun throughout the event and the evening. It was very nice to see someone take pride in the work he provided, and his preparation and efforts were evident from the guests' response. The music choices were great, the interaction with the crowd was perfect, and the performance far exceeded our hopes and expectations (which admittedly were high). We will certainly use Dan again for future events and will have no reservation or pause recommending him to others. He made a great night significantly better, and the attendees are still talking about how much fun the party was and how "cool" the DJ was days after the event. That is the mark of a job well done!

I cannot begin to say how amazing Dan was for our High School prom the other night, he brought his A game and gave me and my senior class a night to remember, there was 0 negative feedback and he kept the crowd happy and into all the music!! I will use Dan for years to come when I need DJ's for big parties and my Wedding! He is amazing and defeats all competition, 10/10 and is such a wonderful individual, very fun, and a class act guy!
I recommend him for any event with no hesitation!

You can not possibly find a better band/DJ in Texas! Dan Quinn is the ideal performer for your event. He played both an acoustic set and a DJ set at our wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better show. Every single one of my guests raved about him! He had people on the dance floor from the second the music started until the very last song! He set up three different sites (ceremony, reception, and dance floor) so the guests were able to get the full musical experience throughout every part of our event. We really could not have asked for anything more! He even helped us with out timeline so that our wedding flowed easily and without interruption. You really need to book him for your event - it'll be the best decision you make!

DQB provides literally everything you need! He worked with my sister to play the guitar for her while she sang during our ceremony, then walked over the patio to perform an hour long live set for cocktail hour. He MC'd all the events of the evening and DJ'd the dance party like the best of them. I emailed him some changes to our flow of events 2 days before the wedding and he didn't bat an eye. he took it in stride and never missed a beat all night. He truly is a one man band and made our day absolutely magical!!!

Dan was great! He definitely was a big part of making a success of our wedding celebration. With everything else we had to worry about we didn’t have to worry about Dan—he showed up early, got set up and performed exactly what we wanted him to. He is definitely a professional.
We asked Dan to perform while the guests were being seated and many guests complimented the performance. In addition, we wanted a special song for our processional and Dan learned it and performed it flawlessly.
We are very happy Dan was a part of our big day and definitely would recommend him to others.

Seriously Dan Quinn is absolutely amazing, and we loved working with him! He really gets to know the bride/groom and understanding of wedding guests to have a perfect line up of songs. Dan performed at our company's open house party. He is very flexible, easy to work with, and goes with the flow. We had great communication leading up to the event to ensure that needs on both sides were met. I would definitely recommend Dan for a wedding or other type of event if you want a laid back, professional entertainer with an array of popular songs in his bag.

Dan is a true entertainer! We hired him to do both acoustic (guitar and singing) as well as some D.J.ing. He had a great mix of music in his repertoire: original, current, vintage, and even accommodated some last minute music requests from our guests. He was professional and worked well with our auctioneer (whom he had never met). We all had a wonderful night singing, dancing mingling, and it was in large part due to him and his musical talents and his ability to read his audience. Highly recommend him for a wedding, private party, fundraiser or anytime you want a fun musician at your event!

Dan Quinn is the best. I am a musician that plays for a lot of weddings and I've heard quote a fee good DJs. But, none come close to how great Dan is. He played the songs I requested once I had arrived for dinner so that I actually got to hear my music!! The transitions between songs was very tasteful and smooth. After eating dinner and greeting the guests, I literally danced for 3 hours and didn't sit down until everything was finished. (He was there for 4 hours) The dance floor was almost always full. He mixed some oldies with newbies which made everyone happy. One of my favorite moments was when he played "I Don't Dance" and it ended up being me and my Granddad alone on the dance floor.. and then joined by my Grandma. There were so many spontaneous moments that we will never forget. He made our night so special and fun, and even joined the after-party at the hotel bar! He also made us a very special video from all of the different shots / video clips he took and sent it to us that night. Dan has a ton of energy btw! If you want a DJ who will make you feel comfortable and excited all at the same time, have Dan Quinn at your wedding!!!

Dan Quinn was an amazing DJ. He successfully engaged the crowd and played almost all of our requested music. He also made a really cool video of snippets of our wedding, then pieced them together into what will surely be a timeless keepsake for us. I would highly recommend Dan!

Dan is an AMAZING musician, we only met twice before the Wedding but after our first meeting I knew I could trust him to make the night one to remember. Our Wedding was mostly Spanish Speakers and He took the time to greet our guests, crack some jokes and even sang a few tunes in Spanish! HE was always available for questions or a walk through at the venue. Was very punctual and set up and break down was quick. He helped set the mood what we wanted it to be at the ceremony and reception. He is creative, has a great stage presence and extremely talented. My family still compliments me for allowing him to play at our wedding.

Dan Quinn is an incredible performer and entertainer. My wife and I had seen him perform several times, and decided it was a no brainer to fly him in to our wedding, even though we got married in New Jersey. With both live music and DJ skills, Dan went above and beyond to put together a fantastic program for us- from the more sophisticated cocktail hour to the end of the evening with all 200 of our guests on the dance floor. He went above and beyond to coordinate with the venue staff, and to suggest details we hadn’t even thought of, He made our wedding amazing to everyone who attended, and customized the show to fit what we wanted. Even several months after, we still get comments about the live music and entertainment and how great of a celebration we had. My aunt has already booked Dan for my cousin’s wedding after hearing him at ours, so we’re looking forward to seeing him again in the near future. If you book Dan, get ready for a fantastic party!

Dan Quinn made our event exceptional with his vocals, DJ skills and as our MC. He is professional and knows what he is doing so we didn't have to worry about it. Highly recommend Dan Quinn "One Man Band" for any event that you want to be the best.

I am not exaggerating when I say that Dan really made our reception. He and Kristin sang acoustically for the first half through cocktail hour and dinner, giving us that live music ambience that we wanted. Dan went above and beyond when helping us select our song list and creatively incorporated my husband's love of classic rock into our reception while still maintaining the wedding reception vibe. For the second half, Dan switched to the DJ board to provide the dance-party feel we were wanting for the second half. We had a wide range of age groups at our wedding and, with Dan's music, everyone was able to have a great time. He had everyone from ages 3-85 up and dancing. The guests could not stop raving about how great he was. The DQB really gave us the best of both worlds- we cannot recommend him enough!

I’m so glad we hired Dan Quinn! Working with Dan was so easy, he was always quick to respond to my emails even while on his honeymoon. We met with Dan once to get to know each other a bit better as well as discuss music genres. He had some great ideas for processional and recessional music since our aisle was so short. Throughout the reception I think just about everyone mentioned how great he was and asked how we found him. He puts his on personal spin on the songs and it was fabulous! Our ceremony and reception were wonderful and he was a huge part of that. He kept the party going and we had a fantastic time on the dance floor. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give him a 20. Thanks Dan for helping create such a memorable evening!

Do not pass up hiring Dan if you have the opportunity, I can promise you won't regret it!

Dan Quinn is one of the best entertainers in the area. I had many special requests and he had no problem finding a way to make each one happen. He learned 3 new songs for our first dances and even meet my wedding guests at the chapel and walked/played the guitar with them all the way to the reception venue. His involvement in my wedding reception made the night more than perfect. Every moment of my wedding reception was filled with a different kind of music to match the mood. My wedding guests raved about the music! Thank you Dan for making my wedding so very special!!!

Dan Quinn is a great entertainer. He asked us what kinds of music we wanted (he does a huge range of different types) and asked for a playlist. When we told him we weren't picky. he even sent us a playlist before the wedding so we could approve it. He is very professional, and definitely wants his clients to be happy with his performance.

We had 30 people at our wedding and he kept everyone engaged and having a great time. He responded well to the mood of the crowd, and we received tons of compliments on the choice of band. I highly recommend Dan Quinn for your big day!!

We were referred to Dan by a client who described him as "worth every penny"! When I called Dan for a quote he explained that he's not the cheapest DJ out there, but he is the best. Indeed, he was one of the most professional DJs I have ever worked with. He is young and modern, but very experienced and talented. He DJs full-time and also offers live music.
We used his DJ services for an event with about 100 people. Dan was very organized, professional and friendly. He worked with me in advance to plan out our night to ensure the music created exactly the atmosphere and flow that we wanted for our event. He brought quality DJ equipment, set up efficiently, and looked the part. He was fun and willing to be as interactive as we wanted.
