DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Port Huron Reviews

My wedding day was absolutely perfect! Cannot recommend the DoubleTree Port Huron enough!

Beautiful hotel in the area for a wedding block. I was in a different country and they were great about communicating over email. We had a few glitches getting the booking link setup but Riley was awesome and able to get to the bottom of the issue and had it all fixed before we released it to our guests! Sarah was great to communicate with to get the contract setup. It was easy to extend the block once the first group of rooms was booked. Check in and out was very easy for us and all our guests and they helped direct our guests to the shuttle. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Beds were also very comfortable after a very long day! The suite was perfect for our whole wedding party to get ready in - lots of space. Thankful that Doubletree was a part of our big day, and those cookies, yum!

Prices are a little high, especially if converting to Canadian and do wish there was a breakfast included but these are small things that don’t effect the great stay we had!

We used DoubleTree by Hilton Port Huron to reserve a block of rooms for our wedding and to host a celebratory breakfast the morning after. Amanda made the planning process very easy by offering great ideas, adding additional rooms to our block, assigning certain rooms to be near each other, and always responding in a timely manner. The weekend of our wedding, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The night of our wedding the staff offered a small conference room for our guests to continue their shenanigans in without bothering other guests. The next morning the celebratory breakfast was the most delicious and perfect way to reminisce on the night and say thank you / see you later to our guests that traveled near and far to partake in our special day!

This venue was truly a dream come true!!! The reception area is large and very beautiful, we barely needed decorations. The part that makes this venue stand out is the large outdoor patio that guests can mingle on throughout the night. We had a second bar outside and our guests enjoyed sitting outside as well as inside, and could walk down to the water and bridge! Our guests were telling us this was the nicest wedding venue they had ever been to!

Our photos turned out beautifully with the river and bridge in the background, and we even got some with a freighter sailing past! The team at DoubleTree was so easy to work with and they were very responsive to emails and calls! Amanda made sure everything ran perfectly for the entire weekend.

As far as price goes this was truly the most reasonably priced venue. For the beautiful location it was so so worth it! And we loved having the hotel attached to the venue so that we didn’t have to worry about providing a hotel shuttle for guests. So convenient staying there the night before too! 100% recommend this place!!!!

We used the DoubleTree by Hilton - Port Huron for our wedding on September 19th. We absolutely loved the property and the hotel so much that we had our entire event there! Our ceremony was on the Abbey Patio overlooking the beautiful river and our reception was in the Grand Ballroom. We also had a block of rooms reserved for our guests to stay the night! Leslie Smith, the events manager, is wonderful to work with. She's responsive and very helpful in walking through the many details of planning a wedding. I was so happy with the turnout of our wedding, the ceremony space was gorgeous, the reception was excellent, the staff very kind. If you're on a tight budget this may not be the place for you though. It is rather expensive, but worth it! The food was delicious and the bar was top notch! We had an amazing day here, and so happy we decided to go with the DoubleTree in Port Huron!
