The best decision for your wedding

I absolutely cannot gush too much about how amazing DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Holland was for our reception. The organizer, Angel, was truly an angel. She made everything beautiful, showing a deep commitment to making a great party and a beautiful layout no matter what. She was so helpful with giving guidance on quality of food and drinks to choose, even suggesting good outside vendors for our dessert option. She and her team made the room look absolutely stunning on the day of the wedding, but their obvious level of competence and commitment to quality made the months-long process of planning the reception a breeze. It was not stressful because we knew it was in good hands, and they didn't let us down! I can't speak to other DoubleTree hotels, but if you're in Holland, this really is the best place to have a reception. Especially because your guests can get rooms right in the hotel! I almost forgot: part of the package is that we (the couple getting married) had a room that night, where they had delicious champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting. But even more: their staff gathers all the gifts and puts them in the room for us. Their staff also cleans everything up. Even your decorations! They'll put any extra decorations you brought into a box or tub, as long as you provide it. It's hard to get this level of service anywhere. I can't recommend them highly enough. Choosing DoubleTree for our reception was one of our first big decisions, and every step of the way during planning, we were continuously impressed with the staff and very happy with our decision. (Plus, every time you go in there, they give you a warm cookie. You just can't go wrong!)

Perfect place and staff for a wedding

I, along with my guests, can not say enough positive things about having my wedding here! Angel was a dream to work with. She was very responsive, paid attention to details that I wouldn't have even thought of, wasn't pushy I'm sales, and just overall so sweet! The staff put in so much work setting up and taking care of us during the event. Our price included using the smaller ballroom for our ceremony and big ball room for the reception.

Best Wedding Venue

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception on July 13th at this venue. Words can’t express what a wonderful experience we had. Angel and her staff went above and beyond to make the day so special. From the planning stages to the day of the event, Angel was always there! She is amazing to work with! The venue itself accommodated our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception for 130 people. Our guests are still complimenting how wonderful everything came together. The price is very reasonable, the food was exceptional, and the staff is truly the best! I would highly recommend this venue!!!

Above and Beyond

Angel and her team at DoubleTree went above and beyond for our Mehndi night and for our wedding guests staying there! They helped make accommodations so that we could have traditional Indian food for our guests and ensured that our family setting up had everything they need. Our family staying there were able to set up an Indian breakfast in a conference room so that everyone felt at home! They truly made our guests comfortable and enjoy their weekend in Holland that much more.

Angel was amazing to work with! I can't thank her enough for making sure every detail was taken care of. She worked with our budget and made sure we had the best wedding day ever. I was so impressed by how quick she would respond to all of my endless questions. The food was good and I would highly recommend having late night pizza because it was probably the best pizza we have ever had (who knew hotel pizza could be so good?). The venue was extremely flexible and allowed us to bring in rentals to make the space our own. The banquet hall is basically a blank slate that you can transform into your own! I was somewhat worried about the carpet design but DO NOT let that stop you from booking this amazing place. You will NOT notice it! Once all of the tables were there and the dance floor was down it was so beautiful! On the day of the wedding, the staff was so accommodating and helpful to make sure that everything was set up the way we wanted it - they handle everything and make it so easy. I do not regret booking Double Tree at all and would do it all over again. Having our wedding at Double Tree was SO fun and all of our guests had a blast. Over 50% of our guests were from out of town and it was so nice for everyone to be able to walk up to their rooms instead of driving somewhere else! It was a night we will never forget thanks to Angel and all of the amazing staff that made it happen.

We had our September 2017 reception here and it was nothing short of fantastic. The entire staff was so incredibly helpful and accommodating. The food was AMAZING! Hands down best value for everything in this area. CHOOSE THIS VENUE!

The whole DoubleTree team did a great job for our wedding weekend. From the reception to accommodating all of our guests staying there. They worked with us from the planning to the day of making sure it was how we wanted. This was a destination wedding planned from 2 1/2 hours away. Many compliments on the food also.

We recently had out wedding reception at the doubletree hotel and we were beyond pleased with how it turned out. The night went very well and the staff was very nice. We would definitely recommend this place to others for their events.

So quick to respond and super willing to answer any question I could ever think of. They were definitely one of the cheaper venues in the area, and they had some amazing professionalism too. Definitely reccommend them!

Even though I work for a top notch catering service myself, (to which I could have easily had a discounted rate using the catering service I work for), my daughter wanted limited travel for her many out of town guests for her winter wedding. We decided on Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Holland to allow guests to enjoy a comfortable environment to which they could enjoy the reception and also have a place to stay. Working in the event industry I have very high standards and expectations for the quality of food, hospitality and flexibility of staff. I could not have been more pleased with the entire event from the beginning planning process to the final pricing. The staff was exceptional from the event planner (Angel) to the event coordinator (Angie) and the entire service staff. Even the hotel staff from the General Manager to the maintenance crew seemed to somehow get involved to make this special day so spectacular. It was an evening we will never forget. The compliments we received from our wedding guests were over the top with praises for the wonderful and beautiful environment to the extra special service they received. I had several guests say that they would certainly consider using Doubletree by Hilton to host their events when needed. Three weeks later and we are still receiving comments that this was the best wedding they had ever attended. Thank you Doubletree by Hilton for helping me pull off my vision for a winter wonderland wedding. I have been singing your praises to everyone and am extremely grateful for making this day absolutely perfect for the bride and groom as well as all of the guests!

This venue made our event so easy to relax and enjoy! They thought of everything! They have table linens to choose from and all the catering done on site, Dance floor, lighting, they even have a back drop stand and provided a microphone for the Minister! The venue is lovely and Danielle was willing to help and recommend other vendors that have worked with them before on wedding events. I highly recommend this venue! Couldn't have had a smoother experience. My daughters wedding was beautiful!

Double tree is awesome with wedding receptions I just used them and they did everything for me! I didn't have to think about anything on our busy day! Very professional and the food was great! They made our wedding night a dream come true made many memories!

Danielle Malburg was our sales manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Holland Hotel. She was the very best!! The reception for our daughter's wedding was amazing in every way from the start last October 2012 to October 5, 2013. The first time we met with Danielle a year ago she presented such a fabulous package there was no question this was the best venue in town. We have been so pleased during the year of preparation and the actual reception evening. Every detail was perfect.

Danielle was amazing to work with. I think everyone at Hilton could learn from her. She was very responsive and was always excited about what she was doing. I cant imagine working with anyone else. She was always excited to hear from us. She was open to suggestions and also helped with ideas of her own. Doubletree in Holland was the best choice we made for my daughter's wedding. The package they offer included so much it made the day very stress free. Danielle was very energetic and willing to accomodate whatever we asked. She was very attentive and responded to emails and calls quickly. We reserved the Historic Hotels ballroom which was very comfortable with plenty of room for our guests. They provided our table centerpieces exactly how we would have made them. They set-up and cleaned up and even locked our gifts in another room so we could just pick them up the next morning. The food was the BEST you will ever taste. My dad, who is a very picky eater, wanted to take some food home with him! Kudos Lee and your team. The whole staff during the night was very professional, cheerful, and were always there to refill coffee and water. The bar service was great as well. In our package they include linens, china, three cocktail hour foods, two buffet meat choices, centerpieces, bar service, dance floor, suite for the bride/groom, champagne for guests, and so much more! The price is reasonable as well. If you are looking for a venue for a wedding reception you MUST make Doubletree by Hilton in Holland and a visit with Danielle top on your list. I guarantee you will not look any further. They provide so much and are a pleasure to work with. Thank you Danielle, Lee, and the staff for making this special night very memorable and stress free.

It was a blast working with Danielle at the Holland DoubleTree. She was very friendly and professional and her and the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating and flexible with the vision I had in place for my wedding. The day of the wedding Danielle was not present to run things, but another Employee, Lee, was. Lee was also very great, helpful and fun. He insured that things ran smoothly, made sure all of my guests and bridal party were taken care of, and even got on the dance floor with us briefly when we called him over.

The price you pay for the value and quality of service is great. I would definitely recommend this venue spot, and I would also hold another event here.

DoubleTree could not have been more perfect for our wedding this past weekend. Everything was beyond amazing! I was planning from Ohio but that wasn't a problem at all as Danielle and Lee made everything so easy for us! Everything from planning, set up, dinner and through the end of the night was phenomenal! The hotel was also very accommodating to all of our guests who came in from out of town! Not a compliant to be heard about anything! You will be in VERY good hands if you stay or plan anything at DoubleTree!

I was immediately attracted to the package Double Tree offered as a reception venue for my wedding reception. They took care of so much for me and they executed everything I wanted perfectly. I planned my wedding from across the country so I had to put a lot of trust in this venue. They were extremely flexible in altering the reception package to fit my budget and adding in specific details to make our reception unique to my husband and I. They allowed us to use any of their centerpiece arrangements/pieces so we hardly had to buy anything to decorate! At the food tasting my husband and I were VERY impressed with the selection we got to chose from and the quality of taste that was presented... and the best part was on the big day the food had the same quality! Danielle was our coordinator and she was fantastic to work with!

Words cannot even describe how great this venue is. From our initial meeting, to us checking out of our hotel room the morning after our wedding everything was picture perfect. We booked our venue for our wedding in December of 2010 and got married in May of 2011 so we had a very short time to plan the wedding of our dreams. We worked with Lisa Wedding and Margaret Tamminga throughout the entire process and didn't have a single complaint. The communication was great, the room was decorated beautifully, and the food was mouthwatering. I know that all of our guests were impressed and our wedding will be talked about for years to come thanks to the Doubletree!

Danielle and the staff at Double Tree were absolutely AMAZING!!! They could not have made my day any more perfect. I live in Florida but was having my wedding in Holland at the Double Tree and Danielle was great to work with me living so far away. She was flexible and easy to work with. Even the hotel staff was fabulous to my guest staying the night at the hotel. I really enjoyed working and planning with Danielle. She is very energetic and full of great ideas. Danielle and her staff especially Lee, made my day PERFECT!! My guests and family were very pleased and did not have one negative thing to say. The room was beautiful and the food was AMAZING!!! We also had our rehearsal dinner there and that was fanatic as well. The price is great and the service is amazing!!!

We could not of asked for anything more from Double Tree!!! The entire staff was the best. We had a block of 40 rooms and not one of our guest could come up with anything negative.

Danielle was Excellent!!! Our wedding was extra special. Even with our changing circumstances, Danielle was gracious about making adjustments and it made for a beautiful wedding reception. The food was also excellent. We highly recommend Double Tree to anyone who wishes to create fond memories by partnering with them.

The staff at the DoubleTree was more helpful then I could have ever imagined! Danielle was great and was always available whenever I had questions or needed to meet.
Lee was fantastic as well with the food and just making sure the whole reception went smooth.
On our wedding day ALL the staff made sure that we always had drinks and went above and beyond during the reception to make sure we were all satisfied at all times!

Amazing!
Margaret was so awesome! She was so helpful and made the whole day/week leading up to the wedding so easy and stressfree. I was able to bring things for the ceremony and reception the week of the wedding so then we won't have to try to remember everything the day before. Margaret even had the reception room partially set up the night of the rehearsal dinner so I could see it and decide on any changes (there weren't).
The food was really good and received many compliments during the reception and afterwards.
My husband and I received the junior suite the night of the reception from Doubletree with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne!
Would recommend to anyone and everyone! Everything was organized and the wait staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, absolutely loved everything!

I loved the doubletree. We had our reception here back in June. Danielle was so helpful when deciding what venue to use. And once we picked the doubletree, she continued to make everything stress free. She answered all of my questions (constant emails from me!) so quickly and was helpful with all the decisions that needed to be made. I also loved it because everything was done as one package at the venue. Tables, linens, food, drink, etc. Everything was provided for one price per head which made it easier for me to stay organized. My only complaint is having had a cake and cupcakes- our main cake was supposed to be cut and served to the head table and parents tables and this was never done. So aside from having the top layer (to save for our one year) we had 2 huge layers of cake to do nothing with but cart home and hope to share it with someone. Other than this- everything was absolutely perfect. We used the Doubletree for our rehearsal dinner and room block as well and everything went well. Many food options and once again- everything was a package deal which was so helpful. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Danielle and the entire event staff at DoubleTree hotel did a wonderful job: they made the day worry-free for me and my family from setting up the favors, to putting out the centerpieces; they day was beautiful. Danielle was also very responsive in the entire planning process as we changed our minds on room setup, location, and tiny details; she was spot on and patient.

My daughter's wedding reception was great. Danielle and Lee were very responsive to all our requests, the food was great and the rest of their staff was awesome. Thanks so much for all your help, I would highly recommend the Doubletree to anyone planning a wedding reception.

Great food, location and service

We used the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Holland for our wedding ceremony and reception. They were also our caterers, and we were able to set up a room block for our guests. Angel did a great job answering all of our questions that we had leading up to the wedding, as well as providing suggestions when we needed them. The rooms for our ceremony and reception turned out beautifully. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how good the food was too! Angel helped keep our day on track and keep things running smoothly. Our day turned out to be wonderful, thanks to all of our great vendors.

Everyone loved the food and venue. The only thing wrong was the room was not set up at the time they said it would be. We couldn't decorate when we arrived but we had time.

The DoubleTree by Hilton did an AMAZING job with our wedding reception. The hall was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, the service at the reception was outstanding, and the event planning went as smoothly as possible. The staff went above and beyond our expectations to make our day special, and all of our guests were impressed.

Doubletree did a wonderful job for our wedding! Danielle was awesome to work with getting every detail just right. She was always so sweet in helping with decisions and responding to emails and questions. The food was delicious and service was great. Great place for a wedding with many out of town guests. It was overall the most amazing day!!!

We loved working with DoubleTree! They had some of the best prices around. Danielle walked us through step by step and was willing to meet with us multiple times to go through all the details. She's really great. They allowed us to have access to the room one whole day before, which helped the day of the wedding run so much smoother. They were able to set up, tear down, and put our things in a separate, locked room after the night of the wedding. As far as service,on the night of the wedding reception, I had a couple DoubleTree workers come up and ask if anything needed to be fixed or if I needed anything. They were all very kind and always smiling. Food was great, too! As a whole, DoubleTree helped make the reception more easy to plan and organize!

The event planner, Danielle, is a true asset to DoubleTree. She helped me with all the planning and asked all the necessary questions to make sure everything ran smoothly. The large ballroom was set up as asked and the quality of service from the staff was great. The only problem I had was that I asked that the linens be ironed and when we arrived for our reception, that was not taken care of.

Doubletree Hotel handled everything for me! It was simple and there were no hidden costs whatsoever. The per head amount made budgeting easy and they even offered a kids meal for children under 12 for a significantly discounted rate.

We had my daughters wedding and reception at Holland Double Tree. Angel was perfect for helping guide us through the process and keeping us on tract. We enjoyed Steve the bartender made everyone feel welcome and Lisa and her crew made sure the reception went off without any issues. They were all very accommodating to assist us and our guests wherever needed

The food was VERY good, and we had a ton of people asking what resturant it came from. (It's was all done by the Double Tree) BUT we ran out of beef and they had to start making chicken without BBQ sauce to try and make-up for the lack of food. This was after telling them (the Double Tree staff) at every meeting before our event that we didn't want to run out of food, and they told us they've NEVER run out of food.
Overall it was a great place to hold our event.

In the beginning this seemed like the perfect place to get married. Danielle was very friendly and accommodating at first. Also we choose this venue because we had so many out of town guests and it was great that it was a hotel where they could stay after the party. It also seemed like we got the most bang for our buck. Danielle had made her self available for any questions I had. Once the contract was signed it seemed she lost interest and felt like she did not have to try anymore. She also got pregnant in the middle of all my wedding planning and was barely every in the office when I would call. . It took multiple phone calls and emails to get answers to simple questions. My photographer wanted to view the ceremony site to make sure to be ready day of and the reception staff was not even aware that they held ceremonies at their hotel which caused me to go into a panic. I immediately contacted Danielle only to find out through her voicemail that she was no longer going to be working for double tree and that Angel would be taking over. Angel was in my opinion not very professional and she did not seem to be too happy about taking over the job. In the end the day of the wedding there was no Danielle or Angel, I ended up having the dietary manager be my go to person day of the wedding and I had only met her once. I do have to say that the night of the wedding the staff that was there to cater the wedding was very nice and very accommodating and helpful. I did not live in Holland when I was planning my wedding and was not aware of all the different venues available to me so this seemed like a great option. In my opinion there are much better places for the price and if i could do it again I would have gone elsewhere. However, in the end I married my best friend and that was all that mattered.
