Excellent Photography Team!

Jaime and Jeff photographed our wedding last month. They were fantastic to work with! From the very beginning when we inquired about their availability to meeting with them to discuss our wedding day and then on our big day, they were responsive, prompt, organized and professional. They went above and beyond to capture everything we wanted and were so personable and put everyone at ease being in front of the camera. Thanks to them, our wedding was captured in a beautiful and creative way. We are over the moon happy and excited with our gorgeous photos and we highly recommend this talented duo!

Experienced, Energetic & Flexible

Jaime and Jeff captured memories which my family and I will look back on for years. They coordinated with all vendors to make the process as seamless as possible. Their flexibility to change on a dime is superb- even if it is just a quick shot here and there. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for experienced and energetic photographers; they even got the kids to smile!

My son had injured his knee before our scheduled appointment and they were wonderful in finding the right locations for him to have his senior photos taken without having to walk on uneven grounds or walking long distances. The photos came out amazing. They too the time to make sure he was comfortable.

Lewiston - Auburn Rotary Lunch Club celebrated their 100th Anniversary this year. We contacted Double-Take Photography to capture the gala event. From planning to day of wedding, all went very smoothly. Jaime and Jeff were great to work with! They helped everything go according to plan, and kept us all amused with their banter during our photos. The photos themselves came out beautifully and they captured all the special moments and little details! I would highly recommend them for your special day!

Jeff and Jamie are amazing! We were in awe of the beautiful location they chose. They were well prepared for the shoot with many great ideas for small and large group photos. The are so fun to spend time with and really made us feel at ease. The photos are gorgeous - we were thrilled with the results!

We couldn't be happier with Double Take Photography, they are prompt, professional and very friendly but most of all very accommodating. They'll get you smiling even if you're having a bad day. We LOVE the way they connect with our grandchildren thus making it easier for all of us.

Very accommodating and flexible...had 6 kids 8 and under plus a 9 month old baby in our wedding and was able to work with them perfectly to get some great shots. Plus, I am pretty particular and Jeff and Jaime easily worked with me to pull off my vision. Highly recommended!

Jaime and Jeff of Double-Take Photography were the absolute BEST! From the first meeting I knew they would be the ones I wanted to hire for my daughter's wedding. They are so accommodating, pleasant and professional. They took the time to remember everyone's names and guests at the wedding really took notice to that. As for the wedding...they weren't intrusive, but still got so, so many great pictures!!! I would recommend them to anyone for a wedding or any other function that you need photographers for!

My fiancé and I couldn't be happier with our engagement photos from Double Take Photography. From the first conversation and meeting in person we just knew they were the ones for us.
Jamie and Jeff suggested a fantastic location and the background scenery was gorgeous! They are so much fun to work and talk with. Instead of looking stiff and posed like so many professional portraits do, every shot was fun and relaxed. They were even able to work our daughter into many of the shots to give us some priceless family photos. I can't wait to work with them again for our wedding photos!

I cant say enough about Jamie and Jeff. They went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. Before the wedding we met multiple times to make sure they knew all the specific shots that we personally wanted that were really important to us. They also made a super helpful timeline to decrease stress on my husband and I to make sure everything went as smooth as possible on our day. Not only did they do a phenomenal job on our actual shots,(they literally came out picture perfect), they took so much extra time out to get to know all of our bridal party, friends and family and truly made everything so wonderful. They made everyone laugh, took really original shots and I cant imagine how many hours it took to edit all 1,300 of our pictures. My husband and I hired them for the entire day (12 hours) and I am so glad we did that. They did a great job collecting the best memories of the entire day from getting ready to our sparkler send off. They even got shots that we didn't know were happening which were my favorite. Adam and I will always be grateful for the two of them, who not just were hired as two photographers but who I would consider two new friends. I would recommend this dynamic duo to anyone and I know that we will use them for any future pictures!

Jeff and Jaime at Double-Take Photography are the way to go! They will do a dry run with you weeks before your big day, which not only helps with knowing when pictures will be taken at your wedding, but also gives you a clear "picture" of how the whole day will play out. Double-Take captured our special day perfectly. I wouldn't change a thing. Jeff and Jaime are so personable, funny, and not afraid to give their honest opinions, which is so helpful. Pick them for your wedding day (Engagement photos, too, for that matter!), and you are in safe hands!

Jeff and Jaime are perhaps the most conscientious photographers. They created a detailed wedding timeline for our big day (which we would have been lost without), and they helped us stick to it so the day could run smoothly. They also took the time to learn all of the names of everyone in our wedding party, including significant others, and used those names while taking our pictures as if they had known everyone forever. They were always available to help Jeff and I during the months leading up to our wedding, and offered honest feedback and advice. I'm pretty sure we ended up using all of their suggestions. Most importantly, they are fun, professional, seriously experienced photographers who offer 2 perspectives yet work effortlessly together. Our pictures came out great, and we're so glad they could be there to capture our big day.

`I would highly recommed Jeff and Jaime to do your wedding photo's. They are fun upbeat and never miss a shot. They keep everything moving so you have all the pictures you want and so much more. Jamie and Jeff (Double Take Photography) services are second to none. My wife's wedding party contained 8 wound up women and mine was made up of 8 rowdy men. They took the time to memorize each party members name and even there significant others name, so when they arrived they new exactly who everyone was. Double Take worked extremely hard to create beautiful photos we couldn't be happier with. With Jamie and Jeff in our eyes your not only getting photographers but wedding planners, time managers (we desperately needed), experts, and counselors. They do everthing in there power to make sure your big day goes as smooth as possible and we could see that in their amazing photos. I can't thank Double-Take enough for taking such amazing family pictures at Old Orchard Beach. They were so patient with my children. These pictures were a dream come true. They were willing to change venues and dates due to weather and went the extra mile on photos, not just the planned poses but any good shot along the way. The variety of perspectives was great! DoubleTake Photography are there for the wedding couple from start to finish. They make your special day extra special. There is no one other than these two people that I would hire for my wedding or even a special day that you want captured. I cannot express how much all our guests loved them. Jeff and Jaime were/are fantastic. I actually was married 9/10/05 and picked up my wedding album today. The delay was all on me and my inability to make a decision. I kept in constant contact apologizing along the way for not moving things along until it reached the point of me giving up and asking them to do the layout of my album. Over the 8yrs the plans changed entirely going from a traditional album to a beautiful digital piece.
The day of the wedding they were great, having them both there to capture and see the same thing from different perspectives. Very personable and accommodating. Worth the piece of time forever in photographs, photographers are more than the camera they hold.

You will not find 2 people who truly love what they do more than Jeff and Jaime! From start to finish many many months after the wedding J&J were there for us every single step. These 2 are amazing, pre-event prep and planning help, day of they took the reigns and kept things humming, album planning and design all 5 star. Every time someone asks about our wedding Doubletake is the 1st vendor that is mentioned. I can't say enough to explain how great these two are. We liked them so much we have remained friends with them, which I am learning seems to be the norm! 5 stars top to bottom.

Jaime and Jeff of DTP were absolutely wonderful. They are extremely accommodating, very professional, talented, and easy to work with. It was almost like having a wedding planner, as well as a photographer, as they provided us with a timeline for the day, told us where everyone needed to be and when, and they kept everything moving during the day. We have worked with Jeff and Jamie since 2001 when they photographed our engagement shoot and then in 2002 for our wedding. We have seen them at several friend's and family member weddings as well. Over the years, we have continued to return to them for now our growing family photo sessions and have NEVER been disappointed with their work, quality and services. They are wonderful to work with and have always gone above and beyond our expectations. You really can't ask for 2 better individuals to photograph those special moments in your life.

The most recent event was my BIL's wedding where once again, they did an amazing job. Not only with the photos they took but making sure the day went smoothly and everyone was where they were supposed to be at the appropriate times. They truly are wedding planners as well as photographers!

We were totally blown away by Double Take Photography. We contracted with Jaime and Jeff Baras of DTP for two days of photos for our two-day wedding and reception. We were not disappointed! They were fun, on the ball, professional, creative, smart, and extremely talented. They were excellent at keeping things on schedule and at memorizing all of our friends and family member's names! We were so glad to have them as our photographers and we'd recommend them with 10 stars if we could. They're a fabulous duo.

Two professionals for the price of one. Very personable and fit in like family. Which is what we all want, someone to actually care & care about the little things-that I would have overlooked. For the past 8 years when our family from CA and VA get together in the summer here in Maine pictures are taken by DoubleTake and every year we say these are the best. We cannot ask for better photographers who are like family now. That's the kind of people they are. They've also done our daughters wedding photos back in 2000.

Jaime & Jeff are beyond great! They were extremely easy to work with, professional, and they really helped with the smoothness of the day. We chose to work with them because we wanted to really have the opportunity to capture the entire day, rather than being forced to choose a specific time frame AND you get two photographers! They were with us from the morning getting ready process through the entire reception. Another great bonus to working with Double-Take Photography is that they meet with you prior to the big day to go through a dry run of the photos planned for the big day. In the hectic wedding planning days, it helped me feel more at ease being confident in their ability to work as a team and with us to get the shots we wanted. We picked up our album recently, and couldn't be happier! They have a variety of different album designs to choose from, and were very helpful in the design process of the album planning stage. Even now, guests from our wedding still say what great photographers we had, and when Jaime & Jeff say they will memorize everyone's name in the wedding party and the family, they mean it!

DTP was great, they were super flexible with us, we wanted to make our entire cocktail hour and they were able to get all the pictures done in time. They were also really quick about getting our pictures back, we had almost 1000 pictures six weeks after our wedding. They were there from 10am to 10pm, and got photo's of the entire reception plus getting ready. And there were two of them so they didn't miss anything!

Double Take Photography was amazing, Jeff and Jaime were always right on top of everything. They were not just our photographers, they acted like our wedding planners. They made a helpful timeline that we gave to everyone so that our special day ran smoothly, they were extremely flexible with times and places where we needed them to be, and on top of everything they didn't treat us like their clients, they treated us like their friends. I would recommend Double Take Photography to anyone. Jaime and Jeff make you feel right at home.
