Jon is an absolutely amazing DJ! He is incredibly kind and truly works to make your wedding day exactly what you want! He was so accommodating and gave amazing advice not only for music but for the wedding day in general. He did a great job keeping the wedding day timeline running smoothly.
I asked him to put together a breakout dance for my father and I and he did a phenomenal job with this. I loved the transitions and options he gave me. He was super fun an interactive during the wedding and really kept the party going. I would HIGHLY recommend Jon James for weddings and or any event a DJ is needed!! -

Jon was amazing. He was maybe the second vendor I had hired to partake in our wedding and I'm so glad I did. Jon was sweet and professional...two things you don't often get in one package. Jon helped me choose songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. And like any great DJ, he kept our guests entertained and dancing the night away. Any request I had of Jon be it the first dance song to song dedications, he was on it. We will be recommending him to friends. Thank you Jon for an amazing evening and putting me at ease. -

I wasn't going to get a DJ for my wedding because I thought I wasn't able to afford one. DJ Jon was recommended by the manager at the Hilton Garden Inn and he was willing to work with us on the price. Not only was he friendly and professional, he played every song I wanted and had my shy crowd dancing. I'm not a strong dancer but we were on the floor all night. We got our money's worth and I can't believe I almost skipped out on a DJ all together. He was flexible, attentive and I will recommend him to everyone we know. -

He was extremely flexible as well as extremely helpful. He cut songs for an epic series of wedding party entrances, cut our first dance song exactly how we had asked him to and put on a great party! -

Jennifer Sent on 05/15/2016Jon was incredible. From the very first meeting until the very last dance, Jon was there every step of the way. We met for our initial consultation in a neutral setting, and Jon brought everything to the table. He was upfront and honest about his services and his pricing. He even brought along examples of playlists for the previous weddings he has done. He was very communicative throughout the planning process. Jon even offered to come to the rehearsal - something he did not have to do - to do a mock run of the ceremony music.
There was a power surge the day of, and Jon was prepared. He had a Plan A, B, all the way to a Plan Z. He was full of energy, played everything we wanted and even surprised the groom and I with our favorite college football team's fight song. I cannot recommend Jon enough.
