Personable, Professional, & Amazing Attention to Detail!
When we were looking for a wedding photographer back in 2019, we wanted to find someone who was easy to talk to, patient (we’re not used to being in front of the camera!), and most importantly took great photos!
Amanda checks all those boxes and more. With the unexpected challenges that came with 2020; replanning, canceling, and replanning some more, we could not have asked for a better & more understanding photographer. Amanda rolled with the punches and tried her best to make things as worry-free as possible for us on the photography front. We absolute LOVE all the photos she has taken for us, for both our engagement shoot & wedding day. There is no photographer/vendor I can recommend more! -

Amanda did such a great job! She was pleasant, professional and did everything she could to get the shots. All of the pictures are amazing, especially the portraits. It was a pleasure to work with Amanda and I know we will be using her services in the future. -

Cannot recommend amanda more!
I was lucky enough to find Doskofoto through wedding wire and feel so fortunate to now know Amanda. From the very first email, she was uber responsive. I am very Type A and was so relieved to find a photographer that is the same way. This means Amanda was always early, organized, on top of every little detail, and professionally and seamlessly handled the business end of the transaction (loved being able to pay and view our contract on her online platform). She even arrived an hour early for our engagement photo session to scout shot locations. And let me tell you, if I didn't already like her before, it was love when she moved a twig out of the way (from the ground!) to capture the perfect shot.
She was in constant communication with us for the entire year before our wedding and for the months thereafter. Best of all, she made us feel SO comfortable. I highly recommend everyone do the engagement shoot, which she includes in many of her packages. It allowed us to get comfortable with Amanda, and let her know what type of photos we favored. It also allowed me to see that my makeup trial was far too dark for the type of look I wanted. By the time we got to our wedding day, we felt like our friend had arrived to take our photos and genuinely liked having her around us all day. We also really enjoyed working with her second shooter, Edith. Such a gem!
Finally, the talent. Amanda just has the eye. We didn't want cliche poses, and boy did she deliver. There were too many favorite photos to count and we still haven't been able to decide how many to print (there's about 100 that we deem frame worthy)! We are clients of Doskofoto and Amanda for life now.

Amanda is truly an amazingly talented photographer. Chris and I were completely blown away by her ability to capture raw, candid moments, while also nailing the portrait shots! Not to mention her editing style is absolutely stunning. She's a joy to be around and made the photographing experience (Chris and I have never been professionally photographed, we had both the engagement shoot & wedding coverage) so easy going and helped us feel comfortable! Adaptability is one of Amanda's skills I saw shine during our first look which took place on the Venice Canals. Amanda didn't let the weather (bright sun, wind), or pedestrians walking get in the way of capturing the most GORGEOUS photos... Not to mention the fact that we had to rush that entire first look shoot because of time limitations. She went above and beyond each time we saw her, ensuring we we're happy and getting the photos we desired for our big day (Amanda altered her premium wedding package to reflect the desired number of photos we wanted to get from our wedding day, she ended up providing almost 1,000 edited photos for us and we couldn't have been happier!). If you're looking for a simple engagement shoot, or for someone to capture your wedding day-- Amanda will definitely meet your photography needs & more! My husband and I got married in October of 2018 and could not have been more satisfied with the experience we had with Amanda.
Upon our first meeting with Amanda, we knew right away that she was the kind of photographer we wanted to work with. I had admired her photos on various social media platforms and loved her photography style, but was pleased to meet such an easy going, positive, and organized artist in person. Her journalistic and less “posed” style was just what we wanted for our big day and the photos that we received are absolutely beautiful and will be cherished for the rest of our lives.
I have never been a comfortable person in front of a camera, but Amanda knew just how make our engagement shoot into something that felt natural and quite fun. We had a great time together and the photos turned out beautifully and so natural. It was a great practice run for being in front of her lens before the wedding day.
On our wedding day Amanda caught all of the important moments and so many more. The images were just what we had hoped for.
I can’t forget to mention the adorable wooden box she gives as a gift at the end of the entire process full of our chosen printed photos and a flash drive containing all of our wedding photos.
Amanda was organized, and on top of communication with my wedding planner and I throughout the entire process. She was an absolute joy to work with and we feel that we have made a friend in Amanda and look forward to booking her for all of our future photography needs.

Amanda is wonderful to work with!
My wife and I chose Amanda to be our photographer after seeing her beautiful work and after meeting her in person for an initial meeting. Her use of light in photography is special and is what caught my eye initially. She has a touch for capturing light beautifully in any moment.
She was a joy to work with through the whole process and was always quick to respond. We did an engagement shoot to get to know each other better and for her to get a feel for our personalities and how to best capture us. We were a little bit apprehensive about the shoot but she was awesome and got us to have fun with it. The pictures were beautiful!
For the actual wedding she was wonderful and chose a great 2nd shooter for the event. We absolutely love the pictures we got from the wedding. We did a back yard wedding that went into the night with no overhead covering. I know that can be a challenge for photographers because of the lack of covering to bounce flashes off of. I shouldn't have been concerned. She was great. She captured some of the most wonderful moments of my life and the pictures just perfectly show what it was like when they were happening. I love looking through the pictures even months later. From our first look and pre wedding photo shoot to the ceremony and the party we couldn't be more happy with her work.
With the package we got a bunch of prints with a nice finished wooden box package as well as the digitals. Everything came in good time and with great presentation.
I absolutely recommend Amanda for both event photography as well as for portraits/photo shoots. She was awesome to work with in both cases. I totally plan to work with her again when we need a photographer in the future. -

Chelsey Sent on 09/16/2018Amanda was incredible to work with. She kept my husband and I calm during all the chaos of family photos and picked a beautiful spot for our couples photos. My husband remarked that he didn’t even notice her taking photos during the reception, and yet she was able to get some images that perfectly represented the night and joy of everyone at our wedding.
We look forward to hiring Amanda again for anniversary and family photos in the future. -

Leonard Sent on 06/10/2018When my wife and I met Amanda for the first time, we realized that she was the one, a no-brainer. Her style and personality really show in her photos, not just in their beauty but in her ability to capture those beautiful moments. She has a knack for making you feel at ease, take it from someone who doesn't like being in front of a camera. She's also superbly organized and always has a plan but you wouldn't know it by her easy going nature. Any time we had a question she was a text, call, email or facetime away. With the stresses that come from a wedding you don't want to worry about your photographer - and we never did, we had full trust in her eye and camera wizardry. I can say that looking back at all of our photos that I can feel that day in them, so many vivid moments. She absolutely exceeded my expectations, I even like the photos that I'm in (just kidding haha). I know that all of our future big life events, I want Amanda there to capture and share in those moments.

I’m so glad I found Amanda because she was able to bring my vision to life! I was her second wedding she ever shot and she did an incredible job! She was so easy to work with and we both felt so comfortable around her during our big day. She made the photography aspect of our wedding a breeze! She also provided a few edited photos while we were on our honeymoon which we loved! Since then Amanda has photographed our maternity journey, our fresh newborn and every year during the holidays for family photos.

Ashley Sent on 03/06/2018Ok so where do I begin...Amanda is amazing! I have used her for my engagement, wedding and newborn shoot. So at this point I guess you could say she’s my family photographer. :) As a bride one of the most important parts of the wedding (for me at least) was the pictures! Memories may eventually fade over time but pictures are what bring you back to that special moment in your life. Let me tell you, I am in LOVE with my wedding photos. Amanda was able to capture my wedding in a way that brings me back to that day every time I look at the pictures. I love her style and she was very willing to listen to any and all ideas that my husband and I had regarding certain pictures we wanted. She even came up with some ideas for photo “poses” that I loved and never would have thought of on my own. She was able to capture every moment of my first look. Along with every other important moment at my wedding. Amanda is very professional but also makes you feel super comfortable which is important. So basically if you are looking for an amazing photographer to trust with your wedding, look no further, Amanda is your girl!

From our first meeting all the way up to our wedding day, Amanda was right there with us. She made sure that our timeline was well planned out for pictures, she handled all my crazy family pictures flawlessly, she gave me pointers on what to bring for detail shots and she made my husband feel comfortable during portraits which is a feat all on its own! It really felt like we were hanging out with a friend all day. And I can't forget to mention how stunning our pictures are! We got a sneak peak immediately to share on social media for our friends and family that weren't able to come and when we got our full gallery, I cried. I look at my wedding pictures on the daily! We can't thank Amanda enough!
