Everyone we worked with, especially Chelsea, was incredibly kind, professional and went above and beyond to make our day go seamlessly. The venue is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Fairytale wedding at The Shore Club!
We got married in October at The Shore Club on what felt like the most perfect day of the year! The venue exceeded all my expectations with how beautifully they executed the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.. it truly brought my dream wedding to life.
Cocktail hour was absolutely incredible! The mashed potato bar was a huge hit, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. A big thank you to all the staff who helped make our day so special. They were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Wedding dreams came true
I'm so happy we went with the shore club for our special day. The best part about it, was that everything was all at the same location. The ceremony, reception, hotel and after party. The beach and park are so close for amazing photos opportunities as well. Chelsea was very so great to work with, she was so responsive and Flexible. The food was great, we got so many compliments about it. The drinks were also amazing. I would definitely recommend The Shore Club to anyone getting married. You get so much for your money in your special day!!

Best day ever 🤍
I was SO nervous about having my wedding here due to some bad reviews I saw. However, picking The Shore Club to host my ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was the best choice I have ever made. Chelsea kept in contact with me constantly and would reassure me when I was nervous. Nicole and Kieran helped with booking hotel reservations and Nicole was able to help us out with last minute changes past our hotel block date to accommodate our guests. Heidi my bridal attendant was ready to go the morning of and constantly made sure we were doing okay in the bridal suite. Penny our matri’d helped everything go smoothly and waited on us hand and foot to make sure we were okay. The bartenders were amazing and took care of me, I was newly pregnant at my wedding so they made sure to make me mocktails everytime I’d walk up to the bar. The venue is beautiful, hotel rooms are clean, atrium was gorgeous for our ceremony, food for cocktail hour and reception our guests RAVED on and on about saying how delicious it was. The wait staff made sure everyone was taken care of and kept things moving throughout the night. The bridal suite was gorgeous and so picture worthy. They packaged up all of our things that night and had it ready to go. Everything went so smoothly. Not 1 thing went wrong. Choosing the shore club was the best decision we made.

Best day ever
The shore club was the perfect place for my husband and I to tie the knot. The bridal suite was adorable and it was the perfect space for my bridal party to get ready. Everyone was friendly, and helpful through the entire process. The food was delicious and the venue is beautiful. I love how convenient the venue is having the hotel rooms, the ceremony, reception, and after party all in one spot. Were so happy we chose the shore club!

Highly Recommend!
The entire staff was so attentive to my husband and I and our guests. They took care of everything and made the night worry free for my family and I. The whole team from the start of the planning process to the actual day were so helpful, flexible, respectful, and responsive. The food was amazing and the room held 202 people perfectly. Having rooms onsite at a reasonable price and Tap house right down the street for the after party was great.

Our Dream Wedding
We had our wedding here on 10.28.2023 and it was absolutely perfect. The venue was beautiful and the staff were amazing.
Chelsea did an amazing job helping us with the entire process and keeping up up-to-date on our timelines. Penny was a lifesaver on our wedding day. She was there whenever we had a question or needed anything. Billy kept us calm and helped direct us on where to go next. He even hopped behind the bar when the line got too long.
We have received so many compliments on the food and overall atmosphere of the venue. Thank you to everyone at the Shore Club for making our dream wedding come to life.

Outstanding wedding venue
My wedding was in March 2023 and it was an outstanding experience! I highly recommend The Shore Club. The dance floor and carpet were newly renovated and looked great. The food and service were amazing. Reach out to Chelsea in the sales office for your wedding!
I am a Wedding Planner and Designer, and when I decided to plan, design and decorate my own 30th Wedding Anniversary - Vow Renewal Celebration, I needed to work with a venue that would allow me to bring to life my celebration vision board just as I envisioned it to be.
Chelsea our Event Coordinator and the entire Shore Club staff were amazing from beginning to end. During the planning stages Chelsea was very patience and accommodating, and the day of the event the Penny (Maitre D’) and the event staff were amazing. The entire flow from the Vow Renewal, to the Cocktail Hour to the Reception was flawless. I highly recommend The Shore Club because they provide great service and have a TRUE Bridal Suite on-site.

What a night!
We recently had out wedding at the shore club and it was unforgettable! The shore club is a beautiful venue with an amazing cocktail hour as well as dinner. My husband and I got married at the Shore Club on 03/03/2023. We were extremely satisfied to say the least. We were the first bride and groom to get married with the newly renovated dance floor and carpeting in the grand ballroom. The staircase was renovated with brand new carpeting as well, which made for even more beautiful family photos. There are so many options for photo ops at The Shore Club. My parents got married at this same venue over 30 years ago. I had a vision to recreate where they had their photos taken and I am so grateful to have these memories that will last a lifetime. The hotel rooms were clean, priced fairly, and super convenient, especially for our guests who traveled from out of state. We had signature drinks for our guests upon their arrival that were in the lobby. The cocktail hour had so many options to choose from including passed hors d’oeuvres, hot stations, and cold stations. One of my personal favorites was the sailboat filled with fresh seafood. There was also an ice sculpture we chose in the shape of a G representing our last name. The dinners were delicious, and our food tasting was such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the salmon! The candelabra center pieces were offered by the venue and were the perfect addition to our flowers. The menus for dinner were created by the venue along with the name place cards so that was one less thing for me to worry about. Our cake was provided by Chocolate Carousel and was surely a crowd pleaser. For additional desserts we chose an ice cream bar, and each table had its own platters of pastries. After the wedding there were two farewell stations that included hot pretzels with cheese and pork roll sandwiches. The afterparty was in the lobby bar and hideaway lounge. The breakfast buffet was the cherry on the top the following morning where we enjoyed omelets cooked to order, fresh fruit and lots of other choices. Chelsea Davis made my wedding dreams come true. My maître d was Penny, and my bridal Attendant was Heidi. If you choose to get married here, I will highly recommend requesting the same team members I had for my wedding.

Amazing intimate wedding !!
The Shore Club was an amazing venue to hold my intimate wedding. Frankie was amazing start to finish. On the day of my wedding, he was always checking in and going above and beyond. The food was amazing, cocktail hour alone was enough food to fill my guests. The venue supplied my centerpieces, card box, candles, and every other little thing I forgot. Chelsea was so helpful and kind through every process leading up to my wedding. She helped me plan every aspect, and helped my guests book rooms for the night. Could not recommend this venue enough, book before this place gets too popular!!

The couple!
My Husband and I got married here 01/14/2023.
From the moment we walked into the venue to tour, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. My husband is very into his Irish heritage, and the shore club had the flair he needed.
The main lobby is beautiful and has tons of amazing places for pictures and places to hang while our guests arrived. The chandeliers are breathtaking and the staircase says it all.
Chelsea was amazing with explaining the package, and everything that was included. (Which by the way is an enormous amount of stuff!)
Our guests were extremely impressed with the food, service, decor, and how seamlessly everything ran.
The hotel on premises was extremely helpful, for traveling guests and cutting transportation costs for us. All of our guests were able to get the group discount which was included in the wedding package.
The bridal suite was huge and decorated so cute when I got in there! My bridesmaids and I loved it.
The fact that the owners also own the Spring Lake Tap House and St. Stephens Greene was also a huge plus. Having rehearsal dinner at St. Stephens was so simple, they were able to accommodate the 30 people we had for dinner. We had our after party at the tap house where our guests were able to walk 1 block (again, no need for transportation!).
The staff was helpful throughout the entire process. I brought the decor, and the staff did an amazing job putting it all together and creating my dream wedding. I could not have asked for anything better. Special thanks to Chelsea, Frankie and the staff that helped for anything to do with our wedding.
It truly was the best day of our lives. (And a lot of our families as well!)

The Premium Package!
We choose The Shore Club because when we walked it just felt right. It smelled so good and the lobby beautiful! However, what truly sealed the deal was working along side Chelsea Davis! She is amazing. She was able to bring out what we envisioned for our wedding into reality. She made the wedding planning so easy! They matched our menu to our invitation and accented the reception hall decor to all coordinate well and we did not even have to get overwhelmed with flowers or drown out the beauty of the room with extra items. Our Maître d', Frank and Heidi were so attentive to us and our guests. We were actually able to enjoy our wedding and reception! The food was absolutely amazing! It’s been 20 days and our family and friends are still talking about the food. It is not easy to find a venue that not only provide superb service and serve delicious food from the hors d'oeuvre to the entree and desserts! I wish I can relive it all over once again!!

Exceptional Team at the Shore Club
My now husband, then fiance and I originally planned to have our wedding at The Shore Club (then Doolan’s Shore Club) in September of 2020 before the eventual collapse of the world. My grandfather used to take my sisters and I there when we were girls so there was obviously some measure of nostalgia for me. The former owner’s remembered my grandfather and even offered us a special rate in his memory. When Doolan’s eventually changed ownership, we were somewhat worried that we would lose the cozy, friendly relationship we had with our wedding venue.
We were so pleased when the new ownership did everything they could to honor our former contracts and offer the same friendly service, as if we had known them for years as well!
Additionally, many renovations have been made to update the venue. Rooms are now modernized, the lobby/bars are warm and inviting, and the atrium is a stunning locale for a ceremony. Their new menu packages are also mind boggling; to this day our guests like to tell us that they had never seen such an extensive spread at a wedding (which was also delicious)!
The Shore Club made sure that we had everything we needed and then some. The staff went above and beyond securing us rooms to get ready in for our henna artist, opening the bar early for my husband (who is a huge soccer fan) and his groomsmen so that they could watch an important soccer match, and providing transport to the lake for photos.
With all that being said, the pièce de résistance: the night before our 6 a.m. flight to Aruba, we call the limo company to confirm our trip to the airport. They have no record of our reservation. Who comes to the rescue? The Shore Club yet again; Billy offers to come pick us up at 4 a.m.
We can’t say enough wonderful things about the exceptional team and we are so happy to have celebrated such a milestone at The Shore Club.

Spring Lake’s “The Shore Club” knocked it out of the park for our daughter’s wedding a few weeks ago!
Our daughter was one of those brides who had to send out 3 save the date cards due to Covid. When we found out that the Doolans had sold to new owners and we had already rescheduled 2x due to Covid, we were on alert. The new owners immediately put our minds at ease and honored the preexisting agreement.
Fast forward to September 2021…after filling every room at the hotel with our guests, we saw the rooms were beautiful and the linens top notch and the employees who went out of their way to make it a special weekend. There is still some work to be done in the rooms, but we were very pleased at how much was accomplished in such a short time given all the material and resource shortages driven by Covid.
The wedding day was perfect. The Atrium was bright and comfortable for the ceremony and party rooms clean and elegant. Our guests were very happy with the quality and quantity of the cocktail hour and reception food, drink and service. The surf and turf was a nice touch for our Beach wedding.
Shout out to Chelsea, Brian, Pam, Terry, Nicole, Penny and Billy. They helped us navigate the expected and the unexpected. In fact, when a local car service bailed on the wedding couple the night before they were to travel to Newark Airport for their honeymoon, Billy called all his contacts and given the late notice from the original car service, Billy said “don’t worry, I’ll take you myself” on his day off!
We are excited to return when The Shore Club opens up their Steak House, Roof Top Bar and other upgrades.

Doolan’s Shore Club
We had our wedding here this past June! We were such last minute planners, but Susan made sure everything was absolutely perfect on our big day. We had a brunch wedding and the food was amazing! Amazing service!
This is the best service that I've ever received! Susan and the staff at Doolan's did a great job making sure that our wedding was perfect. Anytime that I had a question (which there were tons of) and I emailed Susan I immediately had a response from either her or someone on her team. We received a ton of compliments from our guests about the service and the food and many of our guests LOVED the cocktail hour and said it was the best they've ever been to. I do have to say, our maitre d, Penny went above and beyond. She made sure that everyone was where they needed to be at certain times, made sure that I saw all of the displays, always checked in with me to see if there was anything that I need and made sure that my husband and I had time to eat during our wedding. She was so sweet and amazing! The worst thing that happened on our wedding day was that my husband accidentally dropped his ring down the drain while washing his hands and the team at Doolan's had this issue resolved immediately and we had the ring back within 5 minutes. Everything was amazing and well worth the price. Thank you Susan, Penny and everyone else at Doolan's for a great wedding!

Absolutely Amazing
We were married at Doolan's in May and I cannot say enough good things about it! This was the first venue we looked at and as soon as we walked out we knew this was the place! Susan and her team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Very responsive and helpful with any questions that came up. The day of Susan made sure everything went perfectly, even remembering things I had forgotten about. And the Food!! Our guest are still raving about the food, the cocktail hour alone was some of the best food I've ever had, and there were so many options. Both my husband and I got to pick our favorites and everything was top quality. Ending the night with the Goodbye station was a huge hit also. I am so thankful we found Doolan's, they really made our day absolutely perfect!!

We had our daughter’s wedding at Doolan’s Shore Club last weekend. They wanted a beach ceremony and this one fit the bill in so many ways. Anyone on the fence about this venue, all I can say is… book it! Susan Doolan is wonderful, professional and so easy to work with. She responded so quickly whenever we had questions. Her staff bent over backwards to be sure everything was in order. We brought a lot of stuff to get the room set up and they did it quickly, & perfectly with no instruction. I was truly amazed when we looked it. It was just as planned. The food… we did the shore club package…so much delicious food...so much variety, ice sculpture and beautiful, delicious, personally designed wedding cake included! Doolan’s is really a beautiful place and has a lot of great areas for pictures. On top of all of this the price is great! I highly recommend this venue, they go out of their way to make the day perfect

The Venue is so beautiful. It was the first 2nd Venue we saw of 15 places and immediately fell in love. It reminded us of one our our favorite place which is New Orleans. It also has a elegance about it. Definitely not another cookie-cutter venue. The Owners and staff make you feel like your family and loved, and are completely willing to assist in all. The is also quite exquisite. Amazing place and well worth the trip.

Doolan's Ensured I had the BEST and Most Magical Wedding EVER!
Hands down, this was the best venue I could have had my wedding in. Let's start with the charm, the place has been owned by the same family since the 1950's and it has held it's charm. Everything is beautiful! Secondly, this venue has a small hotel attached to it. This is very convenient. While not all rooms are updated, they are kept VERY clean and they are quite spacious. The bridal suite is INSANE. Basically, it is two hotel rooms made into one. It has two bathrooms, a murphy bed, a huge king size bed, room for the makeup and hair people, huge mirrors, and plenty of room for everyone to get ready. The staff, is impeccable and attentive. The response rate is almost instant and the packages for weddings are very reasonable. Doolan's has some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted. Our cocktail hour is still being talked about. The food was so good, I heard that people didn't want to leave cocktail hour to go into reception. Choosing Doolan's and working with Susan and her staff was the absolute BEST decision I made for my wedding to the love of my life!

When we walked in, Susan greeted us, gave us a tour & answered all of our questions. We had some requests to include traditional Portuguese food & accommodate guests with food allergies. Any request, Susan found a way to fulfill it perfectly. We loved the cocktail hour room, their prices were extremely reasonable, for a June Sat. night. Our guaranteed count was 100 & that they included so much (centerpieces, signature drinks 30 mins before cocktail hour, 20 room block onsite to name a few). We went to a few tastings prior to choosing our food & the selection was unbelievable. We booked the Shore Club package with Surf n Turf as 1 option for dinner. Many guests enjoyed & it portions were generous. All guests stated the food was delicious & there was a lot of it. Some wished they had more room to try it all. Leading up to our day, Doolan’s confirmed all the final details & we were able to drop off everything on Tues./Wed. before our Sat. wedding so we didn’t have to worry & they could go through it & ensure everything we wanted was completed. Tom, our Maitre’D, was fantastic & attended to our every need. Many guests told us we wouldn’t eat/drink anything during our reception. Tom ensured we ate, had whatever we wanted to drink & refreshed our drinks when they had been sitting a long time. During our cocktail hour, Tom tinted champagne to our color blue. He kept the night on schedule without us feeling rushed. Later, we found out from several guests, that Doolan’s accommodated their dietary requests, even providing 2 steaks for the surf n turf. 1 guest had severe food allergies, the next morning Doolan’s made him breakfast & brought it to him. Doolan’s goes out of their way to ensure your day is exactly how you envisioned it & even better. They made it stress-free & we had nothing to worry about as Susan & her team had it under control. We would definitely suggest Doolan’s as a venue to anyone looking for extremely attentive customer service at a wonderful price!

I knew I wanted to get married down the shore. I grew up there and I miss it terribly. As I started researching venues, however, I quickly discovered you pay a premium to be right on the beach. Enter Doolan's. I had my prom there years ago and remembered thinking the food was good and they threw a great party. And since they were so close to the beach (maybe 5 minutes), I figured I should check them out.
From start to finish, Susan Doolan was a consummate professional. She knows exactly what she is doing and her staff are well-trained, responsive and friendly. Susan herself was a pleasure to chat with and was very knowledgeable, offering suggestions and solutions that my overwhelmed brain couldn't reach. Doolan's can arrange for the beach wedding of your dreams or you can have the cermony on-site in the lovely garden/gazebo, which is what I opted to do. There are parks nearby for pictures, the beach (of course) and there are many lovely shots that can be taken right on the grounds of the hotel. Yes, attached hotel for your convenience!
From the feedback I've gotten from guests, everyone enjoyed the night. I know *I* had a great time but I'm probably biased. The food was great (wait until you get to pick all those appetizers and captain's stations, god I wish I was able to eat more that night), staff was accommodating, the drinks were flowing and there were zero hiccups. Doolan's ins't a place that hiccups; they've been around for a long time and can reliably throw a great wedding no matter what you have in mind. They have several menu options to fit your budget and offer lots of add-ons. If you can think it, they can probably do it.
Susan and the staff were always available to answer questions offer advice and help. We were thrilled with our wedding and so happy we chose Doolan's. You won't be disappointed :)

After attending one of Doolan’s Bridal Open Houses we were hooked and new we wanted to have our wedding reception there. My bridesmaids and I also utilized one of the bridal suites to get ready before heading to our church ceremony. Susan and the rest of the employees at Doolan’s were nothing but accommodating, professional, and flexible from vision, to finished product. My now husband’s family is Polish, and Susan allowed us, and helped us to incorporate some of their culture in the wedding as well... from the bread and salt tradition, to having tables of Polish food set up during dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better reception venue! Doolan’s helped make our reception a night to remember... we look forward to having dinner there on our anniversary for years to come. Doolan's Shore Club did an absolute wonderful job for my Wedding on April 28, 2018. The food was fantastic and plentiful! Everyone is still raving about how delicious everything was. The reception space was beautiful! Thank you for letting me us the lanterns for the centerpieces, they were great! The staff was incredibly helpful the entire night, if we needed something they got it for us immediately. Also, our Maitre D went above and beyond to make our day special! Whatever we needed, she got us immediately. She was constantly checking in and asking us if we needed anything. At the end of the night everything was packed perfectly and organized. I would recommend Doolan's to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Thank you for making my wedding a day I will treasure forever!

From start to finish everyone at Doolan’s was amazing! Susan was always available by email or phone to answer any questions we had. Their wedding packages include so much more than many other places (signature drink, chair bows, champagne toast). Susan was always very attentive to specific details that we wanted for our wedding and was even there the night of to make sure everything went smoothly. Our maître d went above and beyond to make sure that we were attended to and always had a drink. Everyone at Doolan’s made us feel the day was just as important to them as it was to us. Everything came out exactly as I had imagined it and I couldn’t be happier we chose Doolan’s to celebrate our special day.

I cannot describe how perfect our wedding at Doolan's Shore Club was. We attended a bridal shore at Doolan's and my husband and I fell in love with our venue. We chose the Shore Club Package and got SOO much food during our cocktail hour and reception. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was and how great the service was. My husband's favorite part was the "goodbye station." Guests were able to have sliders, cheesesteaks, and milkshakes as they left our wedding. I loved the fact that our entire wedding took place at Doolan's from the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and the after party in the lobby. Then, our guests stayed over at the hotel and joined as for a brunch at Doolan's the next day. It was truly beautiful and stress free. If I could do it again, I would pick Doolan's every time!

We could not have picked a better venue for our daughter's wedding (10/21/17). Susan Doolan and her staff out did themselves. The staff was so attentive to all the tables at the reception. Everyone loved the food and we are still getting a lot of compliments on the food and the day. I would highly recommend Doolan's for any affair. Thank you Susan and staff for a day to remember. From booking our venue and hotel rooms, to the rehearsal dinner, to getting ready, to the incredible setup for the ceremony and reception hall, your venue went above and BEYOND! Penny our maitre d was SO helpful the day of our wedding and we certainly felt like the most important people there! Everyone says you never eat at your own wedding---well I was able to try EVERY app at the cocktail hour, and everything at dinner (all due to the amazing staff who ensured we had whatever we needed). Even our wedding cake was included in our package and we were able to choose whatever we liked from Chocolate Carousel.
ALL of our guests RAVED about the location, FOOD, service, cleanliness of the rooms, friendly waitstaff, promptness of getting whatever they needed, etc etc etc. The goodbye station was a huge hit and a wonderful surprise for all of our guests!
We couldn't believe how well oiled the Doolan's wedding machine truly is. I never even felt like I had to say anything. I had an issue with my dress and immediately got double sided tape from Susan, which corrected the issue right away (who even has that handy?!). Everything was set up and broken down perfectly and we are SOOOOOOOO grateful for everything!
Susan, it is no wonder Doolan's is such a reputable wedding venue, and it is ALL thanks to you!
I will be referring every newly engaged couple to Doolan's!

Doolan's was the best choice of venue I could have ever made! My husband and I went in to have a consultation and tour with Susan and she really knew what she was talking about. This is a family owned and operated business that included everything that we were looking for in our wedding venue. The price and value of what we were getting was above and beyond any other venue we checked out. It did not take us long to book with Susan and start the planning process! Susan, Nicole, Penny and the whole team were so helpful when it came to every last detail to our perfect wedding. I thought I would overwhelm everyone with all of the decor that I was bringing in but soon realized they knew exactly what to do with everything. I checked everything over and approved all of the beautiful work that Nicole put together for our Romantic Disney wedding theme and was so excited at what an amazing job she had done for me. Penny was our Maitre' D and she was fabulous! She was on top of everything! She showed me the room before the ceremony began and helped me find something I thought was missing. She added all the finishing touches and obviously knew what she was doing because she put the reception room together so beautifully! She came to find me several times to get me drinks and food or whatever I may have needed. After the party ended, Penny and her team were on top of their game putting everything away neatly and carefully. Overall this venue and the whole staff was the best choice my husband and I could have made! Everyone loved the food, the beautiful lobby, the amazing atrium, and the ease of being able to stay overnight in the hotel rooms upstairs. There was one downside to this, no elevator. This made it difficult for the bridal party to run up and down to get pictures and necessary items from the rooms. This also makes it difficult for those who have trouble walking, although the staff was accommodating as could possibly be.

Doolan's Shore Club was exactly what my husband and I had in mind for our wedding ceremony and venue! We knew when we went there for a bridal open house that it was the one for us! With prices that are very reasonable along with the amount of items (wedding cake, table decor, centerpieces, food options, room block, etc), and with how beautiful the venue is, we had to go for it! I am so glad that we made our choice of going with Doolan's. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful, and the staff was so helpful to our bridal party in making sure that everyone was in order and where they belonged. Our reception room was decorated beautifully with minimal instruction!! The staff was so friendly to everyone, and the food was incredible! Everyone had wonderful things to say about our wedding, and we would not change one thing about it! Thank you Susan and Doolan's for making our wedding day the absolute best day of our lives!!!

Doolan's is a beautiful, old-fashioned catering hall. We read many reviews & spoke with several people who had their wedding with Doolan's Shore Club after visiting and booking with them, & no one had a single negative thing to say. We had our Friday evening September wedding with them, & we have to agree regarding how amazing this place is.
We worked with the owner, Susan, throughout the planning process, as well as her wonderful staff. They were professional, thorough, accommodating, & flexible. Equally as important was their very reasonable pricing, which made this location work with our budget & allowed us to make our small seaside wedding happen- they really do include so much & you can customize it to fit what you want. What was also great was the hotel attached to the venue, which alleviated my concern for shuttle service or my guests driving inebriated. Susan ran our ceremony at the Bradley Beach Gazebo, and it went flawlessly.
Susan & her staff kept on top of our event, making sure everything was how we wanted it. Susan was accommodating with moving times around when we realized we needed more time for pictures, the staff was kind enough to make sure my husband & I ate during our reception, & when we finally made it downstairs the next morning late for breakfast, the staff stopped breaking it down to make sure we got food and coffee.
The food was amazing, & every one of my guests raved about it. There was *so much* of it. The cocktail hour was abundant (so I hear) & bar service was great. We did hear a bit about the dated condition of the hotel rooms, but they were clean, well-appointed, & there were no issues.
Every question was answered, every concern addressed, & every request accommodated. The food was awesome, the service perfect, & we had an overall outstanding experience with Doolan’s. It was a true pleasure to work with every one of the staff members, & I hope to be able to have another event there sometime in the future (or attend one!).

I got married on April 29, 2016 and it was a day to remember. Every single thing about Doolan's was perfection. We spent the entire day there, they provided us with outstanding service. My entire bridal party got ready in the massive room downstairs & were accompanied the whole time with the staff making sure that we had everything we needed. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were exquisite (especially for servicing almost 200 people!!!). Susan really does such an outstanding job. She is so professional and wants to make sure everything is wonderful and fits your needs. After shopping around to a few different venues, we knew right away that Doolan's was our choice. They offered so much more than any other venue. We even got to enjoy a wonderful breakfast the next morning with all of our guests who stayed the night. My husband and I had our wedding at Doolans two nights ago and it was fabulous. Susan and her staff were always so easy to work with and accommodating to our every request. Ever since our first visit we loved the old charm and the glam factor. We also loved that the motel was attached so it made it easy for out out of town guests. The food was amazing on each tasting and the actual day. Not that we got to eat most of it because you know the bride and groom are always pulled in every direction! What an absolute pleasure it was working with everyone here. From seeing the venue for the first time to the time we left the morning after our wedding everything was perfect. We had the Shore Club package and it was above and beyond the value. The food all fresh and amazing, all we heard that night and today is nothing but compliments on the variety of food and how good it was. And so happy we could have a custom station at cocktail hour... a bacon bar! What a hit that was, not only did Susan research it more for us but they nailed it. The bacon was flying off the table.
The atrium for our ceremony was decorated beautifully, and the ballroom just perfect. Brenda our Dedicated Maitre D’ was great, she nailed it with taking care of us. Rob our one bartender made sure our bride and groom drinks were exactly how we wanted them made. And Susan, she made it so easy to work with her and answered every question we could have had. It was a perfect day.

We used Doolan's for both our rehearsal and wedding venue. There are not enough words to explain how perfect my wedding day was thanks to the doting staff at Doolan's. Susan was so accommodating and flexible. If I ever needed to adjust any of my plans, there were no issues or problems. The staff was so on top of everything for both events. I highly recommend this venue for any event. Everyone raved about the service and food. Amazing!!!

We held our wedding ceremony and reception party at this beautiful venue. Susan Doolan is so professional and very friendly, she knew what we wanted and served it up. All our guest thoroughly enjoyed the food that is prepared there and the gorgeous scenery. We had a winter wedding held in the atrium, it really was stunning.
We also held our rehearsal dinner here and they really are so accommodating being that we had quite a few guests with a gluten allergy and some with dairy allergies and yet everyone was able to enjoy plenty of the food.
The best bang for your buck truly!

This place is beautiful! The location is very nice. Outside can use some improvements but the inside is gorgeous. Susan is absolutely amazing. She worked with us to solidify our date in August. She worked with our budget which helped us realize that Doolan's Shore Club was right for us. We only toured this location and knew that it would be perfect. Although the big day is months away I know it will go smoothly thanks to Susan and her staff. I'm so excited!!!!!

When my husband and I started looking for venues we were in agreement on a few things: needed to be by the Jersey Shore, needed to have the hotel within walking distance of the reception, and the price had to be reasonable since we were inviting almost 150 people. We had looked at a few places prior to meeting with Susan at Doolan's and we immediately fell in love with the lobby alone. The double staircase is GORGEOUS for pictures. As we toured the location, we realized this was the venue for us: the ceremony room is beautiful, the reception hall has the biggest dance floor I've ever seen, and everything was all at the location so once there for ceremony, guests didn't have to leave. When the day finally came, I worried because I didn't have a wedding planner and was handling a lot of the details on my own, but obviously couldn't be decorating and getting ready at the same time. We were so blown away by the quality of service and attention provided by Susan and her team. We had a lot of stuff that we brought in for decoration and for guest interaction and they were able to handle it all. She made sure that my guests and husband and I were taken care of at all times. We also did the brunch for our guests the next day and it was perfect. It is a beautiful venue, the food was amazing, and the staff is very accommodating. We got married on a Friday in winter and the price couldn't be beaten. I couldn't have imagined my wedding any other way! Thank you so much!

Doolans is the first venue that we toured, and I knew right away that this was our place ! We toured another venue in spring lake just for good measure, and boy it didn't compare one bit ! Even from our initial tour, Susan went above and beyond - she spent almost two hours with us that day ! (The other venue had us in and out in 20 minutes.) That is the benefit of dealing with a family-owned business ! Susan truly loves what she does and makes everything so smooth and easy. We only had a 5 month engagement ... Which may have been stressful if we had booked somewhere else.
The ceremony room is GORGEOUS - our wedding was on a sunny day in October - the Windows in that room make is very special. And the reception room is beautiful, too. We had about 100 people, and the tables were set up perfectly. The food is FABULOUS - definitely isn't like typical wedding food you might get elsewhere. We got compliments for weeks afterwards !
They also have a cash bar open until about 1 am, so after our reception ended at 8, the party didn't stop !
Doolans truly went above and beyond what I would expect for a wedding venue and definitely exceeded my expectations. I recommend doolans to EVERYBODY !!

Doolan's Shore club was like a fairytale wedding.Everything since the day we booked our wedding until the day after our wedding was smooth sailing. Susan (the owner) is an amazing woman with patience, compassion, and understanding. Susan took care of us all the way! Anything we had our doubts on (is the ceremony space actually gonna look nice the day of?) IT DID! (can these people pull off two weddings at the same time?) THEY DID! there was another wedding the same time as ours and for the most part- We never crossed paths at all! (exempt during the after party at the bar which just made it a merrier after party!) We did two tastings before our wedding and loved everything. The food here is to die for- my husband and I will absolutely be back for dinner on special occasions! The tastings however show no justice for the displays they create during your actual wedding. Our cocktail hour was above and beyond with so much food I honestly didn't even get to see half of it (Bride problems) The Viennese table was amazing as well considering they practically dedicate an entire room to it! Our dinner menu was Caesar salad, ravioli, and the choice of Surf and surf, Chilean sea bass, and stuffed chicken. Every item was to die for! I would also like to mention our Maitre'D Brenda- she was amazing and never left our side! There is also a young guy (mexican??) who didn't leave my side from the rehearsal dinner, to getting ready the next morning in the bridal suite, and breakfast the day after the wedding. He is a server in the restaurant but dedicated himself to me personally making sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. The morning after the wedding i woke up (first one awake in the entire hotel- I'm an early bird!) and he took me straight to the kitchen and handed me a big glass of water and coffee! The hotel rooms- they look run down from the outside but no fear, inside they are beautifully decorated with modern pier one decor! I HIGHLY recommend dollars shore club !!

Doolan's Shore Club was beyond amazing for our daughter's wedding. From our first meeting with Susan Doolan, through the entire planning process, everything was clearly explained. The actual reception was beyond magical! The room was set up so beautifully with both their decorations and items we had too. The food was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and all the requests from our guests were met with smiles and prompt attention. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure that the evening was perfect. When my daughter's dress suffered a mishap a staff member ran and got scissors; the bride was able to continue dancing!! All of our guests left saying they had never experienced such an amazing reception; one guest called it "the wedding of the century"! Doolan's is the perfect venue for a wedding reception!

Doolan's wowed us all, absolutely amazing venue! The staff went above and beyond and I felt very comfortable putting our day in their hands. Great attention to detail, unbelievable food (quality and quantity) and wonderful atmosphere! Having rooms after the wedding was the perfect ending to our day. We were able to spend time talking to our guests at the bar after the reception and then see them for brunch too!

We had our wedding at Doolan's on July 26, 2015 and they exceeded ALL of our expectations! From the service to the decorations to the food, they were absolutely fantastic.
When we began our search for a vendor, we wanted to have a beach wedding but were becoming discouraged by the outrageously high prices just to have an oceanfront ceremony. Then, we stumbled upon Doolan's--a GEM! Their prices were within our budget and when we visited the venue, we knew that it wasn't because it was "cheap" but because it was just a really good value.
Everyone LOVED our wedding and said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. They said it was beautiful and that the food was fantastic! Even those guests who often find things to complain about did nothing but RAVE about how awesome Doolan's was! All of the food--from cocktail hour to dinner to dessert--was fantastic. (I've yet to eat a salmon that tasted so yummy.) It was picture-perfect.
As the bride, I was so grateful for Susan's willingness to accommodate my wishes, she even said that if it rained (which it didn't) we could call it an hour beforehand and move the ceremony from beachfront to indoors. That type of service is rare! My mother-in-law raved at how well the staff took care of the grandparents of the groom (who were our eldest guests there); they brought them ice cream and water and even made them coffee an hour before breakfast started. The staff always made certain guests were taken care of.
We also loved Doolan's because of their whole package--from them decorations and set up, to catering the food, to having rooms for guests to stay in overnight (at a VERY reasonable price with very comfortable beds, might I add!), to having breakfast for guests in the morning! It was like a Part 2 to our wedding when we got to see all of our loved ones at breakfast at Doolan's the next morning!
Doolan's truly made our day wonderful, special, and easy and I highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

From the moment we booked we were treated exactly how a bride and groom would want to feel. They were available to meet and answer all questions. Kevin was really helpful and flexible and Susan's experience in the wedding planning made it less stressful and more enjoyable. The food was amazing each and every time we went for tastings and our guests raved about cocktail hour and the Viennese table specifically. It was really nice to have the bar open afterwards for our guests and the rooms attached made it that much easier for our guests and we were able to say our goodbyes at a breakfast offered for the next morning. The amount of entities that Doolan's has to offer is unmatched and the service is highest quality.

We absolutely loved our wedding reception. Our cocktail hour was wonderful. We got so many compliments about the food both at the cocktail hour and reception. They did an amazing job setting up the room. The staff was professional and helpful the entire night. They made sure my husband and I had anything we needed. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Doolan's on May 15th and everything was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The planning process was easy and seamless. Anytime we had a question, we emailed and received a response back within minutes. We never felt rushed or pushed in any direction. Susan was amazing and so down to earth. I was thrilled to see everything came together even more perfect than we had imagined. They even took our invitation and created matching menus for each of our guests!!!
We were looking for a venue with an onsite hotel, however had a little charm and uniqueness. We entered Doolan's and were blown away by the beautiful staircase. If you are looking for something similar, this may be your place.

What a Bang for your Buck!!!!!!! First of all Doolan's has one stop shopping.... you can get married there, have your reception there, then sleep there and get up and have breakfast the next morning. The food tasting alone before the wedding was worth it. The staff at Doolan's are laid back and easy to work with and are extremely accommodating. We got married outside by the gazebo and they made it look beautiful with new Spring flowers and they even supplied the runner. The food at the cocktail hour was not only endless, it was delicious. The reception was unbelievable, the table cloths, chair covers, center pieces, and plate chargers were all included. The food at dinner was amazing and the staff was fantastic, constantly checking on us to make sure we didn't need anything and did the same for the guest. Then we were able to crawl right upstairs to our room. They are clean and the beds are comfortable, plus the prices are reasonable so your guest are not spending a fortune to stay the night. The package we had included breakfast the next morning, which was so nice because we got to see everyone again and talk about how great everything was. I would highly recommend Doolan's hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doolan's did a great job with our recent wedding. From the first time that we ever stepped for in there, we knew that we wanted Susan Doolan to help us plan our dream wedding. What really sold my husband and I was not only how welcoming she was, but that she really listened what we wanted and was willing to accommodate us. We got married on the beach and the ceremony was beautifully setup - her and her staff took care of everything for us. We were also very pleased with both the cocktail hour and reception and received many compliments from our guests, especially about the quality of the food. The waitstaff was also excellent and I was asked several times throughout the night if I needed anything. Although I was not really able to enjoy any food or cocktails myself because I was entertaining guests, it was much appreciated. I would recommend Doolan's to anyone!

We were EXTREMELY pleased with our entire Doolan’s experience. Their prices were very reasonable, and their package included lots of delicious food. Our guests were never hungry, we used their place cards, and their centerpieces. From the beginning, they offered many opportunities to taste-test the appetizers. We had a private taste-testing for our dinner choices. The food was delicious for the tastings and the wedding. Our guests raved about how good the food was.
I appreciated the fact that Doolan’s always responded to my emails within 24 hours. Nine out of ten times, Susan (the owner) responded to me herself. She was always very helpful and kind.
The day of the wedding went smoothly. We had our ceremony at a beautiful nearby church (Elberon Memorial Church), but Doolan's allowed my husband to get ready with the groomsmen there. The pictures came out great. Doolan's has so many places on site (inside and outside) where you can take great photos.
They set up everything the way we wanted it, and there was always someone around if we needed something. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night.
We did stay overnight. The room was clean, and we didn't hear any outside noise.
I always recommend Doolan's to all of my friends who are getting married.

Doolan's Shore Club over-exceeded my expectations when it came to a wedding venue. Susan and Bob were amazing and made the entire planning process a breeze. The food was amazing and there were many tastings included in the price (my parents were thrilled about this). On the night of the reception everything was perfect - the venue looked amazing - no shortage of food or drinks. All my guests are still raving about the food. All night the staff waited on my husband and I hand and foot and made sure everything was perfect! My husband works in the wedding industry and has seen the finest, most expense venues in NJ and the tri-state area and he claims Doolans is at the top! We highly recommend Doolans to all our friends! The food was 10 stars! Both at the cocktail hour and for the reception. Everyone raved about it. Doolan's was the perfect venue for our reception.They set up the rooms according to our wishes and they looked beautiful. It was also really nice to be able to have some close friends spend the night and enjoy breakfast together in the morning. Overall we were extremely satisfied and have no regrets. Susan and Bob catered to our wishes and made our wedding dreams come true.

My husband and I were married at Doolan's on March 8th and I don't have enough words to describe how amazing it was. Susan is very accommodating and she responds to you very quickly if you have questions. My family and friends still rave about how nice it was and how good the food was. Susan and Bob are great people and are very on top of things. I was a very anxious bride and they made all of my worries go away. I would recommend them to anyone.

We recently had out wedding here and it was beyond perfect. They are extremely accommodating and definitely go the extra distance to make your event perfect! We are still getting compliments on the venue and food!! Susan and Bob as well as the rest of the team are professionals in every aspect! They keep in contact and answer questions promptly which is so important when planning such a big event. I would recommend this venue to anyone and would have future events here!

Thank You SO much to Susan, Bob, and the Doolan's crew for making my wedding day ABSOLUTELY perfect. I booked Doolan's about 2 years in advance, because when I was there for a Bridal open house I fell in LOVE with the venue. During the planning process, Susan and Bob were amazing. They answered questions, never said no to anything we wanted or were looking to have, and were above and beyond accommodating! My husband and I would go to the open houses and every time we went there was something new - new food items, new stations. Every time we went we couldn't wait to see what new and exciting things they had. I really wanted orange napkins when we signed the contract, but she didn't have the color I was looking for, well Susan got them! After one of the open houses, Bob and Susan let us stay for a little bit in the room and look at table decor options, they even helped us out by showing us a few options that we could do and weren't in a rush to finish helping us. They truly are great and so easy to work with. Everything the day of was so relaxed, and I had no reason to stress. The staff was there by our side and would get us anything we needed. I made my own centerpieces, and other decor - we brought everything with us the day before the wedding, they stored it and set it up exactly how it was suppose to be. I have NO complaints - the day was so relaxed thanks to them and it was truly a beautiful and perfect day for my husband and I. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!!!

I can't say enough about this place. It was amazing. Not only was it affordable, but extremely accommodating. The food was excellent and there was plenty to go around. The convenient location of hotel rooms made it easy for guests to enjoy themselves. I'd recommend this place to anyone working on a smaller budget. We had a beautiful wedding and received several compliments from our guests regarding their experience. Thanks to Bob and Susan our wedding went off without a hitch.

We got married at Doolans Shore Club on 8/31/13 and I could not be happier with the experience! I actually cannot believe how smoothly, easy going and accomodating Doolans was. When we were deciding on the venue (by the way…once we went to Doolans we didn’t go anywhere else) I had a lot of questions and Susan and Bob answered all my emails in a very timely manner and with incredibly helpful and thoughtful answers. They were also always available to meet in person and had no problem with me stopping in alone, or with my husband, or with family or friends. Susan and Bob had great advice, would give us their opinion and expierence in certain things but always told us, to do what would make us happy. Words cannot describe my extreme gratitude for the Doolans Shore Club. Susan Doolan and Bob, and the entire staff were absolutley amazing. Susan and Bob really did make our wedding the most amazing day of our life. From day one Susan and Bob were down to earth, friendly, helpful, and fun and never made me feel like a crazy bride! The food was amazing; everything from cocktain to the very end! People are still telling me how awesome EVERYTHING WAS. I have absolutely no regrets at all and would HIGHLY recommend Doolans. Every Couple hunts for the perfect venue, and I knew then and now that Doolan's Shore Club was the perfect venue for our September Wedding!
We booked our wedding with Doolan's just before Hurricane Sandy demolished our apartment, and we had to relocate to Massachusetts temporarily as we continued to plan the rest of our big event. Susan Doolan and her staff were amazing at helping me keep our stress level down. Everything we had requested, was received with "Sure that's not a problem". They even accommodated our love for craft beer and worked with our favorite brewery so that we could have the beer that we love most on our big day. ABOVE AND BEYOND all expectations of any wedding venue in my opinion.
Being from Boston and my husband from NJ we knew that 85% of our guests would be traveling- it was essential that we found a "one stop shop" so to speak. Doolan's was that and more. Our wedding was 3 weeks ago and we still have family and friends telling us it was by far the best wedding they have ever been to- and their first compliment was the food.
Doolan's put out a spread like I have never seen before. In the words of my father "the food just kept coming out all night long". Our cocktail hour was so elegant and the staff was so personable. I will say as the bride I was a bit preoccupied and missed a bit of it, but all guests were over the moon for the food. Dinner was no let down either, the salmon was possibly the best I've ever had!
As a bride in this day and age I did quite a few DIY projects to add my own flair to the ballroom. I did my crafts, packed them up, labeled them accordingly, and Doolan's was happy to take my bins, and decorate the room so I could relax the morning of the wedding and prepare for my big day.
Our day was perfect, and Doolan's Shore Club was perfect from the ceremony all the way to the after party in the hotel lobby. We couldn't be happier with our decision!! Thank you Susan and Doolan's Shore Club!!

My wife and I had our Wedding at Doolan's in Spring Lake on Aug 10th. We were very impressed with the quality of service and how smooth everything went. I heard from many friends and family how nice the ceremony in the atrium was and how the food was plentiful and delicious.
Susan was very helpful in keeping everything in line and whenever we needed to talk to her she made herself available. I would absolutely recommend this venue to host any wedding or event.

Our wedding was at Doolan's Shore Club on September 20, 2013. Everything was beautiful and our dream come true! Bob and Susan took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel at ease on our wedding day. Everyone loved the food and the quality of service they received. We got the Shore club package which was everything you could possibly want for a wedding, and it was a great value for all that was included. I Can't say enough good things about Doolan's and their wonderful staff. Some of my guests stayed over in the hotel which was very convenient and put me at ease cause I didn't have to worry about them driving home late at night.. I would highly reccomend Doolan's for your wedding, you will be glad you did, it is a beautiful place and only 5 minutes from spring lake and the beach!

I recently had my wedding at Doolan's Shore Club and I can not have been happier. The bridal party started with a private cocktail hour that had amazing service with food and drinks and anything that we could possibly need. We met with the rest of the party for the remainder of the cocktail hour then started our reception. Everything was perfect. Doolan's even started our cocktail hour early since some of our guests had arrived early. Top notch service to all of our guests. The food was delightful, and the dessert spread was something I had never seen before. The smell was amazing and the taste was even better. I can not say enough positive things about Susan and Bob and their excellent service. I will recommend Doolan's to everyone. Thank you for my perfect evening!

Susan and Bob were so incredibly accommodating and helpful in planning my amazing wedding. The food and services were terrific. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. If I had a question, or special request they were more than willing to assist. They went above and beyond what was required of them and I just love them for their attentiveness! Doolan's made sure that every part of our day ran smoothly and went down without a hitch! During the planning process, whenever we had any question, they answered any questions we had. We had our ceremony there as well, and Bob and Susan made sure that everything went smoothly! The food was amazing and it just seemed to keep coming throughout the night! Overall, they made the entire wedding planning process and day perfect!

Doolan's Shore Club is where I had my wedding reception. It was everything I could of ever asked for! Everyone told me that our wedding was the best they had ever been to. Starting with the cocktail hour where the food selection was amazing and the room they have it in is so beautiful with natural light beaming in, instead of a dark gloomy room that most venues have. And then going right into the reception in the grand ball room. The room was amazing and can hold so many people, the food was delicious, and the cake was exactly what I wanted. Everyone there was so helpful and attentive. They even asked if they could make us a doggy bag for a late night snack for my husband and I. Doolan's truly is a beautiful place with hotel rooms attached so its great for the guests. We had the best wedding ever at Doolan's Shore Club!
