Can't say enough good things!

I couldn't imagine working with a better photographer than Donna and her team! My husband and I weren't really sure where to start. We didn't think engagement/wedding photos would really be able to capture "us." Donna did. The photos are more beautiful than I dared to dream of. And they are so completely representative of our style. Donna captured the more serious/romantic side, the silly goofy side, and the candid moments you want to remember. We had a very small wedding (19 people) and having Donna around was so easy and comfortable. She showed such kindness and respect in honoring my husband's parents who have passed, and in photographing family heirloom/traditions. I wish I could say more amazing things about working with Donna but her work speaks better than I ever could. I am so grateful to her for being part of our special day and the memories she has given us.

We cannot thank you enough Donna

The easiest decision of our wedding was made when Donna was recommended to us.

Her passion, enthusiasm and absolutely stunning photos made the decision a simple one. Knowing that we had Donna taking so much care documenting our wedding day in the amazing way she does really took the pressure off.

With her wealth of knowledge, incredible eye for detail and friendly and approachable disposition we had rave reviews both on the day and afterwards from our guests and bridal party. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile.

It really felt like we had another friend there with us throughout all of the crazy wedding planning and on the big day. We can't recommend Donna highly enough; going above and beyond, she is the woman you NEED behind the lens.

We are so in LOVE with our photos!

Donna is simply AMAZING! She really is more than a photographer. From the beginning through to the end she offered endless support, advice and guidance. On the day itself we felt in safe in her hands and it was like having a friend there with you ! There experience and professionalism shines through, allowing you to relax and have the best day of your life! We got our first round of photos through today and couldn’t be more happier with the results, Donna is seriously talented and genuinely loves what she does! Look no further, you have found your photographer!

Finding a photographer to document our day was tough. Luckily we found Donna. She is truly an artist with the camera. All of her equipment is cutting edge and she captures beautiful moments that translate beautifully on paper and screen. (which is important these days since often we are sharing photos from our phone!)

Donna took the time to chat with me before the wedding to understand what I was looking for.. The days leading up to the wedding he checked in to make sure she had all of the information needed.

Very professional and respectful from the first moment we met to not being in the way during the ceremony!

The best of the best!

We could not have asked for a better photographer. Donna Beck communicated directly with me leading up to the wedding and answered all the questions I had. She made me feel comfortable and at ease regarding the upcoming wedding day. On the day of, she and her assistant Katie were on time and greeted myself and the bridal party like they had known us for years—I knew from that point on they would make our special day even better. We had quite a large bridal party and many family members, but that didn’t affect Donna at all. She was calm, kind, and professional through the entire process. All the photos were completed in a timely manner and she even took the time to get shots that we had specifically requested. We received our album in only a few short weeks and we didn’t imagine they would be so beautiful. Donna and Katie had captured it all—down to the smallest detailed decoration. Looking through the photos was like reliving our wedding day. There is not one negative thing I can say about our experience with Donna Beck. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

Donna is the BEST!

Donna was wonderful for our engagement photos and wedding! For two people who never get pictures taken, she made us feel comfortable and gave us great direction. We felt like we were genuine in our pictures, not to posed. Donna was extremely professional but also a lot of fun. She was early for both of our times we were together and her 2nd shooter was just as professional and fun with us and our wedding party. Donna kept us on track and captured our day perfectly. Best of the best!

We had looked for different photographer and planned on “interviewing” a couple before deciding on which one. After all, this person will be with you, your friends and family throughout the whole wedding. After our first face to face meeting with Donna, my now husband and I were so excited by how great she was, we forgot about talking with anyone else. She is so nice and has such a calming vibe about her. On top of that, she was professional and quickly responded to any questions we had. Donna and her 2nd shooter Katie photographed our October wedding. On our wedding day, Donna and Katie did a phenomenal job interacting with our family and friends. The photos were BEAUTIFUL and had some stunningly creative pictures in addition to the more standard shots. I can’t say enough good things about working with Donna. Donna was by far our favorite vendor and we highly recommend her!

I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have Donna as our photographer. We knew from the moment we met with her that she was the one. She was warm, calm, engaging - just what you want on your big day. The communication before the wedding was great and the photography went smoothly before, during, and after our wedding. Our photos are beautiful and she was able to capture both the scripted moments that we knew we wanted as well as those candid moments we would have otherwise missed. To top it off, many of our guests remarked how professional and knowledge Donna was during the event. You won’t be disappointed.

Donna Beck is very professional, her work is high quality, and her customer service is the best out there! When ever we had a question or concern, she was quick to respond with a solution. One of the many things that we loved about Donna is how she wanted to get to know us personally and didn't treat us as if we were another paying customer. On the day of our wedding Donna showed up early to set up to make sure everything was working properly and was also very time oriented/organized. She was able to work with our other vendors and even helped out to make sure that our day went smooth. Donna is super friendly and we honestly wouldn't have chosen another photographer to take such amazing pictures on our special day!

Absolutely loved working with Donna! All 3 brides in our family have her as the engagement and wedding photographer. We all fell in love with her work— top notch quality that won’t cripple your budget. She has an artistic eye and possesses the knack of capturing those little moments that you might have missed. Donna Beck and I had chemistry from the start! She took the time to get to know my husband, then fiancé, and I months before our wedding day. She was attentive, thoughtful, responsive, and comforting. We had a few hiccups with the weather for our engagement shoot, but she assured me that all would be ok - and it WAS! Oh my gosh, Donna is AMAZING! We were lucky enough to have been introduced to Donna three years ago at my sister's wedding. Donna went on to photograph my sister's maternity photos, my nephew's newborn photos, and a variety of their family photos. Her pictures were always so natural, beautiful, and captured their personalities perfectly! When we were looking for a photographer for our own wedding, no one else crossed our mind! We reached out to Donna to discuss our out of town venue, as well as our popular date (smack in the middle of wedding season). Donna was SO helpful, informative, and flexible with our budget and planning! Our outdoor engagement session ended up being rescheduled twice due to weather, and Donna was ALWAYS honest, open, and proactive with communication. She always offered alternatives and ideas to work around the weather, but always made sure that we knew we could make the final decision. We did decide to wait for agreeable weather, and we were not left disappointed! Donna was great with artistic ideas, and made us feel so comfortable being in front of the camera (which we are usually NOT!). All in all, I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Donna, and I am so happy we chose her to capture the memories we will cherish forever. If you are in the market for a photographer, I highly recommend Donna, and I'm sure we will be contacting her to capture future memories as Mr. & Mrs. :)

Like many others have recommended, I was extremely picky with choosing my photographer. This person would create your first family heirlooms with her talent and skill, sharp eye and vision, and carefully choosing and investing something you'll have forever was an essential part of our celebration. Donna was my sister's photographer on their wedding. With that experience and after seeing the final results, I knew from then on that she will have to do my own wedding.

Fast forward to my own experience.
Donna is AMAZING. She was very flexible on working on our contract. Never once I felt pressured to commit. She was on point on the communication, replies and answer my inquiries right away.

Day off the wedding went without a hitch. She's very professional yet she has that very approachable aura. She led the day with confidence that made me feel relaxed and secured. She was able to capture all intimate and tender moments of my wedding.

There are a lot of options out there, people nowadays can purchase a DSLR and call themselves a photographer.
But few who are experienced, talented and passionate on their craft.

Donna is UNBELIEVABLE!! Look no further - you won't find better than her.

I'm an event planner, so when planning my own wedding, I was incredibly picky when choosing every vendor. I researched so many dozens of photographers, I stopped counting early on. We wanted to invest in someone with breathtaking, magazine-level quality, but they all seemed to charge an arm and a leg. We are so grateful to have found Donna, who's truly exceptional: she offers top-notch quality, but with reasonable prices. When you meet her, too, you can absolutely tell that she does it out of passion, not for the money!

From day one, Donna was a pure joy to work with. She is so genuine and friendly, and her depth of knowledge and experience (not to mention her artistic eye!) is incredible. She had fantastic suggestions for scheduling/timing, individual shots, and exactly where to take the best pictures around our venue. Throughout the whole day itself, she was calm (and calming for everyone around her), cheerful, efficient, flexible, and helpful with everything, not just the photography.

Most importantly, her photos are BREATHTAKING!! Our wedding day felt so magical to us, we didn't think any photos could capture that feeling - but Donna's did. The incredible lighting, vibrant colors, genuine expressions, and precious moments that she caught... wow. The results she gave us are truly magical. We just can't find anything negative to say about her, and we cannot possibly recommend her more highly!!

I don't know where to start with Donna. She is just great and fun to work with. She listened what I wanted and even more she knows how to read between the lines. She easily picks up my idea without me explaining anything. She served more than just our photographer. She works really good with other vendors and even helped out as a coordinator the day of. We all felt like she is a part of the family. She is just amazing! The pictures turned out great. We couldn't have asked for more. She did above and beyond. I cannot say enough about Donna Beck. As most brides know, your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. So finding a photographer that you can depend on to capture the perfect day is a HUGE undertaking. In my experience, I could not ask for a better photographer! Donna (and her second shooter Katie) were absoutely perfect. From the first day we met her until the actual wedding day, my husband and I felt totally comfortable with her. I corresponded with Donna in the months leading up to the wedding and she was always responsive. She requested I provide her with a list of shots that I had to have, and the day of the wedding, she went down the list and she made sure we got every shot I wanted. She guided us threw all of the poses and even helped with how to cut the cake! She got us our pictures within a few weeks of the wedding and there was not one picture that we didnt like. She did a great job editing them and cutting them down to the best shots.
Our experience with Donna could not have been better. If you are in the Sacramento area or in the Bay Area and need a photographer, DONNA BECK IS PERFECT. I 100% recomend Donna Beck Photography!

Donna was not just my photographer, but after the entire planning process she became my friend. After my husband and I met with her the first time during all of our planning, we knew immediately that she would be our photographer. She made my husband feel comfortable (it's so important that the guy feels comfortable - it's such a weird situation taking a million pictures) so we were sold! Her work, the way she works with light, and the ideas she has for poses were all so perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Taking pictures and feeling comfortable around a camera was awkward for my husband and I at first, but Donna made us feel comfortable, like naturals, pretty instantly. I highly recommend Donna and wouldn't ever think about getting my photos taken by anyone else!

Where do I even start? Donna is so awesome! She immediately makes you feel comfortable and is really good at directing you into different poses. She's super quick with communication too whether it is email or phone. Very important with so many moving parts of wedding planning! Donna Beck was the photographer for my daughter's wedding, and she was wonderful! The pictures were gorgeous! Donna and her assistant really captured the beauty, atmosphere, special moments, and fun of the day. They were very patient and easy going with all of our family and their requests for special shots. Donna got the pictures back to us very quickly (within a month), all 712 of them. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

We cannot say enough good things about Donna- she is an absolutely amazing photographer!! She took so many beautiful photographs from all parts of our wedding, and really captured our special moments. We are having a hard time picking which ones to print because there are so many that we love! Donna was great to work with as well- she is very friendly and personable, calm, accommodating, and professional. She made the entire photography experience very natural, not at all "staged" and fun! We had many wedding guests comment on how great so was too! We didn't have time for an engagement photo session, but in retrospect, we wish we had made time, because we know those photographs would have been amazing! We highly recommend Donna for weddings or for any other events!

We hired Donna for our wedding after having an incredible engagement session with her. She is fun, she is creative, and she makes modeling for the camera feel easy, even if you're shy. Every picture from the wedding is beautiful, and when we asked her to come back out to the reception for a sparkler exit, her and her photog-partner for the day were more than happy to accommodate. Photos were very important to us for the big day, and we're so happy we went with Donna (and Kory)! They captured everything perfectly!

We were thrilled with our choice of Donna Beck Photography for our wedding. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and was very responsive from the initial point of contact and through the entire process. Donna put us at ease on our wedding day and captured our special moments beautifully. She a ton of fun to work with, she does incredible work, and also kept everything on track in a tactful way. Omg I cannot say enough about Donna!! She was wonderful from my first email conversation with her. She was incredibly flexible and understanding and made taking our wedding photos so effortless and fun (I am normally pretty camera shy). It's impossible to describe how amazing Donna was in capturing our wedding! She did our engagement shoot back in June 2012 and our wedding a few months ago. From the moment we met her, she made us completely comfortable to just be ourselves and let her work her magic. She was amazing at answering all of our questions during the planning process, and worked a custom photography package so we got exactly what we wanted. We are over the moon with how our photos turned out and have gotten such an amazing response from our friends, family and other vendors in their interactions with Donna. On our wedding day, both Donna and her assistant were professional, relaxed and a pleasure to be around and smile for. We can't wait for the chance to work with Donna again!

Donna and her assistant were phenomenal! Planning a destination wedding was stressful and having to book vendors without ever meeting them in-person was something that really made me nervous. However, looking through Donna's website and the quality of her work in addition to her responsiveness and availability for a phone call anytime really put my mind at ease. I am a type A person and had my list of must-have shots and not only did Donna get every single one but the hundreds of others she captured were beyond expectation! I would highly recommend Donna to anyone and am waiting for the day we can ask her to do our maternity shoot!

Donna was WONDERFUL!! Personable, easy going and did a fantastic job. She was able to get us proofs and final pix sooner than most photographers do (from what I hear) and the guest book she did with the engagement photos is one of my favorite keepsakes from the wedding.

I chose to look at Donna's website based other great reviews. I loved the look of her photographs and emailed her to see if she was able to take our engagement pictures. She got back to me within the hour and she knew just what questions to ask to make our session special. After helping us figure out what kind of location we would be interested in, she suggested a number of venues to choose from, (thank goodness, because even though I've lived in the area for years I had no idea where to go to get that beautiful backdrop for our pictures!). The day of our session, Donna was even more wonderful. Her warm, professional disposition put both my fiancé and I at ease. Donna got us the proofs in about a week and the pictures were amazing! For a girl who always said she wasn't photogenic, that's saying something! I can't think of anyone better to capture those magical moments on your wedding day than Donna.

We used Donna for both our boys Bar Mitzvahs in the last 3 yrs. We wholeheartedly recommend her for any of your special events. Donna is warm, fun, extremely creative, professional and so reasonably priced!! She was able to capture the ambiance and emotion of our events. The picutures were amazing and photo montage video brought tears to our eyes and to our friends who got to view it on Facebook. She is truly amazing and her work really speaks for itself. Donna did our engagement photos as well as our wedding pictures. We couldn't be happier with our finished products! The photos were not only wonderful and professional, but they truly captured the moment. Going through the pictures of my wedding you can really get all those amazing feelings back! Donna has a great talent for capturing the shots that, no matter how many times you look through your photos, they make your heart skip a beat, or bring a happy tear to your eye. Donna was so lovely to work with. She was super laid-back and friendly. Not to mention, she was very patient with our untimely arrival. She knew how to work around the fact that I accidentally left my picturesque shoes at home and also knew how to deal with people in the backround. Now looking at my pics, folks are asking me who took my pre-wedding photos. She got our style and worked with our props. I feel that you don't come across photographers like Donna. She is divine!

Donna was an amazing photographer for my wedding! The pictures turned out better than I had imagined, they were spectacular! Besides the pictures, she was so helpful and went above and beyond my expectations. Whenever I had a question, she was so quick to respond, even the day before my wedding when I was freaking out about last minute details. She was great at calming my nerves. She even helped me with other aspects of my wedding by giving me ideas about things that she has seen before. We have recently worked with Donna on our wedding photography and a newborn photo session. She really is a WONDERFUL person and photographer. She's kind, professional, talented, artistic, and simply a delight to work with.

She's extremely accommodating and flexible - and really worked with us to meet all our goals with our photo sessions. She's a easy going, warm person - which is important when you're hiring a photographer for important life events. And most importantly, her photos are BEAUTIFUL.

I would highly recommend her to everyone!!! You will not be disappointed. The photos from both our wedding and newborn session are AMAZING. We plan to use Donna for our photography needs for years to come.

Donna was totally AMAZING!! She has spunky fun and very outgoing. She was full of ideas and made the whole process stress free. We talked over the phone and she gave me a few ideas then when the actual day came she had even more ideas in mind. She was so helpful not only on locations but outfits as well. She was overly prepared. We had done other engagement photos prior to meeting with Donna and we were less then satisfied, so when we saw the photos Donna had done for us for the first time we were so excited and over joyed with how perfect they were. Donna is patient and caring to your photo needs. We would definitely recommend Donna to any one who wants AMAZING classic photos to remember!!!!

I can't recommend Donna Beck enough as a photographer. We just recently received all the photos from our wedding and we were blown away!! Donna and her second photographer were AMAZING!! Donna was a god send to us!! My daughter was married in Maui in Aug. andthe worst thing happened!! My daughters wedding pictures didn't turn out at all!! We were so upset....what were we going to do?? We weren't going to be able to recreate the whole wedding!! We were however having a mainland reception in Nov, here in Ca. and then we found Donna!!! Donna heard what happened and she made sure Ericka and Ben had some terrific pictures. Donna was so creative and captured so many wonderful moments!! Now we have so many pictures to choose from. Donna has such an amazing way about her...she is so fun and fit right in with the party. She even made sure everyone took the pictures after her and made sure Ericka got everything she wanted!! On top of that she did this really fun photo booth. Everyone had such a good time!!! This was so different than Maui. Everyone that was in Maui at the wedding and then at the reception here commented on what a difference in photographers!! The one in Maui was rude and curt and Donna was so sweet and calm she made everyone feel so comfortable and we had fun with her. Now we have so many pictures that Ericka and Ben can choose from! If you are a Bride and Groom looking for a great photographer don't look any further!! Donna has such a warm and understanding personality. She loves what she does and is a natural at it!! She is so professional that she even took a look at the facility to make sure she would get the best pictures..and yep she even went on weather.com to figure out the best photo opportunities in any weather we were to face that day!! We received our photos in such a timely manner we were so pleasantly surprised!! She even sent us a little teasers of a few of the pictures only a day or two after our event!!! We were so grateful to find Donna. If we had known what we do now we would have taken Donna with us to Maui in the first place!!! It would have been worth it!! Again we were so lucky to have had this second chance and with Donna. We will forever be so grateful to her!! Thanks Donna!! Donna is absolutely wonderful. She was very organized and professional. Just a delight to work with. After our wedding pictures came out terrible, Donna did not hesitate to take us on for our mainland reception. She took great care of us and placed us in the photos and took her time to make sure tge photos looked great before she moved on. She was very patient and kind and even let our family take pictures as well. Her photos turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. It is so hard to choose the ones to put into picture frames they are all so amazing. Wish i would have known Donna from the start, we would have taken her to Maui with us. We used Donna Beck Photography for our wedding last month. I was so happy that we used Donna as the pictures turned out fantastic. We first met with her during our engagement shoot and immediately fell in love with her as a person and a photographer. She is very sweet and caring, and really took the time learn what our style was. Donna is very creative and knows just the right angles to take the pictures. Once we received our engagement pictures we knew we were in good hands for the wedding day. During our wedding day she showed up early and stayed later than was planned. I cannot say enough about Donna. Not only was she professional in her work and technique, she was beyond friendly and helped bring Brandon out of his shell during the photo sessions, which is NOT easy to do! Donna is phenomenal and our pictures are beyond AMAZING! She provided quality photos that truly captured the essence of our day. She was consistently professional, reliable, and personable. Our engagement shoot was perfect, she was able to capture our personalities while understanding our style all the while.
