DJ David was in the house!!
The DJ, David, met with us before our big day and really listened to our request. He created an easy to use Google Doc for us to share timelines and requested songs for ceremony and reception. His mixes kept everyone dancing! He was so easy to work with and we loved having him as a part of our special day! 10/10 David!!! -

Simply the Best!
David with DNA Entertainment is amazing!! He was the DJ for my daughter's wedding on May 11. The way he transitioned from one song to the next was absolutely seamless! He stuck to the schedule and kept everything perfectly on time. And he did a GREAT job of getting everyone on the dance floor... including the grandparents! I had several people tell me after the wedding that our DJ was the best. There were no awkward moments. He made the night so fun, and we will forever be grateful!-

Cannot recommend DNA Entertainment for your wedding or event enough! No only did David play fun music at our wedding reception, but he literally kept the entire not on track for us.
We keep saying he basically "MC'ed" the entire night because he kept everything on track and moving as far as cake, garter/bouquet toss, dances, etc. etc. etc.!
10/10 recommend
Also - if you're getting married, don't try and DJ the night yourself. We considered this option to save money but hiring DNA Entertainment was worth every penny for how much they helped and took a load off of us!!!! -

Great Wedding DJ!
We had a wonderful experience with David from DNA Entertainment! He was super responsive and overly helpful through the process. He was there to give suggestions if we were unsure of something. We had just 1 skype meeting with him in which we did the bulk of our song planning and David executed all of our requests flawlessly. Awesome experience!! -

Our wedding was perfect because of David! I remember everyone dancing and having a good time! He payed close attention to all ages when it came to music and everyone said they had a great time! We even added Karaoke for the last 2 hours and it was a BLAST! They set up a screen for lyrics and the whole night just flowed so well! Thank you so much! We had the best night of our lives! -

Best dj ever!
David was an absolute pleasure to work with. He created such a fun mashup for my father daughter dance that we had so much fun with. We had a delay due to pictures and he stuck with the plan and did a great job entertaining and stalling for us during that time. Since our wedding, so many people have commented on how much fun the dance floor was! No one wanted to leave when the wedding was over. Someone who wasn’t on the toast list tried to give one and he refused saying “as a wedding DJ I cannot upset the mother of the bride.” This is hands down the BEST DJ EVER!! -

David Created Cohesiveness for the Wedding Day
We loved having David not only create the mood for the ceremony using the bride and groom's selections of music, but he was able to transition smoothly to a celebration reception. He played a game with the room of tables that is so memorable, my church friends want to use it for a church dinner. He found ALL of our favorite songs and seamlessly guided the event without any of us really being conscious of it at the time. As Mother-of-the-Bride, I could relax, enjoy our friends and family and know that "David has this!" He created the song mashup for my husband and daughter's special dance and kept us all enjoying the joyful mood of the day. We can't wait to have another opportunity to get to enjoy his work again! -

Best DJ ever!
We had such a fun reception thanks to David! He kept the crowd going and everyone had a blast. We still have people saying it was the most fun reception they’ve been to. Our goal was to have a party and David delivered. He was super easy to work with and he truly cares about his couples. He was very responsive to emails and communication, and totally understands the craziness of wedding planning! Highly recommend!! -

Seriously stop looking for a DJ! David is perfect - super helpful and responsive, and able to adapt to your ceremony, whatever it may be. My guests danced the night away. Stop searching for a DJ now!
David was more perfect than you could imagine. He showed up to our wedding on time and promptly began setup. He was incredibly professional and kind all night. David worked the crowd and exceeded any expectations that we could have ever had. He got video of our night, danced with us on the dance floor, and even handed out huge glow sticks to the people dancing that he brought to our reception himself! I could not recommend anyone more! -

Phenomenal
David was hands down the best! I loved working with him on our wedding. He was so helpful and accommodating through the planning process and gave several pointers, advice, and sample timelines. I could not think of any room for improvement. The most important part was keeping the party going and david was great at reading the crowd and knowing exactly what to play, and when. I will be keeping him in mind for any future events as well as referring him to others. -

Amazing DJ with flawless customer service
We wanted a DJ who we could trust to deliver a flawless wedding and lively reception. David exceeded those expectation. He cared about our wedding just as much as we did. He assisted us in creating a timeline/schedule which was VERY helpful for us and everyone to stay on the same page. He was proactive and paid attention to all the small details. On the wedding day, many things can go wrong, but we never had to worry about the DJ because he was flawless. The reception was lively, and everyone had a great time. He easily took our impromptu song suggestions which really allowed us to enjoy the reception and be "in the moment". Would recommend to anyone. -

David (of DNA Entertainment) is a consummate professional. He answered every question I had (and did so quickly), helped me plan out my ceremony and reception timeline, and he generally had great suggestions about everything.. During the wedding, he had such a positive, affirming attitude (many of my guests talked about how much they loved the DJ.) I highly recommend him. A Great Job!

After seeing all of the positives reviews I decided to call David and inquire about services. He’s very professional and we setup a meeting with my fiancé. Highly exceeded my expectations!
I was initially unsure if I really wanted to spend the money to invest in a DJ for my wedding, but David went far above and beyond what I would have expected from a DJ! He knows so much about weddings, so he nearly coordinated what the whole wedding day would look like when we laid out a day-of timeline. I honestly didn’t have to worry about anything going as planned the day-of because he was overseeing it all. He came to me when it was time for different planned parts of the reception so I literally didn’t have to think at all. My husband and I just enjoyed the night and let him handle the rest! He is very responsive to texts and calls. You can that DJing is his full time job and that he loves what he does! Thank you David for a wonderful, stress-free day!! -

Great Wedding DJ!
David could not have been more helpful as our wedding DJ! He helped us figure out what kind of style and entertainment we were looking for and then made it so easy to add our own special details. He made sure that nothing was left unplanned: the cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter, last slow dance, they all had a song specially chosen for that moment. He also worked with my husband to secretly plan a surprise choreographed dance for the mother-son dance! David was also available to meet anytime we needed and was very responsive to calls/texts/e-mails. We had an amazing reception with a packed dance floor thanks to him! -

AMAZING DJ!! David Pickett did a great job with the music for our wedding ceremony and reception!! We had a specific playlist for the ceremony which he executed perfectly and when it was time to crank up the music for the reception we asked him to read the crowd so he could pick the music and he was on point!! I cannot say enough good things about David! He has been my DJ for over five years. I am the Student Council Advisor at a school of 2000 kids. David has been the DJ for all of our dances both big and small. I always judge a DJ by the reaction the kids have to songs at the event. If you hear kids screaming and running to the dance floor then you know they are having a good time, this happens often with David. He has worked with me on letting the kids request songs in the weeks leading up to prom and even requesting songs at prom. He always makes sure that he is playing clean versions of all songs. I have been hosting prom and other dances for over 12 years and David is by far the best, most professional DJ we have ever had.
He is not just a DJ. He also does a Twitter/Instagram wall for us, lighting, fog on the dance floor, and a CO2 cannon that was a huge hit this year. At the end of the event when I tell him to play the last song he always wants to keep going.
Last September we used David as the DJ at my son's wedding. I highly recommend David for all your DJ needs. You will not be disappointed!! We have him booked for the second Saturday of April for the next ten years. -

5 Stars all the way!!! When my wife and I attended the wedding university in Germantown and met David we were very impressed. We booked him soon after and boy am I glad we did. He was great!!! DNA Entertainment was with us every step of the way!!! From helping us plan certain aspects of our day to song selections to even coordinating parts of the process. I can't say enough good things about David and his business. I would recommend David to any friend I have that is planning an event but especially a wedding. Thank you David!!! -

David is excellent!! He asked me to make a request form a couple of weeks before my wedding and he loved compiling all the requests from my guests. The music was great, but more than just playing music David managed my reception. He created a timeline of all the events: introducing us, cake cutting, bouquet/garter toss, etc and took care of making sure everything happened in a timely manner. This alone is worth everything-he is a coordinator, MC, and DJ all in one!! Everyone raved about my reception and the ambience and flow are all thanks to David!! -

David was a pleasure to work with. He listened carefully to what the bride and groom requested, and provided exactly what they had asked for. He went out of his way to find specific music the bride requested. He is very personable, and interacted wonderfully with our guests. There wasn't any time that the dance floor was unoccupied. David was incredibly professional, kind, and accommodating about regarding our vision for our reception. He was agreeable in meeting with us a few times before the big day. We had our guests request songs for the reception and David really delivered on creating a fun and energetic atmosphere. We cannot recommend him enough. We had a wedding where we felt the need to have a DJ who could effectively keep the flow throughout the night and be professional. He was definitely the man. He was extremely professional and we were playing fairly conservative music. Even when we ran out of music on our dance playlist he picked perfect songs. We highly recommend him for all events! -

DNA Entertainment is just as much fun as they are professional and great to work with! They handled the music for our wedding ceremony and reception, and so many of our guests told us how great they thought the music was at both. Our wedding weekend was quite the production. We hosted a welcome party for out-town-guests on Friday night and a large and lengthy reception following our quick ceremony on Saturday that included a cocktail hour, an open bar, a formal three-course dinner, and hours of photo booth and dancing fun. We have an eclectic group of friends and family that traveled a long way (from 17 different states) to be part of our BIG DAY. We wanted to impress them and entertain them... and that's where David comes in. I spent a lot of time looking for the right entertainment. I ruled out hiring a band pretty quickly because that's not really our style. I wanted a DJ, but I couldn't find one in our immediate area (Tupelo) that fit our wedding style. I wanted someone who could provide an experience, a range of entertainment for the evening. We needed classical music for the ceremony. We wanted tasteful but fun music for the cocktail hour, soft music for dinner... and we definitely wanted to dance! I expanded my search through Wedding Wire to the Memphis area and found David Pickett with DNA Entertainment. David was so helpful in planning our music and entertainment. He had suggestion lists for all types of songs. He had all ranges of music and was willing to purchase any songs for us that he didn't have. He had game suggestions, timeline suggestions... His services went well beyond just music. Though I was pleased with the planning phase, I was impressed with his performance. From working with our wedding director and caterers to make sure our evening flowed as planned, to directing guests and making announcements, to teaching our guests how to wobble... he was an entertainer and one of the core elements to the good time that was had by all. You won't find a better DJ for your event. Thank you, David, for entertaining us and helping make our BIG DAY so memorable. -

David was a breath of fresh air in the midst of wedding planning madness. I wouldn't change a thing he did at our wedding! My husband, Tim, and I have nothing but EXCELLENT words to speak about DNA Entertainment. The "shoelywed" game was a hoot! David has such great ideas and conducts himself in such a professional and approachable, easy to work with, and FUN manor. He shared ideas with me on Facebook and via email and text throughout the engagement, which made him super easy to work with. I cannot even say enough good things about David Pickett! First of all he is very customer oriented, extremely prompt responses to my emails even at 1 or 2 in the morning, I'd get a response within 30 min sometimes! He made me feel as if I was his only client, which I knew wasn't true to how active his fb page is! He was extremely flexible in driving over an hour to meet with me to discuss details of everything we wanted. He not only DJ/MC'd our reception he also handled all of our ceremony music, as well as gave some great advice as to the timeline of the day and tips and tricks to help the day go smoothly. At times I really felt like he was doubling as my wedding planner also! He worked so closely with me on getting the song medley we chose for our first dance just right, and was happy to tweak every little thing until it was exactly like I wanted. Our guests RAVED about how awesome he was, not only hilarious, he knows how to read a crowd and keep the party going. He even got on the dance floor and did the wobble with us!! lol Just absolutely phenomenal, a master entertainer, there are not enough stars to give him on here! I cannot begin to express how pleased we are with the service David provided. Our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception was flawless and David was a big part of that. All the way from the first meeting with him through out the entire event, he was easy to work with, friendly, and beyond flexible when we wanted to make a few last minute changes. He even got out on the dance floor with us a couple of times which added such a personal touch! The last dance/send off could not have been sweeter than when he dimmed the lights and we all filled the floor dancing and singing to "I've Had the Time of My Life" from the movie Dirty Dancing. David was the DJ for our wedding in June and he did a great job. He was easy to get in touch with and was very flexible with song choice changes, timing, etc. We held our wedding and reception in our backyard, and I was nervous about everything coming together, but David was very helpful and made sure the event ran smoothly. He helped with our song selections and made sure the ceremony and reception music fit with the feel we were going for. The lighting he provided for the dance floor really made the reception fun, and guests were very entertained by the "shoely wed" game we played. Five stars are simply not enough.
From my initial email inquiring about availability on our date, David was prompt to respond, attentive to my needs, and focused on what my vision was for his role at our ceremony and reception. He was absolutely great. I'd reached to David about five months prior to my wedding and even with my nonstop emails he always treated me as if I was his only client. At that point I knew he was my DJ. But he's much more than "just a DJ" - by far. Anyone can play music, but David takes it to another level and I have plenty of rave reviews from our guests to prove it.
Bottom line is he is a pleasure to do business with and highly recommended. And David I will always remember the sweet advice you gave at the end of our anniversary dance. : )

David. Is. Amazing. He is so professional and personable and he was so accommodating! I first heard David at a wedding I was in and loved how open his was about request and how well he read the audience. I contacted him a little less than 2 months before the wedding and as we spoke on the phone I knew he was a perfect fit for us. We then kept in contact through email and met face to face about 2 weeks before the big day to finalize and create the schedule.
He has the best advise and suggestions if you have no idea what songs you want for certain events such as the bouquet toss and introductions. My biggest dilemma was what song my bridal party would walk down the isle to. He suggested the instrumental version to the first song with my husband and it turned out so beautifully it couldn't have been more perfect.
He arrived early on the day of to set up his equipment, he dressed very professionally and when he found out we had no wedding coordinator he instantly took charge. For the reception, he again lined everyone up, told us his plan on introductions, went to his table and kept the party going.

David was a phenomenal DJ. I had attended a wedding where he entertained in the past, and I knew right then that I wanted my wedding to be every bit that fun and personalized. He met with me and my fiance and gave us so many wonderful suggestions that we never would have come up with on our own. He listened to our likes, dislikes, and requests, and then planned out our perfect evening.

David with DNA entertainment did an excellent job. He played everything we wanted and nothing that we had on our do not play list. He even got out there and danced with us! He knows how to read the crowd and play accordingly. He was very thorough from the planning in the beginning all the way to the end. David was a great DJ. He played background music and acted as the MC coordinating cake cutting, bouquet toss, games, etc during our "formal" reception. Later, he was the DJ at our "after party" and kept the party going all night! We had a great time, and David definitely helped make the evening a success! -

I chose this DJ after seeing him at a bridal show. His personality, DJ set up, ideas, and games and videos were unique and caught my eye. He was extremely organized and very interested in accommodating what our wedding style was. He met with my husband and me and was always available for questions or concerns. He was willing to meet with us numerous times, whenever we called. The ceremony music and reception music went great. He was very responsive to what was going on at the reception and adapted well to the crowd. All of our guests enjoyed it and said he was wonderful. We agree! You won't find a better DJ! -

I cannot begin to tell you how much WE LOVED DAVID! We met him at my daughter's friends Bday Party and booked him for her NEON Party - he was so AWESOME that we booked him again for my oldest daughter's wedding and I am SO Glad we did! It was such a joy to work with David planning the music and atmosphere for our wedding reception in Memphis! From our first meeting to the our final dance, David made sure that every detail was ironed out and taken care of. His flexibility and willingness to work with me (a full-time graduate student and bride) through email made the planning process so much more enjoyable. During our meetings, his suggestions of music genres, timeflow, special moments/dances, and atmosphere helped us turn our perfect vision of our reception into a reality! David's personal touch and warm personality made me feel like making my wedding reception perfect and exactly what I wanted was the only thing he had on his plate. On the big day, even when the bridal party arrived nearly 45 minutes late because of pictures, David didn't miss a beat...and the guests would have never known it. The music that we chose with David helped get our guests of all ages out on the dance floor, and the dance party kept on going all night long, just like we wanted. Did I mention you couldn't beat his prices? David helped give me and my new husband the memories of a great celebration that will last for a lifetime. A 2 Z dj service.. Awesome! He valued the importance of every musical moment. The right music can make or break a special moment but in this case the dj was on point! I'm so lucky my sister in law found him! All my friends were so impressed they asked where he was from. Even with a lack of air flow he kept the party rocking! 5 stars without a doubt! Very fun and GREAT personality--which is very important! There is no question that you need this DJ at your event. He dj'd our wedding reception and made it come to life! He really knows his music and pays attention to the crowd and what they are enjoying. He played everything we wanted--without us even telling him! David was very reliable and always responded to emails or phone calls asap. While he wasn't extremely interactive, he didn't take away from our special day. We ended up choosing him after Rockin' Robin started becoming a drama king and nickeling and diming us and telling us how things were going to be instead of listening. David never once did that. He did everything we asked and never questioned it. -

David was an awesome DJ at our wedding, our guests cannot stop talking about how great he was and how much fun they had! He found every song I requested, even though they were very different songs, and even surprised me with a song from my favorite movie "How to Train your Dragon"!!!! I was so happy with the service David provided! He was available to meet with me as many times as I pleased before the wedding. He also did not give me any trouble when I gave him a list of songs I wanted played. He was dressed appropriately at the reception and did a great job MC'ing as well. David was EXCELLENT! He was very affordable for us and really worth every penny.
Some of the biggest things that sets him apart from all the other DJs was his price, honesty and commitment to excellence. You can tell this is his passion and he isn't in it for the money. For example, my wedding and reception were at two different parts of the wedding venue and he was the only one that wasn't going to charge extra to set up at both locations. I spoke with some of the more popular DJs in town and their prices were outrageous but even worse they were full of hidden fees. They wanted $50 extra for providing mics for the preacher and David did it as a part of his already low price. He also was affordable on his lighting package and I thought all of his equipment was of good quality.
He was willing to meet with us multiple times before the wedding and helped us develop a detailed timeline with our song list which helped everything flow as we wanted. He was always just a phone call or text message away... and very adaptable. I ended up emailing and texting him changes to our songs the day of the wedding. Also he did a great job feeling out the crowd and altering our songs according to the vibe of the night (some of the things we had scheduled on our timeline weren't really appropriate and he did great improvising). He started off playing classics getting everyone energized and by the end of the night we had to get him to stay an extra hour because everyone was having such a good time dancing. Truly a great experience.....
David was a great aspect to our wedding and I would highly recommend him if you are looking for someone that isn't going to steal the focus of your night... is affordable.... experienced... and entertaining.

David was absolutely amazing. From start to finish, one of the least stressful pieces of wedding planning was the DJ.
