  Wedding DJ

  We hired DJ Will Gill back in early 2020 after meeting him at his booth for a wedding convention. We interviewed plenty of DJs and everyone was great, but Will stuck out from the rest with his high energy and charisma. We had to postpone our wedding a couple of times due to COVID and each time he was very understanding and helpful in rescheduling. We were able to choose the exact options we were looking for from his wide and customizable package catalog, and he was able to accommodate the audio set up for the 3 different areas - ceremony, cocktail, and reception - that we had.
  
  In preparation for our wedding, he provided a shared spreadsheet that we could list specific song choices or playlist for each of the reception moments (cocktail hour, dinner, entrance, dance moments, etc.) and any notes to cover in our meeting with him about one month before the wedding day. During the meeting, we went over the song choices, pronunciations of names, and the timeline breakdown of the event so that everything would run as smoothly as possible. Will also worked directly with our coordinator in going over the timeline as well.
  
  On the wedding day, he was a one man production that kept all of the guests entertained, hyped up, and active on the dance floor. Will was on top of everything, sticking perfectly to the timeline, hitting every unique cue that we discussed during our meeting, and was very energetic and professional during each MC announcement and transition to the next moment. Then when it came to the dance floor, Will killed it! Our biggest pet peeves are when DJs don't read the room so they let songs play too long or don't transition well into the next hit. No problem at all for Will! He was always on top of every song, reading everyone's reactions and whether the song was hitting or not, and making the right transition to the next song when the moment called for it. He also kept note of exactly who was on the dance floor, playing the current club and retro hits for the younger crowd, while also catering to the older guests with line dances and oldies whenever they took over the majority. The dance floor was never empty throughout the night and many of our guests complimented the song selection throughout the night and after the party.
  
  For the total package of a wedding MC and DJ, we recommend DJ Will Gill!

  DJ Will Gill tops my list of best wedding DJ's I've worked with in over twelve years (350+ weddings). He is professional, prompt and understands his clients. And most importantly he will turn the night into an epic party with his jams and ability to read a crowd. He has an incredible energy and positive vibes which is EVERYTHING especially at a wedding reception.

  DJ Will Gill tops my list of best wedding DJ's I've worked with in over twelve years (350+ weddings). He is professional, prompt and understands his clients.   Incredible mc/dj!

  Will delivered an amazing set for our event that included editing the music for our ceremony, creating a beautiful acoustic ambience for our guests, classy MC skills, and even set up and hosted online streaming via Zoom for our entire event!   Booked Will for DJ/Emcee for my wedding. He was awesome the entire way, from start to finish. Here are some deets:

  Met Will at bridal convention in LA. His booth was hosting a ring toss game to get people discounts on packages. Super welcoming and friendly booth so I was interested right off the bat.
  
  Other DJ's I had inquired with were either too expensive or wasn't responsive. Will was super communicative through email.
  
  Met up in person with Will to talk about details. He had all his ducks in a row and we could tell he was experienced.
  
  Wedding Day:
  
  Showed up on time to set up. Looked sharp.
  
  Performance: Loved the confidence and experience I felt through his work. No awkwardness or anything for cause for concern. You can tell he's very good at what he does. In the end, was SUPER happy with Will and would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.
  
  Other pros: Super nice dude, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, good pricing.

  Absolutely the best!

  Will was DJ/emcee and Zoom host for our 2020 micro wedding. He invested so much of his own time to make our special day the best. He did a site survey to ensure data speed would support Zoom video. He arrived 2 hours early on day of to set up and do mic check and video test. And my Zoom guests absolutely loved him as their host. Two thumbs up for Will!

  Best Wedding DJ Ever!!

  My wedding guests still can't stop talking about our fabulous DJ! Not only is he an AMAZING DJ, but his entertaining skills are top notch.
  
  I hired DJ Will Gill for my May 2020 wedding. As my first vendor choice, I was immediately impressed by his professionalism. I wanted a DJ who was an actual DJ, not DJing as a part time new hobby, and one who was also an entertainer, that's exactly what I found!! Very reasonable prices. He provided my husband and I with a great spreadsheet to use when coming up with our wedding music. When our wedding was postponed due to covid-19, he graciously moved to our new date. Later, our wedding venue burned down and we had to change venues, again he seamlessly transitioned to the new venue. During our prep zoom meeting, he was able to get both my Husband and I excited again about our wedding. The day of the wedding he was dressed professionally. (I've been to far too many weddings where the DJ is not dressed appropriately.) Throughout the wedding, guests continued to comment about the great music and his entertaining skills. He truly got the crowd hyped during our reception, from the wedding party entrances, the shoe game, toasts, and dancing. I'm so grateful to Will for everything he did to make our wedding magical. I 100% recommend DJ Will Gill! (Pictures to follow!!). Do yourself a favor, hire Will Gill, you won't regret it.

  DJ Will Gill is Great!

  We were super happy with DJ Will Gill as our emcee and DJ. He did an awesome job from the time we booked him all the way up through the night of our event. He was very organized and kept us on track each step of the way. His packages are totally customizable, so budgeting was a breeze! He was able to keep in contact with both my wife-to-be and I, while also secretly communicating with me to arrange for some special surprise songs for my wife. He was able to keep everything on the down-low and it was a great surprise when it happened on our big day! He was totally able to read the room’s energy level and kept the party going at just the right level the whole night. Would totally recommend him again for any wedding/party/event. Thanks Will!!

  I met Will at a bridal show in Los Angeles and we immediately loved his energy and personality! My fiancé and I lived in Sacramento and we were getting married in DTLA. Will was so wonderful and accommodating and chatted with us via FaceTime because of the distance. We immediately knew we wanted to hire him and he would be perfect for our wedding. He had such an easy spreadsheet to help us organizing the music and timeline of our night. He was great at suggesting songs when we needed it and we felt we could trust him to pick songs he thought would flow well with the wedding.
  A few months before the wedding our original wedding venue shut down unexpectedly. Will went above and beyond and offered to help us find a new venue.   The best dj there ever was!

  Will is by far is the most fun, professional, amazing, DJ there ever was...and did I say fun?? He had my 85 year old grandmother on the dance floor. He's very easy to work with and super accommodating. People kept telling me that it was the best wedding they'd ever gone to, and I would honestly reply "That's because of my DJ". Thank you Will!!

  We love DJ Will!

  DG Will Gill! My gosh, we loved this man, and so did our wedding guests!
  
  We got married on 8/10/19, and DJ Gill was one of our best decisions! In every way, he was a true professional... from meeting with us, to getting to know the music we like, and learning our crowd- it was super easy to trust him from the start!
  
  On the wedding day, he ran all our jams from the ceremony to reception. He also took the lead with coordinating directly with our other vendors so we could enjoy our day/night as a couple! One thing we love about Will is that he is really personable over the mic in helping run the night! And that dance floor- oooooh boy! We gave some input to songs, but Will is amazing with feeling your crowd and making song picks to keep the party going... I think we almost put a hole through our venue floor that night- LOL! :)
  
  I swear SO many of our guests said, "great wedding, but AWESOME DJ!" DJ Will, a million stars! Thank you for being part of our special day!!

  Fantastic energy!

  DJ Will was fantastic! He kept my guests dancing all night long. He was incredibly reliable and professional. We wanted to make sure that our guests had a great time and wanted to stay, Will delivered on that! I would highly recommend to any couple that wants a true dance party for their wedding.

  Amazing DJ, kept the party going!!

  DJ Will Gill was the MC for our wedding and he was simply incredible. Music was very important to us, so having a DJ who was technically good at mixing was a requirement. In this regard, DJ Will Gill did not disappoint. DJ Will Gill chose an excellent choice of songs, read the crowd appropriately and kept the energy high. Also, DJ Will Gill kept his presence low key, focusing on the music which is exactly what he wanted. As a professional entertainer, he is definitely able to provide you with what you want out of an MC. If I could give 6 stars I would!!!!! Last but not least -- he is sooooo incredibly nice and easy to get along with!

  Turnt the f* up all night!

  We absolutely LOVED Will!! From the beginning, he totally understood what we wanted, what our different musical tastes were and how to bring them together, was super flexible and down with requests, but also gave suggestions and clearly knows what he's doing because everyone danced the ENTIRE night. I'm talking -
  turnt the f* up the entire evening - ok? He read the vibe of the guests and attuned the music so it wasn't just one thing all night, and special shoutout to him taking my Colombian grandmother's request haha! Such a fun and awesome experience with a guy who knows his shit and is down to make your wedding POPPIN' and memorable!

  We absolutely LOVED Will!!   Upbeat, flexible, and easy to work with!

  Danced all night.

  DJ Will was amazing! We are so glad we chose him for our special day. Will really knows music. He knew exactly what our guests would want and kept the dance floor going the whole night. My dance floor was never empty and people couldn't stop dancing. He brought energy to the night that our guests loved! We’ve had many family members ask for his contact info so they may use him in the future. We loved Will entertainment and would recommend him to anyone. If you really want a fun night, he’s the way to go!

  Fun and witty DJ

  We’re so thrilled with our experience with WGE. Will was quick to respond, professional, and the music selection was AMAZING. Our guests loved it. No one wanted to leave the party! The best part for me was how attentive he was. During our raffle, he listened to the speeches and came in at the end with relevant music that made the whole experience more fun. Would definitely recommend WGE to anyone planning a party!

  Best time ever

  Best time of my life! Will Gill was beyond an excellent DJ & emcee. He helped me and my (now) husband walk through our expectations of our wedding and helped us think through every detail. He also looked over the order of events and gave some really valuable feedback - it flowed so well. Everyone loved him. Thank you for being the best part of our wedding. We will remember that night forever!

  Trustworthy and fun

  WGE worked with my husband and I to create a seamless flow from the walk down the aisle tol the end of the night. They worked with us to understand our unique vision for our day and put it all together beautifully. Never once did we have to worry about our reception, we knew they had everything taken care of and there was a clear understanding of what we wanted. Long after we continued to get compliments on how wonderful the music was and how much fun it was at our reception and wedding. We truly enjoyed working with WGEDJs and highly recommend them to anyone for any occasion.

  Will was a great DJ! He played at my husband’s 30th birthday and we loved it! He was a very personable DJ and attended to our needs. He played the music we wanted and was quite professional.

  Our party was a hit.

  We hired WGE for our wedding on 8/24 and it was an unforgettable experience!! Will was very professional, on time, and full of energy. It just made our whole reception a blast!!!! The shoe game was a true hit and Will played the perfect songs at the right times so the dance floor was never empty. We’ve had so many comments from guests that it was the best wedding they’ve been to and we know its because of Will’s ability to read the crowd. We absolutely recommend him to anyone!

  Spectacular DJ

  Will did a terrific job as the emcee and DJ for our wedding! He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! He did a phenomenal job sticking to the music we requested and provided and he kept people entertained and read the crowd perfectly! He was very accommodating to schedule changes the night of and made us feel so happy to have booked him at the bridal show! Thank you again for all you did for us. You helped make our wedding spectacular!
