The absolute best!!

My wife and I could not imagine a better DJ & MC! Everything during the wedding day went perfectly according to plan. The best part was hands down the dance party though - he played all of our requested songs and transitioned them perfectly!! He kept everyone dancing and singing the entire reception. 10/10 recommend!!

The party never stopped, even in the rain

DJ Rockhand provided excellent service at our wedding. From our ceremony music, to reception music, to the incredible emcee, everything was impeccable. The software system used to create our playlists was top notch and so easy and fun to use. It ended up raining on and off throughout our outdoor reception but the party never stopped thanks to Luis' ability to read the crowd, knowing exactly what to play to keep everyone dancing in the rain. We highly recommend!

Knows how to keep everyone on the dancefloor ALL NIGHT!

Thank you Luis for making our wedding the party of the year!! I had friends Shazamming the songs you played all night! There wasn’t a time that the dancefloor was empty and for that I appreciate you !! Absolutely loved how organized you are with the app had us use that broke down everything for the day! Loved all the special features we did (custom gobos, cold sparks, & the most amazing MC)! We had such a great time and my feet were killing me the next day from all the dancing!

DJ Rockhand is the best

DJ Rockhand made all our dancing dreams come true! He and Keyla were super responsive leading up to the wedding and made us feel like we were in good hands the whole way through. My husband and I did not leave the dance floor the entire time. Our guests thought he was one of the best they’d ever seen! He really took what we liked in terms of music and made It reality - felt like a club towards the end of the night which is exactly what we wanted! Pick DJ Rockhand! You won’t regret it! He’s the best!

Best DJ everrrrr!!!

DJ Rockhand was our dj for our reception at Courtyard Marriot Isle Verde Beach. The professionalism from the company High Setup was on point!! I was working with Kelyla, who I dealt with regarding any questions I had about the contract for the setup and music. She was amazing and also sent me pictures so I had a visual of what the setup would look like. DJ Rockhand was absolutely amazing!!! When I tell you from the time the reception started to the time it was over, he had everyone on the dancefloor. The music choices just flowed together so well. All my guests kept asking who is the DJ and how did you find him? LOL I had also read reviews and they were all good and his specialty is Hip Hop. And again he did not disappoint! The company sends you an app so you could add the timeline of how the night will be done and the choice of music you would like. I thought that was awesome! To be honest, my husband and I didn't have a timeline, we just sent a list of artists we liked and the type of music asked DJ Rockhand to do his thang. When I say we danced alllll night non stop because each song he played was such a smooth rotation of songs!! The uplights they bring to set up the room and the LED lights for the dance floor gave the reception such a vibe!! The DJ booth had a LCD screen on it. I sent pictures and the company made a slideshow. The slide show happened to be of our wedding day. High Setup put it togehter so beautiful it was like reliving our wedding. Also with DJ Rockhand, you are able to download an app and make requests for songs, just easy! Or ask him to play whatever song you want. Our reception night was so much fun and I really give much credit to DJ Rockhand for doing an amazing job! We are already planning our 5 year anniversary and yes, we want DJ Rockhand again! Please if you need a DJ please get with DJ Rockhand, the care and time and input he puts in to make your night wonderful is just a blessing! When I say music is his art, you could never go wrong with choosing him as your dj!!!

HighSetup and DJRockhand were AMAZING! It was such a pleasure to work with them and we had them for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our wedding planner (Karisha Marie Events) recommended them to us and I am so glad that she did! My husband and I went back and forth on whether to have a band or a DJ and ultimately decided on a DJ for a few reasons. One being that my husband in from Puerto Rico and I am from New York, so the wedding was a mix of cultures with both local guests and guest traveling from all over. Therefore, we wanted to have a mix of both Spanish and English songs and a variety of music styles. The music component of the wedding was very important to us because we love to dance and wanted the party to be a blast! It was thanks to DJRockhand!! He did such an amazing job blending the styles of music and the dance floor was full the entire night. There was no tacky DJ lighting or lingo and his setup is sleek and clean. The guests were raving about the DJ to us the next day. Some even told us that they previous thought weddings were only fun with bands and DJRockhand converted them! We also want to thank Sol for setting everything up with us and helping us submit all the song requests. She was very responsive and helpful. We HIGHLY recommend HighsetUp and DJRockhand!!

The best!!!!

DJ rock hand was the best!! We all had such an amazing time. He really kept us dancing all night! I used the Vibo app to add my song requests —it worked perfectly! DJ rock hand and Zoraida are great, very responsive and professional. I highly recommend them. You won’t regret it.

DJ Rockhand and Keyla did a phenomenal job MCing and DJing our wedding. My husband and I could not have been happier! They provided an atmosphere our guests absolutely loved! Their professionalism and experience were evident throughout. He’s a well-known DJ, but made us feel like we were a priority. For that, we are extremely thankful!! Zoraida answered all of our communications right away and remembered details we provided. DJ Rockhand listened to our requests and put together an amazing playlist. He cared about the subtle details and showed that he wanted to make our experience unique and matching to our songs/music-styles. Our family and friends are still saying he was best wedding DJ they had ever experienced. We cannot write it enough, but thank you DJ Rockhand for helping to make our wedding day so amazing!

DJ Rockhand came recommended to us by our planner Maria Lugo. I did not meet our DJ and his MC until the day of the wedding but I was in contact with Keyla and she was very helpful and quick when responding to emails. We gave a list of songs that we wanted to hear played during the reception and I was skeptical at first that the DJ would get around to playing all those choices but he actually did and we enjoyed every single song! The music played during the cocktail hour and dinner was perfect. We were able to hear music playing but also keep our conversations going without having to shout as we’ve had to at other weddings. We had planned to skip the formal speeches but as we all know nothing goes according to plan. We had two impromptu speeches, which the DJ & MC included seamlessly and no one noticed that they were not “planned”. I can’t thank DJ Rockhand and staff enough for making our wedding fun and keeping the energy up right until the last song! Thank you again!

So, I admit that I'm a slacker because my wedding was just over 6 years ago (10/20/11) and I'm reviewing this DJ now. With that being said, every time our friends get together for an event, the wedding STILL comes up as one of the best nights we've ever had. That's how much fun we had, and I can absolutely give major credit to DJ Rockhand and his beautiful assistant (and the open bar hahaha). They played all the music we requested, ignored drunken guests requesting the same song multiple times (ahem MIL ahem lol), and had EVERYONE dancing. Our friends loved it. We even had some friends say AT THEIR OWN WEDDING, that it wasn't as great as their wedding, but still fun lol. Seriously, props to DJ Rockhand and his assistant. Great customer service and satisfaction and great professionalism!!! If there's ever another event we plan to have in PR, we'll absolutely use them again! Worth every penny! Thank you so much DJ Rockhand and assistant (sorry I can't remember names from so far back 0:) )!!

We have no complaints about our DJ's. They played everything perfectly, The up lighting helped tremendously since our reception was help outdoors and it was pretty dark. At most our guest had a great time and they were super sweet.

We had a great experience with DJRockhand/High Setup. Communication was very prompt and clear. The booking process was easy, the setup was just right, and everything was super punctual. They provided amplification for our ceremony, uplighting for the reception room, and a DJ for the reception. The DJ was just what we wanted. He played music we requested, and filled in other music with just the right mood. We were on our feet dancing the entire night-and we only had 30 people! Every single person danced. It was the best night ever. The DJ was super friendly and very accommodating. The uplighting was beautiful (I really, really recommend it), and the sound system for the ceremony was really great (and cordless!!!).

DJ Rockhand came highly recommended to us by our wedding planner after plans to fly our DJ in from NYC did not work out. My now husband was extremely worried about using a DJ who was not familiar with African world music. We were reassured that DJ Ricky and could handle our groups vast music choices. We sent a long list with numerous changes up to the days before the wedding and our requests were always acknowledged acknowledged and accepted. We had a great crew for our wedding that kept the music spinning until the very last minute. We danced until our feet hurt. I loved the energy that DJ Rockhand brought to our wedding. The DJ Rockhand team was simply amazing! We thought we would use our sound system and use spotify for our reception but soon realized we were in way above our heads. We contacted DJ Rockhand 5 days before our wedding and their responsiveness and willingness to help and serve was above and beyond. They sent me a quote the same day and all of the information needed. As soon as I submitted my payment, I received another email requesting information regarding our music choices, etc. Everytime I called, there was a friendly voice on the other side ready to assist me with my last minute questions and requests. They were even able to accomodate me incorporating a song to be sang in the middle of our ceremony with the task of them getting the exact soundtrack I was able to rehearse to. They never hesitated. At the reception, the two gentlemen that came were extremely professional, on time and well dressed. I would recommend DJ Rockhand to anyone for any event.

The team of DJ Rockhand was very professional, responsible, flexible and friendly. Beside the music for our reception, I also booked lights for the venue and a projector with screen for our photo-love-story during the reception. The planning part was very straightforward and I knew exactly the things I had to provide DJ Rockhand (songs, music-styles, photos).
The atmosphere at the reception was amazing! I couldn't believe how perfect every song during the dinner and party matched our music taste. The music for the protocol was exactly as expected. The lighting gave the right finishing to our decoration. I will definitely recommend DJ Rockhand to everyone for all their services!!!

Luis and Keyla are an amazing team to work with! We're still planning our wedding in Puerto Rico but the process has been so difficult because some vendors don't answer to e-mails/phone calls/etc. However, Luis and Keyla responded the moment I called and prepared and sent quote the same day. Every other vendor that asked me who the DJ was going to be and I said "DJ Rockhand" their response was always "ah, he's the best, great choice"! Which put a smile in my face every time! We opted for having a live band because it's what we wanted from the beginning but if I could afford both I would certainly have DJ Rockhand. Thank you guys for your responsiveness and willingness to work with us!

DJ Rockhand and his team were terrific! I got married at Hotel El Convento in Salon Campeche and DJ Rockhand provided music for my ceremony at La Rogativa and for the duration of the reception. The sound system was great, Keyla was very responsive, and they obtained all the songs that I requested. They fully understood the theme we were going for, both for the dinner and for the dance party after the dinner, and provided very fitting music in addition to what we requested. Our guests had such a wonderful time and we danced the night away. What a party! We will cherish our memories forever. Thank you!

DJ Rockhand is the best hands down! He dj'd for my wedding at the Marriott Courtyard 2/16/16 at the Marriott Courtyard in Isla Verde. I had 50 family members from California. I just had my wedding at the Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde this past Saturday January 9 and DJ Rockhand provided the DJ services for my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They also provided the elegant master of ceremonies. The service from DJ Rockhand was amazing. I provided a detailed playlist for all parts of the wedding and they played everything we had requested plus some great additions. All of my guests commented on how great the DJ and the playlist was. DJ Rockhand kept the party going all night long. The master of ceremonies also did an excellent job at keeping things moving. Prior to the wedding, Keyla was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful as I planned my wedding from Boston. I highly recommend hiring DJ Rockhand for your wedding in San Juan. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my wedding a night we will never forget!

The music for our wedding was on fire!!!!!! DJ Rockhand kept our guests on the dance floor the whole time with such a great mix of music that really played to the crowd. He sent us a form to fill out with specific requests and preferences and even took our guest requests during the reception. I don't think I've ever danced so much in my life or seen my family dance so much either.
If you want to guarantee a great party hire him and his team!

DJ Rockhand was the DJ company hired for my daughter's wedding. They were set up on time and they were very professional. The have a great variety of music and are very accommodating to music requests. I would recommend them to anyone and hire them for any future events.

We absolutely loved our DJ and so did our guests! DJ Rockhand and the crew arrived early to our wedding to set up and test sound and everything was in place and ready to go for our wedding to start on time. We coordinated with Keyla leading up to the wedding to provide a list of about 140 of our favorite songs beginning with the processional all the way to the last song! The music ranged from Disney sound tracks to Salsa to Hip Hop & R&B, and Ed Sheeran :-)! DJ Rockhand had everything we wanted and used his musical expertise to transition between songs. Everything was on point and we danced throughout the night.

PLUS: The DJ even mixed our 2 first dance songs prior to the wedding to give us a feel for the flow of the song. Awesome!

DJ Rockhand was phenomenal--from cocktails to dinner to dancing--he set the tone perfectly. The lighting they provided made the room come together in a way I could've never imagined. And the music? So many people came up to us during the reception and told us, "We love your playlist! These songs are awesome!" and we could not take any credit. We barely gave them any direction to the kind of music we wanted, and he still managed to play all our favorite songs during dinner and kept the whole party dancing all night! He has a tremendous gift to read the room and change the music style to keep everyone happy. It was such an amazing mix of songs too--from Top 40 hits to merengue to 90s hip hop--every single song was exactly what we wanted to hear next. DJ Rockhand, you are truly a mind reader!

Can't say enough wonderful things about this team. From the initial meeting, to emailing, to that night dealing with my friend as the Master of Ceremony--they were so professional and friendly from beginning to end. My husband and I are trying to figure out when we'll have another big party to work with them again.

My husband and I knew we wanted our destination wedding to be a huge party. After reading all of the amazing reviews here about DJ Rockhand, we had pretty high expectations for our reception music and he completely blew us away! We had the best time dancing and the dance floor was always packed. I had a second outfit to change into during the reception and each time I decided it was time to change, another awesome song would come and I didn't want to miss it! Once I finally did change, I was so jealous I missed a few great songs.
Leading up to the wedding, we were in contact via email a few times, sending a list of songs we wanted and a do not play. We met with Keyla at our hotel a few days before the wedding to go over a few final details and let them know the overall feel we were going for.
Book DJ Rockhand! You will love him!

No matter how much time you spend planning your wedding, I think the reception is really determined by the DJ. We knew from the beginning that we wanted our reception to be a giant party and that a DJ was the way to go. Both my husband and I are very picky about music, and it was probably the thing we both wanted the most control over. When we booked our reception at the San Juan Marriott, the DJ was actually included as a perk. Truthfully, this probably lowered our expectations a bit, but we could not have been more wrong. DJ Rockhands is easily the best DJ I've ever experienced! We sent him a pretty specific list, and he took the time to incorporate a ton of our requests along with his own amazing mixes. I didn't expect the mixes at all! They were incredibly well done and the next song would be "teased" during the current song which our guests loved! People kept coming up to us on the dance floor saying "I'm tired and want to sit down but can't because each song is better than the next!" All of our guests were from the Midwest and East Coast, and yet they still picked the dance floor over the ocean front terrace! I can honestly say that DJ Rockhands truly made our reception the party we wanted. We cannot thank him enough for a BEYOND amazing job. I wish we lived in PR so we could use him for other events!

DJ Rockhand DJ'd our wedding and was awesome!!! My wedding planner (Milly Centeno) recommended him as the best DJ on the island. The communication with them leading up to the wedding was amazing. Keyla helped coordinate everything and she was awesome. She responded quickly and answered all of my questions. When choosing which DJ to go with we wanted someone that would keep the party going. Our friends and families are partiers and love to dance. DJ Rockhand kept the party going all night long and hyped up the crowed throughout the night. We were so pleased with how the reception went and highly recommend!

We used DJ Rockhand for music and lighting during our wedding reception and he was AMAZING! We had a belly dance performance show during our dinner and he did an awesome light show to go along with it. During his DJ sets, people literally went wild and the dance floor was packed! It was the highlight of the night! He is great at feeling out the crowd and playing music that is right for the moment. The interactive elegant MC was both professional and playful with the crowd. Our guests loved it! My fiancé is a music fanatic and gave DJ Rockhand a list of songs that he wanted him to play which was very precise and detailed. He pulled it off without a hitch! DJ Rockhand and his team were GREAT! They set the tone for the for everything perfectly. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing, they understood exactly what we were looking for and delivered on it. The lighting they brought added so much to the decor (if you are debating whether to have them do lighting for you, stop the debate and just do it, you won't regret it). From the moment the dance floor opened (and even before haha) our guests were on their feet dancing the night away and having an amazing time.

DJ Rockhand, and our DJ/MC, Ricky, were phenomenal! Aside from food and drinks, music was our #1 priority for our wedding reception in San Juan, PR. My wife and I were looking for that kind of party where it hits the late hours and you don't want the night to end. Well, DJs Rockhand and Ricky absolutely made this happen for us!! We sent DJ Rockhand / Ricky a playlist with 6 hours worth of music, including some custom requests for the entrance song and they were able to make it all flow perfectly. For instance, my mom and I were really struggling to choose the perfect song for our mother/son dance. She picked a really sentimental song for the mother/son dance but was concerned it was too long and slow. There was also a second, more upbeat cumbia song we wanted dance to. With only a couple of days of advance notice, they were able to make a custom mix in which we surprised our guests with a fun sentimental/fun mix; it was perfect. Also, mixing our proposed playlist was no simple task. We had music ranging from Marc Anthony to Milky Chance to Beyonce to David Guetta to Van Halen -- all mixed perfectly. They were able to accommodate a same-day one hour extension as well! A+++ Couldn't be happier with DJ Rockhand / Ricky, Kayla, and the rest of the team! Thanks guys!

DJ Rockhand was absolutely amazing!!!!!!

Keyla was very prompt in getting back to us with information and met with us on our visit to PR before the wedding to get details. We decided to get the MC and lights as well.

The MC was the best decision we made! I did not have a wedding planner for my wedding, so the MC was perfect. We gave him the itinerary and he was very efficient in executing everything we wanted. We purchased foam light sticks for our entrance, and he made sure that they were handed out to all guests, he turned of lights and got everyone up out of there seats as we were announced. Guests raved that it was the best entrance ever!!! He gave me a heads up for every event and really kept the flow of the wedding in order. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The reception would not have been the same without him.

The DJ was excellent as well!!! My husband is into all types of music so we provided a very extensive playlist. The DJ played all of the songs we wanted to hear and really knew how to keep the party going for our guests. The light up DJ booth was also very cool.

Planning a wedding for the states isn't easy, and music is such a critical part of the wedding experience. I hands down would recommend DJ Rockhand to anyone getting married in Puerto Rico!!! They are phenomenal!

I am so thrilled we selected DJ Rockhand for our wedding at El Convento. We met with Kayla about a year before our wedding and she had lots of options to customize a package to fit our needs. One thing that was important to us was having a wireless microphone and music capabilities outside for our ceremony at La Rogativa, which has no electricity sources. They were more than capable of providing top of the line equipment for each aspect of our wedding. Another wonderful thing about using DJ Rockhand, is that they can provide the uplighting for the room. As one of the top vendors in their category, Kayla knew each location well and provided feedback and options for what each space needed.

About a month before the wedding my husband and I decided to add on a projector & screen to have a slideshow. The email response time was excellen, multiple options and prices were provided for us to select from, and our contract was updated and emailed back. I love that! Communication and follow up is so important, especially when planning a destination wedding, and DJ Rockhand was excellent about it.

Last but not least, I have to complement them on their work at sourcing all the songs that we provided as options for each part of the wedding. Our selections were not normal wedding songs. From an Irish dance song for the ceremony to lil Wayne back to back with imagine dragons during dinner or the tropical house DJ I love that isn't on iTunes, they Nailed it! We had an extremely eclectic playlist and it made us and our guests so happy to have unexpected songs from every category. Also, I mentioned we weren't looking to have a huge dance party and.... Which ended up happening anyway haha.....but the MC never made announcements to drag people on the dancfloor, which can get awkward and is annoying. Love these guys, they really killed it and I highly suggest using them!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Djrockhand and his team were the DJ for our Welcome dinner on the beach and our reception inside the hotel ballroom.

Djrockhand is an amazing DJ. We hired him for our ceremony, cocktail hour and our reception. Our wedding was two weeks ago and our guests are still raving about how great the music was. DJrockhand kept our guests dancing and entertained from beginning to end. The MC was welcoming and made sure everything flowed in perfect ordered. DJ Rockhand and company are rockstars. I received this company's information from the vendor list provided by Hotel El Covento, where our wedding was held.
I originally had another DJ booked for the day of the event, however early in the process there was complications on price, responsiveness and other hiccups.
I emailed DJ Rockhand and to my luck, they were available. They responded very quickly to all my emails and questions. The price was very fair and well worth the cost for their professionalism and quality of service. They provided music for my ceremony, which was off site, my cocktail hour, which was in a courtyard at the hotel as well as in the reception room.
I provided a very detailed list of music for our wedding day, but he was very open and played other of my guest requests for the reception.
everybody had a great time during our reception and DJ Rockhand was a huge part of this success.

One of the most important things on anyone couple wedding day is the music. DJ Rockhand went above and beyond to make sure that they delivered. We had approximately thirty guests at our wedding, but with DJ Rockhand, the dance floor was packed! The DJ Rockhand team knew how to read the crowd and kicked the music up a notch right when everyone wanted to hear something different.

I also really appreciated the time they spent to ensure that our special requests were met: The DJ Rockhand team was able to find a hard-to-find digital recording of a song that my husband wanted to use for the mother-and-son dance. They also made sure to include a special song for my grandmother that I requested.

I will say that the Master of Ceremonies asked our guests to applaud after every toast or major wedding event, which was equally odd and hilarious. I thought that it simply showed how attentive they were to making sure that we (the bride and groom) were enjoying ourselves.

Overall, a fantastic experience with DJ Rockhand! I would definitely use them again or refer a friend!

Music has always been a huge part of my life and I wanted to bring that to my wedding. DJ Rockhand did just that. Him and his team were beyond awesome to work with from beginning to end. Their professionalism, attention to detail and design were beyond my expectations. We met with several DJs prior to meeting with DJ Rockhand and his presentation blew everyone out of the water. I don't have one bad thing to say about this company. They were amazing from start to finish. We visited from NYC this summer and met with Keyla who was the sweetest and most amazing person to work with. She made me feel at ease with my decision and was there every step of the way. We were lucky enough to have DJ Rockhand himself, Luis and he was spectacular. The Thursday that we arrived for our wedding weekend Luis and Keyla came to the hotel to meet with us to review some last minute music choices. Keyla was so sweet that she even came to the wedding for the majority of it even though she wasn't MCing. All of my NYC friends asked if we flew the DJ down from NYC. He was amazing and the party didn't stop dancing for a second. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ in San Juan.

Our wedding was SO MUCH FUN! Thank you all for providing the music to make it so! Everyone was dancing - the whole time! My maid of honor even told me that after our send-off the party was still going on without us and the dance floor was packed. She danced so much that she ended up with 10 blisters on her feet... AMAZING!!! This company blew my mind. I gave DJ Pedro a list of songs but told them not to limit himself to them. If he had better songs to put then to go for it and boy did he. Not one guest sat in the 3 hours of dancing that we had. Every song was hyped and the next song was even better then the last. At midnight no one wanted to leave and so they played a couple extras. Pedro really knew how to please the crowd and knew his audience by the music he was selecting. To my husband and I, music is very important since we love to party and dance, therefore picking a vendor at first was no easy task. Let's just say we will hire DJ Rockhand for all of our future events that we host in Puerto Rico.

After my venue and planner, DJ Rockhand was the first vendor I booked. With all of their positive reviews, I knew I needed to book early to secure the date. I made a great choice. Their team was so easy to work with. I used the DJ Service and Lighting. I worked with Keyla to pick out a gobo that resembled trees and we also had amber uplighting. The end result was that my venue looked like a plaza at sunset - exactly what I was looking for. It was magical. As for the DJ himself - he was amazing. I had an intimate wedding and was worried that no one would dance, but I was wrong - he had my guests up and dancing for hours. Out of all of the weddings I've ever been to over the years, he was by far the best DJ - I'm so lucky he was at my wedding :).

DJ Rockhand was really amazing! He had everyone on the dance floor the whole night. We planned our destination wedding to San Juan, PR without a clue as to how we would find a DJ. We found DJ Rockhand on weddingwire.com and we were not disappointed. We were able to view Youtube videos of his work and also he came highly recommended from the place where we held our ceremony. We hired DJ Rockhand for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and all the music was exactly what we wanted. We were able to pick up to 60 songs (not including protocol songs) and he did an awesome job. All out of guests were up and dancing the whole time and we partied all night.

My husband told me he only cared about two things concerning our wedding - that was the food and the DJ. We love music and understood early on that an awesome wedding reception ONLY occurs because you have an awesome DJ. The hotel where we had our destination wedding gave me a list of vendors and I took the time to research each one. When I got to DJ Rockhand's website, I was bombarded with great and useful information. I was able to see a video of him mixing live, i was able to see photos of his other weddings and when I sent an inquiry, his partner Keyla, emailed me back right away (Hi Keyla!!). I instantly had a quote, was able to talk through my options and had my DJ.

Out of all the DJ's i emailed, DJ Rockhand was the only one that allowed us to give a song list of 60 songs. I'm pretty sure he played more than half. He was literally on point with everything, from the ceremony music and timing, to the cuttings of the entrances of the bridal parties, to the intermingling of old skool hip hop, mainstream music and spanish for the reception. He literally kept us dancing all night and it was the best wedding I had ever been to. What I particularly loved about him was that he was a live mixing DJ. He didn't do any of that stopping crap when the song is over and then playing a new one. The music flowed as the night did. He watched the crowd, saw what everyone was feeling and went with it.

I would recommend him to anyone, anywhere. Thank you for making our wedding a night to be remembered for always.

DJ Rockhand kept everyone on their feet! He played every type of music I wanted! We had a mixed group and although we were getting married in PR, I wanted to play different types of music (funk, hip-hop, salsa, reggae etc.) DJ Rockhand nailed it! To the point that security was shutting us down and we wanted to keep dancing.

His wife Keyla was also an amazing MC! Thank you for an unforgettable night! My guest are still talking about it!

We were married at the Gran Melia in Rio Grande on April 4, 2014. I was nervous about the music as it was important for my reception to be a party. We were not disappointed at all! DJRockhand did an amazing job.
They were very flexible --even taking request towards the end of the night.
If you are getting married in the Puerto Rio area book this vendor. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I live in Michigan and were married at the El San Juan Resort and Casino. While we were down there touring the different resorts the year prior to our wedding, DJ Rockhand was on every vendor's list that we received from all the places we toured. I now know why...... They were absolutely amazing! Very professional, quick to respond to any of our emails of questions or concerns, and helped us out with the cost of the services to stay on budget. We filled out their survey for our musical tastes prior to the wedding, and they absolutely nailed the music for the reception. They also provided their service for the ceremony and did an amazing job with that as well. Every detail that we requested was provided. All of our guests were on their feet dancing and having a great time all night. There is nothing that I would change about the services that they provided.

We got married at La Concha Resort in San Juan, PR. Upon doing research on vendors, we came across DJ Rockhand, we loved the website and the reviews were beyond exceptional! We really wanted a DJ that was going to keep our guests excited and dancing the entire reception and we definitely got that with DJ Rockhand. I can't recall a moment of the night when the dance floor was empty, Luis really kept the crowd going! We met with Keyla a few months prior to our wedding and she was so great to work with as well and made planning a destination wedding very seamless. They were very organized, responsive and professional throughout the planning of the wedding and the day of the event. DJ Rockhand did our ceremony, cocktail hour music, reception AND our decorative up lighting and dance floor lights, which all looked amazing! We loved our experience with DJ Rockhand and would highly recommend him!

We used DJ Rockhand for our destination wedding ceremony on the Isla Verde beach, as well as for our cocktail hour and reception at the San Juan Water Beach Club Hotel and were thrilled! The requested music for the processional into the ceremony, as well as after the ceremony were played with perfect timing. The songlist we provided just a few short days in advance was played thoroughly, as well as other additions that were a perfect fit for our guests. The service was flawless, and greatly appreciated!

I hired DJ Rockhand´s services to take care of the lighting to add more ambience to the decoration in my event. Their service from day one was prompt and professional. The day of the event, they were on time and took care of the lighting through out the entire venue and made it look even more special. They have high quality items which is an A+ at any event. I can´t thank them enough for what they did to make my event look more special than it was. Thank YOU so much!!! :)

DJROCKHAND was terrific! We used their services for our cocktail hour and for our wedding reception. They were awesome in their song selections (a couple we requested but most they chose or our friends requested and they played) and keeping the appropriate mood for each part of the night. They really came to the rescue too because we were supposed to also have an 80's Band also that night - and due to a major mess-up on the part of the band manager - ended up not being able to play. It was just one of many issues we had during our wedding. All and all it turned out great - and thanks to DJROCKHAND, we were able to dance and really enjoy our wedding (and forget about all the problems that had occured with others). They played lots of 80's music too (seeing that was something we liked) and lots of Puerto Rican songs (my husband is Puerto Rican). Loved them!

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing the DJ and congo player was for our wedding. As a wedding planner, I had VERY high expectations and they not only met them but far exceeded them. They were extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. I cannot thank them enough! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ, congo player, lighting and sound!!!

Choosing our DJ was easy for us, we knew ALWAYS that DJ Rockhand team would be our music provider, there was no doubt. To us they are the best at what they do and all the events I have ever gone to that they have Dj'd had always been great. But our wedding renewal, that was AMAZING! Pedro was our DJ and he was THE BEST, he rocked the party all night, six straight hours of dancing, jumping, singing, it was a blast. Everyone kept saying how Epic our wedding was and for the most part it was because we had great entertainment. Luis set up a beautiful uplighting for the room and it just made the decor come even more alive with the amber and pink lights, he set up pin lighting for our cake and it was perfect, i kept looking at it because it popped in the room. Also for the ceremony I had asked Luis if I could possibly have a white microphone, well he not only brought me a white microphone he beddazled it!! I mean seriously, it was the bomb, it had diamonds on it...I mean what girl wouldn't want that, and a little birdy told me he hand glued them all :) Honestly Luis and his team where incredible, just perfect.

AWESOME DJ! I saw people dance at my wedding that NEVER dance. So much fun! Easy to work with, and perfect assortment of music. I recommend to everyone. Music is a very important part of the party and he definitely gets it right.

What can I say about DJ Rockhand, other than that IT WAS TRULY AMAZING!!!!! Before the wedding he requested that we would send him a list of songs that we would want played on the reception. He took our requests and made a complete playlist using as a reference our preferences. Boy, the music rocked. Our guests danced all night, everyone, had so much fun. It was above and beyond of what I could have expected. They were very accesible and nice to us and our guests, and were always trying to please us. To this day, we still receive positive feedbacks of the wedding and the music. We are truly grateful... DJ Rockhand is the way to go!!!!!!!!!!

DJRockhand was awesome! We had a small destination wedding, so we didn't need a full range of services, but they were able to cater to our needs and budget perfectly. Keyla was a pleasure to work with to set up everything, and our MC Talia (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was fantastic! Even with the freak rainstorm that happened during our cocktail/reception, she helped us out so much! Everyone had such a great time and the music was perfect! I highly recommend DJRockhand!

DJ Rockhand made my wedding an absolute success. We had a small wedding ceromony in Puerto Rico and did not need a full package that was advertised on their site. They were able to give me a custom package that worked for my event and my budget. The DJ was on time and ready to play at the agreed upon time. The music was exactly what we selected and played in a manner where everyone had a great time. I would definately recommend DJ Rockhand to anyone who needed a top notch DJ for their wedding.

Cannot say ENOUGH about this DJ!!! They were AWESOME! We did a destination wedding in Puerto Rico, we were referred to DJ Rockhand by our wedding coordinator (Milly Centeno). I can now appreciate why and am so thankful we chose them!

DJ Rockhand and his awesome assistant were able to get all of the music we needed for the wedding the very last minute, due to the fact that we had some last minute changes. Not only did they get every song played, but also took some beautiful pictures for me so that I would have them on my phone, talk about exceeding expectations!

My guest were on the dance floor the WHOLE night, we were having so much fun we paid them to stay another 1 1/2 hours. They played the crowd, and they know what they're doing! Would highly recommend them 110%!!!

If you have a wedding in Puerto Rico and want your guest to have the best time, I strongly suggest you hire DJ ROCKHAND!!!!!!

DJ Rockhand was awesome! Planning a destination wedding has its challenges, but as a wedding planner, I could not have been happier. They were excellent at communication, very flexible and accommodating. There were a few details that were overlooked on our end, but DJ Rockhand had quick and helpful solutions for us.
Most importantly, they kept the bride, groom and guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG! They did a great job of reading the crowd and keeping the party going. The guests were dancing up to the last minute when our time at the venue was up.

I totally recommend this DJ to any brides looking to have an amazing party. We used our own emcee which worked fine, and just secured the DJ services. The set up looked nice and matched our wedding colors. The office person who replies to communication was the most responsive of all the vendors I worked with in Puerto Rico. We provided 50 songs in advance including our first dance, parents dance, etc. and they nailed all of it, reading the crowd really well to supplement the mix of the other music which was a good mix of hip hop, old school, popular, merengue/salsa etc. The price is very fair. Highly recommend.

I chose DJ Rockhand for both my reception music and the lighting for the reception area. The lighting was just right. They were able to get the look I envisioned without costing an arm and a leg. The music was just as expected: lively and non-stop. I don't think the dance floor was empty for the whole reception. Kayla and Luis are wonderful and they make a great team. They were flexible and responsive. The MC was good but not as lively as I have seen at other weddings. But it was not an issue at all. She was sweet and made sure all song requests were met.

If you are getting married in Puerto Rico hire this DJ! From the beginning of our communication they were quick to respond and were very professional! We had a destination wedding and we felt reassured that DJrockhand was highly recommended to us by our wedding planner. DJrockhand got all of our ceremony music RIGHT ON! Our ceremony was outside and even then, the sound was perfect. For our reception I don't think anyone sat down much because everyone was up and dancing and having a great time! We had a small wedding, but it was worth every penny to hire DJrockhand!

I love DJ Rockhand!!!
He made my reception the best reception ever!
I have never been to a wedding where people have danced from start to finish, but DJ Rockhand made that happen at our wedding.
Keyla was our contact person and she was super organized and responsive.
We also used him for lighting and it was perfect...it made such a huge difference and the room looked amazing!
One of our friends sang our first dance song and DJ Rockhand had no problem getting the instrumental version of the song for us. He played softer music during dinner, also all of which were perfect choices.
We told him we wanted a club vibe and gave him free reign to play what he thought would work for us and he nailed it. It seriously was a dance party all night.
Having a great DJ sets the mood and feel of your reception...DJ Rockhand made our wedding such a great experience and I don't think we could have booked a better person.

We used DJ ROCKHAND for our destination wedding reception. I love music, and wanted to have a great mix of music that both my husband and I loved, as well as what would keep the party going and keep everyone happy and dancing. DJ ROCKHAND did an amazing job!!! Many guests commented to us about how great they did. They gave us the perfect mix of music (some fun remixes, but not too much!) that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. I loved that they had a seamless transition from song to song, a little detail that makes a big difference. They had asked me beforehand how I'd like to deal with requests from our guests, and I had asked that they clear it with me first. They held up their end of the deal without making it awkward for me or my guests, and really catered to how the entire group was reacting to the music. I'd recommend them to anyone!

From beginning to end, DJ Rockhand did an amazing job with the music They were able to provide us with the music of our choice. We even recommended a certain version of a song founf on Youtube and they copied the song for us! Our guests danced the whole night away! Thank you so much for making our reception a fun evening.

The whole DJ Rockhand staff was so professional and helpful all the way up to the day of the wedding. Being from New York and it being a destination wedding we were nervous of picking vendors we would not meet, but we were not worried at all about the music once we had conversed through e-mail and phone conferences with the staff of Dj Rock hand. Our wedding was an absolute hit all the guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever gone to, it was a five hour party and no one sat down once. The music was perfect everything we asked for and more. The DJ and MC was able to watch and judge the crowd and chose the correct music to keep the party going. Great group !!!

Truly was the best DJ that really brought everything together! Everyone was super helpful and ensuring that all my questions were answered in a timely manner. They even re-confirmed everything with me. The lighting bars really did go a long way in our reception room and music was on cue with all transitions! Very friendly and great at judging the crowd with what got people moving. Even though there are other vendors that have slightly lower prices, you will highly impressed with what DJ Rockhand brings to the event! Everyone had a ball and I highly recommend!

DJ Rockhand and his MC Oscar were extremely professional and ensured our family and friends enjoyed the night away! I am so happy to have found such a great DJ!!
