  He did my wedding in may 2017. His amazing!!! You won't be disappointed, and you cant beat his prices for his services. He always returned my phone calls when I called the same day. He also helped me plan my wedding day schedule.

  I’d give him 10 stars if I could!

  John is not just a DJ, he really becomes part of the family. He spends a great deal of time getting to know the bride and the groom as well as family members. From the time he was the chosen one to be her wedding DJ, he has spent countless hours meeting with them regularly to go over every last detail and even though he has many clients, he makes you feel like your the only one. He truly wants every aspect of your wedding to be perfect! With all of his experience, he has so many great ideas and words of wisdom that one wouldn’t think of, “ah ha” moments if you would, and thankfully we took it all to heart!
  
  My future son-in-law has always said he can’t dance. When he expressed an interest to learn for his wedding, John met with them on a regular basis and taught them some beautiful dance moves that literally made people cry when they had their first dance, it was absolutely beautiful.
  
  Where do I begin in regard to flexibility? Due to COVID-19, my daughter’s wedding had to be postponed, and then three weeks before the day of, the venue in Seattle had to cancel. We had to move the venue to Kitsap County. This meant spending more time with the bride and groom as well as traveling much further than expected and he was right there every step of the way! The wedding was just two nights ago, and it was perfect!
  
  Your personal playlist is his top priority. He also had several of fun surprises that everyone loved and really got the party started! My personal favorite was the shoe game, trust me on this one! Or rather, trust HIM because he knows what he’s doing! He’s very in tune with the guests throughout so he can gauge how to keep things flowing in the right direction. My daughter and her now husband put their faith in him and he did not disappoint! As a matter of fact, they have plans of meeting in the near future as John was not only their DJ, but he’s become a big brother to them as well.
  
  The wedding reception was ridiculously fun and it was hard to find room on the dance floor! Feel free to hire any DJ you want, but if you want a truly great experience, this is the one, hands down!!!

  John is the best DJ we could have ever had!

  My husband and I love John and his family! He was incredible at our wedding. Not only that, he met with us every Sunday up until our wedding for a complimentary dance class. He taught us beautiful moves for our first dance. My husband and I are not dancers, by any means, and never would have danced before we met him. Now we want to go out and start dancing as a couple! He really became more like family than just someone we hired to do a job. He really got to know us well and I love that he loves what he does. He and his wife and kids are such great people whom we are so blessed to now know. He engaged the crowd so well at our wedding and I had several people come up to me after and let me know how much they enjoyed him.
  Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without John! You won't regret having him as your DJ!!

  Best DJ ever

  John was so much more than a dj for us, he became a friend. He did everything from MC to dance classes. John met with us every month to go over everything and make sure it was perfect for us. John was hands down the best dj you are going to fine. He is professional, knowledgeable, and fun! He made our event so special and we are so grateful for him. He has all the equipment you need to give your wedding that wow factor. We are so happy we went with john and he would be the first vendor we would recommend from our wedding.

  DJ Mercer = DJ Extraordinaire....Makes your day the best ever

  We have used John (DJMercer) twice, 1st for my daughters wedding and again for my granddaughters. Both were very different weddings with different types of music and entertainment desired. John was able to accommodate both their wishes for their receptions and in our granddaughters wedding the music for the ceremony. There was never a lapse in the receptions as if he noted things waning, he would get people involved and active again. He listened to all their wishes and took time to get to know them to make their days perfect. In all aspects he went out of his way to make their days exceptional. For our granddaughters wedding, when we contacted him he agreed to do the service even though it would be a little more expensive than competing vendors because he had to drive. He even told us average cost of vendors in our area. We later found out he was driving half way across the US. Irregardless the cost his services were worth every cent and a bargain considering the drive. I would have no reservations about utilizing his services again nor in recommending him for any type of event. He far exceeds any DJ's I have used or seen at other events. I wish I could give him a 10 star rating. Having DJ Mercer at your event is...Priceless. We consider him not just a DJ but a friend.

  Long Distance wedding

  2 years ago John was my wedding DJ and did amazing, so when my daughter got married last week we knew who we wanted. However we did not know he had moved. Sure we could have found someone closer and saved some money...but we knew John was worth it. Thankfully John agreed to do the wedding even though we were 20 hours & a 2 days drive away. All he asked for in addition to his fee was a place to sleep for the night.
  He was so appreciative when we surprised him with a 2nd night after all he did just drive 2 days to get here. As for a DJ... once again we were not disappointed.
  Prior to wedding there was a 3 way conference call between myself, my daughter & John. We worked out all the details. One the days finally came around, John was in communication with is rhe whole way. Once he arrived he verified everything was correct & made any last minute changes we wanted.
  At the reception he was amazing. He interacted with everyone. He can read the crowd & quickly learns to play off them. We told him anything goes & he ran worn it. Many times he had us rolling in laughter. He even got out on the dance floor to teach a dance. We had a very small reception (about 40 people) but you would have thought we had 1000. There was never a dull moment. Everyone had a great time. I would recommend him 100 times over.

  Amazing Wedding DJ!

  We hired John to be our DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! John went above and beyond what was expected of him and was able to keep our stress to a minimum. John offers so much more than just a DJ service, his years of experience working weddings really showed with his knowledge and ability to help us be prepared for what to expect on our big day. John met with us multiple times throughout the planning process, and made sure he really got to know who we were and what we wanted our wedding to feel like.
  
  John is also an excellent ballroom dance teacher. He knows many different dance styles and it was a lot of fun having him teach us moves to use during our first dance. We were even able to break out some moves throughout the whole night! We were a little shy about doing dance classes with John at first but he was able to make us feel at ease and create a fun environment. He is great to work with, full of energy and very easy going!
  
  Everything went great the day of the wedding and everyone had a blast dancing all night! John even came out from behind the booth to teach our friends and family some fun line dances. Everyone loved the music and energy, and it was a fantastic day!

  Gade wedding 9/7/19

  My wedding was yesterday and I CANNOT sat thank you enough! John went above and beyond my expectations. Music was fantastic, and the fact that he was able to get my now husband to slow dance for our first dance was fantastic! It was always fun having him around for the lessons. He’s punctual and very professional. I cannot say enough! Thank you for everything!!

  Fantastic!!!! 5 stars hands down

  DJ Mercer was fabulous. Highly recommend him for any occasion. I was at the Gade wedding today and he made sure everything went smoothly. From the wedding ceremony music to the full reception and even gave us ballroom dance lessons! I cannot say enough good things about him!

  Great overall dj

  DJ Mercer did a great job at a wedding where I was the photographer in Buena Vista, Colorado. He was very professional, experienced, and really got the crowd going and up on the dance floor. He kept the reception on track and flowing smoothly. Would definitely recommend!

  Unbelievably magical and beautiful with John -DJ Mercer

  From the very beginning DJ Mercer was passionate about helping create an amazing feeling and environment for my wedding. He was genuine and sincere and excited to help me on my special day. Not only was he an amazing DJ but he also planned the whole day for my wedding from start to finish. He had an organized lay out for every detail of my ceremony specific to how I wanted. He went above and beyond my my expectations and truly invested in making it a special wedding. He always met up with me to go over things no matter my busy schedule. He answered my calls and returned my messages. He made it fun. I enjoyed his dedication and heart in soul of being prepared. He mess there on my wedding and set up early. He interacted with all my guests and made them feel comfortable and welcome. He truly is an amazing experienced DJ that I will recommend over and over.   Highly recommended

  After searching for a DJ with the best combination of lights, sound quality and musical selection we found the perfect fit. DJ Mercer.wiki was very professional and was excellent at making sure our event had no down time. We received so many compliments on our DJ selection for the night. We will definitely be repeat customers and spread the word that the bar has been raised!!!

  We had a great experience with John. He showed up early to make sure everything was set up on time, he brought his own equipment even though we mentioned the venue had a built in sound system (and his equipment sounded great!), and set up uplighting and dance floor lights as well. Throughout the night, he doubled as an MC and DJ, and kept our wedding on track even though we had a very tight timeline. If you are on the fence about hiring an MC/DJ, I would highly recommend going for it - your wedding will fly by and having someone dedicated to keeping the schedule and making sure guests are aware of what is going on was wonderful. John was very friendly and did a great job playing things by ear, pulling in family and friends for activities to keep things exciting. He was interactive and even danced with my mom! Leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive and met with us the week of to make sure we were all on the same page. Overall, we had a great experience with John and would high recommend him.

  I have worked with many, many DJ's over the years, none as professional or reliable as DJ Mercer. From start to finish, he goes above and beyond to make clients feel comfortable and exceeds expectations. In an industry where DJ's are a dime a dozen, John is one in a million and I exclusively hire him for all my DJ needs. As a wedding and event planner, not having to stress about a flaky DJ is a Godsend. Thank you DJ Mercer!

  Djmercer was absolutely amazing. From before the wedding to wedding day and throughout the ceremony and reception I wouldn't ask for anything different. He is very personal and friendly. We are a same sex couple and he and his wife made us feel so accepted and were so respectful!!!!! I would recommend Djmercer to anyone needing a dj for any event.

We are a same sex couple and he and his wife made us feel so accepted and were so respectful!!!!! I would recommend Djmercer to anyone needing a dj for any event.

  I had the pleasure of attended a wedding for Angela and Dan James this past November in 2017 at the Stella Springs Wedding an Event Venue, in which John Cooley was the DJ. I very much enjoyed seeing him work with the family as well as all of their friends. He even talked the husband into doing a few wedding games to loosen things up. John was very flexible as this was an out side wedding with an inside reception. He did the music outside during the ceremony with one set of equipment and moved the reception inside where he had a larger set of dj equipment with more lights and speakers and beautiful up-lighting around the room. I enjoyed watching the bride and groom dance the night away with friends and family.
  John definitely made the wedding more than fun and memorable for the entire crowd.

  I want to thank DjMercer for doing such a wonderful job at my aunts wedding. He was very respectful and personal. He choreography their first dance and it was the most beautiful dance I’ve ever seen. He played all kinds of music, classic dinner music to the 60’s, and all the way up to 2017 top 40. He showed us all line dances and even did a dance off. I have never seen a Dj so ready for the job. What sets DjMercer aside from the other dj’s, (and I’ve seen a few) is his abilities to adapt to his surroundings. Our family will be using him again with future events we have.   John was fantastic. He taught us how to dance, and actually made my husband feel comfortable with it, witch is quite a feat. Those dance lessons will be with us for a long time. We had a blast at the reception. Because of him, he played the perfect amount of everything we’d requested. He was always prompt, and more then met us halfway on anything we asked for. He made sure nothing happened that we didn’t want, and always checked with us if he was unsure. I couldn’t be happier with our choices of Dj for our wedding

  John Was absolutely amazing! He kept everyone involved and had so much personality. He was also very considerate of everyone in the room and read the tone of events perfectly. Would recommend him to anyone!!

  My sister had her wedding last night. John you did an amazing job!!! You made you sure it's a night that we won't forget!! I do believe I was on the dance floor all night. I would have never thought that so many people would have went out on the dance floor and in all honesty it wouldn't have happened if you wasn't getting everyone evolved, keeping them interested and having them participate in the festivities. It was a big success and one to truly remember. it didn't matter what the age was from 2 years old all the way up to almost 90 everyone had a blast and enjoyed themselves and the music!   I called many vendors looking for a DJ and then I finally reached John. I was planning my own wedding for everything. I was completely unknowlegible about how a wedding should flow. I didn’t know how many songs, what types of songs, when the songs were played etc. John and his wife Talina were very patient with me and allocated a lot of their unpaid time with only our best interest in mind.
  They made it very easy for me by providing a template based on our goals, religion preferences, and which layout I wanted. SO THEN, to get to the exciting part, they showed up early to my wedding to set up. Went over all the plans with us. Littterrrally, handled everything making my memories stress free and enjoyable throughout the whole entire wedding and reception. He coordinated fun songs and entertainment at the reception that everybody loved. My wedding songs were exactly as planned. His equipment was excellent and he even neatly hung two microphones above our wedding arch to capture the whole ceremony
  AND we even enjoyed an hour and a half of professional dance lessons.
  John, your services, dedication, time, courtesy, and passion for what you did for us will forever be a solid memory on our big day! Talina took amazing professional unique pictures for us that we adore.
  Our family and friends told us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to.
  We give you both 10 stars out of 5. We absolutely hands down appreciate everything you two did for us in our most special memorable day ever. We could not ask for more. JSYK, We will be having you back out for parties. PS to the readers, because of the unexpected amazing services we paid them more than they asked for.
