  AMAZING DJ who saved our wedding

  We miraculously hired DJ Nate Slate just 10 days before our wedding (after our previous DJ went awol) and it was the BEST decision. DJ Nate is not only a great human being but excels at DJing and MCing. He listens to what you want, makes great suggestions without overstepping and MC's the perfect amount where it's effective but does not feel like you're at a baseball game. He reads the room well and knows how to keep the dance floor alive. Sooo many of our guests still talk about how great the music was at our wedding.

  Would recommend Nate in a heartbeat!

  We talked to a lot of DJs around the northeast ahead of our wedding, and we are so happy we landed on Nate. He was responsive, professional, and his intuition on music made him a great value. People never left the dance floor for three solid hours. So many post-wedding compliments from our guests...would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

  Wedding DJ

  DJ Nate was the ideal wedding DJ and MC. He kept the party going from the time he started to the time he finished. He provided music for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The dance floor was packed and we all had a great time. He also really listened to our vision for the big day and exicuited the music perfectly. If you are looking for a DJ who will keep the party going. I highly recommend DJ Nate Slate!!!

  The best DJ out there

  "I literally can not say enough about DJ Nate. There are four core qualities that I rate vendors on: Communication, Quality of work, Punctuality, & Above and Beyond. DJ Nate gets 5stars across each of those categories.
  
  Communication: Nate worked around my schedule, given I live on the west coast, and was willing to stay up late to walk me through all the details of what events require songs during a wedding. He provided me with a detailed word document to help make it easy for my wife and I to pick songs, and even provided recommendations, all of which we used
  
  Quality of Work: DJ Nate was the only vendor for our wedding that made sure to attend our rehearsal so that he was familiar with all the details of our wedding. He arrived early to all events, had everything perfectly set up and was ready to go long before our events started. I had a friend sing at my wedding for the entry of the bride and Nate made sure to work with my friend to ensure they had things spot on, come day of
  
  Punctuality: Not only was Nate on time for all our events, he was on time for all of our phone calls and if he needed to reschedule he made sure to let me know long in advance.
  
  Above and Beyond: Here is what made DJ Nate amazing in my opinion. First with the limited direction that we provided ( we were overwhelmed with all the other planning) Nate took it on himself to draft up all the recommendations for songs and then talk us through and get our feedback on what would work. Second, He sacrificed attending an important personal family activity because he had made a commitment to us and wanted to uphold that. He kept to our requests around music preferences that may not be as mainstream and yet still found songs and artists that had our guests dancing all night long.
  
  I would highly highly highly recommend Nate for any event that you are interested in doing, but especially for weddings."

  A+ Professional Service

  There aren't enough words to describe Nate! He is indeed a professional true and true and I am tremendously happy to have booked him for my wedding. Last minute, my MC cancelled without notice and Nate was my lifesaver! He played a majority of the songs my husband and I curated and everyone had an absolutely amazing time. Five months later and my guests are still talking about how much fun they had our my wedding because of the great music. If you are looking for someone who is patient, who will answer ALL your questions, thorough, quick on their feet and honest, Nate is the guy for you. We never met Nate until the day of our wedding, but through our emails and phone conversations, he made us feel as if we met him ages ago. Nate thank you so much for all you did to keep our reception alive and for jumping in last minute to be our MC. We truly grateful!

  Amazing Dj! Super professional and very accommodating. Dj nate will do everything in his power to provide the best experience for your wedding. Between his great song selection and charismatic personality, he kept the party going all night. If your in search of a dj for your big day look no futhere. Nate is the one for the job.

  Super Accommodating!

  We selected Nate for our November wedding because he was very personal and eager to accommodate our many specific song choices. He got the crowd up and dancing before dinner was served, then back at it after dinner. He even dressed with accent colors to coordinate with our wedding party! Very easy to work with, would recommend him to anyone getting married in CT!

  Totally professional and really, really fun, you can't ask for a better DJ!

  Nate DJ'd our wedding last weekend and killed it. The dance floor was packed and active from the end of dinner until the last song--and then the crowd demanded he keep going with a few more party songs, and he killed those too! Nate was willing to work really closely with us to make sure we had exactly what we wanted for every part of the wedding, from the pre-ceremony playlist to the cake cutting. We got so many compliments on our music, and it's all thanks to Nate.
