DJ Ian was unavailable for my best friend’s wedding and so we had his backup, Tony. I worked with Ian over a couple of months to set everything up. He was a pleasure to work with and was totally on top of his stuff! Once we had everything worked out, he relayed the info to Tony who followed up with me directly to go over the details. Tony was courteous and fun and everyone enjoyed the music. Tony had a great feel for what the Bride and Groom wanted which made my job all that much easier. Overall the experience was great from start to finish!

THANK YOU IAN! Ian went way beyond my expectations of what a wedding DJ would do. When my husband and I started on our wedding journey searching for wedding vendors it was extremely stressful. Everyone told us something different. On top of that my mom and my husband’s mom plus my two sisters were helping (or trying to help) us and it felt like we were going in circles. We recached out to a few DJ’s well Ian was one of them. When he contacted us back we had the best conversation and Ian just broke everything down so simply it was a complete breath of fresh air and a huge weight had been lifted off our shoulders. After he spoke with us he was also cool enough to call both our moms and my sisters. The next day we booked Ian and we also cancelled our day of coordinator as Ian basically handles what we hired her to do and that saved us close to 2K right there. Throughout the entire process Ian helped us with so many things little details that have nothing to do with what a DJ would do. Our wedding was unbelievable and so much fun! I had so many people tell me that this was the best wedding that they had ever been to! Everyone, even my 87-year-old grandpa was dancing. Words cannot express how thankful I am to Ian for all his efforts. If you are looking for a person to make your life easy and your wedding amazing don’t think twice about calling Ian. THANK YOU IAN!

Ian was amazing to work with and provided us an amazing DJ, Steve. My mom hired him for our wedding as a gift just a month before our wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the services he provided for us, it truly made the difference having his services from Dj to MC and even helping us to set our itinerary for the day of the wedding. The whole process of choosing our wedding music and what is to be said by the MC for different moments of the wedding day was made so easy to do online through his website. I would absolutely recommend him. We also loved that he kept to our music we chose and kept everything clean as far as lyrics of the music. Thank you Ian and Steve for making our wedding day extra special!

DJ Ian B was awesome. We connected immediately. He called me and we talked several times for a few hours, not only being a DJ but coordinating the wedding and reception. Very knowledgeable about all aspects. And then the worst happened. He was injured. A DJ who worked with him was available. Tony. He picked up where Ian left off. Amazing. He put my fears to rest. Tony stepped in and took over. Coordinating like the expert that he is. My husband had said. We don’t need a DJ, no one will dance, I will play my IPOD. I laughed. EVERYONE danced all night and no one left early. We are still hearing about our wedding was the best they had ever been to. Tony had everyone up and dancing. Don’t hesitate to hire them. You will be the lucky one.

Dj Ian was the perfect choice! We are located out of town and he was on the phone with me figuring out exactly what I wanted, even when I wasn't sure myself! If you're looking to host a fun and unforgettable celebration, hire DJMC Ian B! He was incredibly thoughtful about all the little details that go into making a great party. Ian worked seamlessly with our other vendors and made sure that we were taken care of. From start to finish, he had awesome energy and kept the party going and on track all night. This guy is a stud. I booked Ian for our wedding after talking with him for over an hour discussing what we were looking for. My wife and I had several conversations with him that all were hours long. He never made us feel rushed or anything. Extremely personable and an awesome personality. Honestly felt like the whole time I was talking with a long time friend. The day of the wedding came and he was there with plenty of time to set up and acted as our coordinator to ensure eveything stayed on time. Several times as I was setting up the venue with my groomsmen, Ian checked in and helped calm my nerves as I was freaking out a little with trying to make eveything perfect for my bride.

All through the night he was a great entertainer. He kept the music pumping, and there was never a dull moment. My wife and I could not be happier. There is no doubt we made the best choice for our wedding. I will never hesitate to use him again or refer him to anyone in need of a dj.

Ian was wonderful to work with and was able to offer up suggestions for keeping the crowd happy and hyped. The groom and I do not have a lot of single friends and did not wish to make anyone feel uncomfortable, but Ian had solutions for that - make a prize available and have all guests, single or not, out there to catch the bouquet/ garter. The newlywed game was also a hit because families from both coasts got to know interesting things about us as a couple. In terms of communication and preparation, Ian had forms for us to fill out to select our music for important moments and was very open to any titles and artists we wanted to hear for sure. During the reception, he got feedback from my Maid of Honor to change the music style and he did so quickly and amiably. I really felt like he worked well with my Disney wedding coordinator and the photographer and they all shared timelines, etc. to ensure it all ran like a well-oiled machine. In addition, the up-lights Ian provided were beautiful and kept us on budget. I appreciated everything he did for us to make our wedding special and worry-free.

My aunt (who works in the wedding industry) suggested Ian to us after he DJ'd her nephews wedding and she said he was great. Knowing her expertise, I contacted Ian and the rest is history. He was extremely easy and helpful to work with and always replied quickly to any questions we had. Our wedding was a huge hit and I know part of that was due to Ian and the energy he brought to our special day.

Words can not describe how happy I am that we chose Ian to be the DJ at our wedding. I love to dance and my biggest fear was that my guests wouldn't dance at my wedding. Ian got every single guest out on the dance from my little flower girls to my husband's grandma in her wheel chair. He created such a fun atmosphere everyone had a great time. In the planning phase he had a lot of great suggestions to make things fun and run smoothly and gives you a form to fill out to make sure you get all of the songs you want and to make it personalized to the couple. On the day of the event things ran so smoothly with him, he worked great with the caterer and made sure the photographer got all of the important moments. The music selection was great from cocktail hour to the open dancing. I can't recommend him high enough, he made my wedding so much fun!!

Ian was outstanding!!!!! We hired Ian as the DJ for our wedding and we have nothing but great things to say about him. From start to finish he was always on his game and was always proactive at keeping us informed on what he needed from us and on his plan for the wedding. It's obvious that Ian has a lot of experience with weddings, and helped guided us through a lot of the coordination pieces of our wedding. Our wedding ceremony went very smoothly with the music perfectly timed and transitioned. When it came time for the reception, Ian had created an excellent music selection from our music preferences we had given to him prior. When ever a song seemed to not be to the guests' liking, Ian was quick to change the song for a better response. Oh man, what can I say?!?! I LOVED Ian and can't imagine a better DJ/MC for my wedding day! My wedding was on 11/12/16 and I started looking for my DJ in June. Being in SF planning for a socal wedding, I had to take a leap of faith picking my vendors and just feel so incredibly lucky to have found Ian. Ian was professional, energetic, and extremely organized. I felt like he always had my back, sent me ceremony and reception profiles early on, and even suggested fun games for my guests (which they loved!). He had been at my venue (University Hills Community Center) and made great suggestions for where to have the ceremony and reception. Music is NOT my forte (or my now-husband's) but Ian made me feel at ease because he was so confident he could keep my guests pumped throughout the day. Honestly, what completely sold me was when we finally met Ian (after we already hired him) -- he went out of his way to meet with us the only weekend we were in Irvine on August. After that visit, even my husband said he felt like I picked well for our DJ (the highest praise if you know my husband!). Ian just has a contagious positive energy and good spirit, great ideas for a fun time, and great personality. In the month before our wedding, Ian spent HOURS talking with me, making sure all the details of our timeline was set, that I felt good, and even gave me honest advice about our key songs (I am very indecisive). He made me feel so confident about our day and how smoothly it'd go. We ended up having the wedding of our dreams and couldn't be happier. So, if you're reading this and trying to pick your DJ, you definitely can't go wrong with Ian!! THANK YOU for the incredible memories!! You're the best and I hope to get to work with you again!!

DJ Ian was AMAZING, he was so professional, he had a positive attitude! Ian had this up beat energy which was awesome! Everyone enjoyed themselves and complimented how awesome the music was, we had a little bit of everything! Even when I had a little bit of a meltdown he made me laugh and forget about it. Ian was incredible from the initial inquiry through the planning and song selection to the day of and during the entire wedding. He answered all of our questions and took us through our wedding timeline so we knew exactly what to expect before our big day. On our wedding day he acted as coordinator and made sure the cake and catering was set up and worked so well with our officiant and photographer the entire evening. He made sure my husband and I were having fun and knew what was next and kept our guests out of their seats, dancing. We had so many compliments on what a great night it was and how much fun everyone had. We didn't want the night to end and Ian was a major part of that! Hope to work with him again soon! Thanks Ian!

Ian exceeded any of our expectations by far. Although we had a daytime wedding, DJ Ian's enthusiasm and energy created such a positive and fun experience for all of our guests. There wasn't a dull moment or dip the entire time. We got so many compliments from our guests...they loved him!

Not only is he an awesome DJ/MC, Ian helped us out tremendously before with our scheduling for the day and coordination. He worked well with all of our vendors as well and kept us on track.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Ian!!!

We tried to book Ian for our DJ, but just missed him. Ian was already booked for our day. He then set us up with another DJ that works with him. Ian's entire team was very responsive and helpful. I always felt I could call Ian or Steve (the DJ Ian set us up with). Steve even went out to our venue to scope out their sound system for us and was present for our walk through the week before our wedding. Steve was a great DJ. He never stole the spotlight for himself, but was great at keeping the party moving. I've already recommended Steve and Ian to a friend of mine. There was never a moment that I questioned working with Steve or Ian. You won't be disappointed!

We got married on March 18, 2016 and had DJ Ian as our DJ. Either by Email or phone, conversations were always full of information. The planning forms were extremely helpful in figuring out how we wanted the entertainment for the night to go. DJ Ian is extremely organized and patient. He has great advice but never pushes you into anything you don't want. He listens and answers extremely well. We had people on the dance floor all night, everyone had a blast. I would highly recommend! He is a great day of coordinator as well, makes it completely stress free! Thanks!

Where do I start? DJMC Ian did a phenomenal job. He was so much fun to work with and very entertaining. The level of professionalism and care and feeding I received on my wedding day was way beyond what I expected. DJMC Ian had everything under control and kept our wedding and reception on track. He took all the weight off my shoulders so that I could actually enjoy my day. Additionally, I received numerous compliments on the dance music selection. I am so glad I found him and that he was available on our day. If I had to plan another event, he would be the first vendor I contact. Ian was absolutely the best decision we could have made for our wedding! He was full of wonderful advice, awesome energy, and killer music suggestions. We had the best time with him. Just talking to him once I had complete faith in him. He is so organized and does a stellar job at getting everyone out on the dance floor and keeping the energy flowing. I am so glad we listened to all his advice. Everyone had a blast at our wedding. Everyone told us that the dj will make or break your wedding and it is sooo true! Ian made our wedding!!! Dj Ian was a great choice for our wedding. He's got a lot of experience and it shows. He's been to a lot of OC venues, including ours, which also helped to make things smooth. He was professional, responsive, helpful & helped keep the crowd entertained. We had multiple phone meetings w him prior to the wedding so he knew exactly what we wanted. My initial contact was DJ Ian however my DJ for the event was DJ Tony; both were amazing to work with. We definitely lucked out getting DJ Ian for our wedding a few weeks back. We went through dozens of DJ reviews before deciding that Ian was the guy for us - from email communications to meeting him person, we knew right away that we wanted Ian to be at our wedding. He was very professional and organized. He gave us questionnaires that assisted with music choices and also orchestrated a very fun newly-wed game during the reception. It was a blast!

Ian arrived on time and set up the event. He looked very professional and followed the timeline we discussed, perfectly. I honestly had no worries about what was happening throughout the wedding because I trusted his experience – he even acted as event coordinator at the reception and we couldn’t have been happier with his performance. Everyone commented on how smooth the event went and the music choices were remarkable. While reminiscing shortly after the big day, my wife and I were talking about how great the music sounded. Everyone got on the dance floor and really seemed to enjoy the evening. Ian played music from all different genres, a fantastic collection of newer music mixed with wedding classics – we were very pleased with the evening. He even got my mother and father to get on the dance floor, which I didn’t think was possible ;p

I will definitely be using DJ Ian for any/all future events and I highly recommend him if you have an upcoming wedding/event that necessitates a DJ.

Ian was the DJ for my wedding. He was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. I even had a few last minute changes that he was able to accommodate with no problem. He even brought a dance light for us since he knew I really wanted to get people up and dancing. The music was great and everyone had a such a good time. Ian is great. Honestly, my wife and I would have had no plan comparable to the one provided to us by Ian for the reception. He was on time, in communication with us and our caterer and photographer before and through the wedding, and so so pleasant in person. Our wedding was small, intimate, and all of our guests continue to tell us how well the reception went and how supremely organized it came off. Much of the credit for this goes to Ian. Ask him for a quote and rundown, it'll be worth your time. It went so well for us that I asked him for business cards, which I have since passed out to engaged couples. Do it, do it, do it!

DJ Ian did an amazing job as DJ and MC of our wedding. He is very responsive, reliable, and organized. He answered all of our questions in a timely manner and took time to put together the wedding that we wanted. Not only did he play great music, but he also worked as a day-of-coordinator for us, in making sure there was a timeline in place for the ceremony and reception and that everything went smoothly. He read the crowd well when it came to the dancing and brought a lot of energy to the reception. Our guests had a great time and it was a very stress free experience for us. Thank you DJ Ian!!

I am sorry it took me so long to finally write this review, but even this long after the event, I can honestly say that the services provided by Ian were, without a doubt, one of the reasons our wedding was stress free, easy, and fun! He spent the time it took (which, poor guy, meant hours on the phone with me!) to carefully plan out music and the structure of the entire event - and it was seamless. During the wedding, like every wedding, unexpected things or requests occurred and he made it work. Honestly, I am so happy to have had the chance to work with Ian - I had no clue what I was doing and he helped me figure it all out!

We had a country vintage wedding and wanted music for dancing that was more than just line dancing. Ian was perfect and totally understood what we wanted from the very first meeting. Ian was an AWESOME DJ for our wedding. I was an overwhelmed, scatterbrained, unorganized bride but Ian helped me out tremendously. He is great with communicating via phone or email anytime. He advised me that I didn't need a day of coordinator because he would be there to guide us through our day and he did! So glad he helped me save a chunk of money by not having a DOC because he was right there checking on my husband and I to see if we were okay and having a good time (and always having a drink in hand) and letting us know what was going to happen next. Ian was definitely a great choice for us and is for anyone else who is looking for a great DJ. People were on the dance floor till the end of the night. THANK YOU IAN FOR EVERYTHING!!!

DJ Ian was amazing! Very professional from beginning to end. My husband and I did all of the wedding planning ourselves which was very hard and stressful since neither one of us had ever planned a party of that caliber. DJ Ian made this part of the planning super easy and painless. He helped guide us every step of the way. He had lots of ideas and was very patient with us. You will not regret booking DJ Ian B for your wedding. He is without a doubt the BEST DJ. He's not only a DJ but he is your coordinator. He will go over everything with you from before you walk down the aisle to when you run off and drive away in your ride. He will help you envision what you want and make your dream a reality.

He will play YOUR music, what you want...whatever it is. I really liked that because it gave our wedding character, our character. Ian helped make our wedding special and different. Everyone had a great time. Guest kept commenting on how great the music was. When I got back to work from our honeymoon everyone kept telling me that our wedding was the best wedding they've ever been to!

Ian helped make sure that we even got great pictures to remember the day by. Everything from great group photos on the dance floor to getting great table photos with our guest.

He also worked with our budget! Very important! I told him our limit and he stuck below it. By the end of our wedding night we were so impressed by his services we were almost ready to give him ALL the money from our money dance as his tip!

In short, your DJ is one of the most important factors on your wedding day. Besides the bride and groom of course! You will NOT REGRET booking with DJ Ian. We cannot speak highly enough about the guy. He is truly the best DJ, event planner and all around nice guy. Give your guest a FUN, EXCITING, and MEMORABLE wedding to attend and not your usual boring "I hope they have an open bar so I don't kill myself" wedding.

5 stars just wasn't enough! If I could I'd give 10 stars! Ian was the best! He was not only our dj at my wedding but he basically coordinator also. Despite the fact that I was a giant stress ball months before the wedding he called me and spent time going over each detail, each step and kept reassuring me things would be perfect. He calmed me down, gave his professional opinion (which I took with open arms) and he even picked my song I chose to walk down the aisle too, which was unique and ended up being a show stopper. He was very professional, easy to talk to, and easy to get a hold of which was a huge because I had a million questions and worries. The day of my wedding was perfect because of him. He kept the crowd pumped, he would communicate with me and my husband before starting any event like cake/ food/ bouquet toss, etc. to make sure we were ready and our photographer was ready. He communicated with all my vendors so i didn't have to the day of my wedding which allowed us to sit back and enjoy all the hard work we had put into our one special day! If you're looking for an amazing dj ian is your guy! I'm a real bride, that went through all the real stress of planning a wedding and I don't regret anything about choosing ian! My wife and I interviewed many djs before deciding on using Dj Ian's services and are so glad we were patient because it certainly paid off big time! :))
I can't say enough good things about Ian and I am grateful he was so part of of wedding experience.Ian was always in contact with us making sure the planning process was easy as 1-2-3 and was always available to talk with and willing to answer any questions! He always anticipated what we might need and would always reach out to us with information and support! You can't pay for this type of service it is simply a gift he has.
The planning process was so easy using his online services and we couldn't have been happier that all the songs we wanted he had available!!
Throughout the night the mood was set perfectly with Ian's flawless transitions..and the dance floor was always packed with people enjoying the music!
Our contract said the music would stop at 11pm but we were easily able to extend that time at the wedding for a reasonable price..which was perfect because no one was ready to leave.
I knew the Dj would play an important role in making the night a success but I couldn't have been more thankful of the professionalism and approachable/fun personality of Dj Ian who was right there with us throughout the whole planning process and the day/night of!! He's the total dj package!

DJMC IAN B provided us with a wonderful DJ that was availble and helpful to all the bride and groom's questions, requests and needs! Some of the requests were made last minute and the DJ made himself available on even the day before the wedding to again review all the music and requests for announcements, extra microphones and any other needs that had come up or changed since initial planning. All the requested music was avaiable and played loud and clear without unnecessary blasting to annoy the neighbors as the venue was a private residence. Everyone enjoyed the music and there were no complaints from the neighbors! DJ was a really nice guy!

Ian was a fantastic DJ and emcee for our wedding! He was the first and most enthusiastic responder to our request for DJ quotes and availability when my wife and I were searching for a wedding DJ. Ian’s expertise, professionalism, and experience were invaluable in helping us organize our ceremony and reception, as we didn’t have a wedding coordinator. He provided detailed timelines for organizing the reception, and recommendations for how we could personalize it. He also helped to put us and our officiant at ease about the flow of the day’s events and how we would all make it through the ceremony, first dance, etc. On our wedding day, he arrived early to make sure he was ready and everything was set up properly. Even though the venue didn’t have ideal accommodations, Ian had a positive attitude and adjusted his setup to make it work. He left no detail to chance and made sure we knew what to do and where to be for events like the entrance, first dance, cake-cutting, etc. He told us his goal was to save us from worrying about the details, and he succeeded. He was fun, upbeat, and on top of things. He worked well with our photographer and videographer, helping to keep them in the loop about the reception schedule.

Ian is friendly, easy-going, and flexible. While he provided us feedback regarding our music selections, he was adamant about wanting us to choose the music we felt best represented us. For the reception, we provided general music guidelines and Ian created a seamless set of older and current music that created a fun reception our guests raved about. I would definitely recommend Ian to others and would use him again if we have an occasion to do so.

I rarely, if ever, write reviews for services I have purchased. However, Ian's service as a DJ/MC was exceptional, in my opinion, and more importantly goes well beyond a purchased service.

Initially, he was very interactive and adaptable to the running format of our wedding reception. With very little notice, Ian worked with us and helped us put together a beautiful celebration of our marriage. It was a week away and Ian was able to hone in on the desired aspects, according to tradition (Chinese), that we would like to have shared with the guests at our wedding reception; which took an amazing amount of stress off of us.

Ian did an amazing job. His selection of music was excellent. Throughout the reception Ian was attentive to the mood of the guest and the hosts as well, attending to the schedule along with the evolving nature and attitude of the party overall. He did a wonderful job of making the reception flow. He anticipated certain moods and feeling per moment and guests involved in the event allowing for an easy-going and a perceived well-rehearsed event. He was very professional and created a relaxed atmosphere which everyone really seemed to enjoy. Everyone had a great time, which I attribute 75% to 90% Ian's performance.

We would highly recommend Ian to all our friend's and family's future events.

DJ-MC Ian was AMAZING!!! Where do I begin?! My husband and I were so excited to have Ian at our wedding; he was so easy to work with and truly cared about all of the details, making sure everything was perfect. DJ Ian B. had our wedding reception in total control! He was totally organized and kept his attention and promptness to our reception activity schedule for our special night. He was very assertive and was very able to pump up the crowd when needed all during the night. As we did our grand entrance you could totally feel the massive energy level of the crowd prior to our entrance. It was fabulous. I found DJMC IAN B on The Knot and he was part of what our wedding and reception special and memorable. He was super flexible on times we could meet/talk on the phone for planning purposes, which was awesome since I was still working almost 60 hours a week at that point. He helped walk me through the different things I needed to think about when choosing songs and pacing, which was great since I had NO clue what I was doing. However, I could tell that, had I been a bride who knew EXACTLY what she wanted, he would have taken my vision and made it happen too. Everyone who came up to me after the wedding said they LOVED Ian and that he'd done a fantastic job. More importantly, my husband and I felt he'd made the event perfect for US. DJ Ian B was an amazing DJ at my wedding and was the reason my husband and I had such a wonderful evening. He kept the music going all night, and played all the songs from my playlist. He also frequently asked my husband and I throughout the reception if we were having a good time, and if we were good with the timing of things. Before the wedding we spoke extensively on the phone to make sure we were okay with the timeline for the reception.

Ian loves what he does and by the end of your event he won't just be some "DJ", he'll become a good friend and that is what distinguishes him from everyone else. Ian did an awesome job at our wedding. I can say that he truly made our night! He went above and beyond the expectations that I had for a DJ, and went over everything with me multiple times before the wedding to make sure it was exactly what I had wanted, and that we were on the same page in terms of timing and planning. He even included a "Newlywed game" and "centerpiece game" that our guests loved.

I can't say enough about how great Ian was! When we sat down to plan out the reception, he brought up so many great ideas and so many helpful pointers that I would never have thought of on my own. He isn't just someone who puts together a playlist for your wedding - he will help you create a down-to-the-minute timeline as well as a specific "feel" for your big day. Then, on the day of, he will make sure that everything is going smoothly - but, most importantly, he'll make sure you are relaxed and enjoying yourself! We loved working with him and would absolutely recommend him to other couples.

Ian is an amazing DJ! He played all of our favorite songs and we had so much fun on the dance floor! He also did a great job helping us planning every detail with our ceremony and reception. DJ Ian was recommended by my venue. Leading up till our wedding day, Ian was very thorough. He made sure we went over every detail. He also had some great ideas to add to our day! He was flexible with our ideas too. I couldn't ask for a better DJ. He was on time, professional, and you could tell from the first time we met that he loves what he does and knows what he is doing. We had nothing but trust that he would make our day amazing. I wasn't really sure about the grand entrance. Ian totally helped us with ideas and music ideas. It turned out perfect. He got the crowd going and watched out for my Husband and I to make sure we were having a good time as well as our guests. At the end of our wedding we had people come and tell us that they loved dancing and loved the music. I would definitely recommend him and if I ever need a DJ again, I know who to call.

I am so happy I choose Ian as our DJ. He not only really kept the party going at the wedding reception, but really took the time before the wedding to get an idea of our style. Our DJ that we originally chose bailed on us a little over a month before the wedding and Ian really worked hard to get our music together in a short period. I loved everything about how he did the reception, the music, the games (not cheesy games, just cute little fun ones) and how he coordinated all the events (cake cutting, bouquet, etc.). If you want a DJ that is fun, energetic, and considerate to your every want for how you want your reception (or any party for that matter), choose IAN B!!

We were so pleased with the decision to hire Ian as the DJ for our wedding. He brought incredible energy to the event and really was a huge part of making our wedding truely amazing. We met with several other DJ's before hiring Ian and almost were persuaded to go with another DJ that was a little cheaper, but so happy we didn't. I highly recommend DJMC IAN B!!!!

I contacted DJMC Ian B last minute (my original flaked) and I couldn't be happier with his service. He told me that he presonally was unable to dj the wedding, but put me in contact with DJ Steve, which was amazing. Both of these guys had excellent communication, which put less stress on us. Two thumbs up for these guys!

Ian was referred to me by my Sister, who used his services at her wedding two years ago. I recall his outgoing and fun nature at her event, so it didn't take more than a brief minute of talking to know he was the guy for the job! To say the least, Ian was AMAZING! Through the entire wedding planning process, he spent many hours with me on the phone walking me through the entire day-of schedule, while addressing even the littlest of details I would never have thought of. On our big day, Ian arrived early for set up and pumped for the event! He kept us on schedule from beginning to end, he kept our crowd full of excitement, all while reminding Matt and I to eat, take it all in, and cherish every minute! On top of all that, his prices were very reasonable and worth every penny! He definitely has a passion for Weddings and being such a big part of the event, which shines through his Customer Service and DJ skills. I highly recommend Ian for any DJ service you may need, and will be sending all my family and friends his way!

Regarding quality of service, I gave Ian 5 stars because you will not find a more helpful DJ. He made it clear from the start that he wanted to help us make our entire wedding a success, not just the music aspect. He took a lot of time to explain things that my husband and I did not know about, and helped us create our dream wedding. I am confident in saying that some of our favorite memories of the day would not have happened if Ian was not there with us. He worked so well coordinating with our venue, making sure that everything went smoothly. He was very flexible throughout the entire day, including day-of decisions. Ian went above and beyond in every way imaginable. We cannot thank him enough.

Ian provided DJ services for a Father - Daughter group special event. We are with the Adventure Guides program from the Laguna Niguel YMCA, and DJ Ian was there for our Graduation Ceremony for the evening. His dedication to getting the details right made all the difference for our special night with our daughters. Ian is great! We couldn't have asked for a more organized, well prepared, high energy DJ! Ian put up with my incredible indecisiveness all the way up to a few hours before the wedding. He played a great mix of top 40s, oldies, Michael J and dance music. The dance floor was full all night and our guests had a great time.

Dj Ian was hired for our daughters wedding! Since I (her mother) was the wedding planner, I was very nervous about the flow of the wedding on her wedding day. I talked to Ian who informed me, he runs the show the day of wedding. He was a life saver and I for to enjoy the day without worry! He kept the day organized from the music to the guests being seated, to our daughter walking down the aisle, thru out the cocktail hour thru the wedding party introduction and thru the toasts, whatever you want DJ Ian is your man. He kept the party upbeat from beginning to end.
He works closely with the bride and groom to find out what they want in music as well as what they dont want! He is a true professional and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone for any occasion.

When shopping around for a dj it did not take long. I remembered when I attended a friends wedding about a year and a half ago and she had used Ian as her dj. I really enjoyed not only the music he played but the vibe he send out as an MC. So i called him right away and he was able to give me a price in our budget which made me feel sure I made the right choice!

My husband and I used him at our wedding and we do not regret it at all! He definitely helped us keep on schedule and Ian was very organized and worked well with all the other people involved in helping making our day special. Although we had some things go wrong from our other vendor, he was able to bounce from it and gave us ideas on what to do to make the most of the time we had him. Ian also gives you the opportunity to keep him for longer o the day of if you change your mind, which is always great!

All our guests were dancing and they all told us how much fun they had at our wedding. It is important to have a dj who knows what you want and helps set the right energy for the night and Ian did an outstanding job! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dj- you will not regret it and get what you pay for!

Ian was GREAT! We had a couple of "pre-planning" meeintgs and several phone conversations, where he was able to reassure me all would go smoothly. The event was a success! Our friends loved all the music choices and how the DJ did all his best to entertain everyone.
He kept everyone engage in the party, he did trivias and games with my guests while we were having our pictures taken and played all my playlist! we loved it!

Ian brings high energy and fun to any event. He knows how to get people on the dance floor and keep them there. He has an infectious attitude that keeps the party going until the lights come on at the end. Ian played a very important role in our wedding and he exceeded all of our expectations. He was able to hold communication from the very beginning via email/text/phone to ensure that all of our questions were met in a timely manner. We had very specific requests as to timing of each song and dance playlist and didn't miss a beat through it all. I didn't even really want a DJ for my wedding- for me, I couldn't see the benefit of it and I had been to so many weddings where the DJ just made things more awkward and weird. Wow, how my opinions have changed! My first phone call with Ian, he really laid out the benefit of having a DJ and how they can really help with the vibe, the flow and the overall feel of the wedding. Obviously, it's a lot more than the music they play. It took about 10 minutes of talking to Ian before I booked him for my February 2017 wedding.

Ian was incredible to work with from the get-go. He was responsiveness, helpful, and obviously offered such a long history of experience. He is the opposite of that stereotypical "cheesy" DJ. He helped me feel at ease with the wedding flow and was respectful of what my fiance and I wanted for the wedding, but also helped me see some of the best ways to keep the ceremony and reception going well.

Tony actually ended up being our DJ for the day of, and he was just as excellent! We went through the planning process with Ian and then had Tony be the DJMC for the wedding. He was fantastic- many people commented after the wedding how they've never seen a DJ get so many people on the dance floor. It was a lot of fun for all my guests, especially the older generation to hear songs that they recognized.

Definitely don't hesitate to book DJMC Ian for your wedding! You'll be so well taken care of.

Ian was energetic and really got our crowd warmed up which was a hard thing to do since both of our family are very quiet. The flow of the wedding and the music played were everything we wanted and was definitely a great value for the price. He was very attentive during the reception and checked up on us and how we were doing. All in all, the entertainment was a hit, all the music we requested were played. He worked very well with my cousin who sang for the ceremony. We had a great time at our wedding!

I thought that DJ Ian understood what we were looking for in terms of mellow, fun, soul music. We met with him and established the mood and vibe that we were looking for with our wedding and he was very receptive to what we wanted and didn't want.

I don't even have the words to describe him.
I don't see how this Dj has 5 stars because he is anything but.
How can someone cancel on their clients wedding 4 days before? Regardless of what "issues," were had?
Let me make along story short, I hired Ian 1 year ago, and prior to all the other issues we had he was hard to get in contact with sometimes taking 1 week to answer emails. But besides that in the beginning he was very nice and flexible, fasts forward to a month before the wedding, I had told him I got a day of coordinator, and when he found that out he was upset because her job is to plan the day out for me, which she did and when she sent it to him he was upset that nothing was the way he planned, which is understandable seeing that he had his timeline set, but when I tried to fix it on both ends (coordinator and Dj) he was still upset even though we had fixed almost everything to HIS liking even though it is MY WEDDING. Later that day he called to talk about the timeline and began telling me about all his various awards, and how my coordinator doesn't know anything because she hasn't been in business that long and in my opinion a vendor shouldn't have anything to say about another vendor like that, that is very unprofessional.
Now to this week on the 1st of May (my wedding is the 6th) he text me to look at my email and it was termination on contract ! 4 days before! He proceeded to tell me I paid late, which was a lie because I sent it and post marked it before the due date. But yet he still cashed it?! and he said I had a very unprofessional wedding coordinator, so he could not go forward with performing.
If I had paid late,why did he not cash the check and cancel then? If he couldn't work with me he had a WHOLE YEAR to cancel! It is completely unacceptable to treat someone that way. And if he continues to do so I wouldn't expect him to be in business much longer.
