Joey was the DJ at the Holdrege High School junior/senior 2026 prom this past weekend. Today in school, the students will not stop talking about how great the dance was. Joey plays the best music, got all the kids out on the dance floor, had everyone hyped up and involved. The kids LOVED it! The food was good, the decorations were great, the post prom event was fun - but the only thing the students are talking about is how great the DJ for the dance was. They already want to get him for next year’s homecoming and prom and they all want his contact info so they can follow him on socials. He’s the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!! He’s fantastic. -

We could not have asked for a better DJ than Joey for our ceremony and reception. From his ability to clearly communicate about the finer details to being extremely flexible with our schedule and adjusting meeting times, Joey helped make our planning process worry & stress free. I had two requirements for how I wanted my reception to go: I wanted to dance and I wanted the music to feel seamless throughout the night. From his perfectly curated playlists for different parts of the wedding day to our dances and every moment in-between, everything felt personal and like we could truly tailor our wedding day soundtrack to our personalities. Any request we had, Joey was able to meet it and go above and beyond our expectations. Not only was he able to accommodate our outside ceremony plus our inside reception, but you would hardly notice the change inbetween. Joey was the perfect mix of professional and fun. He brought the energy to our dance floor and helped bring our wedding to life. Friends and family have told us he was the best DJ at a wedding they’ve ever been to and we couldn’t agree more. Wedding DJ
Joey did an absolutely amazing job as our wedding DJ. We had him play both our ceremony and rehearsal and everything went smooth and perfect. He is very detail oriented and planning our day with him was extremely easy. He does an excellent job of creating the perfect vibe for each step of the wedding — ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance. The song choice was left
mostly up to him for our dance and he did a phenomenal job of playing songs we all loved that got everyone out on the dance floor. We had nothing but positive feedback from all the guests and members of the wedding party as well as the venue/bar staff. Everyone loved having him as a DJ and I had several people coming to me asking “where the heck I found such a great DJ” all night. Great DJ, and great guy all around!

Joey is incredible! I have never experienced a DJ like him. We were lucky enough to book Joey for our Vegas wedding - Joey has the best energy and really knows how to read the room. Myself and my husband have slightly different music tastes and Joey blended the genres perfectly. Joey made us feel confident before the wedding as he answered all our questions and checked in with us on the lead up. All of our guests commented on how amazing Joey was. Highly recommend! -

On the day of, he absolutely delivered: the vibe was on point, the transitions were flawless, and the dance floor was packed until 2am.
He masterfully blended classic rock, disco, dance-pop, and club tracks to reflect our personalities and keep every generation engaged. He also created space for beautiful, emotional moments while still throwing an unforgettable party. Our guests are still talking about it.

Throughout the wedding planning process, my top priority was finding an affordable DJ who would bring fun energy to the celebration – and I was lucky to find DJ Joey! He has such great vibes and truly made the night unforgettable. Not to mention, he handled my dad’s endless questions like a pro! Joey was also dressed impeccably and worked seamlessly with my wedding planner. I only wish I could’ve had him for longer, but since we had a small wedding, we kept it to 4 hours. I highly recommend booking Joey for your event! Plus, we even bonded over our shared Midwest roots!

I cannot say enough good things about DJ Joey Moon. From the second we met him virtually, we knew he was the right person to emcee and DJ our wedding.
He has an incredible bedside manner and will review your musical tastes and make strong suggestions for the event. Going into our special day, we felt at ease that this important decision was made correctly.
It's an understatement to say that he killed it. The music was great, and he knew how to get the party going. We had a family member, a DJ himself, do a set during the wedding, and the handoff back-and-forth went seamlessly. But, again, I cannot state how electric he made the party; we've gotten countless messages saying that this was the most dancing they've ever done at a wedding.
The only reason why we wouldn't want to write this review is because we want him all to ourselves for any future party we throw in Las Vegas. But that would be unfair to Joey. You should not think twice about hiring him. Genuinely great guy who will make your wedding, birthday party, corporate event, etc., a huge hit.
We will for sure hit him up next time we're in Vegas, just because he's that great of a guy. Clearly, we cannot recommend him highly enough. -

Don’t look any further! DJ Joey Moon is your DJ! He is the most kind and responsive DJ! He is so professional and an outstanding DJ! His equipment is state of the art and you will love him from the moment you hire him until after the party! I hired him for the Bradshaw All Class Reunion at the York Country Club in Nebraska on 8-10-24! I loved the fact that he and I could work from the same virtual space to create the party itinerary, it made our phone planning meetings easy to get through together and it kept us on the same page. I just can’t say enough positive things about him, he text me when he was in town for the party and he kept me posted on his arrival time the day of! My guests couldn’t say enough great things about him. He truly is amazing and he will rock your party! You can just sit back and enjoy and dance your ass off! I will hire him again and I am proud to say I now consider him a dear friend for life! Don’t hesitate, just hire him. You won’t regret it, you are hiring a world class DJ. I’ve never met a DJ of his Caliber, there just aren’t that many! He truly is second to none! -

If you're searching for the DJ who can turn your event into an unforgettable party, look no further than DJ Joey Moon! Our wedding was an absolute blast, all thanks to Joey's incredible talent and infectious energy. From the start of the party, he had the dance floor on fire, spinning tunes that had everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, grooving and having the time of their lives.
DJ Joey Moon knew exactly how to keep the energy high, transitioning from one track to another, making sure there wasn't a single dull moment. The vibe he created was exactly as we had imagined for our wedding night. What blew us away was Joey's ability to understand our vibe and preferences throughout the evening. He curated a playlist that felt like it was tailor-made for us from our ceremony to our cocktail hour and receptions, and finally the after party of our dreams.
Apart from that, he took several candid videos throughout the night that he shared with us, which were all the more special for us to look back on whole we were busy dancing the night away. His professionalism, passion, and knack for keeping the party alive made him the heartbeat of our celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our wedding an absolute hit! -

The title says it all. DJ Joey! We cannot recommend Joey as your wedding DJ enough. When we say he went ABOVE AND BEYOND - it would be an understatement. We had an outdoor wedding venue in Vegas on Labor Day weekend of 2023 - if you were in the area, you know there was torrential downpours and flash flooding. There was a lot of confusion and stress at the venue in the hour leading up to the reception to get us to location that was protected from the rain. During this, Joey kept a positive attitude and moved his equipment multiple times across several floors to be flexible. The weather ended up cooperating after making a game time decision, Joey threw up some umbrellas just in case to protect his equipment, and then he was ready to party. We had compliments all night on our wedding DJ, how much fun he was, and how great the music was. As a songwriter and producer myself, it was important to me that we had a true DJ and musician, not just someone hitting next on a Spotify playlist. If this matters to you (it should!), he had amazing song transitions, was able to read the audience well, and kept people on the dance floor the entire night. He got on a Zoom call with us across several timezones beforehand to run through our exact plans, made sure to play the hits but also songs that were special to us, and kept the energy alive until the very end. Thank you so much Joey for making our wedding an unforgettable rooftop party. We're super grateful to you and can't wait to hire you for our 10 year anniversary party!
