Star of the Show!
I recently worked with DJ Babyface for my wife's 50th birthday celebration. And while so many things were amazing about that night, including the venue and catering options, we received the most compliments from our 100+ guests on the talents of our DJ. DJ Babyface did not miss a beat that night!! We had a very diverse group of attendees (Age, race, culture, geographic diversity) and the music was just as diverse and blended well. DJ was able to play everything from Abba to Rihanna to Keith Frank (zydeco) to 90s R&B/Hip-Hop and everything in between. The dance floor WAS NEVER empty during the 4hr event. He was the most professional vendor we worked with and we will definitely obtain his services again. Book him early and pay whatever he is asking. He is worth every dollar.

Epic night with DJBabyFace!
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for my parents' 50th anniversary party than DJ Babyface! From start to finish, he was simply fantastic. His song selection was perfectly curated, hitting just the right notes for my parents' vibe – I found myself singing along and making eye contact with him to show my appreciation for his great choices!

The perfect DJ for every event
We’ve had the best experience working with DJ BabyFace Williams for 2 major life events now—our wedding welcome party in 2023 &, most recently, my husband’s residency graduation party—and both times he’s exceeded every expectation.
Cavin is very personable, professional, and organized. He really takes the time to understand your vision and the vibe you want, and he sets the music perfectly to match. He’s also a great communicator, asks the necessary details/questions, and is easy to reach (all which made planning less stressful). At both of our events, so many of our guests came up to us (during & after the party) to let us know how amazing of a DJ he was! He knows how to keep your guests up & dancing and keep the party going.
One of the things that we appreciate about Cavin is how smoothly he handles any issues behind the scenes. At our most recent party, he came early and identified & resolved audio & video issues that would’ve affected the event, and everything went smoothly (thanks again).

DJ Babyface is amazing! He’s very professional and detailed. From the very first meeting he goes over every detail of the vision for your wedding day. DJ Baby Face is absolutely incredible. We felt as though we were not the best at explaining our music taste but Cavin absolutely read our minds and got it perfectly! My wife and I planned our wedding reception in New Orleans and found DJBabyFaceWilliams here on wedding wire. The reviews were all very good so we decided to check him out. Our wedding reception was an absolute blast! One of my friends asked me during the first hour about the music and said it was really good (as a “host” that one line felt very good to hear as it basically confirmed that our guests were enjoying our “party”).
The preparation and planning that DJBabyFaceWilliams put into our event, and meeting with us several times beforehand was greatly appreciated. We had no doubt that it was going to be a great time. He definitely overdelivered and kept the night moving right along.

Amazing, organized, and the best vendor choice I made
Calvin Williams was by far my favorite vendor for my wedding. He was so organized, and on top of it. An excellent communicator, and quick to answer every little email and question. He made
our wedding the dance party I always wanted.
Being in our mid-thirties, we had more retirees and kids in attendance than guests in our age range, so we were concerned about finding a good balance that everyone would enjoy. Calvin delivered. I think every single guest was dancing at some point (and I mean everyone- my husbands grandmother, my 3 year old nieces, and my uptight bosses).
He also listened to exactly what we wanted. I found a slow version of our first dance song, as well as a pop-punk version, and asked him to fade into the up beat one to start the dance party directly from our 1st dance. He didn't just do a basic fade into it though, he completely mixed them into each other for a seamless transition. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined.
He even secretly worked one on one with my husband to create a unique mix for the garter removal/toss, which was “epic”.
Long story short, while you may regret some of your dance moves, you definitely won’t regret hiring Calvin Williams as your DJ. Words don’t do him justice.

Excellent & Skilled DJ 5-Star services
First things first, I did not want a boring wedding reception. I was very intentional on the music I wanted played during certain moments. DJ Babyface was way ahead of me. Secondly, during prep of music for the ceremony and organization everything was digital and could be completed online in populated fields. Every appointment he or we scheduled was ALWAYS on time. He mixed music for us for our 1st dance. Leading up to our wedding the communication became more frequent and we did a full run-through of the ceremony and critical moments.
At the wedding the music filled the New Orleans Museum of Art, which created an aire of such grandeur. The music sound was not overly loud and it was crystal clear. There were no issues with mics blaring, I mean sound went off perfectly.
Now the fun part! This DJ had our reception rocking from beginning to the end. The music selection was perfect and accommodate the taste and ages of all of our guest. The DJ read the room so well as if he was the author of the book.
New Orleans is filled with DJ's but the level of perfectionism, professionalism, skill, and details was on a whole new level. Initially we were nervous because the price seemed high for a DJ; but when look at all that we got and how he elevated our wedding including lighting and wireless mic set-up. It was one of the best choices that we made. We always pay for quality and hold vendors accountable and this DJ did not disappoint at all.

Aside from being a great DJ and master at what he does, he is also a genuine nice guy and and was a pleasurer to work with. His system and process will ensure sure that he helps create the party that is tailored for you. He didn't just ask for a list of songs...he took the time to get to know us a little through zoom calls to help us help him get everything right. Sound set up 10 of 10, selection 10 of 10, lighting 10 of 10, timelines 10 of 10...I could go on. So many comments from guest after our wedding about how good the Dj was! A Great Time!
Cavin was professional at all times. We really enjoyed the meetings we had before the actual wedding day. If we wrote everything the guests raved to us about DJ Babyface, we'd be here for paragraphs, so we'll keep it short.
We were nervous about how the DJ, any DJ would handle our wedding with such a diverse crowd and infuse in Bollywood music as well and our expectations were beyond exceeded. Everyone had a blast and he was so friendly and professional and kept up with all of the adjustments and changes and non-traditional games in such a fluid manner it was FLAWLESS.

DJ Babyface Williams made my job as a wedding planner so much easier. He was always ready to jump in and make sure the party continued without any hiccups. His energy and vibe really made the entire wedding continue on to have fun from when the first guest arrived until the last guest left out for the 2nd line at the end. Not only would I recommend him again and again, but I'm hoping to hire him for the next wedding I have coming up! We had a very tight budget for entertainment, and wanted to do it all (jazz trio, DJ, mic, speakers, the works). This guy handled everything like a pro. Although we spent a little bit more than we had initially wanted to, as soon as we met with him over the phone, we pinched in other areas to make it work. And it was worth it. He asked us such sentimental questions that got to know each of us individually, as a couple, and as a family unit. He understood the importance of this event for or families and friends. Because we were working with another band, he gave us the appropriate information to be able to coordinate with our venue and the band accordingly. He thought of things that we didn't even think to ask and he helped streamline our transition from ceremony to reception in a way that we hadn't even dreamed of. His professionalism and expertise was unparalleled and blew every other DJ we spoke with out of the water. He was the most responsive of any vendor we had hired, and helped set our minds at ease. Excellent service start to finish. We booked well over a year out to ensure we would have all of our 1st choice vendor picks. DJ Babyface was very responsive to our emails, provided details to make our wedding a success, and made sure that BOTH of us were included in the decision making. DJ Babyface Williams was an excellent DJ! We were planning a destination wedding and were somewhat apprehensive about hiring a DJ sight unseen. After having our first conversation (which was a hour long), all my fears went out the window; I knew DJ Babyface was the man for the job! He asked questions about us as a couple as well as individually in an attempt to get to know us. Later in the process, he sent a complete wedding packet that went over the timeline, primary song lists, preferred vendors, etc. And speaking of vendors, he referred us to our officiant, suggested places for our meet and greet to be held and other activities to do while in NOLA.
If you want someone that is detailed oriented, punctual, professional and personable, hire DJ Babyface for your wedding! Our quests stayed on the dancefloor throughout the wedding; my only regret is that we didn't book him to stay longer! We also appreciated the fact the DJ Babyface is diverse and plays all genres of music. Any questions/concerns that we had were addressed quickly (he was always accessible via email, phone or text). Also, I found his pricing to be very reasonable and actually a steal for the services he provides! I would not hesitate to recommend DJ Babyface to anyone looking for quality service!

We booked DJBabyFaceWilliams for our NOLA Wedding from NYC, not knowing anyone in the area. He was the most thorough, detail-oriented and legit DJ I can imagine. His questionnaires and FaceTime conversations really helped make us feel secure about our event.

BabyFace is an amazing DJ with an incredible attention to detail! He went out of his way to engage both me and my husband in the process and of all of my vendors seemed most concerned about the entire event and making sure that it turned out how we envisioned. Cavin talent supercedes his reputation. All the music we asked for was played. Even with last minute requests were met without hesitation. From the venue coordinator to the caterer, he communicated with everyone. He also went over the “day of” timeline and discussed important details to ensure everything would be in place.

Djbabyfacewilliams was amazing! He seriously made our wedding. The entire process from the first conversation to the last was very through and professional. He wanted to make sure he knew EXACTLY what we wanted. During the reception when we were running ahead of schedule he was able to make changes on the fly and keep everyone engaged. DJ BabyFace Williams delivered for our wedding! The dance floor was LIT the entire night. He was professional from beginning to end. It started with our initial phone consultation where he got to know us as a couple and inquired about our music styles. He then sent us even more detailed surveys and followed up with us when we didn't complete them on time. Anytime we had questions, he was available within 24 hours to answer them. We live in ATL but every time we visited NOLA, he was available to meet with us in person. Always professional and open. Despite his busy schedule, he always made us feel like we were a priority. DJ Babyface met with us two days before the wedding and played all of our primary songs to make sure he had the right versions of the songs for our ceremony and must plays for the reception as well as to answer any last minute questions. My family and my husband's family have different music styles (I mean we are from rivalry cities) so I was worried about the balance of music. He assured me that he would be able to meet the needs of everyone while keeping the dance floor live all night, which was a priority for us. We wanted everyone to have FUN and dance the night away. I was still a bit nervous. But let me tell you! He did not disappoint- the dance floor was crunk from beginning to end- young and old & NOLA and ATL. The mixture of music was perfect. His ability to read the crowd was phenomenal. Every time the photographer or wedding planner tried to get us to take a formal shot or sign the marriage license, we had to tell them to wait because it was literally hit after hit and we were on the dance floor with our guests having an amazing time- they had to drag us away and we ran right back. If you want a professional and phenomenal experience, what are you waiting for?!?!?! Stop reading and call DJ Babyface Williams right now! I promise you, it will be one of the best decisions you make for your big day!

Before diving into too much detail, I have to say that Dj BabyFace Williams was easily THE most professional vendor at our wedding. Not only does he provide excellent service, he clearly had a personal interest in making sure our wedding day was enjoyable. In fact, in moments of crisis at our wedding he was willing to go above and beyond his contractual terms to help out and assist. He wasn't just "any other vendor", he was an important part of our team and we are extremely grateful to him.
We had a number of calls with him before the wedding – he wanted to get a sense of the type of music each of us liked, the general theme / feel of the wedding that we wanted to evoke, and the types of people (ages, geography, music preferences) that we were inviting as guests. He also took the initiative to visit our wedding venues (ceremony and after party) in order to speak with property managers and get acquainted with the space. Prior to the wedding we walked through specific songs that we wanted included in our day and he provided advice as how to structure events during our wedding day so that everything could flow smoothly. During the day of the wedding he was completely on point – 100% worth his fee. He helped to make our “first look” memorable, helped to flipped our ceremony room into a reception hall, and provided comic relief during moments in which our nerves were high – all above and beyond his contract. Everyone enjoyed the music – there was something for everyone, young and old. He was a major contributor to our day.

Dj Babyface Williams is the real deal. He is incredibly professional, responsive, and and all around cool guy. We had several conference calls with him leading up to the wedding where we talked about the vibe of how we wanted our wedding to feel, any specific genres of music (like music from India and Trinidad for my husband's side of the family), the timeline for the wedding day, and all other small details that you wouldn't even think of but are incredibly important. In all areas, he absolutely nailed it. He gave us great suggestions on song choice and when to play what. When our wedding day came, he showed up 3-4 hrs before the ceremony start time to setup and sound check. Throughout the night he was on point, the whole time. He had everyone on the floor all night dancing, and really made our wedding the best it could be. If you want to have an amazing time and deal with a true professional and great communicator, book DJ Babyface!

First off, allow me to highlight the level of professionalism that was exemplified by Mr. Cavin Williams. After experiencing no call backs from DJ’s we were looking into securing, we got a referral/ recommendation to DJ Babyface Williams from our photographer. Because our wedding was destination in New Orleans, I was challenged with deciding on a number of vendors. After a conversation with Cavin, there was definitely a connection. We were certain that we we going with a great DJ.
His consultative process was very comforting. We had recurring conference calls to discuss playlists, timing and other recommendations for a smooth delivery. He was flexible with changes on the song list and also did his due diligence to ensure he had all the right songs (and right versions of them!).
Cavin met with us in person before the wedding to assist with day of scheduling and it was very helpful. He worked seamlessly with the venue and provided a best of breed service.
His set and presentation was impressive for a one man show!
The uplighting provided also added such character to the space. All in all, he was a great personality and great to work with through it all.
I highly recommend DJ Babyface Williams for your wedding event as well as any other event you may be planning.

We booked DJBabyFaceWilliams for our wedding reception & I have to say he is awesome! My husband and I did not live in town so our way of communication was through emails and phone calls and he will always respond extremely quick. It did not matter if it was 2 am, he still emailed/called. I knew that when I planned to have my wedding in New Orleans that my music had to be just as important as my menu. It was very important for me to choose a DJ who was professional as well as talented. At first I chose DJ BabyFace Williams because his website was professional and being an OOTB I needed someone that could deliver as promised. After our first conversation with DJ BabyFace I could tell that who truly has a passion for what he does. He brought up ideas and timeline points that we as a couple didn't think of. Even though I had to throw my timeline out the window due to circumstances beyond my control DJ BabyFace was accommodating. He interacted with my guest very well. DJ Baby Face Williams was one of my favorite vendors for my destination wedding in May 2015 in New Orleans. He was very professional, thorough and very easy to talk to about our special day. I was never nervous when I hired him for our wedding. Both my husband and I were at ease. I highly recommend him for your wedding or event. He knows how to read your guest and cater to what they like to hear as well as mix in what you have requested of him to keep the party going all night!!! :) He did both my ceremony and reception. He was very neat with his equipment and came dress for the occasion.

We just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for everything you did to make our wedding so incredible. You absolutely crushed it from start to finish, and we truly could not have imagined a better night!!
From the very beginning, your professionalism and preparation stood out. The multiple planning sessions, thoughtful questionnaires, and all of the time you spent getting to know us made such a huge difference. You made the entire process feel organized and we are truly so grateful for that. We also loved the custom sign and logo design! It looked incredible with your setup and it added such a personal touch.
Most importantly, the music and energy throughout the night were unbelievable. You completely understood the vibe we wanted and somehow made every single moment feel perfect. We have had countless people tell us it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to, and hearing that means all of the hard work you put in was worth it. The dance floor was packed all night, which was exactly what we hoped for. We can't stop talking about how much fun we had that night and we wish we could relive it every Friday night!
We also really appreciate all of the coordination you handled behind the scenes with Emily at The Roosevelt and with Jason on the saxophone surprise for Sarah at the end of the night. We know how much extra effort went into the coordination and the logistics of that moment and we are so appreciative of the work you put in to make it perfect. That moment was so special and memorable for us, and it would not have come together without all of your effort and attention to detail.

DJ Babyface was absolutely amazing for our wedding. We were planning our wedding from out of state and I had spoken with a few DJs but what put Babyface above the others was that he was so detailed and organized. Another plus is that he wanted to speak to my future husband at the time as well where other vendors are usually okay with just speaking to the bride. During our planning he was happy to give us suggestions for other vendors. The day of the wedding he stepped up to play music during the ceremony when we only hired him for the reception. He played all of the music we wanted, was able to gauge the crowd and kept people on the floor throughout the night! Then he is just a great person and extremely nice. You won't regret having Babyface as your DJ, hire him now!

Cavin was a wonderful, needed addition to our wedding vendors! His customer service, skills, and professionalism were spot on. COMMUNICATION was extremely effective and prompt. Being an out-of-town bride was not a challenge in this situation. We were able to coordinate one-on-one meetings when I was in town, use Google hangouts when we were not able to connect and he was ALWAYS a text message or phone away.
I cannot speak highly enough about Cavin's willingly to provide a memorable wedding experience. His goal was for us to enjoy our special day. His plan/schedule for the day's events was thorough. Cavin would mention moments that I forget to include on our wedding day—bouquet toss, wording to use when transitioning from the ceremony to the second line, primary songs for the ceremony and suggestions on when to do the cake cutting so my photographer could capture those moments. His experience and recommendations were priceless.
Furthermore, Cavin created smooth changeovers from ceremony to the second line; the second line to reception. He superbly introduced Mr. and Mrs. Green for the first time! The mood transitioned from hyped with the introduction for our wedding party to a romantic intro into our first dance. Cavin read our body language and energy to move along the Father/Daughter dance and Mother/Son dance—it was very special, perfect even.
As the evening progressed, family and friends enjoyed easygoing music while they dined. The songs played during this period were melodies that we could sing along and "chair dance". Following a well-executed bouquet toss and extremely entertaining garter removal—narrated by Cavin— our guests were treated to a medley of Louisiana's own Lil Bossie! We had a blast.
I experienced a challenge with PayPal that Cavin graciously and effectively corrected. Book him. You will be more than happy that you did.
