If you’re looking for a DJ who can turn your wedding into an unforgettable party, look no further than Zeke! From the moment he started, he brought an energy. Zeke was phenomenal! He was in tune with our vibe and played all the right tracks that had our guests raving about him long after the last song ended. I can't tell you how many compliments we received about his amazing mixes and ability to read the room! D'Brickashaw and I absolutely loved him! He truly made our special day even more magical. I’ve known Zeke for the better part of 20 years, since we both attended St. John’s University together. Having him DJ our wedding was so special, not just because my (now) husband and I went to the same college as him, but because he’s absolutely the best person for the job! He had DJed my sisters wedding a couple of years ago, and really made the party unforgettable, so we knew we had to have him do ours as well. His ability to read the room for what people what to hear/cater the music to a diverse group of people is what really makes him stand apart from the rest. At one point, he played one of my favorite Broadway songs, Seasons of Love, and I had never even told him about how much I love it! It truly made for a legendary moment with my friends, among multiple others that occurred throughout the night. Guests could not stop raving about the music and the how great Mike, the MC, was. Thank you again Zeke, and book him for any and all your DJ needs!

DJ Zeke was absolutely incredible! Our wedding brought together people of all ages and different cultural backgrounds—my side of the family being Haitian and my groom’s side not—and he managed to seamlessly cater to everyone. The dance floor was packed all night, and the energy never dropped.
We also used his Dancing on the Cloud service for our first dance, which was magical, and his photobooth was a huge hit that guests enjoyed all evening. Zeke was communicative, professional, and open to suggestions, though honestly, he didn’t need any—he knew exactly how to read the crowd and keep the party going.
By the end of the night, friends were already asking me for his contact information, and in the days since, I’ve had multiple guests reach out just to compliment how amazing the DJ was. I couldn’t recommend him more highly! -

DJ Zeke was a pillar of the St John's University community so I was thrilled to see him listed as a highly recommended wedding DJ as well and didn't hesitate to book him for my wedding. Zeke is extremely personable and professional which provided us with a lot of reassurance throughout the planning stage. He had a detailed process to understand our/our guests musical taste. He was very responsive and worked to fully understand the type of wedding vibe we were hoping for, including offering a photo booth and MC which was extremely convenient and economical to not have to book another vendor. We'd spoken enough via telephone and Zoom beforehand that we felt we already knew each other and had no doubts going into the event on what to expect nor in his abilities.
As for the wedding, Zeke did spectacularly! We had a decent sized (185 guests) wedding in a traditional wedding venue and he had all of the proper equipment and knowledge to handle both the ceremony and reception flawlessly. The MC was equally personable and experienced to naturally keep the flow of the reception without missing a beat. The photobooth was a huge hit with our guests who loved having a physical memento to take home and were able to save the digital copies afterwards too. Finally, the best for last, I'd have to mention the set/songs Zeke picked were exceptional. He had a wide variety of genres which was great for our guests of mixed ages, geographic, and cultural backgrounds, and seemed very in tune with how the guests were reacting to each song in order to tailor the playlist with the mood of the party in real-time. Every guest I spoke to after considered the wedding a huge success, a great time, and among the best they'd ever been to and most if not all listed DJ Zeke as one of the main reasons.
All in all, I couldn't recommend DJ Zeke enough for someone planning any type of event looking for great musical taste, professionalism, and simply great energy required to create a fun and comfortable event for all. -

DJ Zeke and his MC Mike Barber exceeded our expectations in every sense of the word and delivered the wedding of our dreams. I could not endorse someone more strongly than Zeke and his team.
We had the unique challenge of blending Egyptian music with American dance tunes, and Zeke seamlessly fused the two, ensuring everyone had the time of their lives. From the beginning of the reception, the dance floor was alive, and Zeke's confident and stylish approach, along with Mike's engaging MC skills, inspired every single person to get up and dance. The dance floor was full and vibrant literally the entire night. No lulls or breaks. His skill in engaging both Egyptian and American audiences shined. Again, he kept everyone dancing throughout the night.
Zeke's professionalism was evident from the start. He arrived fully prepared with his team, and the event unfolded seamlessly. Zeke brings the party and you should feel extremely confident that your night will go off without a hitch.
We were particular about our music preferences, creating a "DO NOT PLAY" list and sharing a playlist that inspired Zeke. He not only incorporated our suggestions but enhanced them, showcasing an understanding of when to play each track and at what point of the night. We also had Zeke play for our after-party, where he effortlessly kept everyone on the dance floor all night long...until 1am and closed us out with a bang.
DJ Zeke and MC Mike Barber went above and beyond our expectations. Mike's energy as the MC brought an additional level of excitement to our wedding. They were not just professionals but also easygoing and approachable, making it feel like we had known them for years.
In every sense, DJ Zeke and Mike exceeded our expectations. They turned our wedding into an unforgettable celebration. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Zeke, for creating the wedding of our dreams. Even now, I'm receiving texts from friends who can't stop raving about your outstanding performance. -

Words cannot truly describe how masterful DJ Zeke is! He and Mike the MC made a wedding a night we will never forget. From the moment I scoured his IG page after looking him up on the Wedding Wire I know I needed Zeke to DJ our wedding and are we ever thankful he did. From the initial conversation all the way up to right before the reception began Zeke did everything he could to make sure the wedding vibe was exactly as we wanted it, he listened to our requests, changed things on the dime if needed and he and Mike the MC keep the room jumping the whole night. I truly can't recommend him enough. Truly the best money we spent on this wedding was purchasing his service, truly the GOAT and we are forever thankful! -

Let me just start off by saying that my wife was worried at first as this was a multicultural wedding, and Greek music needed to be in a specific order/ mix- ZEKE KILLED IT. He blended the music beautifully, and really listened and accommodated all of our wants and needs. ALSO, MIKE THE MC WAS PHENOMENAL AS WELL!!! They were both early, and everybody could not stop dancing !!!! Truly felt like they've known us our whole lives. CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH!!!! (PS: I never write reviews, but the world needs to know how amazing these two are!!! )

If I could give Zeke 10 stars I would. I've worked events with him before, and was so incredibly impressed at the level of professionalism and fun that he brings to each event- that's not easy to do. I recently added him as a vendor to my roster of 20+ vendors and that was the best decision! Not only was he easy to work with (even when my client's change their wedding date), but he just brought the energy even leading up to their day. His worksheet is well thought out, the musical decisions were on point and our clients guests were on their feet until the end! Zeke will be the best decision you make on wedding day. -

As the bride, you do your best to make the big day as seamless as possible. Trust me, one decision that you can rest your complete trust in - is hiring DJ ZEKE as your wedding dj and emcee. My wedding was in the midst of COVID - but when I tell you Zeke's team brought the house down - they brought the house down. I've known Zeke since he was the go-to college DJ in New York and have since then witnessed him perfect his craft and his business. It doesn't matter what cultural background you come from, his team will incorporate authentic details that make the reception feel like the - best- party- of - your - family's life! You need r&b music? Done? Soca? Not a problem. Rock and Roll? Line Dancing? Easy. His emcee was authentic, hilarious, energetic and even learned key phrases in Tagalog since my family is Filipino! Amazing and exceptional!!
What can we say? DJ Zeke and the MC were nothing short of spectacular. They had people on the dance floor from the first dance to the last. My husband and I were concerned that since this was an interracial wedding that not everyone would dance, but we were proven wrong. DJ Zeke played a majority of dancehall and soca music with a sprinkle of edm and the MC made sure that everyone was on the dance floor. My husband is not a dancer and he was out on the floor the entire night. You know it’s a good wedding when people don’t make it to their seats. Well my husband and I only sat for the toasts and dinner. DJ Zeke promised us an unforgettable experience and he certainly delivered. We are extremely grateful to DJ Zeke for making our wedding such an amazing experience. Unforgettable!
Music plays a major part in any kind of function because it helps set and maintain the vibe and energy in the atmosphere. Therefore, I would highly recommend DJ Zeke Entertainment for any event!! My guests, as well as my husband and myself, were blow away by DJ Zeke and his MC Mike! They were on it! Our wedding day ran so smoothly and it was so much fun. The dance floor was never empty! Folks was sweating off their make up because the dance floor was so lit! It was fire! Even my 90 year old grandmother got up to dance! They know how to read a room and play a little bit of something for everyone. From the moment Zeke, my husband, and I met on zoom I knew he would be perfect. Zeke was fantastic to work with and as a music lover, I knew from the moment we spoke he would be our DJ. Our families are Nigerian and African-American and our friends and colleagues represent a melting pot of cultures. The music had to be reflective of this and he more than delivered. From our initial consultation, which lasted an hour an a half with us mostly talking about music, our shared Nigerian heritage, and how he and his team have adapted to respond to COVID, his range stood out and his skill at blending across genres was something I hadn't seen with other professionals we spoke to during planning. He's not a Macbook DJ. He watches the crowd and adapts based on the energy in the room and his emcee, Master in Ceremony, is right on point with keeping guests engaged and entertained. These two were a dynamic duo that had the aunties, elders, and youngin's all talking about the time they had at our wedding!! -

DJ Zeke and his crew were awesome. Not only did they keep people dancing from beginning to end, they kept us on schedule from ceremony to the end of our reception. When my fiancée and I decided to have a DJ at our engagement party, we scoured the internet and contacted close to 25 DJs and “production companies” (*yawn*). Though all of them seemed competent and were more or less within the same price point, we were looking for a very specific DJ who could accommodate our unique and specific needs. This was going to be the first time our extended families met and we were looking for lots of US hip-hop/dance as well as Middle Eastern and Hispanic music (middle eastern/Hispanic parties aren’t complete without lots of booty-shaking).
We came across DJ Zeke (aka ‘the shining star of NY’ as his Nicki Minaj shout-out would say) somewhat randomly and decided to give him a call. He was extremely responsive, super friendly, and after having a very thorough conversation, we decided to move forward with him…and man are we glad we did.
On the day of the party we arrived to set up, and he was already there. All set up and ready to go. He double checked with us on what music we wanted more of and that was basically it. We barely spoke to him after that and he just did his thing the whole time.
Now we were obviously expecting a DJ that knew how play the songs we wanted to keep the party fun, but Zeke was way more than that. He created an energy that made the atmosphere fun as hell. I don’t know how to explain it, but it just seemed like every song he played was the best possible song that could’ve been playing at that precise moment. He knew exactly when to turn up the heat, but also when to turn it down (food, etc.). Which is exactly what you need in a DJ, someone who can feel the room and can react appropriately. Usually DJs can amplify the effect and mood in the room—Zeke SET the mood in the room. With people on the dance floor he slowly knew how to escalate to have peak effect and when to slowly deescalate. It created exactly the kind of atmosphere that made people grab others who were sitting down to join in on the fun.
The transitions between songs were seamless—despite being completely different from one another. English to Arabic, Arabic to Spanish, it didn’t matter, everything flowed perfectly. One thing I even noticed was that he played Middle-Eastern songs that that were so Middle Eastern, you had to ask yourself, how the hell did he find this song?! It really didn’t take long for several people to come up and ask me—where did you find this guy? What’s his name? etc. One close friend who is getting married in the near future is even thinking about dumping the DJ they were going to hire to pick up DJ Zeke.
It’s not easy to DJ for a party and have everyone come out satisfied: old, young, white, Hispanic, Middle-Eastern, etc…but somehow it was done, and it was executed flawlessly. I don’t say this lightly: Zeke is a master of his craft. You’d be out of your mind to not book him. Needless to say, he’s going to DJ our wedding.
Don’t think about it, just book him. -

We initially had a hard time finding a DJ that we "felt" was good for us, until we found Zeke. Most wedding DJs, in my experience during the wedding prep, ask you the same questions and answer in similar matters. But there was something different about Zeke over the first phone call and I got connected instantly. I could tell he was able to understand what I really wanted for my wedding. I wanted to party like I was back in college on my wedding day with certain types of hiphop and top 40s. Zeke had a full unlimited list of songs in that genre and got everyone to dance, including the adults. Couple friends who know music more than the norm came up to me to compliment what a great job we did on hiring Zeke. I am Korean and it can be hard to get ALL Koreans to get up to the dance floor. That was not the case for Zeke and everyone had a great time because the music was nonstop on point and it was exactly what I wanted. He answers very quickly to all texts/emails and knows how to mix the songs, even k-pop. My parents were not familiar with the American culture of weddings but they absolutely had a blast as well and I know we could not have achieved a successful unforgettable night without Zeke's professionalism, skills, music choices, manners, style and everything. I love him and his work so much I want to find another opportunity to work with him again in the future! -

Zeke has been a friend of mine for the better part of a decade...I knew the day I got married, he would be my DJ! I have NEVER seen this guy have a bad set...until my wedding day...when he HAD THE BEST SET I've ever heard him play!!! He ABSOLUTELY MURDERED OUR WEDDING (in the best way possible, haha)!!!!!!!! We could not ask for a better team. We cannot even begin to thank you and the whole DJ Zeke Entertainment team for the unbelievable job you guys did. Literally not one person walked out without saying “the DJ, MC and the sax player were phenomenal.” We know that this may sound biased, but, we've NEVER been to a wedding this LIT...From ceremony to cocktails to reception he kept the oldies perfectly mixed with the "newies" -- even went so far to mix the old songs that the new songs sampled with each other -- keeping EVERY single person on the dance floor until they literally kicked us out of the venue. We've never been to a wedding where everyone was on their feet, partying the WHOLE time. He brought an extremely professional crew, light up glow sticks, TVs, different set ups for each portion of the party, a FANTASTIC MC, Mike Barber, and We have literally not one bad thing to say. They came early, were extremely organized, worked well with the venue, listened to our every request, took our cues from the dance floor. You took every word we said in our consult (even though most of it made no sense), and turned it into EXACTLY WHAT WE DREAMED OF. We love you Zeke, and the whole DJ Zeke Entertainment team. We're never doing another party without them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Our wedding reception was amazing thanks to DJ Zeke and his MC Mike! It's been 45 days since our wedding in CT, and our guests are still raving about the music and the party! We had an Indian-American fusion wedding, and the music is what really pulled the whole event together for us. DJ Zeke seamlessly interwove Bollywood hits, Reggae, Soca, hip hop and house music throughout the night. The wedding was a big cultural mix (Indian, white, Caribbean, and asian), but the boys did a good job of getting people out on the dance floor and keeping them there. Let's be clear - DJ Zeke is not a traditional wedding DJ - he works weddings, but he brings the party. You and your guests better be ready to dance. -

DJ Zeke was amazing on our special day. He absolutely surpassed all expectations and then some. We had a mixed cultured wedding. He played and blended music to appease the tastes of all of our guest! Simply put, Zeke was INCREDIBLE. He was hired to perform at both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. After the rehearsal dinner, friends and fam needed to literally ice their knees and feet from dancing so much. The dance floor was never unoccupied and Zeke managed to cater to all ages and genres of music. His MC'ing was incredible and kept the energy high at all times. On a personal level, he couldn't of been a better guest as he went above and beyond helping with non-DJ related tasks. He couldn't have done a better job and we plan on hiring him for any future events and have already passed along his contact information to at least 10 guests who plan on eventually using his services in the future. 5 DIAMOND performance! -

Let me preface this review by stating I had a 300 guest wedding, in a tent, on a private estate in the mountains of Reading, Vermont (every single aspect of my wedding was curated and logistically challenging and there was barely wifi in the area). To top it off, I own a consulting firm in NYC and events are crucial to the work we do, I also planned my own wedding (i.e I am picky as hell and not the easiest person to work with). DJ Zeke Productions went above and beyond the call of duty, they shut down the house!!!! Prior to the wedding, Zeke traveled to Vermont from NYC to asses the estate. He also designed a beautiful custom lighting which had our names on it and floated over the dance floor. No matter how delayed, annoying, or backed up I was in my planning process, he never complained and he consistently showed up. His team arrived the day before my wedding and worked with the tent company to ensure there was enough wiring, sound, and sufficient lighting to cover acres of outdoor space. The day of the wedding not only was his team there way in advance, at times he played sound in three locations at once. We were in a mountainous area and I was afraid the sound would be poor but his production was crisp and meticulous. To top it all of, he had an amazing host who kept the party going! Our wedding hashtag was from the #fromtheclubtothechurch, and Zeke had the crowd in tears during the reception and on the dance floor the entire wedding. My wedding was a huge production with a fusion of people from different cultural backgrounds and different ages but there is not a single guest young or old who was not in love with the music! People literally didn't eat because they were dancing! This is one vendor that I had not a single complaint about during my entire wedding! I would recommend this company a million times over to anyone!

I asked him to play a different song for each bridesmaids/groomsman entrance and his response was “whatever you want.” From the ceremony to the reception, he was amazing. He was on time and played til the very last second. His emcee Mike was also amazing. He even brought a photographer with him and the photographer took the most amazing pictures. They were so fun and kept people on the dance floor all night. I owe the turn up all to him! Thank you Zeke!!!

He really took the time to understand the eclectic mix of music we wanted - from new wave to hip hop to latin rock to pretty much anything else you can imagine, he flowed through genres seamlessly, and kept the energy high all night. And don't get me started on the amazing introductions he gave our friends who toasted us during the reception... absolutely phenomenal! From the first planning phone call to the last dance of the night, DJ Zeke was a pleasure to work with.

Tatiana Sent on 03/08/2018My husband and I were adamant on supporting Queens businesses. When it came to music, we knew DJ Zeke would fit our aesthetic and do a wonderful job. Zeke and I spoke on the phone several times to go over music selection and overall vibe we wanted. He answered all of our questions via phone, text or email. At first, I thought we didn't need an MC but I was so wrong! Mike B. was great and they work very well as a team! We had a fairly unconventional wedding, DJ Zeke and his MC were able to make the adjustments and pivot when needed. Many of my guests are having their own weddings this year and they have not stopped talking about how good Zeke was, and how they're jealous because they've hired others and don't think they'll compare. Zeke's photographer was also amazing. He captured those candid moments you'll look back on realize how amazing the party was. Even the owner of the venue mentioned Zeke was the best dj they've had in the space. I'm beyond happy that we selected DJ Zeke. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

We got married back in May of 2006, actually, and had the pleasure of working with him. He came to the venue ahead of time to get the lay of the land, he corresponded with us about our music selections to get a sense not only of what we like, but how we want the flow of the evening to be. His infectious smile, wonderful personality and ability to think on his feet during the event got the crowd up and engaged. And, it was a mixed crowd, which makes such engagement a challenge. Zeke made our wedding reception so much more special and even now, 12 years later, we have not forgotten! Thank you, Zeke!

He's a truly flexible DJ who knows how to tailor his style to the moment. Speaking of his style...he is well versed culturally and knows how to set up a good time for all people. Dan Sent on 01/04/2018My wife and I were lucky enough to know about DJ Zeke before we got married - we had seen him win a DJ Battle for Red Bull and were so impressed by how he controlled the crowd.
And when we were planning our wedding the only thing we knew was that we were going to have DJ Zeke as our DJ.
Working with Zeke was one of the highlights of our wedding planning process - we really got that he got what we wanted to achieve and trusted him fully to come through. And I really can't put words to how incredible a job he did.
Our wedding was the best wedding we've ever been to and that is because DJ Zeke was our DJ. Period.
Our dancefloor was PACKED and STANDING ROOM ONLY for most of the night. It was sweet when it was meant to be sweet and it was turnt when it was meant to be turnt.
We've watched our wedding video 50+ times and it is the BEST. We have the best memories from our wedding and again, it is mainly because of the amazing job of DJ Zeke. (Btw- You will want to have video of your wedding to relive the amazingness).

He was genuine, energetic, and kept the hits playing all night long. Our guests were glued to the dance floor. Zeke fit right in with the overall vibe and was one of the most complemented parts of our wedding. We can not stop talking about the music selections and some of the dance moves we witnessed by guests who were so moved by the music. DJ Zeke also came with an amazing and accommodating staff - Emcee Mic Barber (who is a must!), Photographer and Videographer. He also had some really cool lighted equipment. We felt like superstars...Flashing lights everywhere! Lastly, we had a separate live band that DJ Zeke flowed amazingly with.

As the resort provided limited equipment, he brought his own, without request, to assure his great service. I actually do not remember sitting the entire reception except for eating. We literally danced the night away. The staff of our resort as well as our wedding planner were practically begging for his business card afterwards. He completely exceeded expectations, as we knew he would.
