I met Zac a few years ago and have been impressed! He is very communicative, interactive, willing to listen, right there to help with announcements and paying attention. I'm sure in his field, a DJ can be very distracted and miss things but Zac seems to have his "game on" all evening. And his dedication and commitment to offer his services for free most of the time to help with a fundraising effort, is SO appreciative. I really enjoy his work--as evidenced by my spending most of the night on the dance floor. Keep up the great work, Zac!!

Zac Barr was amazing! He went above and beyond during our big day. It really made our wedding so special!! He has so many wonderful ideas to make your day special and unique! He was there every step of the way making sure we were on top of the game during the reception. I would recommend him to everyone I know!! Wedding Experience with DJ Zac Barr

It was our pleasure to work with DJ Zac Barr and his excellent assistant Gary. Zac’s experience as a Wedding DJ shows throughout the entire process from beginning to end. He has many ideas that can accommodate any type of reception. He made our process easy put us at ease about all of items of the reception. The Audio Love Story that he puts together and narrates for the crowd is a unique touch that will stand out to all your guests. The website Zac uses keeps everything nice and in one spot and is convenient to work on music lists well prior to the wedding day. Zac keeps tabs on the progress of all the details needed to make sure everything runs smoothly. On the actual wedding day, he did a great job coordinating with our officiant and wedding coordinator to keep everything on time. Above all, Zac was a great DJ to work with and we enjoyed our time meeting with him and planning our reception. During the reception, he did a great balance of fast dance with slow dance songs to get everyone out of their chairs and on the dance floor. He did a great job working with us and we couldn’t have been happier with the entire process all the way from our first meeting, until our last dance/sendoff he made it all feel special for us. We would recommend Zac to anyone in the market for a wedding DJ! Thanks Zac, & Gary!

DJ Zac Barr was amazing!! My now husband and I didn't really have an idea of how to choose music but Zac made it soo easy! I really hoped that I would be able to create a processional song that would make my husband laugh, and Zac was all about helping me do it. I kinda threw this at him last minute and within minutes I had the perfect processional song with added sounds! Our wedding was on Memorial Day weekend of 2016 which happened to break the 115 year high temperature record at 93 degrees. It was very hot and humid. I was very worried that the temperature would ruin the dancing portion of our wedding but I couldn't have been more wrong! DJ Zac Barr did an amazing job getting people to be dancing all night long! One of the many aspects that we loved and our guests thoroughly enjoyed was the introductions of the bridal party! He had asked us to tell him a little about each person and he used the information we gave him, asked a few specific questions and created these fantastic intros that made it appear that Zac had grown up with them. He was amazing at our wedding and I can't imagine the day without him.

Very professional, yet personal with his communication. Played the perfect mix of music for our wedding and was able to meet all of our requests. Everything was on time and went very smoothly. He was very engaged and sincerely cared about the success of our event. We would highly recommend!

Zac was amazing!

Zac and Gary were amazing! So happy they were apart of our special day. They had everyone up and dancing so cool and collected when a storm came through! The music never stopped! Definitely spent more time with Zac; he is so professional, a great guy, and fun to be around. Felt like we had our friend DJing our wedding! We highly recommend him to make your wedding dreams come true!

If you need a DJ for your event, look no farther than Zac Barr. Recently, he was the DJ for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah party and thanks to him it was a huge success. From our first meeting until the party, he was incredible to work with and made us feel completely at ease and invested in our event. Zac's library of songs is enormous and his set up creates a fun environment. People were dancing throughout the party (including friends and relatives that usually never get on the dance floor). Guest commented over and over about our great DJ, his wonderful playlist and the fact that the music was loud enough to dance and party to while at a level that people could still talk.
Zac Barr was incredible to work with and I would recommend him to anyone planning an event.

My wife and I got married at The Sagamore resort on September 17th and we used DJ Zac Barr for our entertainment. I found him simply by using Google and then reading reviews on such sites as wedding wire which was very helpful. After speaking with him on the phone I knew that Zac would help to make our special day absolutely perfect. He was extremely professional and certainly very knowledgeable when it came to providing the entertainment for our wedding. We had our ceremony at 4:30 directly followed by the cocktail hour then right after that was the ceremony and Zac moved seamlessly through 3 without any issues, and mind you these were all at separate locations on The Sagamore grounds. When it came to the reception he did an unbelievable job taking care of the introductions just how I wanted them and added his own flare to it making it truly unique. Then throughout the reception he made sure everything went to plan from the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances to the cake cutting and getting everyone on the dance floor. When it came time for everyone to dance he got everyone up on the dance floor and it stayed that way until the end. I had people comment on the fact that sometimes there wasn't even room on the dancefloor because we had so many people enjoying the entertainment. I highly recommend using DJ Zac Barr for your wedding and can guarantee you will have a fantastic time. We couldn't be happier that we found Zac and he truly helped to make our special day unique and simply perfect.

So much more than a DJ! (But a great one of those, too!)

Connecting with and choosing DJ Zac Barr for my wedding ranks among the top best decisions I made for the day (right up there among things like my choice of spouse). I found Zac based on his excellent reviews and in our very first conversation, I knew he was the one! It was as if we'd been friends for years and we were both so genuinely excited to have him be part of our day. I knew my husband-to-be would fall in love with him and (no surprises here!) he knew at his very first meeting with Zac that he agreed he was the guy for us. Now, on to what makes Zac the actual best...

Zac was absolutely instrumental in the planning process of our wedding. It was as if I had hired a coordinator on top of a DJ! One of my only regrets is not finding him months and months sooner. His attention to detail and commitment to the execution of a wonderful day was absolutely unparalleled. He's flexible, accommodating, considerate...I could use positive adjectives for days! When you meet Zac, he's so sweet and personable and puts you immediately at ease. Then, when he's behind the mic as your DJ, it's as if he has an alter ego who has shown up out of nowhere to suavely run the show and keep the party going. Perhaps most important of all, he has SO much experience! Coming from someone who was very much flying by the seat of her pants in planning her wedding, his expertise, advice, and assistance were completely invaluable. As the cherry on top of everything he had to offer, he was just so genuinely excited for us and happy to be a part of it all!

Could I have gotten married without DJ Zac Barr? Yes. Would the quality of my wedding have completely and utterly paled in comparison? Also yes. I would recommend him to anyone!

Above and Beyond

Zac and Susan went the extra mile to make sure we had the perfect day! Zac had no problem meeting with us multiple times to discuss ideas, wants, and needs. He was interactive with our guest and kept everyone on the dance floor. I could not say enough good things about him. Highly recommend DJ Zac Barr.

As soon as we met DJ Zac Barr,we could tell he understood what we wanted and from then on we did not worry about the music. He was at the reception site early and set up ready to go. He had everyone on the dance floor- and many people came up to me and asked about him and stating Zac was better than their DJ at their own wedding. We danced all night- we were very happy with DJ Zac Barr and I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!!

Look NO Further!!

My fiancé and I (somehow) were blessed with finding Zac online and let me tell you, we could not have been happier. Even though we had to reschedule due to COVID, he jumped right on our new bandwagon and was full of support and assurance that our new day would be just as special.

Zac’s pride comes from ensuring his couples have a personalized, fun, ‘them’ experience. Not many of my vendors are now a personal FB friend, but Zac is. This is a testament to how truly involved he is in caring for his couples and their special day. If you are looking for the ‘A’ team, look no further. The crowd loved the playlists, and he kept everyone dancing all night long!

He takes the time to chat sporadically with his couples to check in, offer support, confirm special extras, etc. which meant a lot considering we were out of state and relatively detached from our vendors. Zac made us feel well cared for and that our vision was a priority.

Honestly, if for some reason you book Zac and DONT have an incredible experience, I’m sorry to say it isn’t his fault. All he wants is for you to have an incredible day and will stop at nothing to make that happen.

Looking back, I couldn’t have imagined our day without Zac and team and I will be forever thankful to have stumbled upon him!!!

When we had contacted Zac it was an entire year before the wedding. I was just looking online when I happened to click on his website, and the website was so easy to understand and use. Our families aren't real big dancers and he had almost everyone up dancing the entire night. I would recommend his services to anyone.

My husband Brian and I were more than pleased with DJ Zac and his ability to customize our day. He was extremely flexible with his time and allowed us to take all the time we needed to perfect our day. The music selection was never ending!! He went above and beyond to make our day the most special he could. Definitely well worth it to hire a professional.. However it was even more with it to hire a professional like DJ Zac Barr. Zak was a great DJ and we were very happy to have him at our wedding! He spent a lot of prep time with us helping to make sure the night would be just what we wanted, and it really paid off. We would highly recommend him for a wedding or other event. We also really appreciated that he didn't put up a huge advertisement of his service at our wedding...something we've seen at 3 other weddings in the past 2 years. This may seem simple enough, but we think it's very tacky when done, especially at a wedding.

Zac is amazing!

We hired Zac after my husband's sister used him in her wedding two years ago. He is so much fun to work with, and is super responsive to emails/texts/comments/concerns. On the day of the wedding, he brought his son-in-law Gary with him and they were all set up when we arrived. The two were super professional throughout the event. The rest of the night went off so easily without a hitch because Zac was so well prepared. He played great music and constantly had the crowd up and dancing. We would highly recommend Zac to anyone looking for a great DJ!

DJ Zac is amazing. Not only is he your DJ for the event, but he truly provides so many more services beyond that and puts in many hours of work that you don’t see to help make your event great. For us, beyond being our wedding DJ, Zac provided sound reinforcement for our ceremony which included music for the bridal party to walk in and out to, mics for our officiant, for us as the bride and groom and for our reader. He also becomes your "day of coordinator" in a sense with the way he coordinates your timeline for the day and all your special moments of the day with all of your other vendors and keeps EVERYTHING on track for the whole night. He takes the time to get to know your other vendors, and even attended our rehearsal as he was helping with our ceremony to meet our bridal party and helped to reassure things wound go smoothly. Zac was a huge part of the planning process for me, his responsiveness was so important to me as far as answering all my questions and concerns timely. It alleviated a lot of stress for me as a bride to know he was involved in the planning process and available as needed. Zac was very accommodating as far as playing all requested songs; some of them my new husband asked for were not songs that would be commonly asked requested. Zac was happy to add them to his music library if he didn’t already have them! He was a huge help in coordinating our bridal party announcements into the reception to help poke a bit of fun at our attendants. I will say the best part of the night for me for the wedding beyond Zac's amazing service was he took a very sweet video of my 90 year old grandmother enjoying "her dance" of the evening. She was not feeling well enough the day of the wedding to walk down the aisle with the other grandparents so it meant a lot to me that he was able to capture that special moment, as well as a few other great photos. I would highly recommend using him for any event that you may need music for. Thanks again Zac!

DJ Zac Barr was awesome. He listened to all of our wants for our wedding day, and pulled of every one of our request. This included creating special request add on's to our songs ;ie- brides voice. He had everyone up and dancing the night away. He knew how to keep everyone happy and left everyone saying how wonderful he was. I can not emphasize how amazing Zac is. Not only as a DJ, but as a friend. My wife and I have four children between us. When it came time to plan out the final details of our wedding he could have said "alright find a babysitter and let's meet in my office" he insisted we grab a few happy meals for the kids and meet in the Play Place of all places! We talked around the children screaming and he didn't even bat an eye.
Our wedding venue was outside and of course right as the ceremony started it started to downpour. Again anyone else would have thrown a fit and worries about the equipment. Zac drove his van on the side of the ceremony- popped open the trunk and still delivered from the tailgate!
What I'm trying to say is when Zac says "let me worry about everything" he means it! I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have an amazing time. He's worth far more than he charges and he was the least stressful part of our planning.

Not only is DJ Zac Barr the best DJ ever! He is also my step-father. He made my wedding day perfect. He chose all the right music for everyone to dance too. I didn't have to worry about a thing! Step by step we planned the perfect night. Everything I wanted he did and helped me when I couldn't decide. He made the introductions hilarious and the reception a hit! Everyone was on the dance floor having a blast! I did all the traditional wedding things and he made it modern and fun! He is literally the best DJ around! I give him 5 stars not because he's family but because he made my wedding day perfect just like he'll do yours!

DJ Zac Barr did an amazing job being the DJ at our wedding! he was so helpful right from the start every question I had he answered no problem. He was so easy to get along with and very helpful and gave me great ideas that I never even thought of. We choose dj zac Barr as our dj for our wedding and he did not disappoint! He was so helpful through the whole process, he had amazing ideas and came up with a time line for the evening that was great! He kept my guests on the dance floor and laughing all night! Everyone raved about him! He had a planning form that helped me stay so organized! I would recommend him a thousand percent to anyone looking for a dj! You will not regret choosing him to be a part of your special day!!!

Zac wants you to be happy, not just for the four or five hours of your wedding, but he truly tries to make your music planning experience as painless, and even joyful as possible. He helped us trim our dance song so that we could cut out certain parts. he guided us with really good questions like, "tell me a few songs you don't like and i'll be able to gauge other songs you probably won't want me to play." when i told him that my family loves to do the Hora, he linked three different versions of the song so that the music never got old while people were bouncing one-another off of chairs.
Everyone likes to think that their wedding was the best that they've ever been to. When people are all blown away by how much time and fun they had on the dance floor, that's a pure indication that your reception was a huge success.
Everyone at my wedding danced. And that's the highest compliment I can give a DJ.
Zac is truly excellent, you work with him and everyone will dance at your wedding, too.

DJ Zac Barr was amazing to work with! He kept in touch via phone and email and was willing to help out with anything we needed--even if it wasn't related to music. He found all of the music we wanted and even made personal tracks so that our ceremony music would be perfectly timed. In fact, Zac came to our rehearsal just to be sure it would all work perfectly! He kept the crowd going all night and was great at getting people's attention for the various events throughout the evening. We had a huge age range at the reception and everyone was on the dance floor all night--from the 2 year olds to the 70 year olds. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and highly recommend him!

We were very pleased to have Zac Barr provide the DJ services for our wedding on August 3, 2012. We found recommendations for him on the wedding wire site and had an initial face to face meeting almost a year in advance of our big day. He was genuine and took the time to get to know us as a couple and to get a better understanding of our needs. He stayed in touch with us throughout and made the planning process simple. He provided a timeline of events for our big day that we were able to give to our wedding planner. Our celebration went off without a hitch, and Zac was very accommodating the day of. Our guests were pleased with his professionalism, song selection, and how the night unfolded. Without reservation, we highly recommend Zac Barr as he really takes the time to get to know you and make your wedding day special!

Dj Zac Barr was absolutely amazing! From the very first phone conversation, I knew we had found the best dj around. He was so much fun and did everything exactly how we wanted it. Zac made the night go so smoothly and got every single person in the room involved and having fun. He was even out on the dance floor to get us all stepping in the right direction for the electric slide and cupid shuffle! I CANNOT emphasize enough how truely amazing he really was! Zac Barr was very professional and personable. He made our evening unforgettable, not only for us but for our guests as well. Those who attended our event still talk about it and tell us how much they enjoyed our party. Many of them ask when we are going to do it again. We wanted to keep it small and intimate, inviting only close friends and family.Word spread quickly and many people asked us why they were not included in the guest list. Zac was amazing, he made our event the talk of the town!! We had one guest that was quite annoying but Zac remained friendly and patient with her.I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and have recommended his services to others.

DJ Zac Barr, what can I say about him that hasn't already been said? Seriously. He is as amazing as the reviews make him out to be and better.

When I started planning my ceremony I knew that I wanted something different, something fun, and totally Mike and I. Zac met with us the first time and immediately got what we were going for! When I said that I wanted, not 1 but 2 processional songs and then gave him everyone's entrance time (to the second no less), he was on it. When I told him that I wanted to have all my wedding party introduced to the Legend of Zelda medley, he made it awesome. And when I DEMANDED that "Hooked on a Feeling" play, he was all over that.

He had no problem buying Richard Cheese's entire catalog or more Disney love songs than he knew existed. He was almost as excited as we were at the cheesy raffle we decided to do that the 1130 hour. There is seriously nothing that this man can't do. He even helped me create a memorable Mother Son dance. Okay by helped me, I mean I gave him a vague idea and he created a beautiful moment.

At the end of the day it was his demeanor that truly put me at ease. Even when I called him to vent/warn him about another vendor he kept me calm and laughing. Also, he likes my dog. So. Winner. Truly, when I look back on my wedding I will remember the other man who helped make it fun and memorable.

I really can't thank you enough for being so amazing to me, Mike, my family and friends, and of course Zuul. You are the best at what you do, and what you do is amazing!

DJ Zac Barr was great. We were very nervous hiring a DJ that we had heard nothing about, and just found online, but all of the referrals we got were already booked. Zac met with us several times, got a feel for our style and went out of his way to get obscure ethnic music that we wanted at our wedding. He was a great MC for the event and made sure everything flowed and everyone had fun, without talking too much. He's great, and a great value for what he charges.

To put it simply, DJ Zac gets it. He's a seasoned veteran of the wedding industry and it shows. He'll take the time to get to know you and your families and ensure he does everything possible to make your day as perfect as possible. We are more that happy with DJ Zac and the entertainment he and Gary provided at my wedding on 9/22/2018. Not only did everyone at our wedding rave about the entertainment, DJ Zac took the time to customize our music the exact way we wanted. We had very unique music for our Dr Who themed wedding and he purchased specific music to meet our requests. He prepared for the event and was super accommodating. Not only is he professional, he’s warm, friendly, funny and fun! I can’t say enough great things about him and Gary. Everyone crowded the dance floor and basically danced the entire time. Our wedding from ceremony through the reception was 8 hours! My wedding success was directly related to DJ Zac and I highly recommend him. The best decision ever!

Zac performed for my outdoor wedding on 06/10/06 and did an excellent job. He met w/ me and my soon to be wife several times prior to the wedding to find out all aspects of the ceremony. I felt that he was very meticulous and well-organized, as well as taking care of listening to our specific needs for the event. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early, set up everything and played everything we wanted to hear. He did such a good job that I remember several of our wedding attendees asking who he was for future reference. Zac is tremendously professional and I would fully recommend him for any wedding.

We use Zac for our wedding the other weekend and we couldn't be happier with his service. A friend recommended him and when choosing the him I was happy to hear he was still excited about the little details that are important to you unlike many others who do so many weddings they don't seem to care about the little things. He kept our families up and moving the whole night and was helpful in choosing songs for the ceremony when I was having a little bit of trouble. I would also say he is extremely willing to work with your other vendors to make sure your event goes off with out a Hitch.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience working with Zac as the DJ for our wedding at Maple Shade Farm in September 2014 in Delhi, NY. We appreciate that Zac took the time to meet with us in-person while we were in Delhi months before doing wedding research (this meant a lot to us since we were doing a lot of the planning remotely from Brooklyn, NY and had limited time in the area). Zac showed great ability to work collaboratively with our wedding coordinator, other vendors, and the site itself. He was able to make our vision for the ceremony a reality by having the skill and equipment necessary to play our entrance song and also outfitting two of our friends with mics for a musical performance they did. We also had our first dances outside, which Zac was able to accommodate at the last minute- that was great because we didn’t have to sacrifice being outside in different locations or our vision for what we wanted because of any restriction of how far the speakers could reach, etc. Zac went above and beyond for us on the wedding day by helping with issues outside of DJing-- around the lighting of the venue (barn was darker than we thought at dinner) and helping with the cake cutting. I’m sure there was a lot behind the scenes that Zac was doing to make sure the flow was happening that we don’t even know about. Additionally, it was great to know that Zac let us pay for extra time at the end of the night for more music and dancing, since our timing got a little thrown off due to issues with the catering. Zac actually recommended this to us since he knew we were on a budget and wanted to make sure people still wanted to dance before we paid for a longer set. I’ll end by saying it was a pleasure to work with Zac. You can tell that he loves what he does and is a genuine, fun loving, and sincere person. Zac’s professionalism, experience, and flexibility were an asset to our wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about DJ Zac. I've worked with him before for my birthday party, but obviously a wedding requires a lot more moving parts. He was always willing to step up (when we decided our outdoor ceremony need a microphone for the Rabbi!) and I'm sure everyone had a wonderful time dancing at the reception. DJ Zac is always responsive to your emails (apparently I had the record at over 90 during our 18 months planning together!)

We chose Zac after seeing him in action at my father-in-law's birthday party. We knew without a doubt who we were going with when it came to our big day. He was professional right from the get-go, he sent me links to his VERY detailed timeline/music selection page. I was able to go in and fill out what song I wanted for which dance, but on top of that we still met in person and review everything we had discussed via e-mail, facebook, and his website. He truly wants to make your day special, and he is right on the ball when it comes to the details, which is amazing and appreciated. He was a true pleasure to work with, he's very kind and humble which makes you like him even more. We were so happy we went with him, and we look forward to using him for any/all future events!!!!!

DJ Zac Barr is the best! He is professional, but fun and funny at the same time. He is awesome and so easy to work with. His website made it easy to request songs as I thought of them, or heard them on the radio. For my wedding, I requested a song that he didn't have, but because of his website, I was able to let him know that I was requesting the song for my seven year old daughter. So he made sure that he had the song to play on our big day. It was also great when he didn't kill me for changing our wedding song a couple weeks before the wedding, and my father/daughter song only a few days before. He even saved the day when my father discovered that his rental tux was missing a tie... only hours before the wedding, and amazingly enough, the tie that Zac had matched my father's vest perfectly.
Zac is simply the best DJ. He will always do his best to make your day flawless.

DJ Zac Barr has donated his services to our Annual Gala for several years. He does an exceptional job of helping to promote this fundraiser in advance and encouraging others to participate. That night, he takes care of everything relating to sound and music. It is such a relief to not have to worry about it, and to be assured that it is being taken care of. He highlights auction items, encourages attendees to bid and support the school, and just makes sure that everyone is having a great time. Excellent DJ and, more importantly, a great guy.

From start to finish, DJ Zac Barr was amazing!!! He was true to his word, was extremely professional, accomodating & detail oriented. We met with other DJ's & Zac by far was the most impressive & sincere. He had a genuine interest in what we wanted & followed it exactly as planned. One of the most impressive aspects is that he was the one we met with in the beginning, spoke to throughout the six month planning period of the wedding to coordinate the event & he was the one who was there on our wedding day unlike other DJ services who contract people out, you don't know who you will get for the evening & you aren't able to develop a rapport with them. Words cannot express our gratitude! Our guests were so complimentary of his work. He didn't make himself the center of attention or act "cheesy" like some of the other services we considered who gave us the impression that they were the star of the event & that was a big turn off to us. Overall, we couldn't have asked for anything better than he delivered. We also planned this from out of town, met with him once & had a few phone conversations. We were so impressed & happy. Wedding was at 5pm & he was there at 1-ish to set up. The pride of ownership is evident which is why we chose him.

I wish I could get married twice

The phenomenal experience I had with Zac left me wishing I could get married all over again, just to spend more time with him. My wife will catch me staring wistfully at a wall and ask "you thinking about Zac?" Of course I'm thinking about Zac. Seriously, Zac is an amazing DJ and super reasonably priced too. Can confidently recommend him for any and all events.

Zac was amazing! From our first meeting to our wedding day, Zac was always there for us with advice and help planning. He had everyone on the dance floor from the begining until the last song. We had a few "unique" requests and Zac was right on them. He made our day even more special than we had anticipated. I would highly recommend him for any event. His professionalism and personality are #1!

Our dj cancelled last minute and we found dj zac online. He was extremely accommodating seeing as how our wedding was only 2 months away. He was great working with our payments and meeting up to discuss everything. He is very professional and really loves what he does. Everyone at our wedding was having a blast and complimented him. We would highly recommend him for any dj services! !

This DJ is the BEST EVER!!!!! We enjoyed working with him so much. The first time I called him, I was on the phone with him for about 20 minutes just chatting! We met a week later to make sure our personalities clicked with his. After that, we booked him and whenever I had a question or concern, I would email or call him and get a response right away! His online planning tool was so helpful and easy to use. It kept us organized and helped us decide things we definitely wanted. He was so great at the wedding...he had a timeline and caterer slowed us down, but Zac caught us up and made plenty of time for fun stuff! Everyone is still talking about him! You can't go wrong booking Zac Barr!

Zac Barr did a great job as the DJ at my daughter's wedding. He was very professional and responsive to the many, varied requests from guests. He was very organized and paid special attention to detail. The sound system and lighting were excellent. Guests of all ages enjoyed dancing all night long.

Nonstop dancing!

I'm not even sure where to begin... Zac and Gary were AMAZING! We planned a NY wedding from FL and Zac was instrumental in making sure everything went smoothly and that everyone had a great night! During planning he thought of details we would have otherwise forgotten and helped make great song choices that kept the entire wedding on the dance floor all night. He kept the night on schedule without us ever feeling rushed, and was even flexible enough to read a toast from one of our best friends who could not attend the wedding! He was one of the most organized, professional, and overall FUN vendors we had the pleasure of working with, we could not recommend him enough!

Kelly & Connor's Wedding 6/13/25

We can’t thank DJ Zac Barr and his assistant Susan, enough for making our wedding absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we started planning back in October, Zac was involved every step of the way and truly took the time to get to know both Connor and I. Their attention to detail, energy, and professionalism were unmatched. He took the time to meet with us on multiple different occasions, communicated with all of our vendors, and even took the time to tour our venue on his own.

On the big day, they managed everything flawlessly—keeping the night flowing smoothly, making sure all the special moments happened on time, and most importantly, keeping the dance floor packed all night long! Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had.

They were the perfect fit for our wedding, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team to help bring our celebration of love to life. Thank you for helping make our day so special and I would recommend DJ Zac Barr for anyone at their wedding!

5 Stars - The Best Wedding DJ You Could Ask For!

We are beyond thrilled with the incredible DJ we had for our wedding! From the moment we hired him, he went above and beyond in every way. Not only did he keep the party going all night with great music, but he also became the unsung hero of our big day. His ability to solve problems before they even became an issue was nothing short of amazing. He was on time, professional, and so incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire process.

What really stood out was his personality. He was funny, cheerful, and made everyone feel at ease. He wasn't just our DJ—he was like a wedding "godfather" that we didn't know we needed but were so lucky to have. From making sure every detail was covered to keeping us on track with timing, he really took the stress out of the day. He also helped smooth over any bumps along the way with such grace, always making sure we felt cared for and supported.

We never had to worry about anything related to music or timing—he was there for us with prompt responses and solutions whenever we needed them. He truly made us feel like we were in the best hands, and we couldn't have asked for a more caring and dedicated professional. If you're looking for someone who will not only keep the party rocking but also take care of the little things that matter, we highly recommend him!

Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was ranting and raving about the music!

We had a BLAST! Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was ranting and raving about the music! Zac did an amazing job and I don’t think I left the dance floor the entire night. My friends and family were all on the dance floor having a great time and kept telling us how amazing the DJ was and the music selection. We requested that only 50's and 60's music play, and Zac picked an awesome playlist for us.

He was very thorough and responsive throughout the entire planning process. He made sure everything went smoothly and you can definitely tell he knows what he's doing! I couldn't imagine having worked with any other DJ.

THANK YOU AGAIN ZAC FOR HELPING US HAVE A DAY WE WILL NEVER FORGET! YOU ROCK!

Since having a good DJ/Band is one of the most important parts of a wedding, it can be stressful making the decision as to who you will get. DJ Zac Barr was the perfect DJ! He was very flexible and did a great job keeping everyone entertained.
We are still hearing comments from our guests as to how "wonderful our DJ was". We originally were to end at 10:00PM but everyone was having such a good time (booze had a hand in it but Zac most certainly kept the party going) that he ended up staying until midnight.
Thanks again Zac for making our day that much more enjoyable and special. Would definitely recommend him for anyone's wedding!

Cannot speak more highly of Zac and his team as they DJ’d our wedding. We definitely did not make it easy when we chose a field in rural NY to bring everything in and throw together this wedding. Zac was more than up to the task, and executed to the best of our wishes! Zac is everything and anything you could need or want! Not only a practiced DJ, but he can MC, Plan and Network with the best of them. Both reasonably priced and responsive, Zac is your guy! Cannot speak more highly of his professionalism and skill. Zac was great...he got the crowd moving and was able to access songs others wouldn't have even thought of. Just a heads up...you may have a little homework for any of his events but it's worth the time and gives him some adaptability for whatever we can throw his way.

DJ Zac Barr was amazing! He was very pleasant to do business with and very reasonably priced. Zac met our needs perfectly. We used him for a high school graduation party so of course we had guests of all ages and he played music to make everyone happy and get our guests of all ages on the dance floor. I would highly recommend for any event and even plan on using his services again for a surprise party and any other event I need a DJ for!

Choosing a DJ was one of the hardest vedorss for us because most DJ's we contacted used scare tactics and told us how bad all other DJ's are in an attempt to get us to book them. Zac was different.

From the first time I contacted Zac he was incredibly responsive. I planned my wedding from 7 hours away and for that reason I wanted most of our communication to be via e-mail. Whenever I sent him an e-mail he ALWAYS got back to me in a timely manor with all of the information I needed and he answered every question I had along the way. As the wedding date got closer we spoke on the phone a few times and he helped me with some of the timeline and music choices which was great.

Zac was also really flexible which was nice. I decided last minute not to do the anniversary dance and he stripped it but still played the song we planned to use for it. I also had him make several unexpected announcements and give out wedding "awards". More importantly, there was a song on my "do-not-play" list that I changed my mind about and he quickly added it in exactly when I wanted it.

Zac was great to work with. He did so much more then just play music, he really helped make sure that the day went smoothly and he helped me make it special to all of my guests by making special announcements and playing the songs we wanted when we wanted them. THANK YOU ZAC BARR!

Zac did an absolute great job he had something for everyone even for my 4 year old daughter and my 3 year old nephew. He interacted with the crowd, incorporated everything that i had asked him to and made my wedding perfect! he was worth every penny spent! he is very cordial, organized, and an overall nice guy! i would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to anyone!

DJ Zac Barr provides exceptional service. He not only made the reception a night to remember, but before the wedding he was very professional and was available to us for all our planning needs. His online resources are outstanding. Also, he makes you feel like you are his only client and that your event is one of his top priorities. I would recommend him for anyone looking for an amazing DJ, and if I were to need a DJ for an event again I would absolutely go to him first, he was absolutely the best!

My original DJ became "unavailable" three months before my big day. Fortunately, DJ Zac Barr came through like the proverbial knight in shining armor. Not only did he immediately put my worries to rest, but his professionalism and experience made our night unforgettable. He made us feel like our wedding was the most important thing on his agenda. From his introductory questionnaire to the set-up and delivery, it is obvious Mr. Barr is the consummate professional. Not to worry if you aren't a detail oriented bride either! He even helped me select my father-daughter dance (which is now my Father's favorite song). He also took a few photos of my husband, daughter, and I that no other guest or photographer had taken...just because he saw the opportunity and cared enough to capture the moment. I couldn't imagine EVER hiring any one else to DJ any future event for my family. I work in sales and do lots of weddings. This is definitely a vendor that will have no competition on my vendor suggested list I give to all my brides.
