DJ West was AMAZING! From the time we started planning with him and dream team events, we knew he would be an amazing DJ! Dream Team Events lets you make your wedding playlist as specific as you want :) My husband and I got married about 3 months ago and our family still talks about how amazing the music was! 🤩 We recently got our wedding photos back and you can see that Wesley got EVERYONE dancing!!!😁 Best and easiest wedding planning decision that you will make :) -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Josh! From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive to every detail. He took the time to understand our music preferences, the overall vibe we wanted, and even helped us fine-tune the timeline to keep the night flowing perfectly.
During the wedding, Josh absolutely nailed it! The ceremony music was timed flawlessly, the transitions during cocktail hour and dinner were seamless, and the dance floor was packed all night long! He read the crowd perfectly and mixed songs in a way that kept everyone, from our grandparents to our college friends, having the best time.
Beyond his DJ skills, Josh’s energy and positive attitude made him such a joy to work with. We truly felt like he cared about making our night special and he did exactly that. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests saying it was the most fun dance floor they’ve ever been on!
If you’re looking for a DJ who is talented, organized, and genuinely passionate about making your event unforgettable, we can’t recommend Josh enough. He helped make our wedding an absolute dream! -

We used Dream Team Events for our wedding and would do it 1000 times over. Our DJ was DJ Josh and he is phenomenal! He went above and beyond and helped us create a song for our choreographed first dance. After the wedding, everyone kept commenting on how amazing our DJ was. The app the company uses leading up to the wedding makes everything move flawlessly! We said if we ever hosted a big event again, we would hire Josh! 100000/10 recommend!!! -

When my daughter said she wanted a two-plus-hour dance party at her wedding, I couldn’t imagine anyone staying on the dance floor for that long. DJ West thoughtfully curated the party of our dreams for our November wedding. From the time we started planning, we knew we wanted one thing: a *fun* reception with a full dance floor. DJ West delivered, beyond our wildest dreams.
He was communicative in the planning process, punctual and enthusiastic before the ceremony started, and a certified good time during our reception. DJ West worked the room, played all of our favorite songs, and responded so well to the crowd. We heard from so many guests after our wedding that he simply made the party, and we couldn't agree more. DJ West brought the house down (everyone left exhausted from dancing all night long)!
We are so thrilled he was part of our day, and we can't recommend Dream Team highly enough. -

Incredible
DJ West did an incredible job on my wedding in May of 2022. I was most nervous about my reception music because there was a mix of different people with different music tastes, but DJ West took the time to meet with my husband and I and go through our Spotify playlists to get a feel for the music we enjoyed most. He put together a playlist that had all of our guests dancing and having a good time! He was excellent at interacting with guests and teaching line dances! Our wedding would not have been the same without him I am so thankful He was our DJ! -

Professional, Organized, Amazing!
We’d highly recommend Dream Team Events! Everyone we worked with was very professional and polite. With their DJ service, they have an app that helps coordinate your wedding day timeline and playlist, and it makes a huge difference in the flow of events. They were very organized, and all of their services exceeded our expectations.
DJ Sonic did an amazing job and had everybody out on the dance floor! The monogram and the dancing on the cloud machine topped everything off and made it feel like we were in a fairytale. -

We couldn't be happier with our choice to have Dream Team Events provide both the DJ and photobooth services for our wedding. From start to finish, they were nothing short of amazing!
Firstly, the team was incredibly accommodating. They took the time to understand our vision and seamlessly incorporated all of our requests into the evening. Whether it was our specific song selections or the timing of the announcements, they handled everything with professionalism and a genuine desire to make our day perfect.
The DJ kept the dance floor packed all night long. The music was fantastic, catering to all ages and keeping the energy high from start to finish. They read the crowd perfectly and ensured that everyone had a great time.
The photobooth was a huge hit! Our guests had so much fun with the wide array of props, and the quality of the photos was excellent. It added an extra layer of entertainment and gave us wonderful keepsakes to look back on.

I would highly recommend Dream Team events to anyone looking for a professional event vendor. We partnered with them for our April 2024 wedding and have no regrets! They had a detailed consult with us to ensure they recommended the best party options and DJ. I loved the convenience of being able to add on different options (lighting, special effects, a photobooth with props), which made partnering with them really inclusive. We ended up only selecting their photo booth add-on, but appreciated the detailed touches (options for background, custom-designed graphic on photo strip, gallery of images sent by next business day). They also send a photobooth attendant, who was super sweet and handed me a prop to use as a fan when she noticed I stepped outside to cool off from dancing.
Based on our communicated vision, they partnered us with DJ Josh, who really went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect evening. Music selection, cultivating a vibe, a high-energy MCA, and ensuring a never-empty dance floor were my highest priority items and DJ Josh DELIVERED! He had multiple consults with me prior to the wedding, and sent us a custom cut of our first dance early enough to allow plenty of time for us to practice. He also took the time to get to know us and our music style so he could make sure what he played reflected us.
My absolute favorite part was how DJ Josh allowed my husband and I a brief private moment to have a last slow dance, just us, before our grand exit. I hadn't even factored this into our timeline, but so appreciated the thoughtful gesture and surprise coordination he made with our day of to make that happen. -

We had such a fun wedding reception in March thanks to DJ West at Dream Team Events. We are still hearing from guests who said they had an absolute blast dancing all night long. He came very highly recommended from our wedding planner and many of our wedding vendors and it was easy to see why. DJ West kept the music flowing so everyone wanted to stay on the dance floor -- from the youngest kids to the young at heart. He uses an app-based system that allowed us to select our music which made the process so easy and stress-free. We really enjoyed being able to pick the exact songs we wanted played during our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. If you're looking for a wonderfully talented DJ with a heart of gold, DJ West is your guy! -

We loved Dream Team Events!
DJ West isn’t called the best for no reason! We are so happy we decided to go with DJ West for our wedding ceremony & reception. His charisma, energy and attitude were excellent and definitely added an upbeat vibe to the entire day. We had heard great things about DJ West in the area, but once we had our consultation, that really solidified the deal. Dream Team Events is very professional and organized. We filled out inquiry forms and went through a detailed questionnaire to make sure DJ West had all the details he needed to make our special night one to remember. On top of that, we were able to input songs for each part of our wedding into an app that my wife and I could both control. It was such an easy and seamless process and took a lot of the weight off of our shoulders. On the day of, DJ West was very helpful and respectful throughout the whole day. Whenever we needed him, he was there! I highly recommend you work with DJ West if you’re looking for a DJ for your next event.
For our photo booth, we decided to work with Shina and her awesome business “A Party Booth”. This was such a great addition to the night! Our guests chose from a variety of different props and accessories, posed & had the pictures instantly sent to them via text. We also had printouts of each picture so guests could leave with a digital and physical memory. It was a great way for us to capture some fun, silly moments of the night with our best friends and family. Shina’s attitude and knowledge of the software really helped make the night go smooth. We still look back at all the pictures that were taken that night, priceless!!
If you couldn’t tell, we really enjoyed working with Dream Team Events and HIGHLY encourage you to do the same! -

We absolutely loved DJ Karizma!! His knowledge and expertise of music did not go unnoticed. He totally got my husband and I when we said we wanted a club vibe. He kept the dance floor packed all night long and gave us a night that no one will ever forget!! During our final meeting, he listened to my vision, gave advice, and helped craft the most perfect list of music for every aspect of our wedding! We are forever grateful for DJ Karizma and his team! Our guests are still saying it is the best wedding they have ever been to and the music selection was top notch!! If it is an option, I would also definitely recommend adding the 360 booth! It was such a fun thing for our guests to do, they are still talking about it! We absolutely loved it! The attendant was both knowledgeable and fun! Such a great experience!! -

Outstanding wedding dj
It was a true delight, honor and privilege to have DJ West at the helm for our wedding! From the beginning he gave us a great deal of time and attention, opening his schedule for meetings to chat, get to know us as individuals, learn about our lives and speak at great length about our vision.
His app was actually a really convenient feature to help visually lay out the entire evening from ceremony, to cocktail hour, through choreographed events throughout the evening, while being fully timestamped and customizable (including a “do not play list” which we did not take advantage of and clearly didn’t need as the vibe was perfectly curated following our suggestions and discussion).
Coming from restaurants and hospitality, I was quickly put at ease during our first discussions because I got a very quick sense that DJ West was in this business because he loves special moments and loves people. Throughout the entire evening, his warm spirit and gregarious energy proved my initial impressions to be very true. He felt like part of the celebrations and part of the family. Since our big day we had a number of our social groups comment about how perfect the playlists were for the evening and how relentless the good times were.
If you want a DJ to stick to your vision, keep the energy of your celebration moving, and that is in this business for the right reasons, you won’t be disappointed with DJ West and Dream Team Events.

Dream Team Events and DJ West were absolutely phenomenal! The communication was amazing and I loved the Vibo app which gave me the ability to pick my own songs for each part of my wedding reception and adjust the timeline to my needs and specifications. My wedding coordinator was also allowed access so everyone could be on the same page. The uplighting really uplifted the ambiance and I loved that I was able to have them all changed to green for when I gave my new hubby a Green Bay Packers surprise! ☺️ The Dancing on the clouds was magical for our first dance and the kids loved it too. DJ West was top notch and definitely brought our reception to the next level! We got so many compliments from our guests, including a few that had said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Thank you so much Dream Team Event and DJ West!! You all have given us memories for a lifetime!! -

DJ James and DJ West made everything so easy and we’re very patient with me. Using the Vibo app allowed me to mix and match my own playlist. I absolutely loved working with them. The uplighting and photobooth were on point and brought the room together just beautifully. The Gobo was beyond beautiful. I got so many compliments on it and the photobooth all night. We are SO glad we chose DJ West and Dream Team Events for our wedding! They were so amazing from start to finish as far as getting to know us, our guests, and our reception party preferences. One of our requests due to our faith and wanting to respect all guests was that there wouldn't be explicit or profane music at the reception. Not only did DJ West honor that perfectly, but he also added in clean versions of popular dance floor songs. We LOVED that!
Music was a high priority for me in the wedding, so the fact that Dream Team uses the Vibo app was amazing: it lets you import Spotify playlists, give notes on certain songs, etc.! I chose almost every song that was played at the cocktail hour and reception, and the ones I didn't select were either requests or DJ West's picks that he seamlessly weaved into the playlists depending on the crowd's vibe. He really, really knows music and what will hype people up! Our guests kept telling us throughout the night and after the wedding that they really enjoyed themselves because of him. One friend even asked for Dream Team's contact info because she and her fiancé want to look into having him at their wedding!
Dream Team also supplied mics for our ceremony and uplighting for our reception venue. The uplighting especially helped set the mood!
We can't say enough good things about DJ West. He was amazing in every sense! -

Amazing! Dj West was the best decision we could have made to keep our reception running smoothly and make it a party. He pronounced everyone's name correctly, played the right songs at the right time and just is a natural on the mic. We had DJ West from Dream Team Events for our wedding. He was absolutely spectacular! He was on premise with plenty of time to set up and he was awesome all night long!! There was no lack of enthusiasm at all. He even played a game with our guests when everyone first sat down to dinner that kept everyone engaged. So fun! We LOVED Dream Team Events for our wedding and would recommend them over and over again. Ahhh where do I start? So for me my wedding dream had 3 tops : Music, Food, and Photos. He delivered beyond my expectations and I’m really siting here thinking of when I can book him again for my next event lol

Best DJ Ever
DJ West and his team were perfect from the planning all the way to the last song of the wedding night. Everything was so organized and flowed phenomenally. The setup and lights were awesome. Our photographer had to use her extra wide lens to capture everyone on the dance floor as it was packed! He got our vibe perfectly and the music choices were spot on. Incredible, Culturally Inclusive DJ!
DJ West and his team are amazing!! Their pricing is excellent, and I was thoroughly impressed by the team's professionalism. His wife, Shina, reached out to us before the big day to do a thorough walkthrough of what to expect during the reception, and they gave us access to a music selection tool that helped us plan what we wanted throughout the entire event. I probably picked out 50% of the music, the rest was curated and mixed by DJ West, who did a phenomenal job! Our wedding was multicultural, and he was incredible in making everybody feel included and playing the best music. I still remember how excited I felt when he started playing for cocktail hour and my husband and I were off to the side getting our photos taken - the DJ got everybody excited and ready for the dance floor!
We were supposed to get married on the beach and have our reception out in the back of our beach house but it started pouring rain, and DJ West was able to accommodate with ease and set up in the living room - it ended up working out perfectly!
At the end of the night, everybody left and he played one last song for just my husband and I to dance to - when Shina told us about this last dance song I thought it would be awkward, but it has ended up being one of the most precious memories of my wedding day, my husband and I dancing just the two of us (during the song the DJ disappeared, it really was just us two and it was magical!) -

My friend helped me find vendors for our wedding on 7/17/2022 at the Tidewater Inn in Easton MD. I have to say her connecting us to Dream Team Events was one of the best things she did for us! DJ West and Shina really brought the party to our wedding. The music was seamless and everything we wanted for our big day. Please don't skip out on the photobooth either because it kept the guests entertained when they weren't on the dance floor! The lighting they provided was also a perfect touch to an already amazing venue. DJ West was sure to plan periodic check ins with us over Facetime to make sure everything was planned perfectly and there were no surprises. The whole process was very customizable and easy! It was literally like Facetiming a friend every time. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about Dream Team Events and I will definitely recommend them to everyone that asks me who they should use in the future! -

DJ West's energy, attentiveness, and personality were more than perfect for our wedding. We had a lot of music selection and special moment details (multiple spreadsheets worth); he listened to what we wanted and executed them with excitement and with what appeared to be ease (although we know there was nothing easy about it). DJ West provided an awesome MC and Music experience for our guests. The dance floor remained occupied all night long. They did not want to leave (literally they stayed till the venue was removing the dance floor and so did DJ West :) ). We received multiple "this was the best wedding." DJ West's energy and he and Shina's professionalism is unmatched. We are so happy with our investment and decision. P.s. Dj West and Shina were amazing. I was so nervous because our wedding was multicultural. Where infusing music from three different countries seemed either impossible or a complete failure.
Dj West killed it!!
He set the most amazing vibes for our wedding, where everyone was able to have fun and enjoy themselves. The music mix was so awesome everyone got out of their seats. The photo booth set up by Shina was so much fun and the quality of the photos were absolutely fantastic.
This is one dynamic duo, wouldn’t have traded them for anyone else.

I could never speak highly enough about DJ West!!! He and Shina go above and beyond in the months leading up to your wedding to truly understand you as a couple and your vision for your wedding day. Let me tell you, it is evident in the way the day runs. Everything was legitimate perfection. When you're planning a wedding, there is nothing better than a husband and wife duo! They are the dream team and we loved working with each of them! DJ WEST energy radiated through the phone during our first conversation. He paid attention to details and gave great ideas to make our vision even better. During the reception music selections were changed and he transitioned smoothly. His will to accommodate is worthy of 5 stars alone. The app to addd our songs for every phase of our special day was amazing!!! The venue was amazing but when DJ WEST added those lights that radiated up the wall made the venue more extravagant!! Our guest spoke highly of how he kept the dance floor packed and his energy had people dancing who had not danced in years. We were so happy with DJ West's services. He and his wife, Shina, were great about communicating with us before our wedding. We had multiple meetings leading up to our wedding day. It was great to be able to communicate what we wanted beforehand and allowed us to get to know each other before the wedding! They utilized a user-friendly app that let us select all of our music beforehand and add relevant notes. DJ West did an amazing job reading the crowd and getting them engaged on the dance floor. His MC services also really helped keep the day on schedule and make everyone aware of what was going on. We also contracted for a photo booth - which was a huge hit! Shina coordinated with us to create a template that matched our wedding colors and theme. We loved how quickly we received the digital copies of the photos. Overall, we had an amazing experience with DJ West and Shina. DJ West and his wife Shina are the most down to earth people I have ever met. They have been there with us since day one helping us with whatever we needed. They reached out to us and FaceTimed us multiple times to help us with anything we could think of, even if it was just to vent about wedding stress. They went above and beyond for our wedding day. DJ West had the dance floor alive ALL night long, no one wanted to leave. Two weeks after the wedding and I’m still having people tell me how amazing he was. Westley and his wife Shina were amazing throughout our entire process. We were planning our Virginia wedding from Germany which made speaking with vendors difficult. They made sure to video call us when the timing worked for our schedule even with the time difference. When COVID happened and we had to cancel our original date they were the first vendors who reached out and switched from email to instant messaging as soon as they heard about the change to make sure we came up with a solution ASAP. There was a great selection of music played throughout the entire day and the reception was a party because of the mood they set. Amazing Wedding Experience in Baltimore
Hands down, A-MAZ-ING! DJ West is absolutely amazing! It was really important for my husband and I to have a fun reception with hits that everybody could enjoy. West took the details from our first meeting and EXECUTED. Music was great, intros and announcements were on point, and he even got on the dance floor to interact with the crowd! Not only did he play great music and the artists that we asked for, he also read the crowd and knew the exact moments to play certain songs. Needless to say the dance floor was packed the entire night. West and his wife are super professional, very detailed, and easy to work with. They also worked seamlessly with our vendor team to make everything align perfectly. Family and friends are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding! DJ West made our night perfect. DJ West did my daughter's wedding this weekend and he ROCKED! I knew he would for several reasons: first one is because my daughter (who we lovingly call "Stalker Amy") ALWAYS does her homework and she was confident in his abilities and second: the moment I saw him at the chapel with that beautiful smile I was confident and third: At the reception is where he truly shines - the way he welcomed everyone, did a few "get to know your table member" games, brought the crowd in, he played the mellower songs during the time people were eating so that people can still hear each other at the table and then rock out afterwards getting everyone up on the dance floor! I think I only left the dance floor twice the entire night to get a soda and immediately came right back out on that floor! Thank you DJ West for being a major part of everyone having a great time! I totally recommend DJ West - he will listen to what YOU want your wedding to be and not just a "cookie cutter" list of songs. You will not be sorry for choosing this DJ!! -

DJ West was fantastic to work with for our wedding ceremony and reception! We enjoyed all of the communication with him and his wife, Shina before the event and they were awesome in helping us work out some details of our music and even the timeline of our reception that we weren't sure about. They offered great advice from their experience but still let us plan our day how WE wanted it. DJ West had no problem setting up a bit earlier at our venue in order to have music for our first look (2 hours before our ceremony started) and stayed high-energy all the way through until closing time. He was an AWESOME emcee, even when we had a non-traditional timeline of events in our reception. He made it out on the dance floor with us multiple times, which we loved! Guests asked me for his name all night long and are continuing to do so because they loved his energy so much! One of my personal biggest fears during our 16-month wedding planning process was having a dull dance floor and hiring DJ West was the smartest move I made. Hoping I can come up with some reason to need a DJ again in the near future! Thank you, West!!! -

DJ West is absolutely AMAZING!! He is worth every penny!! He DJ’d at our wedding recently (December 2018) at the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth. Wes and his crew were **phenomenal** to work with. Wes is very flexible and determined to give you everything you ask for, with an extra friendly bonus that you may not have thought about during your wedding ceremony; such as games, contests, toasts, photography, and much more from his experience as an MC and DJ. From beginning to end, fantastic experience. I was blown away with the detail provided in his customer portal. Here, we listed endless song requests, a timeline with any and all details we wished for, and moments during our reception that we may have requested for a certain song to be played at a particular moment. He made the crowd really enjoy themselves by encouraging them to let loose and have fun, while respecting those who wished to sit and watch. We chose DJ Wes because we had 3 other couples recommend him to us. My sister is the next friend to have him in her wedding and we are so excited to celebrate with Wes again! Aside from being a wedding DJ, Wes gives back to the community by sharing his time with local schools to provide school systems with a trust worthy, responsible, respectable, and of course- fun DJ to host school sponsored events. DJ West is not just an amazing DJ but him and his wife are just literally amazing people! My husband and I met with him and his wife and we were in awe of how much they really aimed to understand not only our love story but our thoughts behind the intimacy of our wedding and reception. I remember leaving our planning meeting feeling completely at ease and excited for him to handle our day! We sent him some Do Not Play songs and made him a playlist of our faves (including soca- my husband is west indian) and he made this bomb playlist that had us all sweating and laughing all night! We were so concerned that with such a mixed age group that we did not know what to play, but he got all our guests involved in games and the reception that people told us later they had never experienced it at a wedding before!
Not only that- we were shown that not only is he a creative and talented DJ but he really MEANS it when he says he is here for your wedding day and to serve you in excellence. Our pastor coming from Norfolk, VA to Williamsburg (an hour drive if you don't know) was late due to traffic up and down the interstate. Only for him to come and not have our communion for our ceremony. Unbeknownst to me- I watched DJ West from my limo literally SPRINT out our venue and to his car and take off driving (15 min after our ceremony was supposed to start) later I was told that he ran to the store and got things for our communion so our ceremony could be complete! He never said- "that's not my job" or "they didn't pay me for that" he just jumped in and served. THAT is the kind of vendor you want for your day! -

I learned about DJ west through my sister who got married in September. She had DJ west at her wedding. After learning about him I wrote him and wanted to have him for my wedding as well. He was able to work with my budget and still have everything I wanted and needed. During my sister wedding he was so active with the crowd. Amazing guy!
So we hired DJ West even though we are 3 hours away from him. He not only drove that distance but he was also prompt and followed through perfectly. We got so many compliments on how fun the wedding was and how good at his job he was, he was probably the highlight of our wedding. He gets on the dance floor with you and can sing too! He also knows how to read the crowd and plays a good mix of music based on what he thinks will get people up and dancing. His online portal was super easy to use and we had a lot of fun picking songs we wanted played, too. Overall I just think there are main points to get right for a good wedding: good food, good atmosphere, and good music, and he definitely provides the last two. I highly recommend DJ West!! -

Would I recommend DJ West? what a question, a thousand times YES! he is the best DJ in NOVA. He was amazing during our wedding, he got everyone laughing with the shoe game and the ice breaker.
