Best dj ever!

DJ V is the best you can get. No matter your venue, style or type, DJ V is going to deliver. He took time to prepare the venue, space, attire, vibe, etc. and then asked us how we’d like to form around it all. I literally cannot put into words how happy we were with DJ Vs services.

We LOVE Vinnie!!!

Vinnie came from CT to come DJ our wedding. He came highly recommended from a close friend and she was right! He was so easy to work with when we would jump on our calls to discuss music and the reception entrances. Vinnie supplied mics for our ceremony and he was also the savior of the day because when the venue forgot to shut off the house music for my walk down the aisle with my dad (we had live music for ceremony) he quickly made his ay to the MD and told him to shut it off that I didnt even know this happened until my sister told me after the fact. Vinnie is now considered a friend and we will keep him in mind for future parties and suggestions to friends! Thank you for everything Vinnie!!!

DJ Vin is the best, he'll make your wedding day amazing!

DJ Vin absolutely made my wedding day amazing. All of the phone calls and prep before the month of the wedding was super helpful and put both my fiance and me at ease as we planned the music and order of events. He answered all of our crazy questions and offered suggestions when asked.
On the day of the wedding, we had to make a critical last-minute change and he took it completely in stride without missing a beat. He handled the events perfectly and added in the perfect amount of MC-ing without stealing the show. His music selection was amazing and kept the party going all night. He played a mix of songs we requested and others that fit right in with the vibe we were going for.
You will not regret picking DJ Vin for your wedding one bit, he's the man.

Best DJ in CT

DJ Vin was an awesome DJ for our wedding! It was so easy to work with him on our playlist and day-of schedule. We knew we were in good hands right from the beginning and everything went perfectly. We had an amazing day and we know our guests had a blast as the dance floor was packed all night long!!

I Hated Wedding Deejays

Seriously, I had seen enough of them with the corny announcer voices, props, disco lighting, and terrible music to know that I didn't want one anywhere near our wedding. So much so that I somehow convinced my then fiancee that we would be able to organize music into playlists which would sound totally fine being played off a phone or laptop. But as our wedding day approached, we realized that we didn't have the time or ability to organize and coordinate everything involved. Luckily we found Vinnie and after talking to him I felt reassured that he wasn't the run of the mill wedding deejay. He stepped up for us on fairly short notice. We gave him an idea of what kind of music we wanted during each portion of the wedding and told him what we didn't want to hear (choreographed dances, random guest requests, etc.) and he took it from there.

Everything was perfect, from the ceremony music and sound, to the cocktail hour playlist, to the announcements and first dances, Vinnie was spot on . And the dance party was exactly what we had envisioned with most of our guests dancing with us for three straight hours.

I'm not sure what else to say about Vinnie. He was punctual, organized, professional, and super chill to work with. We loved him, our guests loved him, even our caterer loved him (they emailed us after the wedding to ask about him).

I never thought I would say this but thank god we had a wedding deejay and more importantly, thank god it was DJ Vin.

Vin is the best

The dance floor was packed, and so many people complimented me on the music. My bridesmaid said it was the best music she’d heard at a wedding and even weeks later I got a text from a friend asking for a playlist of what was played during dinner.

Vin reads the crowd, has a great energy and loves what he does. He felt like one of the guests. My mom was adamant there be songs that the older crowd could dance to and he so seamlessly went from Earth, wind and fire to Drake that all ages stayed on the dance floor the entire night.

Most importantly, he has great taste in music and suggestions for whatever vibe you’re going for. I had no idea what to play during the ceremony and he suggested a band that does a lot of modern song covers and people were raving about it. The best compliment I got was that the music was so intentional and really made you feel the emotion of the ceremony. And then of course later on the fact that everyone was literally going crazy on the dance floor spoke for itself. It was perfect start to finish.

Absolutely amazing!

If you're planning a wedding...or any type of party & still looking for a DJ, stop right now...you have found the one!! While getting my hair done one day, I was asked, "Do you have a DJ yet?" My response, "Nope! You know I have nothing done, but I should really get on it". Turns out, my hairstylist's brother is Vinnie. During our first conversation, I asked him to DJ our wedding....BEST DECISION EVER. Leading up to the wedding, Vinnie checked in and answered all questions we had. Right before the wedding, we spoke on the phone as he was looking over our "must play" list and he says, "Okay, I understand what you're going for". Fast forward to October 26th 2018. Vinnie's words couldn't have been more on point. Danny and I have extremely different tastes in music, but one thing we wanted was a dance party. A dance party was what we got! I literally danced the night away at my wedding and so did our guests. Not one song that came on, did anyone say, "you can't really dance to this." Vinnie listened to what we wanted and used his talent to create exactly what we wanted. "Dana, where did you find the DJ?" "This DJ is sooooo good!!" "I can't believe the songs he's mixing into each other!" A little more than a month and we still have compliments about the music at our wedding and my legs have finally recovered from dancing. If you are looking for someone that knows music, that asks questions about what you want, and actually listens to your requests for your night...hire Vinnie. If you want a nonstop dance party at your wedding...hire Vinnie. But most importantly, if you want a genuinely down to earth, humble, attentive, and friendly guy that is not going to cause you any stress during your wedding planning...hire Vinnie. Our wedding wouldn't have been what is was without the music by Vinnie!!!!

Great dj!

Vin was great. I received many compliments after the wedding on how great the music was, and he was very on point with all of my other requests. Highly recommend this guy if you need a good DJ with a Music Library that has a wide variety of different genres.

We had a wonderful experience with DJ Vin!
Prior to the event, he worked very hard to get to know us and what was important to us on our wedding day (and in general). He asked good questions and really got us talking.
Our venue had some specific hookup requirements and he made himself available to the event planner there if needed.
The day of the event, everything went off without a hitch. Music was everywhere it was needed and we didn't have to think about it at all. He played all our favorite songs!
Vinnie has great taste in music and really understood what we were looking for. He did a great job of playing music that kept everyone dancing until the very end.
I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ!

Vin DJed our July wedding and he absolutely killed it. From the first conversation we had to the final song of the big day, he was the perfect master of ceremonies. When we explained the type of music we were looking for, Vin instantly knew the vibe we were looking for and perfectly executed it throughout the night. You never really know what to expect when choosing your vendors if you haven't seen their work before and Vin did not disappoint.
Outside of the music and communications, you need a DJ that is going to keep all of the important events on schedule and has a good personality and understands your wants when introducing people. Vin was very open to whatever we wanted whether it was be more laid back and behind the scenes or out on the dance floor dancing with Grandma. He was the perfect emcee, introducing the whole wedding party and keeping people hyped to be on the dance floor.
If you're looking for a DJ who is responsive, professional, flexible, and great at keeping the party going, then this is your man. I can't think of anything else we would have looked for in a DJ. You'll be happy you chose him.

Our wedding could NOT have been any better. Everyone was dancing all night long, it was such a fun party thanks to DJ Vin! Loved the music selection and the perfect amount of MC'ing, and was very easy to work with! BEST. DJ. EVER!!!!

Vinnie is a fantastic DJ who provided the music for our wedding in September of 2017. He did a phenomenal job providing entertainment and emceeing the event. We received unanimously positive feedback from our guests who's ages spanned from teenagers to 90+. He was also very helpful in the weeks before the wedding, taking notes from us on our musical tastes and planning out the reception timeline. We highly recommend him.

DJ Vin was fantastic to work with. We had planned a relatively informal reception and he worked closely with us to make sure the reception ran smoothly without being overly formal. He had great recommendations and suggestions as we closed in on the day and played a PERFECT mix of songs! Many guests asked us about Vinnie after the wedding. DJ Vin provided exceptional DJ and MC service for our wedding at The Metropolitan Building in Long Island City, NY this past August. We cannot say enough how happy we were with DJ Vin's work and HIGHLY RECOMMEND him and here's why:
- Responsiveness and professionalism: With any wedding, people remember 3 things: The food, music, and alcohol, and how great or terrible it is, so we decided to spend the most $ on these areas. Right from the start over 6-months before, DJ Vin was very responsive, courteous and answered any questions we had, and had several email/phone exchanges and even met in person beforehand to put a face with a name. He made us feel immediately at ease, and was very forthright about what he could or couldn't do, his experience and his costs. The most impressive thing that I can say, is that DJ Vin has a day job, and he does this as a passion, so you know you're going to get someone who loves his work and will not cut any corners.
- Expertise: Not only was Vin responsible for the music, but he worked with our coordinator to make sure the officiant and string quartet had proper mics, and he even went above and beyond to help our wedding coordinator figure out how the wedding party should navigate the tricky floorpan for the processional/recessional.
- The Music: Vin has a TON of music, and if he doesn't have it, he'll find it. This was the case with our special request for some Vietnamese folk music for our families to dance to. Furthermore, we didn't want a radio station DJ, and Vin absolutely killed it with a mix of dance, pop, hip hop, 80's, 90's, oldies, Motown, and slow music. People literally would not leave the dance floor, as DJ Vin kept the party going from 5:30 to 12. That's right - over 6 straight hours. People kept telling us how amazing the music and party was, which is a testament to Vin's expertise and service.
- MC'ing: This is often overlooked, but Vin is a great MC, too - great voice & elocution, and he commands a presence.

We hired Vinnie for our November 12th 2016 wedding. We was professional, flexible and very understanding when it came to our music choices. He always got back to our emails and phone calls in a timely manner. If he wasn't able to talk immediately, he gave us a timeline and kept to his word. During our reception, he read the crowd on the dance floor and played music that had the majority of our guests on their feet for the whole night! He also went above and beyond helping to pass out glow sticks on the dance floor, assisting our guests in line dance moves and communicating to our guests what to expect and when. Vinnie is 100% worth the money and I would strongly encourage you to hire him!!

Vinnie was an amazing DJ for our May wedding this year! He was my sisters DJ last September and I knew then I was going to hire him. He is extremely professional, easy to get in touch with, very accommodating and most importantly a great DJ. Our guests were on the dance floor all night having a great time, he knew how to get the party started, sound quality was great, and we heard all the songs we had requested. My wife and I were referred to DJ Vin for our wedding by someone who my wife works with. He was great from the get go... we had a Skype consultation (we all had conflicting schedules but he was more than happy to meet in person too) where we discussed the wedding theme, songs we wanted played & ones we wanted to avoid!! Vinnie was great when working with our other vendors too, he's a nice guy, true to his words and did a great job the day of our wedding. Professional in his appearance and his equipment was fitting to the great service he provided. I'd highly recommend DJ Vin to other looking for DJ for any event.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to use DJ Vin for our wedding this past June. He was professional, accommodating, responsive, organized and couldn't have been any nicer. We had a DIY wedding at the horse farm where I work so we did not have a wedding planner. Vinnie stepped up and pretty much made sure the entire wedding stayed on schedule and flowed smoothly. He was great w/announcements and kept the party going with everyone dancing way past the time we had scheduled him for. All of my guests continue to tell me we had the best DJ ever. My husband and I wholeheartedly agree!!!

DJ Vin made our reception the best party we could have imagined! The music selection kept people on the floor, and was a great fit for the audience. Lots of dancing! Vin was incredibly easy to work with - flexible, nice, and responsive. He kept true to the Do Not Play list, and we even caved on that when he asked permission to play a request from a guest. His courtesy and fun personality really made the night so enjoyable. His prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of fun you will have!

We hired DJVin to DJ/MC our wedding in September. We found him very easy to work with and appreciated his interest in getting to know both of us so that he could tailor the music played during the ceremony and reception according to our preferences. The questionnaire he asked us to fill out was a painless and transparent way to ensure that introductions were flawless, the genres and songs we liked were played, and the genres and songs we didn't like were not. Even when we weren't sure what songs/music we wanted playing prior to the ceremony and during cocktail hour, his experience and knowledge allowed him to provide us with great suggestions and ultimately deliver a wonderful event. Accordingly, for those who wish to be completely hands off and not worry about music selection, DJVin seems more than capable of taking the reigns completely. Overall it was a wonderful evening and we would certainly recommend DJVin to anyone - those that want to be intimately involved in the music selection, as well as those who would rather be hands off.

DJ Vin was a pleasure to work with. His passion for music made planning this part of the wedding so much fun. He was willing to work with us on our music and make suggestions. Our guests loved all of our music and spent the night dancing. The up lighting offered really added to the feel of the night and we loved our Monogram. Many people complimented both. Vinnie is very professional and organized. He worked out an agenda with us for the flow of the night and did a great job adhering to it. This is important, he is more than a DJ, he is also a great Master of Ceremony.

Vinnie was absolutely amazing. We couldn't ever find the time to make our schedules work to meet in person so Vinnie met with us via video chat. He was always offering suggestions, helping guide me to make my wedding more personal. He always responded promptly and most importantly listened to our ideas of how we wanted our wedding to go. How he implemented our broad taste in music I will never know, we love everything from country to Michael Jackson to Billy Joel to UB40. He had such an inviting personality, we have already recommended him to many of our attendees that are getting married in the future! He even asked me the attire of our wedding so he wouldn't be underdressed. He went above and beyond to make us happy, we never felt that he was "working" for us or that we were just another paying client. We felt like we had been friends for years. We wanted to have a band originally, but due to our budget that wasn't possible. He exceeded our expectations and I couldn't even picture having a band do a better job then vinnie did!

I can not thank Vinnie enough for such an amazing wedding! He was so kind and caring during the whole wedding process and was always there to answer questions. DJ Vin was extremely professional, working with us along the way to understand our needs, preferences and prioritizing every detail from the event setting, to the mood, music selection and theme.

Throughout the process, he reached out periodically to provide progress and obtain feedback. He overtly expressed a desire to understand key moments to prioritize during the event, pronunciation of family members and fully delivered on how we as a couple wanted the night to turn out.

DJ Vin did an incredible job! He arrived with more than enough time to set up. The variety of music was ideal for my corporate event and he was extremely professional. Everyone was impressed with his skills and had a wonderful time listening to the music!

Vinnie was an amazing DJ. We first got to know his work at another friend's wedding and knew then that we wanted him for ours.
He was really easy to work with in the days and weeks leading up to the day.
He did everything we would expect / want him to do without us really having to give him much instruction.
The music he played was great, and he even managed to get the non-dancers in the crowd up and dancing (for a few songs at least).
I would absolutely recommend his work and wouldn't hesitate to use him again in the future!

THANK YOU a million times over! From beginning to end you two were absolutely amazing!!! I really cannot say enough good things about you guys. Your true professionalism, vast musical knowledge and extreme passion for music was definitely apparent. Both of you were exceptionally accommodating with all of our requests and went above and beyond to make Billy and I happy. Most of all you made Billy (who hates being the center of attention) comfortable with doing all of the “firsts” a newly married couple has to do in front of our guests. All I wanted was for him to have fun and have no worries and you guys definitely made that happen effortlessly. The entire dance floor was packed all night long. Our guests are still talking about the music and what an amazing job you guys did reading the crowd! The up lighting you added in the mansion made it look even more beautiful than I could ever imagine, what an awesome touch! We are so happy you two were a part of your day, thank you for making it so special! I can honestly say we had the best night of our lives, I wish it didn’t have to end!

Vinnie was extremely professional, friendly and fun! He was so easy to work with and respected our wishes with our Do Not Play list. He played to the crowd the entire night! What can I say except that without Vinnie our wedding would not have been half as amazing as it was. Vinnie was reliable and helpful from the moment we contacted him and more than delivered on the day of. Our entire dance floor was filled from the moment our reception started until the reception was over. All of our guests said it was the best wedding that they had ever attended and much of that is in part to Vinnie- he kept the flow going and every single song he played was perfect!! I promise that if you choose Vinnie it will be one of the best decisions you make for your party!!

100% satisfied with the services provided. DJVin delivered an awesome party to a large multicultural group. From the cocktail hour until the the end of the night, every guest was entertained by his music selection and the ambiance he had set. He was very professional and was very supportive throughout the planning including recommendations and staying true to our style and personality. He worked closely with the coordinator too to ensure a seamless night and it was! The night was executed flawlessly. DJVin is very talented and I couldn't be happier to have had him at our wedding :)

Vinnie was an amazing DJ. He included all the songs we asked for and we trusted him to switch song genres for a seamless evening - he is very talented and did exactly that. Everyone had a wonderful time, commented on how great the music was and most people danced! He was able to create a classy, warm atmosphere for the cocktail hour and dinner and then got people moving to fast and slow songs (because they wanted to dance - not because anything was coerced or forced). I am so thankful we found Vinnie to DJ our wedding!

Vinnie and Pete were wonderful! We had so many people come up to us at the end of the night saying this was the best wedding they'd been to. DJ Vin had our guests dancing ALL NIGHT. There was rarely a time when you'd look back at the tables and see people sitting, it was exactly what we wanted for our reception! My younger sister who is probably 5 + years from getting married said she wants to use Vinnie and Pete at her wedding!

Vinnie was such a pleasure to work with and worked with us to make the party perfect. He was patient with my MANY demands as a Type-A bride and took the time to explain things to me when necessary. We loved him from the moment we met him!

DJ Vin was awesome! He totally read the crowd and kept us dancing all night! Before the wedding I had asked that there be no announcements, but when I realized I did need him to make a couple he had no problem doing it for me. He was very thorough in his prep work for us- we gave him a lot of music that we were into and he managed to work 90s hip hop in with oldies and disco seamlessly! Then he ended the night with the absolute perfect song! He was very easy to talk to and all of my guests had an amazing time!

Dj Vin and his staff were perfect! Dj Vin was professional, accommodating and prompt throughout the whole process. He was super responsive with everything from contract amendments to meeting requests to song preferences. I am not exaggerating when I tell you people were dancing from the beginning to the end of the night NON-STOP. They helped created a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Their read on the crowd and what everyone wanted to hear was spot on. Dj Vin was also perfectly precise with keeping the nights events moving with out a hiccup. It allowed for so much less worry and stress for my bride and myself. Anyone I've talked to about the wedding eventually mentions how great the Dj and music were. Hiring Vinnie for our wedding was the best thing we did. As most brides would know when you are planning a wedding you are nervous about every step you take and every vendor you hire. With Vinnie it was much different. He was responsive and he made me feel so comfortable from the first meeting we had. He made everything so easy and the music was the only thing I didn't have to worry about. Every guest was on the dance floor all night long and this is all due to DJ Vin who was on top of everything from the moment everything started.
Ladies, make sure he does the cupid shuffle at your wedding and he dances with the crowd- It was a big hit and everyone loved it at mine.

DJ Vin was awesome! I honestly can't say enough good things about him! My husband and I gave him a list of what we liked and he stayed with-in the realm, but added enough of his own additions to keep everyone up on the dance floor, it was so perfect! He also did a great job keeping the wedding running smoothly, as far as schedule, this was so helpful and something I didn't really anticipate when planning out the nights events. I am so thankful that he was there to push things along properly. Guests at our wedding said it was one of the best wedding's they'd even been to and I truly believe that a big part of this had to do with the music and dancing, thank you DJ Vin for helping us make it such a successful event!!

DJ Vin was a complete professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. With all the surrounding stress that comes with wedding planning, it was helpful to work with someone who would follow up with reminders about next steps and provide considerations about the wedding venue we would not have otherwise thought of. For example, following DJ Vin's suggestion we checked in with our venue only to find out that the venue's outdoor speakers was no longer working.

We loved how simple the information form was to fill out and we went into our wedding day fully comfortable that DJ Vin and his team knew exactly what we wanted. Guests of all ages are still coming up to us this day to tell us that the music selection was one of the best they had heard at a wedding. We would definitely recommend him for any wedding or other event.

DJ Vinnie was the perfect DJ. He was so easy to work with from the start and made the entire process seamless. He also DJ'd to perfection. We gave him a list of songs, and he knew basically exactly the type of music and vibe we were aiming for and supplemented our list with additional awesome music, and he nailed it!

We could not have imagined a better DJ for our wedding day. I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking to use a DJ.

A pleasure to work with! Vinnie was very responsive via email (you'd be surprised how many vendors aren't), was more than happy to help cut my processional song so it was timed just right and executed the event to perfection. I didn't need to give him a long list of songs to play because he naturally read the crowd. Vinnie is the best DJ that I have ever heard at a wedding event, seriously.

His professionalism, his artistic talent, and his willingness to go above and beyond the entertainment for events is amazing.

Vinnie is able to customize your event to what you want. To a "must play" list and a "do not play" list - he is fully interactive with the guests, and reads the crowd to make sure the event has a complete amazing experience.

My father-in-law even thank Vinnie in his wedding speech about being a "great master of ceremonies for the night we are going to have". By the end of the night, Vinnie was passing the microphone out to make sure that we were all involved in the final songs!

You will be fully satisfied with Vinnie!

DJ Vin was friendly, accommodating, affordable, and most importantley allowed us the customer the opportunity to choose the features, songs and wedding we wanted. Some vendors in the wedding industry will attempt to impose their traditions and taste on the customer, DJ Vin offered the opportunity for advise, but not once told us what he would do, rather asked what he could do to ensure our wedding day was the best day of our lives.

We hired Dj Vin to provide the music for our staff appreciation dinner last fall. The process of hiring Dj Vin was easy and stress free. He was responsive to emails, flexible in scheduling and the cost fit nicely into our budget. On the night of the event, Dj Vin arrived on time, was efficient during set up and helpful during the event. The staff were very pleased with the music as most people danced- a rarity. DJ Vin and his partner Pete are absolute professionals. We hired them for our wedding on the Jersey Shore (yes, they drove all the way down from Connecticut) and we couldn't have asked for a better emcee and DJ. The music was diverse and the sequencing was on-point. These guys really know how to read a room's energy. They had everybody, from the kids, to the bridal party, to our grandmothers, dancing all night long. (Quote from an uncle: "I haven't danced in 20 years, and these guys had me on the floor all night!") DJ Vin is extremely flexible and actually respected our "do not play list." He worked seamlessly with all of the vendors to make sure the event went off as planned. DJ Vin is the man!

Vinnie was absolutely AMAZING! Our venue had a huge DIY aspect, and Vinnie was so cool, calm, and collected all day that he became more than just a DJ, but also our on-site coordinator in so many ways. We can't say enough great things about Vinnie and Pete. They somehow managed to please more than 200 guests' musical tastes, and got EVERYONE up and dancing with music that set the tone for a magical night. We couldn't be more pleased!
