We were recommended DJ Urban Cowboy by a friend who hire him for her wedding. He was amazing to work with, giving us advice based on his experience. We had a wide variety of music that we like and (80's, dance, salsa, Hip-Hop). He was really great reading the room and figuring out what would get people on the dance floor. We had a small wedding (~60 people) and a lot of our friends don't really dance, but at some point in the evening almost everyone was on the dance floor (even if it was to sing-a-long loudly to a song). As an MC he was amazing and went beyond what I expected. We had games with prizes during cocktail hour that he announced the winners too. Several, balls got dropped logistically during set up (that was not DJ related) and when my husband went to handle it DJ Urban Cowboy stepped in to help so we would not have to worry in the middle of dinner. I am really glad we hired him and would recommend him to anyone. -

I have known DJ Urban Cowboy for years through my school's proms and the kids ALWAYS had a great time. After he was the DJ for a friend's wedding, I knew I had to book him. He was professional, upfront, and completely reasonable with his pricing. There are a lot of DJs out there, but few are as professional and fun as Greg. He's fantastic. He was able to look at our venue space and accurately decide on what services we would need. The music selection is amazing and his stage presence is on point. I will definitely work with DJ Urban Cowboy again! -

There are so many options out there and if you are like my husband and I, we were looking for something that was within our “cheap” budget. When I tell you we looked at every single option, we literally looked at every single option. My husband got a quote and sent me the quote with some of DJ Urban Cowboy’s videos and after looking at other reviews, we knew, this was the DJ we were going to go with and we believe it was the best decision we could have made! From the very beginning, we knew exactly what to expect of the day and the DJ knew his stuff. He sent us a form when we first signed the contract to give us something to think about to assist him with when it came to planning the day as we got closer to. It was extremely helpful when it came to us putting our songs and timeline together as well. A couple weeks before the wedding, he reached out to us to set up some time to talk further through the form and the timeline. We spoke with him for a while and it made us even more excited about the wedding! He was so down to earth and helpful for us, being patient and understanding, knowing that this was the first time we had ever done this, so there were things we were missing or had no idea the answer to. Even the day-of, he arrived early to get everything set up and assess the situation, him and his team member did a wonderful job at the ceremony, getting everything in and sat down and then back out and getting himself down to the reception site ready to go before the guests! The music and the entire night went so smooth and we truly give the credit to DJ Urban Cowboy for that! He was in control and kept everything transitioning and recognized the crowd and played the perfect music at the perfect times. He was extremely professional as a DJ and knew exactly what to do and when to do it to make sure that our night went better than we could have ever expected or asked for! Cara Sent on 02/19/2018DJ... Urban... Cowboy... Is by far... The best DJ I have ever witnessed!!!! I say this as a wedding DJ, a party DJ, and Gala DJ. I have done many different events but DJ Urban Cowboy was by far an awesome experience.
Urban Cowboy Ent. (UCE) was very professional from the very first email sent. He was nice, friendly and a enjoy to communicate with. Once we started talking on the phone, the same courtesy was present. UCE made everything clear to understand and asked many questions to make sure they were the right fit.
Closer to our wedding date UCE reached out again to setup a planning phone call. This planning phone call was to go through any types of changes we may have had from the first time we spoke. We went over all the music we wanted, confirmed the timeline, confirmed lighting effects and we were able to speak about the small things that would make our wedding truly unique for us. This included, giving them a custom first dance song.
I can say that UCE delivered on everything you can think of for a wedding. The lighting effects were great and really made the room feel like a party. One thing I thought was very nice was the flexibility of the day. We didnt have too many changes but anything that we asked for, UCE was able to roll with it. Finally and most important, the music selection, was ON POINT!!! My wife and I were tapping our feet from the time we were announced to the end of the night. We have been married for 3 months at this point in time, and our friends still say it was the best wedding reception/party they have ever been to. We even had a guest say they had more fun at our wedding than their own child's wedding. If that is not a measure of how awesome these guys were, then I don't know what is.
