We could not have asked for a better entertainment team for our wedding at Tandale Nature Barn. Every single service was absolutely amazing from the DJ, photobooth, photography, videography, and violinist. Everything exceeded our expectations and made our day feel so perfect and stress free.
A huge thank you to Shawn, Brooklen, Ben, Caton, and Halla for being so talented, professional, organized, and kind throughout the entire day. Shawn truly took care of absolutely everything and kept the entire wedding running so smoothly from start to finish. We never had to worry about a thing and were able to fully enjoy every moment.
Brooklen and Ben were so great to work with and captured every special moment beautifully. Halla’s violin performance added such an elegant and emotional touch to our ceremony. The photobooth was also a huge hit with our guests all night long.
Everything was absolutely spectacular and honestly could not have been better. We are so thankful for this team and would recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding experience!

My wife and I got married this September at the White Lodge in Pinckney. We hired Bash for the event with Kenny as our DJ. I cannot say enough on how seamless and perfect it was. From the planning process up to the wedding Kenny made everything so easy. It was clear to me during the event that Kenny is a seasoned pro. His execution was flawless and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. 10/10 would hire again!

August 2025 stonebridge review

We got married at stonebridge in August of 2025. Kenny was unbelievable as a DJ. We threw a couple curveballs at him with audio recording we wanted played at ceremony and coordinating with best man to have microphone ready to activate in pocket. The ceremony went off without a hitch and the reception was even better. Great music! Great coordination! And so talented at being an MC. Can’t recommend BASH and Ken enough. Great planning software too!

Shawn - bash dj

Shawn was indescribable. We struck gold. 2 days after the wedding I am still getting calls from family and friends saying they have never seen so many people on the dance floor. We had 215 people at our wedding, and by midnight we still had over 150 people there wanting to keep on partying. Shawn was professional and reassuring, but fun and always keeping the energy high. He was one of the vendors on wedding day we did not have to worry about. We had very specific entrances to our ceremony and reception which required Shawn to mix songs and have to be right on time. And shocker, he killed it. If I could go back in time, I would have Shawn a million times over. We can’t thank him enough. BASH entertainment for is the best!

Top level DJ service!!!

Working with Bash Entertainment was an easy “yes”! Leading up to the wedding, I received emails with checklists of everything to do wedding-related - so helpful! Our DJ, Devon was awesome to work with and very responsive.

They were awesome!

EDM Friendly!

We asked for EDM and Bash Entertainment delivered! My husband and I are ravers, so the music was incredibly important to us. Shawn, the owner, came with their DJ Joe, and they. both absolutely crushed it. Joe is in the scene himself, making him a perfect match for the style of music we wanted played. Staff at our venue and our friends/family came up to us and said they had never seen a dance floor consistently packed from the moment it opened to the moment our reception ended. Joe even brought my husband and I behind the decks for a song. We wanted our reception to be like one giant rave and without them, it wouldn't have been possible!

Greatest DJ Ever!

After our wedding people complimented us on three things, DJ Shawn, our vows, and the overall vibe! Bash was such a hit that our friends who got married after us had their band copy Shawn’s signature end of the night call out and dance circle. Shawn and Tony kept guests on the floor the entire night with their song selections and amazing energy. Bash Entertainment was highly responsive to our messages and made all our unique requests happen without a hiccup. Shawn kept track of all the small details, making sure every possible situation was covered. We got married in February in Northern Michigan, not only did Shawn travel to be there but he made sure we had Tony who lived close by available in case he couldn’t make it. Thankfully there were no issues and Shawn arrived exactly as scheduled which meant we had Shawn and Tony. Shawn was the ultimate professional and worked with our venues to ensure the music was everything we wanted, and ensured his booth and speakers were set up in the most ideal position all while keeping the energy high and making sure our music was audible. We also used Bash Entertainment’s Audio Guestbook and Selfie-Mirror – both of which were a huge hit! The audio left by our guests was hilarious and we will cherish hearing them for many years. Everyone, especially the kids, loved the selfie-mirror too. I will recommend Bash Entertainment to everyone for all your events. GREATEST DJ EVER!!!

Shawn was our main DJ for our wedding at Waldenwoods on June 9, with help from Brandon since we added the Selfie Photo Booth. We used Bash for our DJ and videographer for our wedding at Waldenwoods, and I'm so thankful we did! Kenny was our DJ and Ben was our videographer and they were both fantastic! The Bash portal was easy to use and made planning and decision making simple and straightforward. Both Kenny and Ben reached out in a timely manner and helped ensure our day was unique to us and went the way we had hoped. Truthfully, DJ Shawn and Alex made our wedding day all the more special. By playing each song I wanted and making sure the whole day went smoothly, they knocked it out of the park. I couldn’t recommend them more! One thing that I think makes them stick out, is how organized they are. You never feel like you don’t know what to do next, they handle it for you, which is so wonderful on the day of!

10/10, would hire again

In every area we cared about, Bash came through strong. For us planning our wedding, they were one of the recommendations of our venue; and extremely easy to find great information on regarding their vibe, services, and rates.
After looking like a strong choice, we reached out, and DJ Shawn replied quickly and professionally, and brought tons of warmth and enthusiasm to helping us plan our huge day.
Based on our music tastes and personalities, and expressing that we wanted a strong Emcee for the party, he paired us with DJ Ben who ran ceremony music then kept the dance floor full all night long.
Their selfie mirror photo booth was also a huge hit, and still one of the coolest photo booths we've interacted with.
We dealt with many great vendors for our wedding, and Bash was one we'd use again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone without reservation, for their biggest day.

Thank you Bash Entertainment!

We hired Bash Entertainment as the DJ for our wedding at The Gem Theatre in downtown Detroit on 12/16/23. Shawn Cox was our DJ and also brought an assistant, Colin. First off, Shawn is very personable and really made us feel comfortable as we were planning our event and figuring out what we actually wanted. The planning portal is user-friendly and helped us to figure out what needed to be played when as well as put in song requests from our guests ahead of time. The sound was great at The Gem in all the spaces that we used within the venue. Shawn had to do sound in three separate spaces (ceremony, cocktail hour/reception, and dining room) and rocked it. My husband is French Canadian so his parents and several groomsmen have French names and Shawn took the time to practice the pronunciation to do it correctly. He was also able to play some of my husband's favorite bands from Quebec, which couldn't have been easy to find! All in all, Shawn and Colin kept the dance floor hopping throughout the event and people really enjoyed themselves. Thanks Bash for rocking it!

Amazing! Best dj around

We had our wedding at Waldenwoods on 11/11/23, and DJ Shawn was absolutely AMAZING! A party is only as good as the DJ, and boy did we hire the best! He was very helpful, quick to respond, and flexible through the planning process. I secretly hired a mariachi band as a surprise for my fiance, and DJ Shawn was super awesome and didn't say a word! We also had him for sound during our ceremony, and everything was flawless! Our reception was a dream. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and we danced all night! He kept the party going the whole time. It was magical, and we can't thank Bash Entertainment enough for being a part of the best night of our lives! Well worth the money

Our DJ Joe and our Videographer Benjamin were just absolutely awesome the entire day. Joe had phenomenal energy, and knew exactly what he was doing for each step of our wedding day. He was a lot of fun to work with, and he got everyone involved with the dances and events we had planned. He was 100% the MVP. Benjamin was also super cool the entire day, and though I haven't received the final product yet, Ben was out there at all times capturing everything he could. 10/10 I recommend BASH Entertainment

Made the DJ part easy

Devon did a fantastic job. From planning to the night of, he made it easy so that we could focus on other things. He communicated well and at the end of the day, he just took care of everything we needed him to. Appreciate it very much and we would definitely recommend!

Best dj ever

I have worked with Bash Entertainment for many years. I always recommend them for all of our events at Prestwick Village. So when it came time to pick a DJ for my own Children’s wedding the choice was clear. DJ Shawn was the DJ for both my son and daughter’s weddings, and did an amazing job. He is answers all questions quickly and professionally. He knows how to get the crowd on the dance floor and keeps the party going. Don’t forget to get the selfie mirror. It is a HIGE hit! Amazing vendor

BASH Entertainment were AWESOME!! We used them for our wedding and the process from start to finish was so smooth. The selfie mirror was a hit and had so many compliments how their pictures turned out. We had Devon & Spencer and would have them again for any event requiring a DJ!

Best wedding decision ever

Shawn is the best DJ we could have ever asked for! He kept so many people on the dance floor throughout the entire night. Our guests loved the music and they stayed entertained. We also sprung for the 360 video booth and I would 10/10 recommended. Shawn is kind, professional, prepared, and proactive. He matches your vibe and can relate to your needs and expectations. He did my friend’s wedding, my wedding, and now my sister’s wedding. His bookings speak for themselves!

Bash Entertainment was the single best decision we made for our wedding. Period!

Bash Entertainment was a lifesaver for us!!! We had a very chaotic time leading up to our wedding, but Shawn went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our reception was taken care of. He helped us choose songs, figure out the best flow for the evening, and honored and respected what we wanted and our vision. At the actual reception he was so professional and fun. He kept the party going, played amazing songs perfectly on cue, and somehow managed to get even my aunts and grandma on the dance floor- it was just that fun! He reads the room incredibly well. He gave my husband and I the most fairytale moments making us the center of attention for certain songs (literally had guests get they’re phone flashlights out like a concert!😆 it was the best!) and just made us feel so loved and special. When you work so hard planning one day- being able to hand over your hard work to someone like Shawn and Bash Entertainment and know he’ll take care of everything- that’s priceless. Multiple guests told us it was the best reception they had ever been to. Forever grateful to Bash!!!

The Perfect Wedding!

Amazing dj, great prices, very professional!

Shaun went above and beyond our expectations. He was professional and courteous and met with us via zoom multiple times to make sure he got to know us and give us the DJ experience we wanted. I had a very specific vision for my winter wedding and he nailed it! Everything went smoothly from the ceremony music/speakers/microphone, to the reception introductions, to the speeches, and the banging music at the end of the night! He was not overly talkative as an MC during the night, which we appreciated! He was fun and you can tell that he sincerely loves what he does. He came in super early to set up and could make any space work! His website was super professional and I loved that we could plan every single minute of the night, AND we could sit back and let him take over and do what he wanted when we weren't sure what would be best. When we didn't have song ideas for a certain part of the day, he came prepared with a ton of suggestions. A good DJ can make or break your wedding, and Bash entertainment will not disappoint. We also booked the selfie mirror which was a HUGE hit. We added it on last minute and we are so glad we did. The pictures turned out GREAT and we loved that our guests could take home normal sized photos of the night and not the tiny strip that most photobooths offer. 10/10 WOULD BOOK AGAIN! :)

We had the bash of out lives

We bundled with bash. We got the videographer, DJ, and photobooth with Bash Entertainment. It was all amazing the videographer was with us all day capturing moments I never want to forget. The DJ helped me put the timeline together for that night and it all went perfectly he kept the flow nice and knew exactly when to switch up the music to keep the party going. It was so amazing and the Selfie photobooth mirror was such a hit. I would rehire them for any event I hold. Thank you for helping my dreams come true.

Fantastic Experience!

We worked with DJ Joe and he was amazing to work with! Everyone at our wedding told us how awesome our DJ was. He worked so well with us throughout the night, was very personable, and you could tell how experienced he was at weddings!

Amazing team

DJ Ben took the base line we gave him and ran with it-he knocked it out of the park! Kept people on the dance floor all night, and read the room so we had a fantastic mix for the whole crowd. MUST book! The DJ and team you NEED at your event

I cannot say enough good things about Shawn and bash entertainment. Seriously a MUST book for your event. I would give 100 stars if I could! When we met Shawn he had the energy and charisma that we knew would get the reception hype and he did just that. at our final meeting before the wedding he asked questions that covered every detail so set up and timeline was perfect and we didn’t need to answer any questions day of. Everything was taken care of perfectly and seamlessly. Photo booth mirror was a hit because they promoted it so much day of and all the guests loved that he was there to suggest cool settings and frames. He gave us software that was very user friendly to add “must play, play if possible, pay by request, cocktail, dinner, special dances, ceremony” etc. Meeting with us and talking through our music he 100% understood the vibe of the cocktail, dinner and reception music we were looking for and got EVERYONE on the dance floor. You NEED someone like this on your day who can immediately understand your vision and he exceeded our expectations. The music played was loved by everyone at all ages, our college friends, our aunts and uncles, even grandma, something not all DJs can do but he killed it with the range and timing of the music. He even surprised us by taking one of our engagement pics of us to put on the big screen at his DJ booth. Bash entertainment and Shawn are an incredible, kind, energetic, team that all our guest LOVED and made our day great. I can’t recommend them enough!!!

Shawn and the entire Bash team was amazing. We hired Bash for our DJ services for our wedding and we could not have made a better decision! Form the very beginning, Shawn has been responsive, professional and incredibly helpful to make sure our vision for our special day came true. Excellent dj and photographer for our wedding!

My husband and I were so happy with Bash! Shawn met with us early on to talk through our options and help us choose the best package for our wedding. We booked our DJ and photographer with Bash. Our dj Ben was awesome! He met with us on zoom about a week before the ceremony and went through the songs we wanted and didn't want. He was so flexible and respectful of our wishes. We got so many compliments on the music. We requested movie soundtracks for the appetizers and dinner and everyone loved his choices. Lisa was a phenomenal photographer! She made us feel so at ease and made having so many pictures taken feel easy and fun. We're so happy with how they turned out. The online gallery she uses is fantastic and she's helping us create a custom photo album as well. Thank you Bash for helping to make our day so special!

DJ Shawn was amazing! He was quick to respond to all of my requests and emails during our years of planning our wedding. He was always flexible with changes. A Million Stars!

Shawn is the absolute best at what he does. He treats his customers like family and ensures they have the most amazing day possible. So many people came up to us and complemented the DJ, and the selfie mirror was an absolute hit. The Best DJ

We hired Bash Entertainment just moments after we had our first phone consultation with DJ Shawn. We could tell just by the conversation and his energy that he was the guy we needed. We hired him and his team for both our ceremony and reception and couldn’t have been more impressed.
At our reception DJ Shawn and his partner were so engaged, so interactive and both having so much fun. Every time I looked behind the DJ booth both of them were dancing and singing. We got many compliments on the music they played along with their engagement in our wedding. Thank you Bash Entertainment for being so amazing!!!!

DJ Shawn w/ Bash Entertainment: Excellent Service! We needed a DJ for both the ceremony and reception and found DJ Shawn w/ Bash Entertainment. From the first meeting, we could tell DJ Shawn was a serious professional, who would do whatever he needed for us to have great music on our wedding day. He was able to answer all our questions and continued openly communicating with us up to the wedding. He is a true DJ- we sent him a list of special songs/timing requests and he executed them all perfectly. He was great at mixing/fading songs as needed to keep the party going all night long. He’s also super personable and his MC skills kept everything running smoothly. Best part of all, he’s reasonably priced! So reasonable in fact, we were able to afford adding on his selfie mirror (which was an absolute hit with the guests!) We highly recommend DJ Shawn w/ Bash Entertainment for your next event!!

Such a great experience!

Shawn was absolutely incredible to work with! Because of COVID, our October wedding got delayed to June. Shawn was so accommodating with helping us with BOTH our small backyard ceremony in October and our reception this June! All of my family and friends had a blast dancing to the music he was playing and the selfie mirror was a HUGE hit (you should see the crazy pics!). I was even told my husband and I throw great parties and we should do it every year, which I think it’s thanks to Shawns amazing DJ abilities. Changing all of our wedding plans in October was so hectic but Shawn made it so easy to make sure we had an amazing experience, from making sure we had the best ceremony music and having it streamed for our family to watch, to having amazing dancing music to party all night. I can’t thank him enough for everything!! Can’t wait to party with him again at my sisters wedding in September!!!

Greatest DJ ever

DJ Shawn is amazing!! He showed up hours before to set up, we had a meeting on the phone a week before, and he answered all of the questions we had almost immediately each time something new popped up. Several things go into a wedding but a good DJ really brings it all together, and Shawn did such a great job. Very grateful for him & very happy with the great job he did.

TOP Quality Service All Around

My fiancé and I didn’t end up hiring BASH Entertainment ONLY because we decided against the big wedding and decided to elope instead. (Covid related decision)

Up until we made that decision though, DJ Shawn with BASH was nothing short of a pleasure to communicate with! We changed our date and venue multiple times and he never gave us any issues. He was always super flexible, friendly and professional in correspondence.

Can't say enough good things!

Truly cannot say enough good things about DJ Shawn. He was extremely responsive and flexible during the booking process and worked with us to determine exactly what we wanted. When discussing music to be played during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception, he came with many ideas for us and you could tell he was very passionate about his work. The music he played the last few hours of dancing was great, and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Would highly recommend DJ Shawn if you are looking for a DJ to bring his own ideas, as well as incorporating everything you want, and of course who will keep the dance floor full all night.

Dj shawn - highly recommend

Definitely recommend DJ Shawn! He was helpful, played exactly what I wanted and his website was very helpful! It was nice to be able to use his online database to look up most popular dance songs and entrance songs. It also was nice because I could update it anywhere and didn't have to wait or take the time to meet in person.

Shawn, was hands down the best choice we could have made for our wedding. He was able to accommodate our schedule to meet. The first time we met Shawn, he got us! His vibe with our desired mood for our event was spot on. Shawn met our request to play a beautiful rendition of Metallica One during our precessional, he worked with our wedding song performer and he kept our night moving at a fantastic pace! Shawn not only showed my new husband and I a fantastic time, he played to our crowd! Shawn was able to introduce our guests to his new photo booth! DJ Shawn was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with and was able to make the soundtrack to our wedding day exactly how we hoped. We added on the photobooth at the last minute and we are so glad we did. It was a lot of fun for our guests, especially for the kids. So many funny photos we could enjoy looking at after the wedding. We believe if a DJ (or any vendor) was less than par our guests would have said nothing, but DJ Shawn was so great our guests went out of their way to compliment us on what an awesome and fun DJ he was. Beyond impressed and thankful for the suggestion to look into DJ Shawn's services.

Best decision we made for our wedding was hiring DJ Shawn! He made our wedding so much fun and our guests loved him. We did the best package with him which included our monogram and photo booth. Everyone had a blast and he made it very memorable!
