Working with DJ Sal Flip was incredible from beginning to end. He was very professional from the start, listened to all our ideas carefully, explained the process and set expectations super well. On the night of the wedding, he was on top of it from beginning to end. He truly elevated our wedding and made the night one to remember. I think a DJ can make or break your wedding, and Sal is the guy who will help you have the party of your dreams. I could not recommend him more. -

Best dj everrr!
DJ Sal was seriously the best dj ever. At first when my husband and I were looking I surpassed his quote thinking he was out of budget but I was so glad we had a phone call with him because we felt like it was an instant connection. He is so easy and nice to work with and the app you can upload everything to is so convenient and keeps everything so organized. He really listens to everything you say and eases any nerves you have. His audio is so clear and I was so nervous about the sound going out during the ceremony as it has at so many other weddings I’ve been to. He did a fantastic job announcing everything and keeping the crowd entertained and worked based on the vibe of the crowd as well. We added a lot of songs to the must plays but he took it from there and our wedding was 6 months ago and people are still saying how awesome our dj was and asking for the set list he did because it was such a good time. The dance floor was never empty! All of the extra lighting, CO2 cannon and his set up was AMAZING!!! He even added a photo from our ceremony that was an hour prior to the front of his set up for a little while! So cool! Could not recommend another vendor more!! -

Sal was amazing to work with and gave us such a fun night! From the beginning, Sal was easy to work with and answered any questions we had. His planning app and pre wedding planning gave us peace of mind that everything would run smoothly and it did! He had the dance floor packed the ENTIRE night and even coordinated music for our surprise firework show. We have had so many people tell us he was the best wedding DJ they have experienced and we are looking for an excuse to have him at our next event whatever that may be. Cannot recommend Sal enough! -

Sal is very friendly and personable. He came highly recommended by our planner and after meeting with him, we felt he took the time to thoroughly understand our likes and dislikes and the overall vibe that we were trying to achieve for our wedding -- and he nailed it! On the wedding day everything ran super smoothly, including ceremony audio needs despite a venue change due to rain. He made great use of our very unique reception venue set-up. He was extremely attentive to us at the wedding, checking in multiple times and even offering to get us drinks. When the dance floor opened we could tell he listened to our requests and knocked it out of the park with amazing musicality. The dance floor was super fun, packed all night, and several friends came up to us to tell us he is the best DJ they have ever heard at a wedding. We will be talking about him for decades to come and hope to see him again at friends' weddings in the future. We are highly recommending him to everyone! -

Music is something my husband and I bonded over in our relationship and was one of the key components of our wedding day. We both wanted a day that was set to all of our favorite songs. We chose Sal as our wedding DJ because of his reputation, professionalism, and his knowledge of the genres of music that we were looking for in our dance party. The planning app that he uses was super easy to upload our song choices into. Sal went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. He nailed the music and the MC’ing of the evening. I highly recommend also getting the Photobooth and the CO2 cannons. They were both such fun add ons and really enhanced the guest experience. If you’re like us and absolutely need to have great music execution on your wedding day, go with Sal! You won’t regret it. -

We can’t say enough good things about DJ Sal Flip— he truly brought the energy and made our wedding unforgettable! From the very beginning, he was professional, easy to work with, and completely understood the vibe we were going for.
The add-on package with the photobooth, cold sparklers, and cannon gun was such a hit! Our guests were obsessed — people are still texting us saying it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. The photobooth kept everyone entertained all night, the sparklers added such a magical touch, and the cannon gun took the dance floor to the next level. He also remixed our grand entrance song and made our vision come true!
The music was absolutely perfect — he read the crowd so well and kept the energy up from start to finish. If you’re looking for a DJ who will not only play great music but elevate your entire event, this is your guy. We’re so grateful he was part of our big day! -

Sal was super easy to work with. We reached out to him relatively early on in our wedding planning and knew he was the perfect match for what we had planned.
He was very easily to communicate with and never felt too busy or out of reach for any questions we had. We regularly touched based to ensure things were on schedule, even with both his and our busy schedules.
He was super flexible and accommodating, too. We had a bunch of specific requests and he never once said that it wasn't possible and helped us think through a few of the more challenging logistics (things like dance floor spacing, processional/recessional cues, etc).
When it came to party time, Sal obviously delivered. It's pretty clear how much experience he has when curating the perfect experience for what we were looking for. He took all of our music suggestions and ran with it. We could not have been happier.
For those also looking for a photo booth and a few other add ons (CO2 cannon, slide show previewing on his setup) bundled in, Sal and his team offer that too. We had a few of those add ons bundled in and were also very happy with it

Sal is seriously the best DJ ever! I knew when I got engaged we wanted to use Sal for our wedding and he did an amazing job from start to finish! We talked with Sal on an initial zoom call and then he sent us an app to work on over a few months before the wedding. The app organized songs for each part of our ceremony and reception and was very helpful for picking out music for each thing at our wedding! We had a final call with Sal to go over full details of our wedding. The day of the wedding We had some hiccups on our wedding day with changes in ceremony due to weather and behind schedule due to some issues with the venue but Sal just moved right along making everything so easy! He rocked our wedding! Our guests still talk about how great he was! Sal is very kind and professional and he truly made our wedding day so special with taking care of everything from the ceremony, cocktail hour to the reception! He is great! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who can do it all and will bring all the fun for your guests! Do not hesitate! Book him you will not regret it!!! Working with Sal was the most fun, seamless process. We had a couple video chats before our wedding day- the first just getting to know each other & getting more info about what he provides, the second was getting down to the vibe for the big day, adding any details & going over the layout of the evening. Sal was so incredibly helpful in every aspect of planning out songs, and really making sure we didn’t forget any moments. We added on the Glam Booth and I could not be more obsessed with our photos! Brides! Save yourself decision fatigue on this one and book DJ Sal immediately! He was recommended to us by a vendor friend, which was our stamp of approval and he was incredible. SO easy to work with leading up to it, everything was organized, all our requests met. The night of our wedding was perfect. He flowed with the energy of the night, had everyone dancing until the very end, knew exactly what songs and how long. We gave him freedom with very few "do not plays" and he nailed it. Incredible human. Reliable, professional, fun. We are a party crowd with high expectations (wanting a fun night of dancing is really the reason we went for the big wedding) and he knocked it out of the park. -

Amazing!!!
I’ve known DJ Sal Flip for over ten years (from partygoer to bartender) and always talked to my *now* husband about how well known he is in Baltimore for being an amazing DJ. So, when it came time to choose a DJ for our wedding, there was no question about who we’d hire. And we’re so glad we did because he absolutely exceeded all expectations — we still get kudos from guests about how awesome he was!
From the start, Sal was professional, organized, and truly invested in making our wedding unforgettable. The app he uses for planning makes it super simple to create a playlist, leave notes for him, and outline those absolutely-do-not-play songs. He took the time to understand our vision for the event, listening carefully to our preferences. We needed mics & speakers inside and outside at multiple locations and he executed that with ease. He offered expert advice too when needed. I didn’t know if a song was going to work out for walking down the aisle and he assured me it would be perfect, and it was!
Once the dancing got started, the energy was incredible. He kept the dance floor packed all night long, seamlessly blending different genres (my preferences are all over the place lol) and reading the crowd perfectly. Whether it was our first dance, the special song for the bridesmaids, or the party hits, everything was timed to perfection. The sound quality was top-notch, the lighting was stunning, and the dj booth signage with our name added so much to the overall atmosphere. It felt like the whole room came alive thanks to his expert touch. If you are second guessing the uplighting, definitely add it on!
He kept everything flowing smoothly, handled announcements with ease, and made sure every moment felt special. Having Sal at our wedding made it a night to remember. If you're looking for a DJ who is not only talented but also genuinely cares about your event, we can’t recommend him enough! Thank you, Sal, for making our wedding the best celebration ever! -

DJ Sal is a must. We have so many good things to say and so does our entire family so I'll try and go in order.
Booking was easy! We got to know Sal, he got to know us. His package options are great. The app for planning is amazing, the year we spent planning every time we had a good idea for a song or a moment, we could add it right into the app. The last review call before the wedding was so thorough, its all set so day of you don't have to worry. Ceremony set up was great easy for guests to hear the officiant and ourselves.
Get the photobooth & the CO2 cannon & the air horn. The fun surprises really make the dance floor pop. Setup looks amazing its so professional and clean. Having your new last name plastered across the front of the booth was such a cool visual.
We wanted a party and got a rager. DJ Sal can read a room he really mixes the music and curates a timeline for maximum fun. There was no Butt left un-shook. Even our grandmothers were fist bumping in their wheel chairs.
I could go on and on! We felt very taken care of and heard, he wants you to have the wedding and vibe that you want. There's no pressure and if you're unsure he has such great suggestions. He's the man and you're gonna want him for your event. -

He totally understood the style/type of music we wanted playing at our wedding and he knew exactly how to keep the dance floor packed all night long! When my (now) husband and I began planning our wedding, we knew selecting the right DJ was of high importance as a DJ can make or break a wedding. We met with Sal and immediately knew he was the right guy as he understood our vision for the music we wanted to hear and how we wanted the dance floor to look. From the moment the dance floor opened to the end of the wedding, it was packed, and I lost count of how many compliments we received about Sal’s performance at brunch the next day. One of my friends jokingly but seriously said that he felt like he could never get a drink at the bar because every time he left to do so, Sal would play another hit that he needed to make sure he was on the dance floor for. That is exactly what we wanted out of our day, and we can’t thank you enough for achieving it, Sal! We also contracted uplights with Sal as well as a photo booth from his company, Active Photo Booth. The uplights were amazing as they synced with the music and changed colors throughout the night. This is not an option we found with other lighting vendors we inquired with, and the photo booth was a big hit with our guests. We love that guests got to take home prints of their photo strips and that we received a digital album of all of the photos from the night very soon after the event. The pictures from the photo booth are an amazing compliment to the professional photographs because they are that great in quality.
I highly recommend Sal for all of your event needs. Having him take care of three elements of our September 2023 wedding created a seamless experience and made for a great night. -

We were so impressed by DJ Sal Flip! We had multiple guests remark to us that he was the best wedding DJ they had every seen. He was punctual, professional, and his DJ set up looked clean and sleek. Not like the usual bulky DJ tables. We had a LOT of little tweaks and concerns and special moments built into our timeline, and Sal was understanding with them all. I feel like I sent him a billion frantic emails and he was always taking the time to read through and go over it with us. Our dance floor was full the entire night, and even our coordinator said she'd never seen anything like it. I had gone to a wedding Sal had DJ'd and had a blast, so I knew even before I was engaged that he was who I wanted as our DJ. The pictures of our dance floor speak for themselves, and we had a solid 3 hours of dance party to fill. He's busy for a reason, so if you can book Sal, do it as soon as you can! Worth it for sure! -

Ok we seriously want to have another event just so Sal can come be our DJ again. He absolutely killed it. We had so much fun - we didn't want the night to end!! Our guests raved about how great the music was - the dance floor was full ALL night and half the guests don't drink! Sal knew exactly how to make each song flow to the next. He also checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were ok and see if we needed anything. Cannot recommend him enough - i make sure all my engaged friends know who to call when they need a DJ !! -

Sal was absolutely amazing and we're so happy we were able to hire him for our wedding. He was extremely easy to work with, catered his presentation style to exactly what we wanted, played all our must play songs in our playlist, and had great taste for additional songs. My now-wife and I found DJSalFlip off IG and reached out to see if he was available for our wedding. Sal got back to us soon and was super helpful and just took care of us! We really were not sure what songs we were going to play during most of our wedding and he was able to help us choose important songs, yet let us sit back and not have to worry about the music throughout the event. He's amazing at reading the crowd and matching the vibe. So many people came up to my wife and I telling us how great the DJ was! Sal gave us an amazing price for a Sunday wedding in June and I'm literally going to tell all my friends about how solid and reliable he was! It's always a bit nerve-wracking having to trust someone you don't know with music, but seriously, he's just the best. No hesitation in giving him a fantastic review! -

As someone who has DJed a few events and weddings, I know how high pressure and important the role is. When I was looking for a wedding DJ, I wanted someone who would be able to deal with my picky requests but could also take away some of the stress and just crush the execution. Sal did those things. He dealt with my custom edits for dance songs and an ever changing and expanding Greek music sets with enthusiasm. He also had a very high quality photobooth set up. Having bartended in Federal Hill for years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with and listen to dozens of DJs. DJ Sal came highly recommended to us and surely did not disappoint. Throughout the process we went back and forth between a DJ and live band. Sal was always responsive and never put any pressure on us like many others did. Once we decided on a DJ, Sal had a great mobile app that was synced to Spotify and Youtube. This allowed us to get all of the entrance music and specialty songs played without any confusion. We left the reception dance music up to Sal and he definitely knows how to read a crowd! We had the youngest and oldest (80 years) people at the wedding dancing the entire time! It is also worth mentioning that Sal also has a killer photobooth that comes with an assistant. There was a line the entire reception and we even got a copy of all the photos. It was definitely a hit! All in all Sal’s a great dude and a better DJ. We’d highly recommend him for any occasion! -

Perfection
Sal is not only a great DJ, but a great guy who truly cares about his clients from start to finish. He was super responsive and accommodating. We ended up booking his photo booth and lighting last minute and we could not have been more thankful. Sal helped us transition exactly how we wanted between ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. Sal is amazing! Super professional and fully committed to making his clients happy and 100% satisfied. The first thing I saw of him on our wedding day was him steaming our sequin photo backdrop, from that moment I knew I liked him! That alone just shows his commitment and how serious he takes everything, most would not do that. Sal made sure everything went smoothly all night, he kept everyone dancing all night, and overall just created a seamless night. Our group are really not dancers, I was worried nobody would be dancing at our wedding. Sal had the dancefloor filled, not just young people but parents and grandparents as well and people were dancing all night. His MC skills were also great! He was very comfortable and confident MCing the night, making announcements and transitioning from one activity to another. I have nothing but great things to say about Sal, I will recommend him to anyone. Book him!! -

If you want to dance the night away at your party, hire DJ Sal – plain and simple. We hired him for our wedding and were beyond pleased. He was professional and respectful in his communication. But most importantly, the dance floor was always packed. My husband and I had the best night, dancing the night away with our family and friends. He provided a great mix of music for all generations that attended our wedding, from the mash up entrance dance music which brought everyone out to dance, to the epic first dances, to Gangsta’s Paradise, and even to the last dance with Toto’s Africa. He also provided microphones and sound for the ceremony and uplighting for the reception, both of which were awesome. Find vendors that you don’t have to stress over or worry about – that’s what we found in DJ Sal – it was really nice to know that we would have fantastic music. We had absolute confidence in him and he didn’t disappoint. It was so great, we want to have another party just so we can hire him again.
Also, remember to feed your vendors well – they work very hard and for a long time – take care of them and they’ll take care of you. -
