DJ Ryan was incredible! Easy to work with and communicate/plan with ahead of the schedule. We even threw some changes at him last second and he was accommodating with no issues. Dance floor was popping the entire evening and Ryan did a fantastic job of incorporating our "wedding playlists" into his music selection. Guests are still texting us about our DJ! Highly Recommend. -

Ryan was phenomenal! We hit it off with Ryan immediately during our first meeting with him and knew we wanted him to be the DJ bringing the energy on our big day. And he did not disappoint! We had a number of specific surprises for the day and he executed each one seamlessly and was very helpful during the process. The night was a hit and nobody left the dance floor! DJ Ryan did a wonderful job at our wedding! We really enjoyed working with him throughout the planning process. He was responsive and collaborative and helped us troubleshoot a few logistics ahead of time to make the wedding day seamless. We were shocked by the energy on the dance floor and it was full until the very end of the night! -

Ryan is the best DJ! He did such a great job from start to finish. I initially saw him at my best friends wedding and when I got engaged I knew I wanted to hire him for my wedding. He is professional, responsive, and did a perfect job extrapolating from the songs I provided him for a great party. He is also excellent at MC'ing the evening and getting people where they need to be. I highly recommend Ryan! -

Ryan was really great to work with! We were able to send him our playlists for each portion of the wedding and he took it from there. He had a very easy going vibe that made working with him very smooth. He also kept all the music to a normal volume, which we appreciated since we've been to wedding where the music is so loud you can't talk to anyone, but the volume was perfect. We would definitely recommend Ryan! -

After our wedding Ryan told us, "I had a fantastic time, you throw a heck of a party," but the reality is that he is the one that kept the party going all night long. We cannot say enough good things about Ryan. He was so collaborative leading up to the wedding and very go with the flow, and willing to listen to our crazy ideas. We had a few last minute changes that he adjusted to with ease. An outstanding example of his professionalism, was his offer to edit my dad and I's father daughter dance song for me. My dad and I tap danced together, and I wanted to shorten the song. I was going to edit the song myself, and he graciously offered to do the cut himself. Ryan was outstanding in so many ways, and our guests said the same thing. We wish we could relive the night over and over again. -

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding - Ryan is seriously the BEST!! He was amazing to work with from his organization to communication to flexibility. He is extremely knowledgable and offered fantastic song suggestions, but was willing to play any and all song requests (even down to specific versions!). His personality is the perfect mix of professional meets positive and energetic to get (and keep!) the party going. He gave us the dance party of our dreams and all of our guests were raving! I honestly can't recommend DJ Ryan the DJ enough! -

We were able to work with DJ Ryan the DJ off of our venue's recommendation and it is incredibly obvious why he came with such accolades.
The dance floor was the most essential part of my wedding for me and DJ Ryan the DJ helped keep it packed and the energy high. He plays the BEST parts of every song and is able to blend songs from one to the next so that the party stays rolling without interruption.
He is well educated and was able to make suggestions based on guidelines for our ceremony. He is professional - he made sure he could pronounce all the names in our wedding party and worked closely with our wedding planner when I called an audible in the middle of the reception to make a change to be able to open the dance floor sooner.
Stop searching for your DJ and hire DJ Ryan the DJ. Hands down the vendor we got the most compliments on and one we will talk about for years to come. -

I cannot say enough great things about Ryan. He was very professional and knowledgeable about his profession. Throughout the whole planning process he answered all my questions in a timely manner and was so organized. I really appreciated his planning packet that he provided. It helped us pick out all the songs for the ceremony and reception events as well as giving us an extensive music list to help with reception music. Many of our guests have made a point to reach out to me and tell me how much they enjoyed DJ Ryan the DJ and that he really knew how to keep the party going! I would highly recommend Ryan for your event! -

If you are looking for an incredible DJ for your wedding, look no further. DJ Ryan was great to work with from start to finish. My husband and I gave him a very particular music list to work with because we are such music buffs and Ryan executed the music perfectly. He and my day of coordinator said guests were coming up to him all night complimenting him on the music. When it came time to dance, he played every song we requested and the music flowed with perfection. We could not have had the night we had without Ryan. HIRE HIM! -

My husband and I recently got married in February 2021, and were so thoroughly impressed with the experience we had with Ryan! We originally learned about Ryan through friends who had invited him to DJ their wedding. We were guests at this event, and remember the reception being a total blast thanks to the outstanding music selection and energy that DJ Ryan exhibited. From our initial consultation with Ryan, we knew he would be an irreplaceable fit for our vendor team. It was evident that he truly enjoyed his work and the unique impact he could make on how each wedding would be remembered. He takes a very individualized approach to designing the perfect plan for each wedding, and is very gifted and comfortable in curating a music selection based on your wedding theme or general tastes as a couple. Since we did not have specific lists for song selections (except for parts of the ceremony), we discussed our ideal wedding vibe and gave Ryan the creative freedom to make our vision come to life. Due to COVID, we decided to have a dancing-free reception with our very intimate group of guests, and instead hosted a barcade reception where family groups could play vintage nintendo games on projectors, cornhole, classic tabletops games, etc. DJ Ryan created the PERFECT mix for our cocktail hour, dinner service, and reception. He incorporated some of our favorite music genres with lo-fi renditions of songs from our most loved games, and our friends were all blown away when they recognized some of their favorite themes in the playlist. Our wedding had such a magical feel thanks to Ryan, all while promoting a safe and distanced atmosphere to best follow COVID protocols. We would recommend his expertise with total confidence to any bride and groom! -

Ryan is just such an amazing DJ! The way he seamlessly blended music from different eras, and genres kept the party rolling throughout the night. It is clear he puts a lot of passion and effort into what he does to ensure that the celebration is even better than you could have hoped for.
On top of that, he was extremely attentive to our ceremony. Throughout the night, he found ways to incorporate moments from our vows (which had some music lyrics) into what he played. That thoughtfulness alone would earn him high praise.
We highly recommend him for any event, wedding related or otherwise. -

My husband and I could not have been happier with hiring DJ Ryan the DJ for our wedding! Due to Covid, we went from having a large wedding to a very small micro wedding, and I was concerned that with such few guests, they wouldn't have as much fun - that was certainly not the case! Ryan played all the jams and everyone danced and had a blast. He was so helpful in accommodating all of our requests, including several song mash-ups and last-minute changes to our reception introduction. Not only is Ryan extremely talented, but he is also just an all-around great guy. Do yourself a favor and hire him for your wedding! -

Best DJ ever! Seriously, we enjoyed working with Ryan so much. Before our wedding my husband and I were blown away by Ryan's responsiveness and helpfulness in finding certain songs, helping us decide what music would flow best together, and his organization. He was super flexible and we were so impressed with how he tied all our requests together on our wedding day. On our wedding day Ryan was so much fun! His energy is incredible! He tied in guests requests flawlessly and kept the party going all night. Everything from our ceremony sound to our last dance went off without a hitch because of him. The punchline is: Ryan delivered the epic wedding dance party of our dreams! The entire process with Ryan was easy and comfortable, from our first conversation through the wedding. He handled music for both our ceremony and reception and made everything super easy and was helpful all along the way - he checked in with us, was responsive, and gave us suggestions and ideas when we had questions. Plus, it’s so clear that he truly loves doing this and cares about making sure you and your guests have an amazing time! From the jump, we told him that our number one priority was making sure people stayed on the dance floor. Ryan completely killed it. Throughout the night, from speeches through to the dance party, he subtly guided everyone right where they needed to be, playing perfect songs for the moment and getting people hyped up and excited. We danced all night and everyone talked about how insanely fun it was. Truly could not have asked for more! Do not hesitate to have him be part of your day! -

Where to begin?!?! Ryan was absolutely fantastic from our first meeting until the last song at the reception. He was thorough, professional, responded to all my emails quickly, and allowed us to enjoy our wedding because we didn't have a single worry about the music all night! If Ryan is available and you are getting married in or near Raleigh, don’t think any more on your dj choice - book him ASAP!
From the beginning he was professional- as well as very thorough in getting to know what our musical preferences were. He’s so flexible too - we prescribed certain songs but also let him read the dance floor. And he delivered. Most of our guests danced the night away - we could not have asked for a better experience !!

Ryan came highly recommended by our wedding planner, and we couldn't be happier! Ryan is an expert in his craft, and a wonderful person to work with. He was always very responsive and thorough in communications leading up to the wedding. We did not actually meet in-person until the day of, but this was not a problem at all. Ryan made sure that he went through all of our special requests and questions well ahead of the event.

Literally the best decision you could ever make.
DJ Ryan the DJ is absolutely amazing. He did our wedding ceremony and wedding reception last year - helping to run sound both for live music and then doing his own DJ set afterward. He has a great natural ability to read the crowd and make sure everyone is having an amazing time, and is just a totally delightful person to work with. He's professional but easygoing and just runs his business super well. He even helped me with creating the perfect "First Dance" mix - totally above and beyond. Hire DJ Ryan for your wedding right now and you will not be disappointed!! Ryan was recommended to us by our wedding officiant, and we are so happy we found him! From the very beginning, he was so friendly and easy to talk to. He communicated with us reliably and we had no doubts he would be a great asset to our wedding. He did a wonderful job of music for our serene wintery ceremony, kept the background music going during dinner, then got everyone out on the dance floor for the last 2 hours of our wedding. He also helped manage our timeline and emceed the whole evening flawlessly. We provided really specific timing for our first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance and he executed them beautifully. We had friends and family of all ages on the floor and it never cleared! He actually blends songs together unlike a lot of other DJs we have heard at other events, and he doesn't linger on any one song for too long, which kept things interesting. We had so many compliments about Ryan from our wedding guests, and we are thrilled to recommend him to anyone looking for a great dance party! -

Oh my goodness, I couldn’t recommend a DJ more than DJ Ryan. Seriously, I can’t imagine how anyone could do better. My husband and I first experienced Ryan’s talent at a friend’s wedding, and when we ended up getting engaged shortly after, we both knew we couldn’t go with any other. Ryan is professional, easy-going, and knows how to keep a crowd on the dance floor all night. I had several ideas in mind for the ceremony music and even a few odd ideas for the reception that Ryan easily made work. Our wedding music was one of the most important parts of our wedding to my husband and I, and Ryan couldn’t have helped make the music any more perfect. We are still receiving so many compliments on Ryan after the wedding, even from a fellow wedding DJ guest himself! Ryan, we can never thank you enough!!

We booked him for our 170-person wedding several months in advance, and in the lead-up to our wedding day he was very responsive to our questions and was incredibly helpful in guiding our selection of songs. He did an amazing job honoring our requests while building the playlist based on his immense experience to ensure that our party was truly awesome. Ryan was both methodical and thoughtful in his work with us, repeatedly checking in to make sure he fully understood our wishes and needs. In addition to working really hard on our music he also graciously served as our announcer during dinner and the toasts, and did a great job directing people and helping us stay on schedule. His ability to read the room was exceptional, and it was priceless to see awed and approving expressions on the faces of our guests on the dance floor when Ryan transitioned skillfully between songs. Seriously… his transitions were SO seamless and original. Ryan is a talented electronic musician with both an encyclopedic knowledge of music across decades and genres as well as an innate sense of timing and rhythm. He has extensive formal training in beat making and has been making music all his life, and it definitely shows in his work. As a DJ, he’s not just playing your songs - he’s engaging in his passions for creating awesome music and making people feel awesome. Many of our guests approached us specifically to say they thought he was the best wedding DJ they’d ever encountered, and my wife and I agree wholeheartedly! Ryan is super charismatic and kept the energy level very high all the way through the very end of our reception and even showed one of our 12 year old guests how to spin! We had such a blast working with Ryan is both an incredibly gifted DJ and a magnificent human being! Ryan was super responsive, was open to all my requests and suggestions, and had a GREAT introductory packet that allowed me to realize just how much music was needed for the entire wedding which was super helpful (especially the suggestions I hadn't even thought of!) Ryan was very honest, open, and willing to do whatever for our day and that really meant a lot to us! He took my 3-page song list and tailored to our requests, wants, and needs for the big day! We couldn't have been more happy with Ryan and he had THEE BEST DJ personality ever, which really got the crowd involved! Another great attribute about Ryan is that he TRULY is a DJ and can mix! He walked us through his services and helped us get a feel for what to expect from a DJ. And his pricing was amazingly affordable. If I could rate higher than 5 stars for value, I absolutely would.
Once we selected him, he would communicate via email with gentle reminders about selecting our playlist, and he was very accommodating to specific songs we wanted played (or not played), and was 100% on point for the first dances (starting the song on cue, fading out at the right time). He was a fantastic MC for our reception and kept the music going all night. Just a wonderful experience with DJ Ryan all the way around. I would highly recommend his services! -

We loved working with DJ Ryan the DJ for our wedding. He was so fun and positive from the first time we met him through the end of our reception. You could not ask for a higher quality, more professional DJ for any event. We were lucky that he was still available when we booked with him. At our first meeting he gave us a packet that outlined every piece of information we needed to provide (along with suggestions) to make our wedding a success and keep it customized to our needs. The venue we had chosen was very nontraditional and we knew that it would be a challenge, but DJ Ryan the DJ provided a flawless experience for our ceremony and reception. The only regret we have is that we didn't have more time for dancing. DJ Ryan the DJ's skills thrilled everyone on the floor, from ages 2 to 92. He could really read a crowd and kept everyone partying until the very last song. We couldn't be happier with the DJ Ryan the DJ and we know that he would make any event he works a special one.
