  Nothing but positive

  I have nothing but good things to say about DJ Romy. He was attentive, organized, professional, and knew how to read a room musically. The timing of all the entrance/exit songs were spot on and the dance floor was packed from the beginning to the absolute end. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I couldn’t recommend Romy enough!

  Fantastic DJ!

  DJ Romy was such a joy to have as a part of our wedding! He is very communicative, a great personality, and has great music taste. Aside from music, his equipment was very helpful - he was able to mic up our cellist and officiant, have a microphone handy for speeches, and provided great customized lighting for the dance floor. Would highly recommend!

  Great DJ and MC for Wedding Reception!

  During an initial consultation/call with Romy over Skype, he asked us our music likes/dislikes while getting to know our story and vibe of our reception. Once we had agreed he was a good match for our reception, he sent over a contract shortly after. The deposit was easy to make with a variety of payment methods. He sent us an app which allowed my fiancé and me (separately) to add songs and reception schedule as well as songs we absolutely did not want to play. The app was easy to figure out and nice that it was all in one place when we went to talk for a final skype call before the event. During our reception, we felt comfortable asking for changes as needed and Romy checked in with us as needed. Overall a great night and awesome music. The silver package included lights and multiple speakers, so we were able to hear music in pretty much all of the castle grounds where guests were. The lights were perfect for the dance floor.

  We absolutely loved DJ Romy!

  We made the best choice going with DJ Romy for our wedding! He was incredible to work with - responsive, friendly, and organized. He is clearly an industry professional. We didn't have to worry about a thing day-of and most importantly, he kept the dance floor packed! We had so many of our guests tell us what an awesome job he did. During the planning process, he shares a portal where you can add in your day-of details and song choices, which made the process simple and seamless. If you are looking for a DJ, look no further!

  Dj romy rocks!

  DJ Romy put on a fantastic show for our wedding. When planning of our wedding, he listened to what our vision of how we wanted the mood and ambiance of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Both of us had very different tastes in music (rock vs. reggae), and DJ Romy was able to find the right mix that blended both together well. And when the dancing started, he put on a set that was fantastic! We 100% RECOMMEND DJ Romy to any wedding couple.

  Choose him with no hesitation!

  If you are looking for a DJ to liven the atmosphere of your wedding, do not look any further than Heiromy. He was phenomenal. In addition to his professional communication, timeliness, guidance and recommendations, Romy allowed us the flexibility of being able to choose as many or as little songs for our playlist as possible. He was able to get the party started and worked with our photographer and venue to make sure that the ambience was just perfect. Do not hesitate. You will NOT regret choosing him as your DJ! We absolutely recommend him without any reservations. Thank you Romy!!

  DJ Romy provided an exceptional DJ experience for our wedding reception. Not only did he incorporate our playlist, but also added his own selections which were enjoyed by our guests. Throughout the consultation process, DJ Romy was patient and answered all our questions. At the reception, DJ Romy was a true professional and excellent master of ceremony-he kept the party going while incorporating the special parts (toasts, cake cutting, etc.) of the reception flawlessly. We strongly recommend DJ Romy!

  Best DJ and music experience I could’ve dreamed of

  Quite frankly the friendliest and most easy going of vendors I worked with during the course of my wedding planning. While Heiromy is a personal friend, I had never seen his work outside of our normal hangouts. I gave him a couple of genre requests, created a Spotify playlists of suggested songs. Lo and behold, he came up with a wedding mix that the crowd literally couldn’t stop being on the dance floor for. He even created a special dance mix for a dance I was doing with my cousins- and was able to create it in no time to allow us to rehearse with it! Needless to say, my husband and I absolutely Romy for his incredible professionalism, his incredibly friendly service, and his amazing music!

  Amazing DJ I would recommend to anyone

  We hired Romy for our wedding in Oct 2021 in Rockville, MD. He was amazing and we would recommend him to anyone. He really knows his stuff - I didn’t realize how much skill it takes to be a proper DJ. We met with him before the wedding and he knew off the top of his head how many beats per minute most of our songs were and was already brainstorming what order he wanted to play them in. He said that the order that you play the songs can change the mood and energy of the room. His web portal makes it easy to customize your wedding playlist.
  He had us include songs he must play, songs we hoped he'd play, and songs he’s not allowed to play. We were also able to tell him exactly which songs we wanted for cocktail hour and dinner. Romy is very professional and cares about the quality of his work. He asked us to send him audio recordings of the bridal party and family names so that he could practice the unique ones and be sure to pronounce them correctly on the wedding day. My wife’s parents from Poland were actually pleasantly surprised that he pronounced their difficult name correctly. Overall he was amazing and everyone I talked to from the wedding agreed that he was one of the best DJ's they've ever seen.

  The Best of the Best!

  From initial planning, then maneuvering through the many changes during Covid, and finally servicing our Sep 2020 Covid wedding, DJ Romy was the ABSOLUTE BEST! He was very professional, stayed on top of our communication and was one of the best vendors to partner with through the changes due to the pandemic. He truly listened and confirmed what my husband and I wanted and when it came time for the wedding reception, he absolutely exceeded our party expectations! He stayed on schedule and you can tell he took the time to prepare for the evening! We went from a wedding of 250 to 40 due to the pandemic and I was concerned about my guests having a good time and let's just say DJ Romy kept everyone on their feet and the vibe fun and energetic! DJ Romy has a forever client in us and we will recommend him to all of our friends and family!!

  Perfection!

  The DEFINITION of talent and professionalism! We found our search for a DJ to be quite challenging simply because we had no idea of what was going on how do you know if a DJ is good or not? This guy was INCREDIBLE!!! He took the time to really understand who we were and where we were coming from and then took that and created the Best experience we could have EVER asked for! You could immediately tell that he had done this before and knew the cadence of how a wedding should go. The wedding was about 1/3 older, semi-conservative family and then 2/3 young and energetic; he mixed it we’re everyone was able to have a genuinely amazing time! Can’t thank him enough!!!

  DJ Romy is by far the best DJ in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. He has an eclectic background and can easily play Latin, hip hop, and top 40 radio for any occasion. He DJed at my wedding and he kept the dance floor full the entire night. All the guests loved his selections. He also has a great personality and wants to make sure that if he DJs at your event/wedding that it will be truly memorable! Thanks Romy!

  We would definitely recommend Romy. His services are reasonably priced and he offered a photo booth with his DJ services. He was flexible. He permitted us to pick the majority of the music played at our wedding reception online. I though he was easy to work with and his energy level was good, too.
