An incredible DJ and Wedding Organizer!
Where do I even start?? Rachel is an incredible DJ and wedding organizer! We planned our whole wedding from abroad and Rachel was with us every step of the way, calling with us viz Zoom and making sure we covered all the details and had our timeline all in order ahead of time. Our wedding day went off flawlessly and flowed so smoothly, and that's certainly all thanks to her. We really didn't have to worry about anything on our big day, and we couldn't be more thankful for all her time, dedication, and energy. Rachel was an amazing DJ and night of coordinator. She not only helped layout and set up a timeline, but helped to make sure that timeline was followed by all members of the wedding the night of. Her DJ skills were spectacular! She was fun, energetic, taught us a few line dances, and made the night magical! Highly highly recommend her for price that was extremely reasonable, and her fun energy!

Couldn’t ask for a better experience
Rachel is the mom of one of my friends and when she told me her mom was a dj I was expecting someone with speakers playing a Spotify playlist. Boy was I wrong!!! She was so helpful from the first steps, helping us plan not only the songs but timing for the ceremony and helping get all the nitty gritty details worked out on paper. She was responsive to any questions and made sure everything was in order. On the day of she immediately took charge and helped pull my bridal party together and even put the boutonnières on the groomsmen. The ceremony was flawless, no mic squeaks or music too loud. She started the reception and we played games and did dances, everything flowed together and wasn’t awkward silence. Nothing was too long or to short. I couldn’t recommend her more!! 1000/10!!

Couldn't be happier!
I'm the MOB and although we had a relatively small wedding of about 50 guests, I was in over my head. Rachel put together a timeline, and helped us walk through the flow. The day of the event, things ran late and Rachel was behind me the whole time adjusting the schedule and keeping us on track. She arrived early, was super professional and fun, and on top of her great organizational skills, the music was great, too. You can hire Rachel and relax knowing you've got someone else looking out for your special event.

Her attention to detail in getting everything just right is remarkable. I love that she listened and cared about what we wanted. She's much more than a DJ--she also took care to get the ceremony music and line up right, and coordinated the schedule of events during the reception. I wanted to dance at my wedding and she provided the perfect, fun atmosphere. I also wanted a dance party that the grandkids could enjoy and that's what we got. I loved her teaching of the line dances. So, so fun!!!!

Mother of the bride highly recommended
This was my oldest daughter’s wedding and I did not know the first thing about running an event this big. Rachel was amazing! She worked with my daughter and her fiancé to be sure she covered everything they wanted and even made a schedule. On the night of the event she showed up on time and set up quickly. Very professional. During the event she was flexible with last minute changes we wanted to make and went above and beyond to accommodate us. She even ran some fun games and taught the whole wedding party a dance. The evening was a huge success because of her. Would highly recommend!!

Organized, creative, and a joy to work with: handles the stresses so you don't have to!
Rachel was INCREDIBLE. We did an all inclusive wedding through The Cottage in downtown Gilbert, who hired Rachel for us to be our DJ--we were a budget wedding, so we didn't have any outside wedding planner, etc.. This means Rachel practically served as our wedding planner: she reached out immediately to create a timeline, handled changes to it, reached out herself to people like our photographer and our Contra Caller (think Bridgerton type dances), found versions of songs which we love and could never even have imagined in our wedding (from a bassoon heavy cover of pachabel for our processional--yes, even with a contra bassoon--to an acoustic cover of the theme song of The West Wing that somehow worked as an opening to food and most people didn't even notice as anything different than standard wedding music), and was the person who made sure we stayed organized even when my partner and I were about 45 minutes late out of hair and makeup and having to rush through a lot of the early planning.
I see wedding wire lists specialties including music types, but Rachel can clearly do any music type you could dream of (do I think Rachel herself is actually a fan of the west wing or syfy channel original shows? ... Seems unlikely, but I suppose it's possible. Nevertheless she managed to find perfect music for people who were, with perfect instrument usage too, since my partner played the bassoon). I also had no idea how much a good DJ could do till we met Rachel, and we were truly blown away. We lucked out beyond what we could have ever expected with Rachel--although we were a budget wedding nothing about our experience with Rachel could be categorized as budget at all.
Throughout the process Rachel reached out to us and our vendors to make sure everything was on track and help organize things. I truly cannot express how great Rachel was. I am utterly serious when I say: If Rachel is available for your wedding day, hire her right now! I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job for us.

DJ Rachel is seriously the best DJ ever. I’ve been to and in weddings where the DJ just doesn’t play what you like or listen to special requests even from the bride. That wasn’t Rachel at all!! She kept communication open throughout the entire wedding process and kept the wedding party and guests on track. She even hung out with the best man’s cardboard stand in! I would definitely recommend her again and again!

Go with the flow
All correspondence and communication with Rachel prior and right up to the wedding was organized and stress free. The day of the wedding, minutes before the ceremony, we were blessed with a big rain cloud. Even after getting soaked moving all her equipment, the show went on and she did it with a smile on her face. Nothing but rave reviews from all that were in attendance.

Rachel was so sweet and helped us with our wedding timeline and gave great suggestions when we were stuck. We had a weird theme of dungeons and dragons and she made a great effort to intertwine that with her music and games. She also helped with my bustel when we were stuck! My husband and I got married May 13, 2022 at the Cottage in Gilbert AZ. DJ Rachel made sure EVERYTHING went smoothly, and kept the whole night on track and on time. I can’t say enough amazing things! Best DJ for a School Carnival
I would highly recommend Rachel to DJ for your event! She was organized and helped me MC our Pie The Principal and Raffle events. She also was on the dance floor with our guests getting them involved in line dances. She kept everyone involved and was a huge support to me and our PTO board. Rachel was wonderful! We met weeks before the wedding to determine play lists, activities etc. She was very accommodating for the various requests we had that were out of the norm. She helped keep us on track leading up to the wedding by reminding us of items we were still undecided on or were unsure of.
On the day of she made our plate, helped keep us on schedule, and was open to last minute changes. Rachel also remembered the preferred pronouns of our wedding party!

More than a DJ
Rachel really did an awesome job for our big day and even prior to it, helping us with our timeline and choice of songs. We had a small and intimate wedding, but she made sure everything is going smoothly entertainment wise and our timeline for the day. She is more than just a DJ, she's just really a nice person. It's not part of her job description to keep us hydrated but she made sure of that! We really appreciate those small gestures.

We loved Rachel from the first moment we met her. She was helpful and sweet and so easy to work with. Our original wedding date was 4/18/20, but with the crazy year we had, we ended up having to reschedule twice. She kept in touch with us all along and checked in on us on a regular basis. We were finally able to have our wedding on 4/18/21. She was absolutely amazing.... from playing all of the right music at the right times, to helping the photographer, to bustling my dress for me when nobody else could figure it out... she really did it all! She took requests and kept the party going all evening long. So many of our guests have sent us messages telling us how perfect our wedding was or how much fun they had. So much of that has to do with the way Rachel ran everything that evening and all of the energy she put in to making it a fun event for all of us. She is the best and we would definitely recommend her to anyone getting married!

You're Getting More Than Just A DJ
My husband and I booked DJ Rachel through my wedding venue and that was the best decision we could have made. She was very supportive and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. We had two meetings with her where we were able to complete our entire wedding day timeline from the brides arrival to the sparkler exit and everything in between including the music of course. If you are looking for a DJ and MC for your event then Rachel is the person to go with, she will keep the party going while also ensuring that you stick to the timeline. Amazing wedding dj
Rachel was on top of things from the get go! She showed how invested she was from the beginning of our experience with her by meeting with us several months before our wedding date, to go over preliminaries, and she created a folder with questionnaire worksheets for us to complete. Rachel then met with us again and compiled our schedule for the entire wedding, and sent it to our venue! Rachel kept everyone on track during the wedding! The coordinators, photographers, etc. all followed Rachel's schedule and direction. Rachel stuck to our playlist and was extremely enthusiastic as a DJ. We highly recommend Rachel to be your DJ!

DJ Rachel is very friendly and energetic. You can tell she really enjoys her job and is willing to jump in to get the party started. She DJ'ed a primary school dance for us and was very professional. DJ Rachel Z took so much stress away from planning my reception. She's organized, professional and FUN! Meeting with her was such a relief as I could tell that things would go smoothly. DJ Rachel Z is highly recommended
Our choice of DJ for our daughter’s wedding reception was DJ Rachel Z. She was fabulous!! We highly recommend her.
Rachel communicated well before the event and went above-and-beyond on the day of the event. She arrived early and allowed plenty of time for set-up. She even assisted with the train of our daughter’s wedding dress when it was stepped on and ripped. We were having a difficult time getting it re-bustled so she patiently stepped in and helped us resolve the issue. Her assistance was very much appreciated. She also offered water to the wedding party multiples throughout the event. Again, she truly went above-and-beyond which in turn helped the evening flow smoothly.
We loved the direction she gave during the dance portion of our event. She encouraged our guests to get on the dance floor and jumped in with line dance instruction. We appreciated her positive, upbeat personality. We will certainly hire Rachel again. She was a pleasure to work with.

No words out there to explain what an fantastic DJ she is! Rachel was on point from day 1 to meeting us all the way to our wedding night. Rachel’s communication with us at all times was beyond perfect . When are wedding arrived DJ RACHEL was there for us, and guests. She was not only our DJ she was our coordinator made sure our guests were enjoying our wedding, our photographer didn’t need anything, our goof Booth was set up for us , DJ RACHEL, was always making sure everyone and us were having a great time. When it came to bride/groom needs she made sure everything went PERFECT and that their wedding was PERFECT as they wished.
Bride made sure that European music was played at the wedding and DJ RACHEL Z did it!!! Families can’t stop talking about our DJ and how amazing she was .

Professional And FUN!
My (now) wife and I met Rachel about ten months before the wedding. We were stressed with what still needed to be done, and had absolutely no clue how to do it all. Rachel didn't just help us with a music selection, she sat down and helped with ideas for the WHOLE WEDDING DAY. Ways to make the day exciting and enjoyable, even though the wedding was at a dry venue. She kept in contact the whole time, she constantly reached out wanting to help, and just made sure we stayed positive during the chaos of it wedding planning. The day of our wedding, she was involved with everything, actually being the MC of the event. When time came for us to sit and eat, she made sure we got our plates first and even brought us drinks! She somehow managed to get a bunch of SOBER millennials onto the dance floor. We had been planning a 'different' final dance, where our last song would be Buble's "Feeling Good", but with a twist. We wanted it to mix into Goldfinger's "99 Red Balloons", as this was my wife and I's favorite moshing song. She managed to make it blend flawlessly, and everyone absolutely loved it. DJ Rachel was not only important on the day of, but throughout the whole planning process, and I really don't think we would have enjoyed the whole thing if it wasn't for her.

Rachel did an awesome job basically running our entire wedding day! The ceremony went perfectly, the dinner and toasts went well, and the dancing was so much fun! She even brought us our dinner and drinks to make sure we got to eat. Her song choices were perfect, and got everyone singing and dancing! The guided dancing was a lot of fun too.

Rachel was incredible!! She was so organized and helpful throughout the whole wedding process! My husband and I lived in Vegas while planning our Gilbert wedding, which made things a little more difficult meeting our vendors, but Rachel made it so easy and seamless! She really got to know our music taste and caught onto what our guests were enjoying the most on the day of our wedding! She could not have been more perfect! I told her I loved her because I’m an organizing and scheduling freak, and she was great at sticking to the timeline and keeping myself and my photographer updated on what events were happening next!

I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!
Rachel was amazing from start to finish. Not only did she take the time to help me sort out my timeline and choices, she always made me feel like I was important, and I felt that genuinely cared about making our day perfect!

We love dj rachel z!
DJ Rachel Z is AMAZING! Throughout our entire experience, she was so fun to work with. She took the time to get to know us as a couple to really get a sense of what we wanted our day to be. She was helpful and generous each time we emailed. She met with us and planned out our whole day and sent us a timeline so that we were prepared. She had suggestions for fun games, and offered to teach certain dances. On our wedding day she kept to the schedule and was flexible with any changes that inevitably happened. She kept everyone dancing, was friendly to our guests, and checked in with us throughout the reception to make sure things were running smoothly.
Planning a wedding is stressful but, Rachel helped us with any questions along the way and did it with a smile. We never felt pressured by her, she encouraged us and anticipated issues so that we wouldn’t need to worry on our wedding day. We are SO glad that Rachel was our DJ. She helped make our day even better than what we hoped for.

I was so impressed with Rachel. She made everything, I mean everything, so much less stressful! I couldn't believe how much the DJ actually does, its like hiring a wedding planner! She made a minute by minute schedule that she followed so well. She was our "professional interrupter" when my husband and I were stuck in long conversations that needed to end for the plans to move forward. If you need a DJ, go with Rachel. She’s awesome! She communicates amazingly well, coordinated timelines with all vendors, gives suggestions if you aren’t sure about something, and had no issues with my last minute changes. Our wedding was not a super high energy event, and I knew nobody would dance since the venue didn’t allow alcohol. No liquid courage = a timid crowd. Rachel was great about getting people up and interacting. She even got out on the dance floor with my goofy aunt. She did an amazing job! Thanks, Rachel! You’re the best!

From the very beginning, I knew we were in good hands. DJ Rachel Z was so much fun to work with, and definitely was the cherry on top of our wedding. The few weeks leading up to the wedding, I was such a wreck and she held everything together for me. Rachel did an amazing job as our DJ, we met early hashed out some starting details and the day went off with out a hitch. She had some awesome questionnaires that got our ideas flowing and song suggestions on her Facebook. Day of the wedding she kept in contact with me as I changed some of the timeline and she was flexible to the max and kept everything rocking and rolling. She's a breeze to work with and easy to contact cannot recommend her enough, with this one at the wheel you're in good hands.

Rachel Willes is the BEST!! She is seriously worth every single penny! My husband and I had no clue how to plan a wedding reception´s itinerary, but after fifteen minutes of talking to her, she had given us fantastic ideas that worked for both of us! The big day came and we didn't have to worry about a thing! The music was perfect and she kept the party rolling and in full swing at the reception. The dance floor was always packed, she kept the crowd moving, and she kept us in sight and was able to quickly grab us when we were needed for cake cutting or bouquet tossing. We had asked for music that was completely free of explicit content and that is exactly what we got! She is very flexible and wants to make this day exactly how you want it. You're wedding reception is safe in her hands!

Rachel was an amazing DJ!! She helped my daughter and her fiance plan out the perfect itinerary for their wedding reception. She was inexpensive and provided very professional high quality service. She kept the events of the evening running smoothly. She played clean fun music all night and kept games and the itinerary moving and the guests involved and having fun. She tailored the events of the evening to exactly what my daughter and her fiance desired. It was an amazing night thanks to her services! Everyone should have Rachel DJ their wedding!!

Rachel was a wonderful choice as DJ for our wedding this past May! I was dealing with some major anxiety-related health issues all during planning, and she never pressed me too hard for an email reply or deadlines. She gives gentle reminders and is extremely organized and professional right through the day of! We were neither too late nor too early, and she did a wonderful job of keeping all the friends and family entertained! First rate choice for us!

Rachel Z is awesome! She went above and beyond for us! She is great at organizing the ceremony and reception with a timeline and great music. She has suggestions for songs but whatever you choose she has. I had a special slide show I want to show during my toast for my new husband. She put the slideshow to the song I wanted and set up a projector to show it. It turned out amazing and there wasn't a dry eye there. She is very personable and truly wants to make your wedding special.

She kept all activities in order and took care of all the necessary pieces of our wedding on the day so we knew where to be, when, and did not have to worry about a thing! Rachel did a marvelous job at our wedding reception and we would highly recommended her. If we could, we would give her a 10/10 rating. She is reliable, flexible, and organized. She was quick to respond to any questions that may popped up (which means a lot when you are planning a wedding)! She is professional and made our guests feel welcome at our reception. DJ Rachel Z is phenomenal. She was so organized and really helped us make sure we were going to have a night we would never forget. She was in constant communication with us and guided us through the entire process. Rachel was super fun and kept the party going and she was basically a wedding planner too and keep the night on schedule. She is definitely the best DJ in Arizona! If you want your wedding or event to be tons of fun and have a DJ that is going to plan everything out for you, then go with DJ Rachel Z!

STOP, you've found the best DJ in town! You're working with an AMAZING DJ when you work with DJ Rachel Z. Rachel takes the time to help you develop your wedding day timeline. Provides creative suggestions for songs and dance ideas. DJ Rachel Z made the insanity of a wedding day seem so easy. She is a bubbly, positive, and extremely professional personality on an otherwise stressful day. Can you imagine someone who is capable of corralling cats (ie: family and friends) and keeping you on schedule....... She's AMAZING!

Rachel was AMAZING!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ than her. Not only did she do an awesome job with the music but she helped us create and stick to a timeline for the wedding. Rachel did an amazing job. She gave us great ideas and was a pleasure to work with. She was very professional and very personable. She really got us as a couple. She kept the wedding at a great pace all night with fun games, and had a great way to get people to the dance floor. There was never a boring moment. I would highly recommend her for any event. Planning my own wedding was pretty crazy, but after I hired Rachel there was that much less to worry about. She brought her own equipment, set up the space, played my music, and announced all the events such as first dance, cutting the cake, bouquet toss, etc. Rachel has a fantastic fun personality, very professional, and made everything run smoothly for our big day!

This was an incredibly fun night because we made the decision to hire DJ Rachel Willes as our DJ. Everyone had an wonderful time and our guests raved about how fun the dancing was. Thank you Rachel for an extraordinary night! Your delivery of fun and dance instruction pot the cherry on the top of our reception. I would definitely hire this DJ again and highly recommend her.

DJ Rachel was extremely organized and helped make our wedding run so smoothly! She is an awesome DJ/MC, and we are so happy we chose her for our special day! 10/10 would recommend - knowing she was keeping everything on schedule put my mind at so much ease when I had so many other things going on to keep track of. She is very accommodating to any and all special requests you have, and is priced extremely fairly (we so appreciated her flexibility and not wanting to charge for every microphone, etc. that we found was the case with other vendors). Rachel took a lot of stress off of a brides shoulders by putting a timeline together, making sure the dancing crowd was happy, and making sure I was where I needed to be at the right time. She is a great time keeper and fun! I would recommend her to anyone. She also helped coordinate the send off with my photographer which was super nice! I also didn't feel like she over charged us, she was willing to work with the budget that we had. Shes the best!
