Pete is a great DJ and really helped make our wedding special. From the beginning he was incredibly organized. The day of the wedding he handled everything audio related seamlessly. Our dance floor was packed all night long. Would recommend! -

DJ Pete was an absolutely fantastic person to work with for our wedding. His clear communications, promptness, and calming presence made the planning process a breeze. DJ Pete matched our music taste perfectly while also adapting to the energy on the dance floor. Everyone was raving about the music throughout the reception and multiple people commented that it was the most electric wedding dance floor they had have ever been on. -

As a DJ, Pete really delivered. He played music through our cocktail hour and dinner then got everyone dancing. He seamlessly blended our somewhat eclectic music tastes with songs from his library. He even took a few requests from guests and incorporated them in a very natural way. Everyone was raving about the music and kept dancing as night went on!
And as a person and professional, Pete was exceptionally easy to work with both leading up to our wedding and on the day-of — he's an excellent communicator, very flexible, and truly took the extra care to make our wedding day special. He perfectly adapted and catered to our unconventional venue, had no issue with our intentional lack of a lot of reception traditions (first dances, announcements, speeches, etc.), and was even providing a helping hand to other vendors.
We're so lucky and glad we got to work with DJ Pete on our wedding day! -

DJ Pete brought the party to our wedding! He kept everyone on the dancefloor and played music appealing to all ages; he was also a great emcee. You don't realize how important an emcee is for your wedding day! It's very, very important. Pete made essential announcements throughout the night, like our wedding party/bride/groom introductions, and he also made other announcements, like when our trolley was leaving and when the late-night snacks were coming out. Not only did Pete emcee and provide great music throughout the night, but he also provided lights for our reception room and a microphone/speakers for our ceremony. After our wedding, Pete provided us with a recording of our ceremony, which we didn't think we wanted at the time, but I think it'll be great to listen to years later. I highly recommend working with Pete! He was professional, friendly, and helped make our wedding so much fun! Thank you, Pete! -

Pete was an amazing addition to our day! He played all of our favorite songs and kept us all dancing until 1:30 am! He also provided us with a sweet audio recording of our ceremony and speeches which was such an amazing touch! Pete also stepped in without being asked and helped my bridesmaids fix a floral problem right before our ceremony! Great person to have on your special day! You would not regret hiring him! -

DJ Pete is the best!
We chose DJ Pete because we didn't want to work through a DJ service. Pete seemed professional and experienced. At our first meeting, we could tell that he was the right choice because he was friendly, accommodating, and told us that getting people up to dance was his specialty! One of my husband's main priorities for the wedding was dancing, so this hooked us immediately. He offers recordings of the ceremony, as well as the toast speeches. In addition, he provides uplighting for the dance floor and during the reception. I recommend this service because his lighting makes the dance space look inviting and fun.
I cannot speak enough to Pete's responsiveness and attentiveness. He edited our first dance song and was able to cut it to our desired length within 2 days of my email request. He helped us create a timeline for the day's events and discussed in detail the way he would make announcements, and say our names and the names of our family members. In the week leading up to our wedding, I emailed and texted him with several updates and announcements I wanted him to make. He took note of each and made every announcement as we requested.
The day of the wedding was a blast. The ceremony music was well timed, our entrances were fun, our first dance went seamlessly, and everyone hit the dance floor! Our guests loved DJ Pete, and his music was perfectly tailored to our crowd and our tastes, based on the form we provided him. There was overall a good mix of music that everyone enjoyed. He set up and took down all of his own equipment.
Pete was a pleasure to work with. Professional, friendly, and great at what he does. -

Hiring DJ Pete was one of the best choices that my now-husband and I made for our wedding day. Believe the glowing reviews. On a personal level: he's kind, very likable and overall just a friendly, warm presence on a hectic day. On a professional level: he is an expert. He was receptive to our ideas and made them better. The music at our reception was perfect. We are both fairly low-key people and wanted to create a fun atmosphere without leaning heavily on cheesy hits or overly hype-y music/commentary. DJ Pete nailed it. Everyone was dancing and the night felt like a real reflection of us. His supplementary lighting was also very cool, and the sound was crystal clear for the ceremony/toasts. And, within days, he sent us an audio file of our ceremony- which we didn't even know we needed (but are so glad to have.) Thanks again for being one of the best parts of our wedding day! -

Pete was on the same page with us from the very beginning. We let him know that one of the most important things to us was for our guests to be out on the dance floor having a blast all night, and that's exactly what happened! Pete was responsive, professional, and super fun to work with. He came along with us for every step of our wacky ride, from our opening disco dance to our nieces' Irish step dance to our wild family Polkas. We loved every moment of our party, and got so many compliments about DJ Pete from our guests. He became one of the family! We can't say enough. Highly recommend!! -

Intuitive and Professional
We feel so blessed and are so grateful that Pete were there to man the show. He absolutely nailed it! Pete understood our vision from the very first conversation. We could feel the love that he has for his work. We appreciate all the time, thought, and energy that he puts into it. He absolutely made our wedding so personalized and unique.
Pete was gracious and understanding with any changes. He set up mics for our niece and her boyfriend to play guitar and sing during the ceremony. He then sent us an audio of the ceremony within a week! He was lovingly tolerant of the many children and censored their many requests. The lighting was perfect for our huge tent in the middle of a field. Absolutely beautiful! He is so talented, passionate and professional with all the services that he has to offer. I'm also so very thankful for all the help and guidance which led up to the event. It was so kind that he took the time to chat and walk us through our decision making. "DJ Pete" will forever be a part of our story. We were so nervous about getting a cheesy wedding DJ when we started our search... Pete is the complete opposite. He intuitively reads the crowd and plays the perfect mix! He's a master of his craft and fun to work with! -

Pete was recommended to us by our day-of coordinator for our 150+ person backyard upscale tent wedding in Stockbridge, MA. Simply put, we are so happy that we found him! Our first conversation was just that, a conversation. Laid back and go with the flow, Pete made it very clear off the bat that events outside of his normal 9-5 job were something that he was passionate about. He was extremely responsive via email and accommodated many of our song choices and recommendations- including fading in and out at the right “moments” during chosen songs. About a month before the wedding, he requested a detailed form be filled out with a timeline, a “do not play” list, a “must play” list and everything in between. He made sure to get a good grasp of the wedding vibe and the music that we would most enjoy as hosts and guests. The day of Pete arrived on time and gave us the experience of a lifetime. He was accommodating to our requests and even stayed an extra hour because we were having so much fun. Out of all my vendors, Pete was the most self-sufficient in the best way. I didn’t feel as if I had to “check up” on him at any point during our communications. He was timely with responses and kind. During the wedding, the generator tripped at one point and before I could blink, Pete had figured out what had happened and fixed it. We had him do up lighting for our tent as well, which was stunning. If you’re looking for a chill, laid back DJ who won’t get in the way of your special day with cheesy MC jokes and cliche wedding music Pete is the one. -

DJ Pete did an awesome job supporting our wedding event in August 2021. He was responsive from the start, easy to work with, did a great job on setting up the lights for our venue and DJ’ing the event. He did a great job of playing a variety of music from our play list and kept the crowd on the dance floor. We would highly recommend him. -

Pete exceeded our expectations as a D.J. at our wedding! He executed the music perfectly for the ceremony and he had everyone out on the dance floor for the reception! We hired Pete for our wedding and were extremely happy with his DJ services! He's very friendly and personable; communication was top notch. Everyone was raving about the music at the reception. Announcements were on point, and he provided a microphone that projected well without any issues. He's an audio professional and it really showed; the music was loud without overpowering the entire room. It really was an A+ job well done! We'd definitely hire Pete again.
