Thank you dj persist

We feel so incredibly lucky to have found DJ Persist! He made our special day absolutely perfect! We saw family members on the dance floor who we hadn't seen dance in our entire lives! DJ Persist knows how to read a crowd and is incredibly talented. He understood our eclectic group and somehow found a way to cater to everyone (from banda to pop-punk to hip-hop to country), making it all look seamless. Hiring him was one of the best decisions we ever made, not to mention his amazing add-on services. We had the 360 booth, which was an absolute hit! Some guests later told me they had so much fun with the booth that they could have done it all night and had one of the best nights of their lives. Additionally, DJ Persist kindly offered a new service called the nightclub experience to us free of charge since it was a new launch, and OMG, it was so fun! My large bridal party was nervous their entrances would feel awkward, but that concern vanished the moment DJ Persist provided LED strobe wands and poster signs. If this is a concern for your bridal party, please, please consider adding it on! Thank you so much for everything, DJ Persist!

DJ Persist was amazing!

Jesse was absolutely amazing as our wedding DJ! From the planning process through the reception, he was professional, organized, and easy to work with. He kept the energy high all night, read the crowd perfectly, and made sure the dance floor stayed packed.

He did a great job with announcements, transitions, and accommodating our music requests. Our family and friends had an incredible time, and we’ve received so many compliments about how fun the reception was. Jesse helped make our wedding day unforgettable, and we couldn’t be happier with his service.

DJ Persist, Jesse, did a phenomenal job for our entire wedding. He was extremely easy to work with, very responsive, and has a user friendly platform. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the dance floor. He kept the mood fun and the party lively! We have continued to receive compliments on how that was the best wedding with the best dance floor anyone has ever experienced. We explained to Jesse that we had a very diverse crowd attending, which required a diverse selection of music. He delivered beautifully! People sang during dinner and kept the dance floor full. DJ Persist was the BEST!

You NEED to go with DJ Persist for your wedding!!! We originally found him because we were hoping to find a bilingual DJ who could address our loved ones in both English and Spanish while knowing the fun Mexican wedding dance traditions. We had multiple interviews with DJs but he really stood out and made us feel like no one would be left out on the dance floor! We got the deluxe package which includes everything you need! The most important part was the music and he truly knocked it out of the park. He incorporated all the genres and songs we asked for while adding in songs that fit the vibe perfectly. He was able to create the perfect multicultural medley that fit us perfectly as a couple. It ranged from 2000s hits to cumbias to Marco Antonio Solís to Taylor Swift which may seem like a huge range but he did it all so seamlessly that everyone was having the best time. He did such a great job of keeping us on track that night and followed the timeline we gave him to a T! He also offers so many fun and cool add-ons. We got the Photo Booth add-on which our guests loved as they got to take something home with them. We also had a robot (who dressed up as a gorilla for a bit) and this was the highlight of the night!!! Seriously our guests have not stopped talking about it because it was so memorable and different :) He made everything so easy and seamless so that you just show up on wedding day and have fun! He also put together a picture slideshow of my husband and I which was such a sweet touch. His lighting set-up was amazing and worked perfectly with our venue. I honestly wish we would’ve gotten more add-ons so do it for yours because you won’t regret it! Jesse is truly a great guy with vibrant and professional energy that you will be so happy you went with him! 100000/10 recommend! Thank you DJ Persist!!!

DJ Persist!!!!

In 2020, I came across DJ Persist on Instagram Live, and I was immediately blown away. He was seamlessly blending Latin music with American pop, understanding the rhythms of both cultures and playing total bops. At the time, I had only been dating my (now) husband, who’s from Mexico, for about a year-- but I remember thinking right then and there: "when we get married, we’re hiring DJ Persist."

Cut to 2025, and that’s exactly what we did. We’re based in NYC and flew Jesse in from Chicago because we knew how important it was to have someone who could truly bridge both of our cultures on the dance floor, and wow, did he deliver. The energy was unreal. The dance floor never let up -- both families came in and out all night, and most of the time we were all dancing together.

It was incredible how effortlessly Jesse moved between English and Spanish. It made both of our families feel included and celebrated, and we heard nonstop praise from everyone (on both sides) about how incredible he was. People were in awe of the setlist, the transitions, the vibe. We brought him to our after-party where we really let the dance floor loose. He's such a smart DJ-- not just pressing play on a playlist. He understands the musicality, the beats, and how to layer songs together; it was seriously so fun.

On top of all that, Jesse is just great to work with- kind, responsive, professional, and fairly priced. He truly gets it, and hiring him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Amazing DJ!

DJ Persist was amazing throughout our entire event. He had the dance floor packed with people dancing the whole time. He made sure our special night was unforgettable for everyone there. We had a good mix of guests and he played genres that everyone was familiar with. Prior to our wedding, he provided us with many great suggestions for our special dances and met with us to go over our timeline. Although wedding planning can be a bit stressful, he did a great job at making us feel that the music wouldn’t be part of the stress. We were in good hands. Incredible Wedding DJ for all music genres

DJ Persist (Jesse) was such an amazing person to work with for our wedding. Having a bilingual wedding, we wanted to ensure that our DJ could navigate switching between Spanish and English music as well as multiple genres from oldies, nortenas, reggaeton, and pop punk. During our meetings, we described what we wanted and he made our dream happen. We also received timely responses for any email follow ups that we had. There were seamless transitions between the genres so people were on the dance floor all night. It was so much fun to have Jesse as our DJ that evening. We also hired his team to run our photobooth and it was absolutely worth it. Great prints and multiple template options. I would recommend DJ Persist to all my friends and family.

He made sure that every part of our wedding aligned with our twilight theme, and his attention to detail did not go unnoticed. If you’re considering booking DJ Persist – DO IT! Best decision ever. He had our dance floor packed all night long! Our wedding was a mix of English speakers and Spanish speakers so we were nervous how we would execute a smooth and fun night for all and DJ Persist did it with ease! He did all announcements in both English and Spanish, knew the right music to play for all to enjoy and have a great evening. Besides his excellent DJ and MC skills, he also was extremely professional and patient with us the entire process. He has a really nice software for you to use while planning your timeline and music selections. If you’re unsure where to even begin, it also provides you music suggestions that are popular with weddings. We also utilized some of his upgrades (cold sparklers, uplighting, and upgraded dance floor lightings) and those truly took our night up a notch! We can’t recommend him enough!!!!

Your wedding dj!

Wedding planning is a BEAST, but when you invest in the right vendors, they get it done at a high level, which is part of the reason we hired DJ Persist!!

Something we knew we’d get from DJ Persist is high quality service. Given his extensive background in Chicago nightlife and program coordinating experience, along with being bilingual, was a plus!

DJ Persist kept all of our guests on the dance floor, ALL NIGHT (not kidding). He also ensured that the night kept moving along and communicated with our vendors making sure the night ran smoothly.

If we could do our wedding over again, we would hire DJ Persist in a heartbeat! We also booked the photo booth through DJ Persist, which made our planning process seamless.

From the beginning, Jesse was extremely professional, communicative, and made the process so smooth. The day of the wedding, he came early to double check everything he needed and made sure to provide quality sound for our ceremony.

Best DJ for any and all events

We recently had the pleasure of having Jesse be the DJ for our wedding. He was very professional and was able to help us make the night go very smooth. Great communication starting from the initial meet up months before the event, up until the very end of the night. Throughout the night he made sure to check in with us if anyone made any special requests to make sure that we were ok with it. Apart from making sure we had our night go exactly how we wanted it to go, he also played the perfect music for the crowd that was present. A True DJ and MC in every sense

We recently had the pleasure of hiring DJ Persist, also known as Jesse, for our wedding, and we could not be more thrilled with our choice. From the very beginning, Jesse demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a genuine passion for his craft, making our special day even more memorable.

One of the standout qualities of DJ Persist was his ability to connect with our predominantly Spanish-speaking guests. His fluency in Spanish allowed him to make announcements and engage with our guests in a way that made everyone feel included and excited. This was incredibly important to us, as it ensured that all our guests, regardless of their language, could fully enjoy the celebration.

Jesse's extensive knowledge of Hispanic music was evident from our initial consultation. On his website, we were able to request a few of our favorite songs, and he took it from there. Our Dance Floor Was Packed All Night

We could not have had a better DJ for our wedding than Jesse. He is incredibly easy to work with, responds to all questions very quickly, and he provides robust planning tools that allow couples to plan their day down to the smallest detail. Above all else, though, he definitely knows how to read the room and play the perfect song for the moment. His music mixing is phenomenal - he had our dance floor completely full during our entire reception while making sure all of our "must play" songs made it into the playlist. Dance floor was PACKED the entire night!

We cannot say enough good things about DJ Persist. During the booking/planning process, he was very helpful in explaining the different services he offers. On the day of the wedding, he was at the venue setting up early, even though the weather was bad. Jesse did an amazing job throughout the planning process as well as the actual wedding. He DJ'd our destination wedding in Mexico and had clear communication with us and the resort to ensure we had everything needed for a successful night. He was a guest at our rehearsal party/hotel bar, yet was still doing his research and paid attention to what music our guests enjoyed.

Jesse made our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception run smoothly. He made announcements, which was a great help and minimized running around. NUMEROUS guests came up to us and asked us where we found the DJ. Jesse kept the dance floor filled the entire night!

Great experience

DJ Persist did an awesome job for our wedding. Everything was seamless, from the introductions during dinner, to the music he played on the dance floor. We gave him our list of suggested songs and he ran with it from there, he did a great job reading the room and keeping everyone on the dance floor. On top of that, the photo booth was a big hit, glad we added it. He was also very professional to work with, having several zoom calls before hand to confirm all of our details. We would definitely use or recommend him again for any entertainment needs.

Best dj ever

I had the pleasure of hiring DJ Persist for my wedding, and I must say, he exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, his professionalism and ability to handle tough situations were truly remarkable. His ability to navigate challenging personalities while still maintaining a high level of professionalism truly impressed me.

When it comes to DJing skills, DJ Persist is in a league of his own. His mixing was flawless, seamlessly transitioning from one song to another and keeping the energy on the dance floor at an all-time high. Dancing alllllll night! Legs are still sore! Haha

DJ PERSIST! Where do we even begin to describe how amazing our night went! He was amazing, from the planning process all the way til the very end! He kept everyone moving, dancing, and hyped our families up. It was very important for my husband and I to have a mix of music, both Spanish and English. And DJ Persist delivered that! We are sooo grateful to have found him and had him part of our wedding day! Both our families loved the music and were wowed by the mixture, again it was truly AMAZING! Thank you Jesse! 😊

Communication:

Jesse was awesome and super punctual in his communications (even when I wasn’t 😛) He always made sure to check in and set amazing expectations on what he was able to do. He also worked very well with our day of coordinator to make sure all the tiny logistics were smoothed out.

Music: Jesse’s ability to take what you wanna play and craft it into a seamless playlist throughout the night was astounding. He kept the crowd going and always managed to pull people to the dance floor with his music selections alone. He was also able to read the floor and vibe off of what the people really wanted to hear while also staying true to the music selections you wanted to hear. Jesse’s pedigree of Dj’ing in the Chicago circuit for more than 10 years coupled with more experience in the wedding industry really showed through.

Professionalism: Jesse is beyond friendly and super professional. His booth setup is out of this world and really brings the party atmosphere to the wedding. The Photo Booth setups were also A+ and highly recommend for anyone who is on the fence.

Overall: gotta give Jesse an A+ here. I’m really big on vibe and music plays a very big role in how you want your guest to feel and enjoy the night. For us, he turned our night into one we will never forget. Thanks Jesse and team.

Look no further…your go to DJ!

DJ Persist is your go to DJ. He is so organized and listens to your wants and needs. It was important to my husband and I to find a bilingual DJ and was familiar with the traditional Latino dances. The day of the wedding, he made sure that we followed our timeline and everything ran smoothly because of him. Not only that but he played all the hits. Our guests were dancing and were having a good time. Aside from the music, we also added on 2 sparklers and 1 TV screen to our package. The sparklers gave that extra uff to our dances and we got amazing pictures. Jesse was also able to create 3 video montages for our dances which made it even more special. Thank you Jesse! Amazing Services!

We had the most wonderful wedding thanks to Jesse!! His services went far beyond music. Jesse was a key part in developing our wedding timeline and provided services that really elevated our ambiance. Jesse provided the music for the night, uplighting, photo booth, and the "dancing in the clouds" feature for our first dance. I would highly recommend DJ Persist! The online planning platform was extremely helpful and made the music selection such a stress free process. A memorable night!!

If you are looking for a dj. Stop! You found him. Dj Persist makes planning easy. I was having the hardest time finding a dj let alone one that would actually communicate with me and follow through. You will NOT be disappointed!!!!

Jesse is a PHENOMENAL DJ! He played at our wedding last Friday (8/26) and he was amazing! He had all of our guest on the dance floor it was such a good time! Mixed ALL the genres we picked to perfection. He is very professional and very pleasant to work with. Music is the biggest party of any big party and he did not disappoint! He was very responsive when we would reach out and he helped answer so many questions. But most of all he was very patient with us and helped calm our (my the bride) nerves throughout the night. DJ Jesse is the best!

Jesse (DJ Persist) was the DJ for our wedding day and he was absolutely amazing. He reached out to us as soon as he was assigned to our event and quickly put our minds at ease. Jesse went over our music timeline with us from introduction songs to the last song of the evening. He was detailed and organized with his planning for our music selections and had an extensive catalog which included all of the songs that we had asked for. The day of the even Jesse approached us and gave us a quick rundown of how he was going to play our music which again helped put us at ease. He had a great setup for his equipment and lighting along with extra microphones for speeches. He even faded out songs at specific moments that we asked for effect that made the dances more special. Jesse is a true professional who knew how to read the crowd and play music that was getting everyone dancing. His services are greatly appreciated and we will definitely be recommending him to friends and family. Thanks again Jesse for helping to make our wedding day special.

5 star DJ!

DJpersist (Jesse) is hands down the best DJ to have at your special event. My wedding was 07/02 and from our first FaceTime meeting prior to booking I already knew this was the vendor I needed to have. Jesse was so professional and pleasant, he also managed our timeline for the reception event he made sure that we stuck to the timeline that we agreed on he helped us tremendously with that aspect. Coming from a Mexican and Ecuadorian family he was able to mix all music where everyone had an awesome time and was dancing the whole night. Do not double think definitely book with DJ persist! The LED Robot had everyone on their feet we have family still talking about our special day and how the music & robot completed our night!

Great DJ, great variety of music for our Mexican wedding

We hired DJ Persist for our wedding in December of 2021. He was great to work with, we used an online planning form to organize the details of the evening and it was so easy. As a stressed bride, it was so nice to know all the entertainment was taken care of ahead of time and I really appreciated not having to worry about everything going according to the schedule because Jesse was on it the whole evening. As far as music variety, he had everything we were looking for and on the off chance it wasn't available, he found it and made sure we had the songs we wanted. He was a pleasure to work with. Great experience!

What an amazing and professional DJ! Jesse acted not only as our DJ but as a coordinator as well. He ensured we were on schedule throughout the entire ceremony and reception. Music was on point throughout the entire night....one of my bridesmaids even came up to me during the wedding and said this music is all you! He was able to catch our taste in music perfectly and our guests loved it!

Due to covid, we were able to meet virtually about a week before our wedding to go over music and timeline. His online system is easy to navigate and features "top _____" to help with ideas to pick the right song for garter/bouquet toss, first dances, etc. Very helpful!

And my absolute favorite thing about him is he ended our night in the best way possible! He played our last song of the night as expected but then he played 2 other songs that are close to both of us but aren't necessarily dancing type songs...BUT, he did it and the floor was packed for both of these. What an amazing way to end the night. Thank you so much Jesse, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Do not hesitate to book Jesse for your event!

I don't even know where to begin because I have so many amazing things to say about Jesse! We (very naively) waited until about 4 months before our wedding to even start looking for a DJ for our ceremony and reception. I found Jesse through my online searches and saw how many great reviews he had and I knew we had to book him. Unfortunately, his website said that he was booked through 2021. I reached out anyways and I am so glad I did because he had our date available!

Jesse was extremely helpful and reliable throughout the entire planning process. Our venue requested that all DJs do a venue tour prior to the event day and Jesse had absolutely no problems choosing a day and making the drive out to do so. The online planning tool that Jesse uses is super simple and user friendly. About a week before the wedding we had a final meeting that helped me feel completely at ease and confident that the music on our big day would be perfect. At this meeting, Jesse suggested adding an anniversary dance and I could not be happier he did - it was so fun to see all of the couples at our wedding dance and we got so many amazing pictures from this moment!

Jesse executed the day flawlessly. He kept our timeline on point. I am naturally a micromanager, but I had so much trust in Jesse that I never once looked at a clock to make sure that we were on schedule because I knew Jesse had it. Our wedding was mixed - my family being white and my husband’s hispanic - and I can honestly say that there was music for absolutely everyone throughout the night. We had the perfect balance of oldies, hip hop, 90’s rock, 00’s pop, bachata, salsa, slow dances, line dances and more. Jesse read the crowd perfectly and the dance floor was literally never empty. I may be biased, but thanks to Jesse I can honestly say our wedding was the most fun I have ever attended.

I will recommend Jesse time and time again to anyone looking for a DJ and hope that we have events in the future that give us the opportunity to book him again. If you’re considering booking Jesse for your event, just do it! You will not regret it.

Jesse was simply excellent for our wedding. His attention to detail was precise. He essentially acted as a day of coordinator and made sure our reception stayed on schedule. His experience was on display as he was able to communicate effectively with the venue staff to make our wedding reception be our best day ever. He also blended traditional American style wedding music with Latin music for our Irish/Italian/Mexican wedding perfectly. All of our guests danced the night away. DJ Persist will not dissapoint!

I’ve been eyeing DJ Persist for many years because his music always has me on the dancefloor, and I never want to leave. I had always known I’d want him as a DJ at my future wedding and he was actually the first vendor we booked.
Thinking back now, little did I know that having Jesse as a DJ at my wedding would mean the whole package, not just bangin’ music. Leading up to our wedding day, Jesse was prompt, organized, and intentional behind all aspects of our wedding reception timeline. He has systems in place that made it easy for us to think through what music/genres we wanted (and what we didn’t want). He was quickly able to grasp the vibe we wanted our guests to feel during our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancefloor, and was able to make our vision a reality.
After our wedding, our guests have told us that our reception timeline ran so smoothly, and Jesse played a huge role in making that happen. There was even a moment where I wasn’t sure if we were on time, and he quickly put on his “counselor” hat and reassured me we were right where we needed to be with a smile. Jesse is not a just a DJ who plays music. He does everything in his power to hype up the crowd by being a great MC, which allows you, as a couple, to take a step back and let him take care of everyone having a good time. He’s seriously a jack of all trades with so many add-ons on top of his DJ services. We are so grateful he was a part of making our wedding day so special. Thank you, Jesse! Best DJ in Chicago area!

DJ Persist was the best!! I booked him for my daughter's quince last year (covid). Changed the event date 3 times. We changed location and he was always responsive and never gave me a hard time. Finally we were able to book this year 2021 a Sweet 16 and it all worked out! He asked for a meeting before the event (super professional) and a list of songs my daughter wanted him to play. He played all the songs and knew when to change the music. I also hired his photo booth. OMG Best photo booth ever!! Everyone had fun with the photo booth and the music!! We all danced and had a great time! I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family!! Can't wait to book him in the future.

Professional DJ at its best

We had the pleasure of working with Dj Persist for our wedding in June 2021. Persist is very professional and we appreciated his attention to detail. I asked for a very particular genre of music to be played during dinner, and he did not disappoint. What I appreciated the most was his professionalism, he was on time and verified that both the AV people and the venue coordinator were all on the same page to make sure my wedding ran smoothly. From the beginning, we came up with an itinerary and I was very adamant for us to try and stick with it as much as possible, Dj Persist made sure we were on time. Dream wedding thanks to DJ Persist!

Where do I even begin with DJ Persist? From the first call I had with him, I could tell he truly cared for his clients. He was always super responsive to every phone call or email. When it came down to the night of the wedding he acted like another wedding coordinator. He kept us on time and told us everything we had to do to the TEE. Heck, he even reminded us we needed to eat before making rounds to the tables to say hello to everyone. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. It was truly a great experience and I will forever recommend him to everyone in the search of a DJ for any special event! 10/10!

Best dj ever!

Dj persist was amazing! Although he was unavailable to dj our wedding day, he set us up with one of his staff djs, DJ Luniks!!!! However, we knew we wanted dj persist because he has DJ’d a bunch of our friends wedding and those weddings had the best dance floors! We booked DJ Persist for our wedding June 26 2021. Everyone knows that the biggest part of the wedding is having good music. Since the beginning of the process Jesse has been professional and very organized. We are extremely happy with his services. We received so many compliments of the music. We had follow up text the next day which our guests said that they haven’t danced that much in a very long time. DJ Persist is the best!!!

He stuck with us when my wedding was cancelled in May 2020 until we eventually had it in April 2021. By then, we were limited to 50 people and could not have a formal dance floor. Still, I could not recommend DJ Persist enough! He made the preparation process easy and gave us all the tools we needed to pick our first dances and must play songs. He was extremely professional in figuring out the timeline and helping our officiant/wedding planner run the ceremony. He kept the event running smoothly and picked the right songs at the right time to keep all my family/friends having a good time! He read the room and made sure to include our favorites! We did not know what to expect going in, but after sitting down with him he was able to help facilitate our wedding by helping us with the programming and layout of the venue. He was a huge asset as he used his experience to put forth the best recommendations so that everything would run smoothly. We were able to sit back on that day and take in the experience with our guest as he was able to read the room and play the music that everyone enjoyed. He was able to get all age groups on the dance floor throughout the night. We couldn't have asked for a better night! DJ Persist is not just the music, he is the whole package!

A Dream Come True

DJ Persist (Jesse) was absolutely amazing! He provided us with DJ services, a standing photo booth AND a roaming photo booth (which if you have never heard of a roaming photo booth ask, you wont regret it!). Everything went extremely smooth leading up to the big day even with a venue change due to covid -- Jesse was very accommodating and professional. He payed attention to every small detail and was able to read the room to ensure the dance floor was never empty.

The photo booth was a hit but the roaming photo booth was even better. People are STILL talking about it today how unique it was and how they can text the photos to their phone. The attendant even did a "boomerang" of throwing the bouquet and going for the garter.

The quality of the equipment and his team are top notch. We would not have changed a thing!

DJ Persist kept us dancing all night- he was AWESOME!

This review is exactly 1 year late (7.13.2019), how embarrassing! DJ Persist (Jesse) and his team were beyond amazing helping us with cocktail hour music, MC'ing the whole reception and keeping us on task/on time, of course DJ'ing, and the photo booth on our wedding day! We were looking for a bilingual English/Spanish DJ that was a native speaker, which was important to us, and a DJ that was knowledgeable of English and Spanish music and blended them well. DJ Persist was our unicorn and we're so glad we found him!! He did a phenomenal job of doing all of the above, paying attention to detail, mindful of our requests/musical personalities, did an awesome job reading the room/energy and progression of the night, keeping us on task and so much more! DJ Persist is warm and had great energy! We felt so comfortable with him and were confident from day one that he was going to do an excellent job on our wedding- and he did! He surpassed all expectations and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Throughout the planning process and day of he was great with communication, organization, artistry and creativity! We appreciate him working with our vendors and day of coordinator! Excellent dj service for your big event!

DJ Persist is truly AMAZING! We got married 2/15/2020 and we did a good amount of research regarding a bilingual DJ that was going to be able to keep our guests on the dance floor, and Jesse was absolutely able to do just that! Nye wedding

Just had a New Year’s Eve wedding and if it weren’t for Jesse it would have not been as great as it was. We got the fireworks, along with dancing under the clouds and I still get compliments everyday on how beautiful it was. During the whole process he was very attentive and thorough and made sure everything was perfect. His projection screen showed music videos which was awesome and everyone thought it was so cool and different. The dance floor was packed all night and he for sure knows how to read a crowd. Very personable and hands down such a wonderful guy. Can’t thank him enough for such a memorable night we will never forget!!!

Absolutely amazing!

From the beginning Jesse was incredibly professional. My husband and I were thrilled to have him as our DJ! At our wedding reception he told us to relax and enjoy our celebration because he would take care of the rest of the night. There were soo many little details during the night that he took care of and he always had an eye on my husband and I to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Jesse worked with us to have a schedule for the night and it went amazing! Many of our guest complimented us on how smooth everything ran. He KNOWS how to work a room! My husband and I aren't big dancers but even we got tired after all the dancing we did! We are so grateful to Jesse because we, our friends and family had a blast! Amazing DJ for our wedding!

Jesse provided both DJ services and a photo booth for our November wedding. We are so happy we worked with him on our special day! The dance floor was lively and full of guests all night long, which was one of our biggest hopes for the big day. My husband and I come from mixed backgrounds, and he ensured everyone felt included out on the dance floor. Leading up to the big day Jesse was very responsive and his online tools made it easy to plan everything out. His photo booth was also a lot of fun, and we loved the ability to create a customized design. He sent over the full library of photos within a few days of the wedding, which was a great way to relive the fun while everything was fresh. DJ Persist was super professional and a big event saver! Our mariachi was a no-show and they were supposed to play for two hours before him and we’re supposed to play my daughter father dance and he quickly gave me options to pick from so that he can improvise on the fly. The crowd never even noticed that it was not the song I was supposed to dance. He fed of the crowd dancing on what he played next to keep the party going. He never once hyped or advertised his name like other DJ’s do constantly. He was all about us and giving us what we wanted on our special day. Played whatever we asked on the fly and mixed it in perfectly as if it was planned to be the next song. If you are looking for a GREAT DJ that will not disappoint and give you exactly what you want, book him! His photo booth package we got was AWESOME and everyone loved it! It was the talk of the party for everyone. He was setup way before anyone even got there and was ready to go as soon as people started showing up with some background music that was not overwhelming but appropriate. We had great communication throughout the entire time of our wedding planning. Jesse is highly recommended for any occasion and he will come prepared for anything that comes up, we can vouch for that! He is already booked for our daughter’s quinceñera next year.

Incredible DJ

Jesse was amazing to work with for our May wedding! He was extremely professional and had great equipment. Our wedding guests were a mix of ethnicities and ages and he made everyone happy with the styles of music he played. On top of his great music selections, he was a great MC (and bilingual which was a must for our wedding!).

In addition to his DJ services, Jesse provided a photo booth with an attendant and it was a total hit with all of our guests! I would highly, highly recommend working with Jesse.

Dance Floor Packed

Dj Persist had our wedding guests on the dance floor all night long (which is honestly one of the top 3 most important things I wanted for our wedding). We had quite a mix of guests as I am Hispanic and my husband Italian- and he was able to read the crowd well all night and make sure everyone stayed dancing. He played all different genres that appealed to everyone and it all mixed great together. A week later, and we are still hearing about how great the music was and how packed the dance floor was all night which makes us so so happy to hear. Jesse was professional and always very quick in his responses to our emails. His website is very user friendly and helps organize everything very well for the timeline. The Perfect Wedding DJ

Jesse was absolutely amazing to work with. He constantly coordinated with us throughout the planning process to make sure everything was going smoothly and had a final call the week of the wedding to go over everything. As soon as the reception started, Jesse was on top of everything and made sure everything got done. As far as the music, the dance floor was packed all night. From the first song when the dance floor opened up to the very last song, the dance floor was full of our guests. He did a great job of mixing in traditional Latin music/dance music/ oldies to keep everyone involved. One of the things I will always remember about our wedding was that as the last song finished, I turned around and saw just about everyone still on the dance floor. I would absolutely recommend DJ Persist to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.

Great service and customer service!

My husband and I hired Jesse for his DJ services and photobooth more than a year before our wedding. He was professional and thorough throughout the planning process and the wedding. Any question or request we had, his follow up was quick. For the service that he provided, his pricing was a steal! He gave us a tool where we can put our music requests and timeline which we found really helpful. He even created a slideshow for us for the dinner portion!
We used him for our ceremony as well. Our guests loved him; he played some instrumental hip hop while they waited for the procession to start. He made sure everything ran on time for the reception as far as speeches and dances. Our guests loved the photobooth and he kept them dancing all night. Our wedding had a diverse guest list due to my husband being Polish and me being Mexican but Jesse had everyone dancing. He even played some polka as a last minute request. We would highly recommend Jesse! You will not be disappointed.

We found DJ Persist on a recommendation from our photographers. They could not speak highly enough about him. He was fantastic. He was professional, timely, & he absolutely knows how to read a crowd.

Jesse was amazing! He was very responsive to all of our requests leading up to the day of the wedding. He helps you stay organized by setting up an events page where you can lay out the sequence of events. The night before the wedding, I made a last minute decision to do a first dance song with my mom while having a video of my dad playing on screen, and he made it happen flawlessly. Jesse (DJ Persist) had great communication throughout the entire process from start to finish. Danny was actually our DJ on our wedding day, and we had arranged to meet Danny and Jesse at the same time 2 weeks before our wedding. Both Danny and Jesse were very professional and they were fully equipped day of. Everything went very smoothly - names were pronounced correctly, the correct songs were played, and Danny read the crowed perfectly. We received tons of compliments on how amazing our DJ was. He was the DJ for my wedding, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. He was a recommendation from a friend, and we couldn't have been happier. He made the whole process up to the wedding super easy and relaxing. There were things that we just didn't know about that he asked us if we wanted and calmly explained them to us to get through the process. His website was super easy to navigate to make music requests and suggestions, and he even managed to get all the weird video game music we wanted for the ceremony and the reception!
On the actual wedding day, we used his speakers and microphones for the ceremony, lighting for the reception room, photobooth set up, and, most importantly, the actual DJ service. Everything looked gorgeous with the lighting, the ceremony went off without a hitch, the photobooth was amazing (His wife ran the booth the whole night! She was a delight!), and his DJing was the best!! There were points in the night that you literally could not fit more people on the dancefloor, and the guests at another wedding tried to sneak into our room to party!
Everyone we saw the next day wouldn't stop talking about how great the DJ was and how amazing the music was. You cannot go wrong with him!!

Jesse was our DJ at our wedding on 11/11/17, and was fantastic! Guests are still telling me how they didn't leave the dance floor all night! My biggest concern was making sure the evening moved smoothly and people would be able to start dancing as soon as possible. Jesse made sure that happened! He checked in with us throughout the evening and made sure things were on track. Jesse made sure to play all of our different requests, while also including our guests requests. Jesse was great!! He was very professional and his online tool made finding and requesting songs very easy. He had all the equipment needed for our outdoor ceremony and then everything for the reception. We didn't even ask for that many songs, we just spoke with him and let him know the type of music we wanted. When it came time for the reception, the music was spot on and everyone was dancing. We used DJ Persist (Jesse) for our wedding this past July, 2017 for our wedding. Since the very beginning he was so easy to work with and very responsive to emails and any questions we had for him. We met with him twice and each time he was courteous, professional and provided some good suggestions to help us out. On our wedding day, he arrived early to set everything up. He kept us on track by following the timeline that we created with him. With so much going on that day he was so helpful with reminding us about events, speeches and dances that we still needed to complete. He was running around making sure we were up to date on what was coming next. The entire time, he kept a professional attitude. Our dance floor was full at all times. DJ Persist was one of the key factors in making my much anticipated wedding day a success! His prices were very reasonable, he was very flexible and accommodating in the planning process, and more importantly he was very patient and extremely professional on the day of the wedding. He was pretty much in charge of taking the reigns for facilitating and being the official MC of the entire evening. DJ Persist made sure to contact us during the planning process and checked in with us to make sure we had all the details ready for the wedding day. We added his services for the ceremony last minute, and he had no problems helping us out! On the day of the wedding, he kept everyone in the loop and communicated efficiently with our other vendors. The wedding ran smoothly, as he helped MC the event as well. We knew it would be a tough task to keep all of our guests dancing as it was a good mix of different ethnicities and musical tastes. But, he pulled if off!! The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. Even we, the bride and groom, pretty much danced the whole night. Our guests did not have one complaint about the music, on the contrary, everyone praised his work. We will definitely be asking him to DJ if we have future events and we will recommend him to anyone that needs a DJ!! As a side note, he also provided Photo Booth services, and that was on point! Even Grandma got in on the fun! Thank you Jesse!

AH-MAZE-ING! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ company to work with than DJ Persist. From the start he was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He was attentive to our needs made sure to listen carefully about the type of experience we were trying to build for out guests! From their announcing, to making sure we were on schedule, everything ran smoothly. The dance floor was NEVER empty and the DJ transitioned flawlessly from genre to genre. We also got our photo booth from DJ Persist and it also great! The props, the backdrop, everything was beautiful! Will definitely be using them again for any of our next events! THE BEST DJ YOU CAN GET! Jesse is very easy to work with. We had our final meeting the week of our wedding and I joked, "no pressure, but you are the most important part of the day." And looking back, the music really was. It set the tone for the whole evening. Whether you have a $60,000 or $10,000 wedding budget, none of the extra things will matter if everyone is just sitting around. If I could give Jesse 10 out of 5 stars I would. He listened to what we wanted and delivered in every way. From my 70-something year old aunt complimenting our pre-cermony music, saying that it wasn't the usual stuffy music you hear, or to the fact that immediately following dinner the dance floor was packed until last call, Jesse played music everyone enjoyed and knew how to keep the party going. I cannot say enough good things! If we didn't have such a great DJ, the reception would have been just horrible. Weeks after the wedding we are still getting compliments from guests about how amazing the DJ was and that he was the BEST DJ at any wedding they had been to before ours.

DJ Persist did a phenomenal job to say the least! We had endless compliments of how he was able to bring different styles of latin music and top hits seamlessly together. We even had several waiters come up to us and say that they have never seen the dance floor as packed for as long! DJ Persist was very professional from start to finish. He did a great job at ensuring that everything we wanted happened! We even requested his photo booth which our entire party had a blast with! My husband and I would recommend him, hands down, for any event you would have. You will NOT be disappointed! Thank you for everything you did for us on our special night! We could not have asked for anything better!

DJ Persist was flat out amazing.

We found out about him at my wife's Barrister's Ball when she was still attending Depaul Law a few years ago. He had the entire room dancing all night so we just we went up to him and got his card. It was still in my wallet 2 years later, so we called him and set everything up. We decided to get married at a restaurant called Carnivale and rocked it!

His name is Jesse. He's very organized, VERY professional and VERY helpful. We told him what we wanted and he delivered with ease. He will offer tons of suggestions to make your wedding as special as possible and he didn't disappoint. In a sense, he kind of works as a day of coordinator to keep things on schedule. We LOVED him.

His cost was $1000 which was pretty good for his service. He doesn't charge for working over a few extra hours and his basic package includes his state of the art sound system, 2 wireless microphones (which one did temporarily stop working during me reading my vows but he made up for that with his service), access to this really cool website that allows you to create a timeline for your event, add music that you want to play or don't want to play, and set music to play at certain points during the wedding. We were so confident in Jesse that we paid him in full up front but he only requires I believe at least 25% deposit and the rest before or at your event.

We got nothing but positive feedback from our guests about him. One of our friends was shocked that he wore a tux because DJs typically don't do that. The music was the best hits of the 90s, early 2000s and whatever else we wanted to hear. There was even a woman there with a leg brace on that refused to sit down because the music and mixes were just so good! We'd definitely hire DJ Persist again and we are so glad we picked him. If you are contemplating, do it. You will not be disappointed!
