We had DJ Joe through this company for our wedding, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Joe was personable, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make our night special. He was friendly and easy to work with, always checking in to make sure everything was just how we wanted.
One thing that really stood out was how dedicated he was to our playlist. There were a few songs we requested that he didn’t have, he actually went out of his way to purchase the tracks so we could have every moment exactly as we imagined. That kind of attention to detail meant a lot to us.
The sound system was also fantastic—crystal clear, with just the right volume for every part of the night. Whether it was the ceremony, cocktail hour, or the full-on dance party at the reception, the music sounded great and the transitions were seamless. Everything played right on cue, which helped the whole evening flow perfectly.
We got so many compliments from our guests about the music and the atmosphere. If you’re looking for a DJ who genuinely cares about making your event memorable, we can’t recommend DJ Joe enough! -

DJ Paul was wonderful to work with and with several discussions on the telephone prior to the wedding, we went over all of the proper details. There is a client form to be filled out that has several named playlists and descriptions, which really helped us with organizing all of the music we wanted to hear. We created Spotify playlists that matched the named titles from DJ Paul and he confirmed how excellent and organized it was when we provided them all per his client form. We did discuss how we wanted some of the playlists played and when, and Paul also helped us review the vibes of each playlist and our dance playlist. He did add mixes of songs we had chosen and we had a dance floor with people the majority of the time. When something came up that adjusted the schedule, Paul was professional and able to adjust without any issue. There were some volume aspects for Cocktail Hour but was purely the speakers from the venue and Paul was able to also adjust for that. I would recommend DJ Paul Entertainment for anyone looking for an organized, stress free, and communicative Wedding DJ. -

Amazing Wedding Party!
I spoke with Paul and he was very helpful and polite during our initial interview. He was always easy to reach for questions. During the wedding itself he knew exactly what to play during the ceremony and the dance portion having an uncanny ability to read the crowd. The uplights were a major crowd pleaser and a must have. -

From our first interaction to our last, DJ Paul was responsive, flexible, easy to understand, thorough, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to work with. I did not have a traditional playlist and he gave me his professional opinions but said "you're the boss" and was willing to play whatever I wanted. Everything went perfectly and he killed it at my wedding! The glow sticks were also a hit! I couldn't have had a better DJ experience and would hire him again in a heartbeat. It is clear he takes his job very seriously. His number one goal is getting those guests on the dance floor and keeping them pumping all night. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed! -

DJ Paul was the best!! We're so happy he was part of the vendor team for our wedding earlier this month. From the very beginning, he was so communicative, responsive, and organized, and we loved how easy he was to talk to about the type of music and vibe we wanted for our big day. He had to do multiple setups because even though our ceremony and reception were at the same venue, the ceremony site itself was a little removed from where our reception was held. But he coordinated flawlessly with our planner, officiant, and ceremony readers to make sure all the audio went off without a hitch in an outdoor tree grove. Once the dancing got started, you could tell he was good at reading the energy in the room and picking the next song accordingly to make sure people stayed energized and on the dance floor all night. We loved working with DJ Paul, and would recommend him to anyone! -

We had the absolute pleasure of hiring DJ Paul for our June 2023 wedding and cannot recommend him enough! From the moment the music started playing until the last beat dropped, Paul transformed our wedding reception into an unforgettable celebration that had everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. Paul showed nothing but patience, professionalism, and attention to detail starting with our initial consultation and continuing through the conclusion of the reception. My husband and I agree that of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding, Paul was by far our favorite because he was so reliable and on top of everything. He shows genuine enthusiasm for his work, which really shone through on our wedding day. He was quick to respond to every email, call, and text leading up to the big day, and he was very thorough and attentive to details during our final meeting, assuring us we were in great hands. And he was incredibly patient and flexible with any and all changes we made throughout the process. What really sets Paul apart from DJs we've seen at other weddings is his charisma and ability to command a crowd. He effortlessly adapted music to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed, and on a Sunday night no less. Many of our guests told us later that they had planned on leaving early to get home at a decent time for work the next day, but they ended up staying through the entire reception because they were having too much fun. We cannot praise Paul enough for giving us a high-energy wedding reception with minimal stress leading up to it. His talent, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to create a high-energy atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, we wholeheartedly recommend DJ Paul for any occasion. -

DJ Paul is fantastic. He is very kind, thorough and flexible, and takes great care in his work. We have a more unique music style, and so were a bit lost when it came to getting some fun dance music ideas. But DJ Paul knew just what to do, and the dance floor was packed all night, from two year olds to my 87 year old Grandpa! He is really fun, and a great announcer. He made the celebration extra special, and we couldn’t recommend him more to the next couple! :) -

DJ Paul was tremendous. He was one of the vendors I did not need to worry about. He provided ample opportunities to submit playlists to him, review our wedding timeline, and make adjustments. He was available for phone calls whenever I requested them and was highly responsive via email. He was a pleasure to work with and kept the dance floor HOT!
Best of all, he was familiar with USNA venues. I did not need to worry about a thing. -

Paul was absolutely amazing! If you are considering hiring him, don’t even think twice! We got married on 10/28/2022 and hired Paul about a year prior to our wedding. Despite our wedding being a year away, Paul regularly checked in with us. When it came time to start planning Paul was extremely responsive! We had phone calls/e-mail correspondence and he was so great even when I made some last minute changes a few days prior to our wedding. Paul played our hand-selected playlists and filled in the time with excellent music that fit the vibe. Everyone stayed on the dance floor the entire evening! We could not have been happier with our experience. We still have family members commenting how much they loved our DJ! Do yourself a favor and hire Paul - I promise you, you won’t regret it! Our wedding was truly memorable and we loved having Paul being a part of our day! -

Paul is seriously the best. He was extremely professional throughout the booking process, planning and on our wedding day. He worked well with our day of coordinator and other vendors to ensure our day ran smoothly. We didn't know it was possible, but he played the perfect combination of Taylor Swift for me and emo hits of the 2000s for my husband. If you are looking for a DJ who personalizes his playlists and mixes to your preferences, DJ Paul is your guy. He kept the energy of the dance floor going all night and we received so many compliments on the day of and even for days after our wedding on our DJ. 1000% recommend DJ Paul to anyone in the DMV area! -

DJ Paul is an amazing DJ! My husband and I had DJ Paul for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. We gave him very open ideas for cocktail hour and dinner music and he nailed it! Months later and I specifically remember loving the music during dinner. Just the right volume. We also worked with DJ Paul to come up with ideas to ensure my mother and grandmother could hear well at the reception--they both have significant hearing loss. This is certainly hard to do as it requires announcements and speeches to be louder and music to be a little softer. We added an additional speaker and placed it right by their seat. My mom was able to fully enjoy the reception with 130 people because of this! The music for the reception was great! We had an amazing party and many guests made comments about how amazing our DJ was! You won't go wrong with DJ Paul. -

Look no further. My new bride and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than what we had with DJ Paul! Since this was a destination wedding, all planning was done via email and phone calls. Paul’s services went well beyond our expectations. From completing a questionnaire to developing a timeline for what to play at designated times and getting a good read and feel for our guests, Paul was on top of everything from set up to the last song. He followed the planned timeline to a tee with no glitches or surprises. Paul boasts that he gets people on the dance floor. I don’t know how he does it, but we had family and friends that I’ve known for fifty years and have never seen on a dance floor letting loose and shaking their bootie (and lots of other body parts). He would only take direction from my bride and me and tactfully denied song requests that were on our “Do Not Play” list. Staff working the event stated that they had never seen anyone entertain and enliven a crowd as much as Paul did. I caught several glimpses of some of them enjoying the music just outside the guest area. There is no doubt that I would hire him again in a heartbeat if I were to book another event in the DC Capitol Region. -

We used Paul for our wedding this July and throughly enjoyed him. He was very responsive and readily available to meet whenever we needed to. He gave us a detailed questionnaire to fill out before the wedding, which helped immensely when it came to our wedding timeline. The day of the wedding, we realized we had made a mistake about where we told him to set up. Paul was very adaptable by changing his location last minute and never skipped a beat. Paul is very passionate about what he does and it shows in his work. We knew that he genuinely cared about us and what we wanted for our wedding. He did a fantastic job and we’re very pleased with his performance. We highly recommend using him!

Hiring DJ Paul for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! He was amazingly accommodating, despite the fact that we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID-19. He never gave us any grief about having to make the changes, and really took the pressure off!
Beyond his accommodations, DJ Paul was so prepared I almost felt he was more on top of things than I was, while I was planning my own wedding! He responded to emails in minutes, guided us through a lot of the logistical details to prepare for a smooth wedding, and thoroughly reviewed our prep packages. The DJ is a make or break investment for a wedding - we have been to weddings where the entire reception is ruined by mispronounced names, lack of proper announcements for the reception events like cake cutting, and music that doesn’t get people dancing. With DJ Paul, we had no concerns about the wedding event.
The day of the wedding went amazingly smoothly - DJ Paul kept the dance floor completely full with parents, young kids, and everyone in between. We gave almost no guidance for the playlist we wanted, but DJ Paul was able to play music that appealed to everyone and kept the energy up the entire event. We had even more people than we expected up and dancing - so much so that we moved the sweetheart table to accommodate everyone! Many guests commented that he was the best DJ they remembered from any wedding they had been to. Even months later, the amazing flow and music that DJ Paul provided for our wedding is still a topic of conversation in our family.
Hiring DJ Paul made our postponement to our postponed wedding the best night we could have hoped for! We would choose him all over again. -

Mark Bryan from DJ Paul Entertainment is THE perfect DJ for your wedding!
While struggling to find a DJ for our wedding DJ Paul Entertainment was able to immediately set us up with DJ Mark Bryan (MarkBFresh) without issue. Mark met with us virtually and really took time to get to know our music style and preferences. He was super helpful and aided in the schedule and flow of our wedding day. What we appreciated most was his flexibility in catering to what we wanted for our wedding day. The day of the wedding Mark arrived to the venue early with everything prepared. When it was time to dance, he was AMAZING! This man filled up the three hours we set aside for straight dancing with every song that we asked to hear (plus requests) and even made songs that are difficult to dance to absolute bangers. Transitions were flawless and he played music that made sure the dance floor was packed from start to finish. I cannot tell you how happy we were with Mark Bryan, would recommend this company to anyone trying to have a good time. -

The whole process was pretty easy, he'll send you a form with everything you'd need to prepare for the big day and then goes over everything with you, very thoroughly. I knew within moments of speaking to him he was the right DJ for us. Not only did he make the wedding a blast, but he was immensely helpful, supportive, friendly, communicative and flexible throughout the whole planning process. He was a true partner to us and had many hourlong calls with my husband to ensure we were getting every detail down correctly. Paul did a FANTASTIC job DJ-ing our wedding!! Finding a good DJ was one of my top priorities while planning, as they make a huge difference to the experience of guests and the way the entire evening will flow. I did a ton of research and read so many reviews of various people and within 5 minutes of speaking with Paul on the phone I KNEW he was who I wanted. He was extremely responsive and thorough in ensuring every detail was exactly as I wanted it. I decided to leave most of the dancing music up to him (I had only had a handle of songs on the do not play list) and he did not disappoint. We were all dancing until the very end and had an absolute BLAST. There were so many guests who commented on how amazing he was, asking me how I was able to find someone so good. There were also many people who I never in a million years expected to be on the dance floor who had the time of their lives dancing, and I credit that to Paul. He truly evaluates the room and energy with different songs and chooses the next songs based on that. It was not a generic DJ with just a list of popular songs to play - Paul truly plays to the crowd and THAT is what makes him so great!!! We cannot thank him enough for all the hard work to make our day absolutely perfect! THANK YOU -

DJ Paul was everything we hoped for and more. Music was the most important part of the wedding for me and I interviewed more DJs than any other vendor. We hired Paul because he was the most professional, prepared and shared that he wanted to play what WE wanted (i.e. no DJ ego). And he played everything we wanted and seamlessly blended it with crowd favorites and guest requests. The dance floor was full from start to finish, and dozens of people told us it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding. I'd never seen anything like that, totally packed for 2.5+ hours. So much of that was due to DJ Paul. He was also a flawless MC and handled all the music of our ceremony & cocktail hour with ease. I would recommend him 1000%! Thank you Paul - we loved working with you!
