  McNeal Tarrant Wedding October 2022

  First, Mo is just a great person, but also, he is a fantastic DJ! He provided more than "just music" for our special day. Mo is a full service DJ, meaning he assists with music selection, but also assures that your event "flows" from beginning to end. He met with us by phone but also communicated via email and provided timely responses and suggestions. We received compliments regarding his service as some guests were surprised with how much our DJ interacted with the guests, we even played a cute newlywed shoe game. We look forward to working with Mo again!

  Ando Wedding 5-15-21

  Mo is an amazing DJ! He met with us twice before our wedding to make sure the music and flow of the night was exactly how we wanted it. Mo gave us some great wedding advice and tips at our meetings. He had everyone dancing/singing on the dance floor, outside on the terrace, and at their seats. He played all of the best current songs as well as old favorites. We have had many guests tell us how great our DJ was and that they want to use him for their future events. Thank you so much Mo!!

  Fantastic!

  Experienced his DJ and MC talent at a friend's wedding. Kept the dance floor full all night and made the flow of the evening so smooth! Very professional planner and very responsive with questions. Cannot wait to have him rock my reception!

  Awesome DJ & Host!!!

  Mo was awesome! He was extremely organized. He met with us twice to go over the details of the evening, the flow of the event as well as the music. He made great suggestions and became not just our DJ but also our MC. During the event he was extremely in-tune to our timing and energy level. He added announcements, games and music to keep the party going. We had chosen a very robust playlist but left him the artistic freedom to play to the room, and boy did he! Our guests had a wonderful night and our wedding is an event people are still talking about 6 months later. Thank you Mo!!

  Team Lewis wedding 2019

  My husband Shawn and I were married 6/22/19 and everything turned out beautiful!! DJ Illmatic met with my hubby and myself before the wedding and I write a testimony to all readers that everything he initially explained to us about his procedures for handling weddings came to pass. EVERYONE who has spoken to either myself or Shawn has said it was "one of the best weddings that they've been to"; the "DJ was great, he kept the reception live"; "who was your DJ he killed it" and on & on. DJ Illmatic helped make our special day phenomenal and memorable and we thank him from the bottom of our hearts 😍😍

  5 stars all around! We'll be booking DJ Illmatic for future events. He was interactive, totally on the ball for the music tastes we communicated, and extremely friendly! The games he played during our reception were unique and have had people talking for a week now! I highly recommend Mo, especially if you love contemporary music and want a fun DJ! My husband and I highly recommend Mo/DJ Illmatic, and like I said, we'll be booking him soon for other events!

  I threw my husband a surprise party for his 40th and booked DJ Illmatic. The music was great and due to him, we had so much fun at the party. I’d definitely recommend him for your next event!

He is professional and a delight to work with. He always maintained a positive and patient demeanor at all times. He rolled with the punches when we had to go with a rain plan. His style is energetic and engaging, he kept my guest entertained. We were also happy to have the band as part of our entertainment. Dj Illematic was right! It brought a new level of fun and energy to the reception.   DJ Mr. Illmatic was phenomenal!! We hired him for our May 2017 wedding. Prior to the wedding, we were impressed with his attention to detail and professionalism. This is a DJ who is talented in his skill set and knows how to DJ a wedding! He ensured us that if we trusted his craft, our reception would be awesome and he was so right!! Our guests raved about him during and after our wedding. The flow of activities, the energy, the music, the vibe- it was all perfect. We followed his lead and it was as perfect as he promised. He creates an experience. If you go with DJ Mr. llmatic, you will not be disappointed!

  Our wedding reception was fun and entertaining due to the services of Mr. Illmatic.
  He kept the reception flowing nicely with music and martial games he played with us and our guest.
  Prior to the reception he met with my husband and myself to plan out the timeline of the reception and to familiarize himself with who we were. He was very open to any changes or suggestions we had.
  Our guest continue to approach us and state they have never been to a reception like ours. Also they then proceed to ask for the name and # of our DJ.

He Dj'd the entire event, MC'd, as well as did several marriage games that brought on excellent crowd participation. To this day, (several months later), a ton of ppl are still complimenting his services and asking me about him. He is also very professional and worth EVERY PENNY!   I was disappointed that when we spoke I definitely wanted DJ Mr. Illmatic on the mic getting the crowd going and interacting, but when he arrived his mic was dead with no backup batteries . ( that was disappointing)
