  The Perfect Night

  I was referred to Mike through another DJ after we said we wanted someone who was able to mix music and make the reception more club-esque. Immediately hit it off after discussing our music taste and how we want the night to go. Mike had us work with his protege Tyler who gave us the perfect reception. Mike and Tyler are fantastic DJ’s and know how to keep the dance going and what it takes to get people dancing. I cannot wait to recommend them both and attend the next wedding they’ll be at.

  Fantastic DJ, highly recommend

  I booked DJ MN as I have seen his work at other weddings and had him as my first choice. Everything was very professional and more than I could have imagined with the results. He went above and beyond, kept everything running smoothly and on time. The packages he offers are very affordable for everything he offers. My wedding day would not have been nearly as perfect without DJ MN as my DJ. Would highly highly recommend for anyone’s wedding day or event!

  We started looking for a DJ a little late in the wedding planning game, but thanks to DJ Mike Nelson, he was able to move some things around for us and make it happen! And we're so happy he did, because through the whole process and last minute changes, he was incredible!!

  DJ Mike comes highly recommended from the Ferry’s! We had a very short 3 month engagement and wedding planning is not my thing. We were planning on our own googling what to do as we went along. I found a list of questions that sent sent out to a number of DJs thinking this was what I was suppose to do and they all write back sorry we’re booked or gave me no response. DJ Mike emailed back and answered every question thoroughly. We were so impressed we sent up a meeting right away. We already new by the answers he gave us that we wanted him as our DJ but after meeting with him we felt as though we were his only clients and that he for sure was going to give us the best night ever! And he did! Like I said before I was clueless about what I was doing for planning and in the end everything was perfect and we had so many compliments on the amazing DJ we had. He walked through it all with us was engaged in the who process and what we wanted and really made our night! We would hire DJ Mike one million times over! Thank you for helping make our wedding so perfect!

  DJ Mike was a dream to work with for our wedding. I was nervous to find a DJ given my husband and I have two very different tastes in music and style. Mike took our vision and created the most beautiful day for us & our guests. His ability to read and engage with the crowd was outstanding. He captured some of the best & funnest moments on video and created a snapshot we will watch and replay for FOREVER! There is hands down not a better DJ for your wedding or event other than Mike. He is the best in the business and exceeded all of our expectations by a long shot. We wish we could relive this day over and over again thanks to his services and special touches!

  Mike made sure we had the most perfect day. He went above and beyond what we asked of him and was so easy to work with! I’ve never had so many people compliment the music at a wedding, but I had SO many people go on about how great our party was thanks to the music and lighting!   Dj Mike is a rare diamond! Mike is not just a DJ....he is a lighting production genius. Mike was involved from the beginning to end of planning and executing my daughter's wedding. We used almost every service he offered (photo booth, the band (Bourbon Creek), DJ, Lighting, Cold Sparklers, Wedding Ceremony Sound Equipment, etc.). Mike has mastered the art of this business. More importantly he kept the entire wedding and reception on schedule which was very important to me. He is a class act and any couple lucky enough to get on his calendar for their wedding will have no regrets. I promise you it will be what your guests and you remember the most.

  Danced The Night Away

  Dj Mike Nelson was great to have dj our wedding ceremony and reception. He kept us danicng all night, which is exactly how I wanted the night to go! He has great lighting to go with his music. He is very easy going and knows what he is doing. Mike does a great job getting to know you and what type of music to play. Highly recomended!

  Mike was an amazing DJ and person to work with. He was there through all the ups and downs of planning our wedding during a world wide pandemic. He was amazing the day of the wedding and kept things moving throughout the day smoothly and the day went perfectly!

  DJ Mike Nelson was without a doubt the easiest piece of the wedding planning puzzle. I had 100% faith in him since the very first night we spoke on the phone. I trusted him to do what he does best and that’s exactly what he did. He also added a lot of fun suggestions that we didn’t think of to make our event a more fun experience. Everyone at our wedding loved what he was doing, and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen so many people stay out on the dance floor for so much of the night! I tend to be very particular about things and can be very detailed with how I want things and Mike was so easy to get along with. Save yourselves some headaches, hire him!

  DJ Mike was great! When our original DJ cancelled 2 days before the wedding, DJ Mike was miraculously available. He made it easy and stress-free for us. He was organized and detail-oriented. He was very accommodating to what we wanted and even went out of his way to contact a composer to purchase a specific song I wanted for the ceremony. He has a ton of experience, so he also was able to recommend things that we hadn't even thought of! We would highly recommend DJ Mike to anyone for their special day!

  Best wedding DJ

  Mike Nelson is an amazing dj and everyone that came to our wedding couldn't stop saying how much they enjoyed him and how he is the real deal. He keeps everyone on the dance floor and the lighting is amazing. He plays all types of music and keeps all ages going all night. We have been to lots of weddings and he is by far the best every time we leave a wedding we always say wow I'm so happy are dj was awesome because these other dj can't even compare to how good Mike Nelson is and good is an understatement!

  Mike Nelson is an amazing dj and everyone that came to our wedding couldn't stop saying how much they enjoyed him and how he is the real deal. He keeps everyone on the dance floor and the lighting is amazing. He plays all types of music and keeps all ages going all night.   DJ Mike was so helpful! Our night was perfect. Everyone had an amazing time & it showed. A few weeks before the wedding, he called to go over every detail of the reception so that he could facilitate and keep the evening moving. I didn’t know we needed that, but it helped our reception stay on track so everyone could enjoy themselves. I didn’t have to worry about a thing & he DJed in a way that everyone enjoyed.

  DJ Mike Nelson is a professional. You want someone with fresh ideas, nice equipment, and a great personality. This guy delivers. Not only can he DJ music to keep you and your guests entertained all night, you will find it really hard to leave the dance floor. The process leading up to our big day was effortless for us as he would work around our schedules. We had a video package for our first dance and it was absolutely perfect. He had a very special surprise for us as he somehow managed to get the MN Twins broadcaster Dick Bremer to introduce us into our reception!! Incredible!! If you are looking for your wedding DJ, look no further. DJ Mike Nelson is the man for the job!

  Look no further! I could not have asked for a better DJ than DJ Mike Nelson! He is so personal and easy to work with and you can tell his main goal to is to help make your day go exactly as planned so you don't have to worry about anything the day-of. Our dance floor was completely packed the entire night and the way he transitions between songs to ensure there is no down time is second to none to accomplish this. All of our guests had a blast and I received more compliments on our DJ than anything else throughout our whole day. The extras he provides also make him stand out against any other DJ's I looked into. He put slideshows together for us that played during all of our first dances that were so special to us and a great way to incorporate pictures of each of us growing up and our families without taking extra time away from the reception. He also went above and beyond and helped with the sound at our ceremony during the last minute, which was HUGE and helped prevent a lot of stress that day as well. He seriously helped make our day perfect, was so easy to work with, and I have not stopped singing his praises and recommending him to everyone I know. BOOK HIM ASAP. You will not be disappointed and you'll be getting compliments and people will be talking about how fun your wedding was for years to come!!!

  Added the extra touch to complete the day!

  Everything was great! Felt he went beyond his duty to help out and took care of things to keep some of the stress, of the big day, off of us. He was very good at keeping everyone entertained and on the dance floor all night. The videos for the first dances were on point and definitely added to our day!
