Mayner was fantastic to work with. We got married in Key West, while being from Georgia. Our outdoor wedding was unfortunately met with heavy rain. Mayner was extremely accommodating both for the outdoor ceremony, as well as the indoor reception, including a very quick transition between the spaces. He also helped to improve the lighting in the secondary space. His personality is great, and he really seems to enjoy what he does. We would recommend him to absolutely anyone looking for an event DJ! -

Our wedding reception wouldn't have been what it was if it weren't for DJ Mayner. He was very easy to work/communicate with and he delivered exactly what we were looking for. We had all ages at our wedding and he was able to keep everyone engaged the whole night. Some of our guests never dance at weddings and they were on the dance floor all night! I highly recommend Mayner for any wedding or event! Thanks for everything! You made our day truly special. -

The best dj
Mayner is the best!!! We had our wedding at cheeca lodge and we live out of state so once it got close it was so stressful but Mayner helped us out so much. My husband and I made a playlist on the way down to Florida and he had it done fast. My coworker said not to worry about the DJ because at her wedding they didn’t play any songs she picked. Not with Mayner!!! He played EVERY SONG we asked for. His timing was perfect and he dressed up nicely. He also has a great voice for announcement!!! 10/10 Thank you so much for making our special day PERFECT -

DJ Mayner is the BEST!!!!!
We couldn't be happier with our wedding DJ! From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, fun, and easy to work with. He took the time to listen to our music preferences and did a fantastic job personalizing our playlist, blending our recommendations perfectly with crowd-pleasers to keep the energy high all night.
He was also super attentive and organized, clearly experienced in managing the flow of a wedding—from the ceremony to the last dance. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing the music and timing were in great hands.
An absolute joy to work with—we truly can't recommend him enough. He helped make our wedding unforgettable! -

DJ Mayner was very easy to work with and made our wedding night so fun and special! From the beginning Mayner was responsive and flexible on timelines and how to communicate and share playlists, etc.! We had a few special requests for religious songs and group dancing and when to fade in/out of first dance songs that he handled perfectly! -

Together with serving as the wedding MC, DJ Mayner was the best! Thankful to Dream Bay Resorts to recommend. DJ Mayner can really "read the room"...with a smaller wedding (50 people), to keep the dance floor crowded was quite a task - and one that DJ Mayner rose to. He was awesome and had several guests asking for contact info for their next event. Reasonably priced, professional (timely) and fun! Highly recommend 10/10! -

TLDR at end.
Mere words in a review cannot describe how impressed we were with Mayner! We had looked everywhere in the Keys and Miami for a wedding DJ that wasn’t cheesy and could play our music in a club-like way that would make everyone want to dance with no awkward pauses or moments, and someone that wouldn’t talk between every song and make it weird. You’d be shocked how hard that can be to find. Mayner is exactly that, a club-style DJ with amazing wedding intuition and skills. He guided the whole day perfectly and helped create an experience beyond what we could have imagined!! We supplied the playlist, but he mixed and crafted it into his own thing and it was just simply perfect.
I just cannot stop raving about Mayner and how wonderful it was to work with him. He knew immediately what we meant by “corny,” in every sense possible, and gave us exactly what we wanted. I couldn’t possibly have found a better DJ to guide our wedding day!
TLDR; AMAZING club-style DJ that doesn’t take over the wedding day with his own voice, but knows when to speak strategically. He took our playlist and made it his own. SO SO SO HAPPY with Mayner! HIRE HIM NOW, you will not regret it! -

DJ Mayner was extremely pleasant to work with through the entire process. He was communicative from the beginning and did a fabulous job at setting the mood for our entire wedding ceremony and reception. To prepare for the event, he had previous sets available to listen to and various song lists grouped by genre to serve as inspiration. He is very organized, and gave clear guidance on what music selections we needed to make in advance. For the key moments throughout the night, he expertly transitioned between songs. He had guests up and dancing, and read the room to keep the mood upbeat and fun the entire time. Even the introverts in the crowd were up and grooving! Thank you Mayner for making this a day we’ll never forget! -

DJ Mayner was our wedding DJ in Dec 2024. DJ Mayner was absolutely wonderful! He provided resources to help curate music and the vibe we were looking for it we wanted to! Admittedly I am a procrastinator bride that LOVES less than mainstream music but Mayner was so receptive when I got two different lists over to him one for dinner and one for dancing! Maynor perfectly organized what I had put together and it was AMAZING! He built on our few short requests and thoughts for dancing and everyone LOVED it! SO great! Definitely hire DJ MAYNER! -

DJ Mayner was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He was very easy to reach and responsive leading up to the wedding, which made planning the music seamless. We loved the freedom to create our perfect playlist - from the processional to the final dance song. DJ Mayner really knew how to read the room and keep our dance party going all night long. Mayner exceeded our expectations for a DJ. he was professional, kind, and even went above and beyond to get creative to cover his equipment when it began to rain during the reception. We hosted a small beachside wedding (on one of the hottest May days Islamorada has seen!)! DJ Mayner was timely, professional, and prepared for our day! He provided the sound system so every guest could hear every word of our ceremony! He also selected the perfect tropical vacation vibe playlist to play for our reception dinner. And, at the end of the night...he played the groom's requested ACDC Thunderstruck as the last guests departed, and we were left to enjoy the final moments of our day! We couldn't have asked for more! -

BEST DJ for you event
There are not enough words for how much we loved working with Mayner! We live locally in the Keys, and we were looking to build the most fun team of wedding vendors for our special day. We wanted fun, communicative, professional, and all around good humans to surround ourselves with on our wedding day. Mayner is the epitome of who we were looking for. He is a wonderful human, and a very talented DJ. He was incredibly responsive, very flexible, and so fun to work with. He has a talent for choosing the perfect music for events. We hired Dj Mayner as a referral from our wedding venue. We honestly didn't know what we were getting when we hired him but for some reason I just had a good feeling. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I didn't leave the dance floor the entire time!! I couldn't stop moving because the music was sooo dang good!. We hired him the next day for our pool party as well and he crushed it!
Highly recommend, can't say enough great things about him! Thank you for making my wedding the absolute best!! My guests are still talking about how great my dj was! -

Amazing and professional
DJ Maynard was recommended to us thru a friend and after our first conversation we knew he was the guy to DJ our wedding. He has a vast knowledge of music and how to keep a dance floor going. We collaborated on a playlist that touched on every decade from the 1950s-2020s and he chose what songs would work best and at what time. DJ Maynard was polite, affordable, easy to work with, and DJs at a exceptional level. He was a huge part on why our wedding reception was such a hit, highly recommended. -

DJ Mayner was the perfect addition to my wedding! He is very easy to get in contact with and let’s you create your own plays lists as well as giving you many playlists and song choices to look through. I ended up mostly just telling him I wanted fun dancing reception music and he did not disappoint! The dance floor was full the entire night and everyone had a blast! Highly recommend!! -

Mayner was fantastic! We had our wedding at Pierre’s and were told Mayner was their in house DJ. I figured we couldn’t go wrong with who they recommended, and I was right! Mayner was always quick to respond to my emails. He sent us a list of songs to go through so that he could get a feel for the music we wanted to hear. He was also happy to play a few specific songs we requested. It was so important to me for my guests to have fun and DANCE. Mayner accomplished that! Everyone danced all night and had the best time. We hired Mayner for our Key Largo wedding 9/28/2019. From the initial contact to venue visits to determine the best set up, to event conclusion and everything in between, he was nothing short of amazing. He is very responsive, professional, fun and extremely talented. We and our guests danced the whole night long. I was intimated about picking music and making sure we had the right combo of old, new, upbeat and slow-paced songs. He made this process a breeze - sent the best recommendations with lists of all around top requested songs as well as top requested songs by decade. He made sure to incorporate all the music I had requested ahead of time in the most natural way as well as guests requests within the parameters we had discussed. From beginning to end, he kept the party going without a single lull. It was perfect. I cant wait to hear him play again at the Morada Bay Full Moon Parties! 10/10 would hire again! -

We were ecstatic with the performance of DJ Mayner at our wedding. He didn't just press a button and play cheesy songs like many wedding DJs out there have done. He really understood our style, which is not current or pop so knowledge was necessary. He mixed old song with modern beats or modern songs with old beats and it was INCREDIBLE. DJ Mayner is the most talented DJ I've been at an event with. I highly recommend him for your wedding. -
