DJ Kofie was my wedding DJ and he definitely delivered. During the planning process, he took the time to get to know the musical preferences of both me and my husband. If he wasn't familiar with certain songs, you'd never know because on the night of the wedding music was PERFECT. You could tell the music catalog was fine-tuned to exactly what we discussed plus more. Kofie was also extremely respectful and honest when reviewing songs, and his feedback was appreciated.
I highly recommend this energetic, adaptive, and eclectic DJ for your weddings and events!! -

Coming up to my 3rd anniversary and reminiscing on all the moments that made our day special - one of them was our DJ - DJKofie!!! He was very attentive to our wishes - what we wanted our day to look like and sound like! No lewd music, very respectful and his experience across the genres and his selection based on the sample songs we provided was perfect. He was sooo versatile and interactive - even had the older folks up and on their feet dancing. He was a WHOLE VIBE! We couldn't have asked for a better Vybe Master.
Last thing that made him special to me - I couldn't decide which song I wanted to sing to my husband, but finally decided on the day before the wedding. Then I couldn't find the karaoke version of the song I needed. I was in a tizzy! I reached out to Kofie, hoping he could help and BOOM - there he had it and came to my rescue!

DJ Kofie was the DJ at our wedding on October 1, 2025. I am Haitian American, and my husband is Nigerian, and DJ Kofie truly went above and beyond to make our day extraordinary. He took the time to understand our vision and did his own research to seamlessly blend old-school Haitian and Nigerian music with new-school sounds, creating an unforgettable experience for us and our guests.
As a bride, wedding planning can be extremely stressful, but working with DJ Kofie put us completely at ease. Despite my very tight schedule, he made sure we had time to meet and thoughtfully discuss the songs for our wedding. He was easy to work with, kind, and highly professional throughout the entire process.
He also captured our night with beautiful reels, which we truly enjoyed watching and reliving. We are so grateful for his dedication and would highly recommend DJ Kofie to anyone looking for an exceptional DJ.

Kofie was professional from the beginning and although we were booking him from overseas and were a little anxious at first, after our zoom meetings, he put us at ease and just understood our vision and the vibes we were going for our wedding. Our wedding itself was nothing short of a fairytale, but DJ Kofie brought all the vibes! Not only did he cater to us newlyweds, but he made sure everyone else was entertained. DJ Kofie is Absolutely Anazing
His level of professionalism extends beyond the dance floor. He took the time to get to know me as an individual, understand my vision for the party and find out about the demographics of my guests. He even suggested items that I hadn’t planned on like, an entrance, a program and games in case we needed it. He respectfully challenged some suggestions based on his experience and he was absolutely right. I purchased his DJ and hosting services and it was the best decision ever. Kofie went above and beyond my expectations. He got the crowd going from beginning to end. He imbedded himself into the function seamlessly. He made it fun. His energy was infectious. He skillfully came from behind the dj booth and was one with the party. Kofie is pictured in the striped shirt and tan pants. He even adhered to my dress code. His timing was perfect. I loved him and my guests loved him as well. He was perfect for my 60th milestone birthday celebration. We all wanted to know if he did parties in Canada and if we could carry him back with us. lol.
Filling out his intake form is so important. He incorporated everything I wanted and surprised me with the precision of his mixes with my suggestions. I was moved when he played my favourite song in the world as the last song. I knew then why he asked that question on the form as it didn’t mix with the other genre of music I selected. But then it just wrapped my party up in a bow perfectly.
I cant’t say enough about DJ Kofie as he’s the best I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend him and wish I have another party I can use him for. -

Kofie was amazing from when we first secured his services, and right up until the day of our wedding! Kofie literally made our dream come true in terms of the energy and vibes on the dancefloor. He did the impossible in truly making both sides of the family (Jamaican + Zimbabwean) come together and having an incredible time celebrating the day! Kofie even personally brought the energy and led the whole crowd in dance moves that just amped up the fun even more.
Prior to the event, Kofie literally spent 2 hours with us going through all the songs to be played on our wedding day, just to make sure he was getting the right "feel" of what we wanted on our day - we cannot say enough regarding how amazed we were with Kofie's service! -

Where do we even begin with Kofie? After browsing several DJs in the area, we kept coming back to him—he had THE VIBE! From our very first meeting, the chemistry was there; my husband and I felt like we were talking to a friend. He gave us complete confidence that he could deliver an unforgettable experience at our wedding—and he absolutely did!
Kofie brought the party and never let a dull moment slip in. He studied our music list, understood our vision, and delivered beyond expectations. But what left us completely speechless was his attention to detail during the speeches. As our guests spoke, he listened intently and, at the perfect moment, seamlessly dropped a song that matched the energy of each speech. It was so flawless that we genuinely thought he had coordinated with our guests beforehand—but no, it was all Kofie! That level of artistry and intuition made our special moments even more magical.
For our first dance, we had a mashup, and not once did Kofie make it complicated or difficult. Instead, he simply said, "I got this," and once again, he delivered! Our music was a perfect mix—eclectic and full of energy—blending R&B, hip-hop, salsa, reggaeton, rock, soft rock, pop, reggae, dancehall, and even Mexican music. It was all over the place, yet he made it work effortlessly, creating a flawless experience that kept everyone on the dance floor.
One of the most touching moments was when he played a special song we requested for my son and daughter-in-law so they could recreate their first dance. Not only did he play the song, but he also gathered the crowd around them, making it such a priceless and unforgettable moment.

If you are looking for a DJ, there is no need to look any further. There were so many amazing parts of my wedding, but having Kofie as our DJ is at the top of our list. I started following DJ Kofie on social media and loved his energy and I knew I wanted him for our wedding. Then we had our first virtual meeting to go over our song list and it confirmed to us that he was going to be one of our favorite vendors. My husband has been pretty behind the scenes during our vendor meetings but in this meeting, Kofie kept him talking and participating throughout the entire meeting. Kofie gave us song choices and mixes that worked so well for each part of the program. He isn’t a “press play” DJ, he is a musical mix artist!
The day of our wedding, Kofie was prompt and professional. We had a slight change to our ceremony space due to weather and Kofie jumped right into action, scaling the walls and window sills to set his equipment up in the right spot. He played all of the right versions of our song choices and the ceremony flowed seamlessly. Our guests came from different backgrounds, cultures and age groups and I have to admit, I was worried about how that would work music wise. But DJ Kofie knew how to read the room and he was able to play something for everyone and had all of my guests on the dance floor during the cocktail hour and dinner and dance reception. Last minute, I requested the clouds for our first dance and it was absolutely beautiful. Kofie's suggestion to use two machines created a stunning effect and matched the vibe that I was looking for. Towards the end of the night, I told Kofie that we wanted to feel like we were in college again and DJ Kofie really brought the energy! We turned up with our guests and we had an amazing time. As we reminisce, my guests are still talking about the music and how we had the most fun wedding…and that is all thanks to Kofie and our other vendors. He worked well with our MC and our guests were dancing and singing along all night long! By the end of the night, Kofie felt like family to us and I am so thankful for him and how he made our wedding so memorable! Book DJ Kofie and you will not regret it! -

I must say I was SUPER skeptical in the beginning. He had an extensive worksheet to complete, and we did an hour-long consultation BUT IT WAS ALL WORTH IT. Amazing- the best to do it!
I cant say enough about DJ Kofie the night was absolutely breathtaking!! The vibes were PERFECT. From literally start to finish ( and more ) as even when the venue was closing he still was pulling the vibes!! All families and friends were so United by the music choices. A party was had!
I hired DJ Kofie for one of my destination wedding couples from what I saw on social media. Their goal was to TURN UP and that is what I saw from his social media so I wanted to give him a try.
First and foremost it POURED on the wedding day. Thankfully the reception was under a tent so everyone could remain dry, but getting to the tent was another story. Dj Kofie was pretty much soaked while he was setting up the equipment. When I went to him to say hello, he did not give off the slightest bit of annoyed or negative energy. He was so engaged with everyone and set the tone for the whole night!
Kofie played for the grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, youngins… EVERYONE. He is an amazing DJ and Royal Destinations will be sure to hire him again for all of our Jamaica destination wedding couples. Hire DJ Kofie if you are having a wedding in Jamaica.

Dj Kofie is a timely, reliable, professional, considerate and an energetic DJ! He knows how to get anyone from an infant to your grandmother dancing. My wedding was at the Trident Castle and it was a diverse bunch of people and they all had a blast from ceremony to the after party. Kofie gives the same energy for a small occasion as he would for a large occasion.
He not only DJs but does uplighting, cloud effects and gives great recommendations for various wedding vendors.
My brother and cousin used his services for their wedding, so I had to have Kofie at my wedding.

When My husband and I were planning our wedding, we had selected a friend to be our MC thinking that would be the best decision. Fast forward to a couple weeks before our big day, that person canceled on us and we were panicking and scrambling to find the right replacement. Our wedding planner suggested Kofie and it was the BEST DECISION EVER!!!
EVERYBODY keeps asking if he knew us because of how seamless it was! It was very fun, engaging and entertaining! DJ Kofie had meetings with us and really listened and created the exact vibe we wanted. He had very good suggestions for reception activities. Our sound clash was the talk of the event.

The music at our wedding was fantastic! It was the right balance of songs we requested and for those we didn't have special selection for,how Dj Kofie improvise it was spot on and definetly kept the ambiance on a high energy paste. What can I say about DJ Kofie? Well let’s say I had solicited several other DJ/emcee services and they were either slow to respond, had ridiculous prices and wanted to get payment before providing consultations etc. or just didn't seem able to connect with the requirements. Then came DJ Kofie. Working with him was smooth; he responded promptly to my questions, was available for conference calls to discuss the proposed playlist and spent time to understand the expectations for the pace and mood of music to be played -including the must haves vs. nice to have songs. On the day, he was able to seamlessly multitask as emcee and DJ and coordinate a smooth transition from a live band that played the initial portion of the ceremony. Noteworthy is that he took the time to familiarize himself with the venue so we could align on a setup location and on the big day when the event lagged behind the initially planned timeline, DJ Kofie was innovative and able to still entertain the guests, meet requirements regarding must have songs to play at critical moments example 1st dance last dance garter removal belt and throw in a surprise during the cake cutting ceremony. I would recommend that DJ Kofie in the near future is able to accept credit card or PayPal payments as these additional payment options would facilitate a seamless sign off. Would hire again for another event -perhaps our anniversary party. -

Dj Kofie was excellent . He was easy to work with and he asked me what I invisioned for my wedding. I wanted my guest engaged at all times. We worked together to pick songs that my groom and I liked. He was very professional and provided us with a worksheet that gave him an idea of our guest and the type of wedding reception that would appeal to all our guest. Dj Kofie did not disappoint us, he was lively and entertaining. Many of my guest and even the hotel staff told me it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Trust me if you want to have your guest smiling anf partying all night long go with Dj Kofie. The go to Dj for your destination wedding! P.s he also played our selected music for our ceremony which set the perfect mood for the ceremony. -

We had an AMAZING experience with Kofie, one we will never forget. Even today whenever someone mention our wedding they would ask, "weh di big bad DJ name again? The man bad man, him full a vibes!" (loool)
Everything was a smooth sail, from start to finish...he was very responsive to emails, diligent in getting the task done and was most definitely the BEST person we could have chosen to celebrate our BIG DAY!

DJ Kofie is absolutely fantastic at what he does. He is extremely responsive, professional and energetic. He truly listens to the type of music you want and plays it. He is on time and his set up is absolutely beautiful. He also provides uplighting at an affordable cost too!
He gets your guests moving, and best believe he'll sometimes be dancing in the middle as well. I got married in July 2019, and the dance session of my wedding was the best part to me. If you want to choose a DJ who will not add stress to your day, choose DJ Kofie, you won't be disappointed. -
