We were told there are two things that can make or break your wedding: your DJ and your photographer. We hit the jackpot with both — especially with DJ Kelly!
Kelly first impressed us when we called to book her. My wife (fiancé at the time) had already done her research and loved what she saw on Kelly’s social media, but once we actually spoke to her, we knew right away she was the one. From that moment, every step of the planning process became easier thanks to her guidance and professionalism.
Before the big day, Kelly helped us map out a detailed play-by-play for the ceremony and reception — everything from timing to microphone setups for me, my wife, and our pastor. But, as weddings often go, the plan went out the window once my lively Hispanic family jumped in and mixed things up! Any other DJ might have been stressed, but not Kelly. She rolled with the punches, adapted instantly, and kept everything running smoothly like a true pro — calm, confident, and completely in control.
Her range of music was incredible — she had everyone on their feet all night long! Even the kids ran in from outside just to dance when their song came on. Every single guest felt included and part of the celebration.
Kelly, thank you so much for making the most important day of our lives unforgettable. You went above and beyond, and we’re endlessly grateful.

When I tell you that Kelly is the best, I wholeheartedly mean it! She always has a bundle of energy, is the life of the party and is never one to shy away from a challenge. What I mean by that is I had minimal confidence that the dance floor would be busy as our crew is rarely a dancing crew. That floor was ALWAYS busy whenever I looked over. Kelly is truly the best at getting (and keeping) the dancefloor alive and playing the best music ever. We love Kelly and know you will too; BOOK HER!!! -

DJ Kelly Hooper provided mics for my ceremony and MC’d and kept the vibes going all night for my wedding in May! She was FANTASTIC! We got so many compliments from guests about her ability to keep the dance floor going all night. Her music selection, personality, professionalism and communication throughout the whole process and on our big day was exceptional! If I could over her 10/5 stars I would! Absolutely GREAT! -

Kelly was the DJ for my wedding in June. We truly could not have found a better DJ! I found her from recommendations on a wedding Facebook group (like seriously, probably 10+ people had recommended her) and I am so glad we followed through with choosing her for our special day. She was attentive, flexible, and was so helpful on the day of our wedding. I had heard horror stories about other DJs messing up certain songs at other people's weddings, but DJ Kelly executed everything so perfectly- from the ceremony to the reception- everything was just as we had hoped! She was so great about checking on us throughout the day, making sure we were happy and always asking if we needed anything. We got so many compliments from guests saying how much fun she was and how much fun they had dancing to the music she played. If we were to do it all over again, I would still choose her again in a heartbeat! You won't regret using DJ Kelly for your wedding or event, I promise! -

DJ Kelly!! Amazing individual with ecstatic, contagious energy, that got the room up and dancing all night at my wedding ! She spent a lot of time working with me to make sure she had everything I wanted for my special day, and she KILLED IT!! Very flexible, and will listen to all your wants and needs.. After learning about her father in law passing the morning of my wedding,I I i knew Kelly was truly a dedicated hard worker who does not want to disappoint. From the first inquiry to the last song of our wedding, I could never imagine recommending another dj to use for any occasion. From working with us on our playlist, nailing down our intros, and his interaction with our family and friends throughout the night, we really couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Kelly was so thoughtful and TREMENDOUSLY fun throughout the entire process....and as any bride to be knows, it is a PROCESS! If you are looking for high energy, great vibe, and a human that you’d actually want to be a guest at your wedding, then Dj Kelly is your girl!!! She made the wedding so much fun and she even came down to the chapel and brought us a drink after we said “I do”! Look absolutely no further for the best DJ ever! Not just in DFW, Kelly traveled all the way to New Orleans to make my wedding day the best day! There are not enough words to describe how special Kelly made me and my guests feel, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I unexpectedly lost my father a week before my original wedding date, and Kelly did everything in her power to make sure she was available for the rescheduled date. She also made sure there was enough love and joy in the room to fill the void that everyone was feeling- there's no time to be sad when Kelly is around! I cannot recommend her enough!! -

Kelly was absolutely flawless in every way!!! From the moment she got to the venue, you could feel her energy and she embraced everyone as her friend.
She knew exactly the vibe we were going for and every little detail and request was handled so effortlessly. I even threw her (and myself) a curveball when I decided last minute to cancel the bouquet toss so we could keep the party going, but she didn’t even bat an eye and kept the music going. SO many people have told us they couldn’t remember the last time they had that much fun. Even the older crowd was getting down!
All this to say, picking Kelly to be our DJ was one of the best decisions we made throughout this entire process. -

Seriously look no further Kelly is your DJ. From booking to the day of the wedding she was simply the easiest person to work with and was very responsive! Kelly was absolutely amazing!!! I first met her at our venue’s open house and loved her personality SO MUCH I didn’t even “shop around”! I knew she was our DJ before we left the open house!
Not only did she make sure everything we wanted was done the way we wanted it she interacted with our guests as well!! She’s extremely professional and beyond personable!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!!! I don’t think I can put into words just how INCREDIBLE DJ Kelly is and the impact she had in making our wedding day unforgettable! We met Kelly in November 2019 when she DJ’d our friends wedding, and my then boyfriend and I walked out knowing we would hire her for our wedding one day. Fast forward to November 2021 and it was one of the best decisions ever! Kelly is not only kind, compassionate and extremely professional, but she made you and everyone feel like you have known her for years! She took everything my husband and I wanted in a reception, ran with it and DELIVERED far greater than what we could’ve imagined!! The dance floor was the best party of our lives. Hands down. Best. DJ. Ever!! Kelly was one of the best vendors we had for our wedding day. DJ Kelly is your ticket to an amazingly fun wedding! She is so fun and energetic. Right away, it felt like she knew us and what we wanted out of our wedding. We had an absolute blast on the dance floor. And I know that she was a huge reason for the entire wedding to run as smoothly as it did. She also organized a private-ish last dance for us, while our guests were getting ready for our sparkler exit. That dance away from everyone was so special to us. The Best DJ in DFW
DJ Kelly Hooper is absolutely amazing !! We hired DJ Kelly for our wedding to play music during the ceremony and reception. Since the moment we met her, she was attentive and super helpful in getting the music organized as we had envisioned. She also had lists of suggested songs for different parts of the wedding ceremony and reception. if you sometimes have a hard time deciding on songs, this is super helpful! For the mother and son dance, DJ Kelly helped us make a mashup of different songs for a coordinated dance we had planned. She made the mashup of songs into one songs and sent it to us to preview before the wedding so that we could practice at home! This was extremely helpful for us. The lighting setup during the first dances and party afterwards were setup exactly as we had envisioned. On top of all of this, we had many Argentinian friends and family attend the wedding. DJ Kelly worked with me to get the playlist of Spanish songs we wanted to play and she absolutely killed it during the after party. All the songs were on point, she did the perfect mix of songs, switching from Spanish to English every once in awhile. I really can’t stress enough how wonderful DJ Kelly was, and how thankful we are for everything she did to help us get those aspects of the wedding taken care of. -

Kelly did a fantastic job as DJ and MC at our wedding! In the prep stages, she spend a lot of time with me going over song choices for the ceremony to make sure that they were exactly the right version. The day of our wedding she kept everything running really smooth and on-time. She kept the dance floor rocking all night at our reception- she is amazing at reading the room and seems to magically know what the crowd wants to hear at any given moment. She even got my grandma to boogie! She played all the songs we requested (even the weird obscure ones) and I am still getting compliments on how much fun everyone had! Kelly made me feel very at-ease on what could have been a very stressful day. She is so sweet and obviously cares a lot about her couples. She made a lot of effort to check in with us before the ceremony and during the reception to make sure we were having a good time. I highly recommend booking with DJ Kelly for your next event!

Music makes or breaks a Wedding! Our number one priority when we got engaged was making sure that we had a DJ that would create the right atmosphere on our big day. From the moment we met Kelly we knew that we had picked the right person. We cannot say enough about how much we loved Kelly! She was absolutely amazing from the second we met her. Throughout the planning process, Kelly was there to answer any questions that we had and to help us choose music for each part of the wedding. When our big day arrived, Kelly arrived early to set up and to make sure that everything was taken care of. She consistently checked in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. She kept the flow going and made sure that our wedding was seamless. OH. MY. GOD. Kelly was SO amazing to us from start to finish. We asked our photographer if she had any recommendations for a fun DJ that could turn our wedding into the biggest party ever and she recommended DJ Kelly Hooper. Kelly blew us away! The dance floor was never empty and a ton of our guests were gushing the next day about how much they loved our DJ.
At our first meeting, she was incredibly fun and bubbly, but also very professional, and we clicked instantly. Leading up to our wedding, she was super helpful and wasn't afraid to give us some gentle yet honest feedback on our timeline, and we are so glad that she did. My husband and I leaned on our vendors to give us a lot of guidance throughout the whole process, so this was a really important quality to us. On our actual wedding day, Kelly arrived as soon as the venue opened up and was making sure, first and foremost, that I was taken care of. She brings her own setup that is super sleek so you don't have giant big black speakers in the background of all of your photos. Kelly was a perfect emcee throughout the night and kept everything flowing smoothly and had no problem keeping everyone dancing. Even our wedding coordinator was telling us that we had one of the craziest dance floors she had seen in a long time!
I honestly cannot think of a single negative thing that we could possibly say about Kelly. If you are looking for a party, Kelly is your girl! -

Kelly is incredible. Let me list the ways.
1. She showed up on time and [poof] she was set up and ready.
2. We met before and she incorporated every song I even *vaguely* mentioned was a favorite or meant something to a friend/family member
3. One of my college friends asked me if I sat down and curated the whole list myself. NO. Kelly is just super in sync (and 'n sync will be played if needed) with all her customers - after one meeting, I knew I could check "worry about entertainment" off my list.
My photographer asked me what types of photos I wanted and I told her. "Candid. I just want to see people having a great time." She responded, and I quote: "If your friends don't have fun with Kelly has your DJ, you need new friends." I COULDN'T AGREE MORE.
Kelly was hands down one of the best decisions Andrew and I made for our wedding day. -

Where to begin?... We'll begin with the fact that Kelly is amazing! She was one of the most essential pieces of my wedding! I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through the entire wedding process without her.. I was totally clueless on how to plan a wedding! From the moment we first spoke on the phone I knew I was going to love her! Then the second I met her at our first meeting I instantly felt like I’d met a long lost friend! She knew exactly what I was looking for and wanting before I could even say it. Each meeting and text (and believe me I texted A LOT) she always treated me (us) like one of her most important clients. She went out of her way to research beautiful instrumental versions of songs we wanted... And the work she did made the choosing hard because I wanted them all! She helped give me tips and ideas and referrals for every aspect of putting the wedding together. After months of planning it was finally our big day... She arrived at the venue and set up before I even arrived. She came to visit while we were all getting ready and made sure I had everything I needed. She helped with last minute items and made special deliveries for me to my husband to be. She helped direct guests and had music going to set the ambience as guests arrived. She made me feel like the most special bride there ever was! The timing of each song during the ceremony was perfect and made the experience that much more beautiful and emotional! Still to this day I will play the ceremony playlist and get teary eyed! During the cocktail hour she kept our guests happy and entertained while we took pictures. She knew exactly how to keep the whole event going seamlessly; including helping to release tables during the dinner hour. The whole day/night was such a blur, but what I remember most was how she mingled with our guests by talking to them and even getting on the dance floor and dancing with us all.. Especially during line dance songs so that everyone had an example of the moves! She truly was such a pleasure and I will never forget how she made our day that much more special! I will end this in saying that my top 2 priorities were music and photography... She blew my wedding away with her art and generosity! I definitely made the right choice by choosing her and so will anyone else that makes the same decision!

Kelly is everything you want in a DJ – great energy, really caring, listens to what you want, outgoing, and FUN – she has truly found her calling. From the very first meeting we had with her, she took charge and I could tell that we had made the right decision. All night long she made sure we were happy and everything was going like we hoped. She helped me to coordinate all the entrances and all the hard things I had a hard time with. She helped us by suggesting songs and listening and really understanding our varied taste in music. She is great at reading a room and making sure everyone is having fun!
After attending several weddings in the past year with no DJ or live music, just a playlist and a dad with a speaker and many mishaps, it is so apparent to me how difficult her job is and how amazing Kelly is at doing it. All the music, speeches, and announcements were so seamless and without mishap – haha!
Seriously, we are so happy with everything she did. I cannot normally just let go & let things happen and I was able to during my reception because of Kelly – I knew she was taking care of the timeline and that everything was going great! We were so so happy we was able to enjoy everything and have no stress! We LOVED our wedding and Kelly was such a huge part of that.
On top of everything else, she captured some pictures and videos that no one else did and that have tied us over until getting photos back from our photographer!

Kelly is INCREDIBLE! Before I even got engaged, I knew I had to have Kelly as our DJ. Kelly and I met at a wedding in 2013 in which she DJed and I was the photographer. We became fast friends, and have worked several events together. I’m always impressed with her enthusiasm, upbeat personality, and willingness to go above and beyond. Kelly IS the life of the party, and she will make you want to get on the dance floor and shake yah tail feather! Her knowledge of music and FUN knows no limits, and she will do whatever it takes to make her clients happy! I wanted a non-traditional wedding ceremony with rock music, and it turned out phenomenal. Kelly really incorporated our personalities into our ceremony and reception music, and kept the dance floor packed all night long! I can not recommend her enough!!! -

Kelly was the DJ for our wedding and she was AWESOME!!!! First time I met her, we hit it off instantly. Great personality, very outgoing, high energy and tons of fun.....which is what you want in a DJ. She checked in with us during the planning process, gave me tips, and made us feel like we were the only wedding she had. If you check out her social media, the woman is busy!! But she always made us feel like a priority, she was never distracted, and she was so detail oriented! There were things I said to her in passing that she remembered and used on our day.....specific songs, reasons for the songs and special shout outs. There were times during the reception that I said “how the heck did she remember that?!? I mentioned that months ago!!” When it came to the music, she played songs we really wanted to hear, she stayed away from the “Do Not Play List” and read the crowd to make sure the dance floor was always packed.....which it was! Instead of slamming alcohol all night, I was slamming water because of all the dancing 😆 Not to mention, she captured some video and pictures that no one else caught. She wasn’t just our DJ, she was a friend who just wanted to make us happy. I highly recommend her! Best decision I made!! Thx again Kelly for everything! You made our wedding so memorable and SO MUCH FUN!!! ❤️😘 -

If you are considering a DJ for your event or wedding and are looking at DJ Kelly Hooper, just stop and hire her! Seriously fill out the contact form and DO IT. You will not regret your decision. She is amazing and wonderful and everything you could want or hope for in a DJ! My wife (yay, I can say that now!) and I hired DJ Kelly Hooper for our wedding ceremony and reception. We originally met her at a Brides and Brews event in Wylie. From the start we knew we wanted to hire her. She is super welcoming of everyone (LGBT!) and immediately makes you feel relaxed and at ease. Talking with her you’d think that you’ve known her forever. Book her early because she is in demand! Check out her Instagram and you can see she always has some fun event going on and everyone is smiling and having a great time!
Now for the nitty gritty, DJ Kelly Hooper has a very streamlined booking process. Contact her, fill out her contract (very straightforward), pay half up front, pay remaining half before the event. Now a PSA for DJs: if you think your iPhone’s playlist or Spotify can replace a DJ? No, just no. DJ Kelly does so much more than just play music. She is a master of ceremony, she keeps the tempo of the wedding going. She seamlessly transitions from one part of the wedding or song to the next. She does this for a living and her professionalism and passion for what she does is clearly self-evident. Nothing against bands, but I’ve been to a bunch of weddings. They are usually super loud and hard to dance to. If you want a fun party like atmosphere where your guests dance and have a great time a DJ is the way to go, specifically DJ Kelly Hooper.
A few weeks before the wedding DJ Kelly Hooper contacted us and met us in person. She gathered information about how we wanted our wedding to flow, what was the timeline, what music did we like, what music did we hate, etc. One the day of the wedding Kelly showed up super early ready to jump in and help with whatever she could. I’m telling you she helped set up tables, greeted guests, put finishing touches anywhere she could to ensure our day was perfect and it was. I cannot thank her enough for all that she did. She truly went above and beyond. She knew we didn’t have a wedding coordinator and were very DIY so she helped us immensely!
Sorry if this review is long and winded but we can’t thank DJ Kelly Hooper enough for all that she did at our wedding. She is fantastic and wonderful and you will not regret hiring her! We truly appreciate everything she did for us and will not forget her. Thank you Kelly!

DJ Kelly came to us as a recommendation by the best man, who was in the music industry. Her pricing was fair and she absolutely made our wedding night. She is sweet, personable, fun, brilliant and knows how to throw a party. Our music was flawless. Everyone loved the songs and the night was more magical and perfect than I could have dreamed. Hire her, hire her, hire her. You will not regret it. She is worth every.damn.penny. -

We had our dream wedding this past weekend and it wouldn’t have been the same without Kelly! She kept the dance floor packed all night. The music was one of the best parts of the night and 3 days laters I’m hearing people talk about how great the music and dancing was. Our wedding was untraditional in the sense that it joined two different cultures. Kelly was able to mix in traditional Albanian music flawlessly and keep the dance floor packed while doing so. We hired Kelly for the reception only but she still showed up several hours before the ceremony to make sure that not only was she set up and ready to go, but that I was taken care of. She even stayed with me to make sure I was calm and ready to walk the aisle. Kelly is truly an amazing DJ but even more importantly an incredible and kind person. She’s so much more than just a DJ. You can go wrong with hiring DJ Kelly Hooper! -

She is joyful and an easy going gal who makes you feel confident in her abilities and delivering what you want and need!! Music is so important at weddings! I had multiple guests tell me after how great the DJ was—one even told me, “there’s hardly ever a wedding I go to where I feel the need to get up and dance to EVERY SONG!” Which I think is a huge compliment!!

Kelly is fantastic and very reasonably priced! She communicates promptly and wants to make sure she understands your music tastes and desires. We met a couple of times in person before the wedding, and she responded quickly to text messages and emails. Kelly is energetic and interacts with the crowd, moving throughout the room and dancing with guests. She also facilitated a bride and groom trivia game during cocktail hour, the "shoe game", and the traditional anniversary dance. Many people asked about her services during and after the wedding because she did such a great job. We highly recommend her!
