We had a smaller wedding at Humphrey’s by the Bay with only 35 guests and at first we didn’t plan to hire a DJ. We are so glad that we changed our mind and hired Justin! Even with a smaller group there were so many logistics he handled that we hadn’t even thought about, and it made the day run so smoothly. We loved getting to choose favorite songs for him to play at key moments through the ceremony and reception, and he did a great job of mixing in a little of everything to get our guests dancing. It’s been about 6 weeks and one of our favorite things has been hearing songs that bring us right back to memories of that night. We interviewed a few DJs, and after meeting Justin it was an easy decision. It was very clear he would be the most organized and professional. Hiring a DJ ended up being completely worth it, and we’d definitely recommend him to others! -

Epic party!!!
I had to put a lot of faith in our venders as we were planning this wedding from across the country! All we had were reviews website and the wonderful customer service he provided! The wedding was amazing! The music was epic and I could not have asked for anything more. I am so grateful! A huge thank you. And to those wondering if you have the right DJ…rest assured you do!!! -

From start to finish Justin was communicative, responsive to emails, and hopped on several calls with us to walk us through the process of what the wedding day would look like. He assisted our live musician with hookups, he worked with our day-of coordinator to ensure a smooth process, and made us feel at ease. He uses an app called Vibo to make the process easy - you can select the music you want for your first dances, dinner music, open dancing, and even “do not plays,” to make sure he knows your style. Plus, he kept the dance floor packed, which is what we wanted! We would certainly recommend Justin to others! -

Justin truly was the best DJ we could ask for. My husband and I live out of state so we started the planning process pretty early, and Justin was there every step of the way. He reached out to us and coordinated effortlessly with our wedding planner as well. Was super patient with us when we weren’t exactly sure what we wanted. He also got everyone on the dance floor by the end of the night! Made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish, and we are eternally grateful for what he did! -

Justin was an unforgettable part of our wedding. From start to finish, working with him was seamless and genuinely enjoyable. Even before we officially booked, he came prepared to our consultation with a professional, beautifully crafted presentation—clear evidence of how much he values his clients and their experience.
My wife and I have hectic schedules, but he was always flexible and willing to meet with us late in the day to make sure everything was just right. His use of the Vibo app—which allowed us to collaborate our timeline and music selections—was very simple and helped streamline the entire process. This all eventually led to an amazing reception that my wife and I will never forget. Our guests kept talking about how incredible the music selection was, so thank you Justin for setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.

I wanted my wedding to feel like an unforgettable party—and Justin made that happen. Since the big day, so many guests have told me how amazing our DJ was and how they couldn’t pull themselves off the dance floor. We didn’t even have a particularly “dancey” crowd, but the floor was packed—and even spilled onto the grass!
I’d love to take credit for curating a killer playlist, but the truth is, we gave Justin very little direction. He showed up, read the room perfectly, and played exactly what our guests wanted to hear. He even worked in some Indian song requests to reflect our culture, and blended everything together seamlessly.
On top of keeping the party alive, Justin was incredibly professional—something that really stood out to us. He arrived on time, handled all the setup himself, and was easy to work with throughout the process. I’ve been to weddings where the ceremony audio was hard to hear or the speeches were a mess—but Justin managed everything flawlessly. Our venue didn’t come with a sound system, so the fact that everything went off without a hitch is entirely thanks to him.

Justin was amazing!! He is so thorough and detail oriented. I felt so happy to have him as our DJ because he's personable and professional. He was able to keep the wedding flowing, and he is always right on cue. He went out of his way to make us feel like we were taken care of. He made sure people were always having fun on the dance floor and somehow anticipated exactly the type of songs people wanted to hear! Everyone was telling us it was the most sore they had ever been the next day because they had been dancing nonstop at our wedding!! I cannot recommend him enough! -

Hello! We had the pleasure of working with Justin for our wedding this summer, and he absolutely crushed it! From the very first consultation, he was organized, personable, and a true professional. Justin was referred to us by our Wedding Planner. We were looking at multiple DJ's and Justin stood out from the get go in multiple ways.
He is very professional. Took time to take us through a slideshow of his work and the events he does. He really understood what we are looking for and what we wanted. He listened to our requests and the music he played was great! The dance floor was bumping all night. We gave him a general playlist and he went out of his way to play some special songs for us and he put together some great mixes.
If we had to do it over again, we'd hire Justin in a heartbeat. -

What a whirlwind of a weekend! I SO believe the power of music. Good tunes and the right vibe crushed all stressors, family drama, and enhanced the night. Making it memorable to last forever. Justin's work is, by far, not only just music, but the MC-ing and the orchestration of the night was so impressive. We absolutely could not have done it without him!! Especially with our tight timeline and beating the clock before 10 PM hit. Justin left us all wanting to dance and stay for so much longer!! Yet at the same time, we definitely got in everything that we needed. To our 1-1 dances , to the speeches and the sound of the microphone during the ceremony, we actually could not have pulled this off without him!!!! 🥳🥳🥳 I can't wait to see the dancing pictures and the reception pictures / videos to relive all of the love that was created! -

THE BEST DJ EVER!!! My husband and I hired Justin for our NYE wedding and he was amazing! He had the perfect setup for his DJ booth too. We wanted to stream the ball drop at midnight, and Justin was able to stream the ball drop for our us using his fancy LED screens. He also had all the lights to make the dance floor pop and get the party going. All our guests were raving about how great Justin was for weeks following our wedding (and still are!). On top of all that, Justin was extremely great to work with. You will not be disappointed if you hire DJ Kanoya Productions for your wedding. -

We are huge fans of Justin - we clicked from the moment we first talked to him and we're so glad we chose him for our wedding! He listened to our ideas and vision, while also making great recommendations and providing solid advice. Case in point: Our officiant had an idea for our recessional music that he wanted to surprise us with. Minutes before the ceremony, he mentioned it to Justin, who gently said to him, "Let me tell you why I don't think that's a great idea." Our officiant was completely convinced, not offended, and we didn't hear a word of it until after the big day. Everyone had a blast dancing all night at our wedding. Thank you Justin! -

Justin is very professional, friendly and does a great job on the mic, but doesn't overtake the show! He honestly threw the best dance party that all of our friends and family are still talking about! He coordinated with our live musician for our ceremony and cocktail hour as well as set-up a slide show for us. Michelle Sent on 05/22/2010Justin was the the perfect DJ for our wedding. He worked with us prior to the wedding in coordinating music that we wanted to play, and not just stuff he wanted to play. He was responsive to my emails and made us feel comfortable. He did all of our ceremony music and was a great emcee. He was able to read our crowd so well that he had our guests dancing the entire evening. He even staged our last dance of the evening and it was definitely one of our favorite moments from that night. He's a true professional and really knows his stuff. We would highly highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.
