  DJ Jim was amazing!
  I must admit that when I first met Jim I was a little concerned because he's an older gentleman and I didn't think he could relate to modern dance music. I was so wrong! And I apologize jim for ever doubting you! I think Jim was the main reason our wedding was such a success. Everyone had a blast and spent the night on the dance floor. He even surprised me and a couple guests with cds of all the main important songs played at our wedding. I wish I had taken the time to express to him in person what an amazing job he did and what an amazing time everybody had!

  My wife and I hired DJ Jim for our wedding reception last weekend. We worked with Jim because we thought he was a good fit for what we were looking for. We were looking for something more classy and professional, no audience participation songs, no crazy games, etc. Although if that is what you're looking for I know he can do an amazing job as well. Jim performed exactly how we imagined. He was able to keep it elegant and refined yet still get everyone going on the dance floor all night long. He even did a perfect job pronouncing all our difficult Latin names. He had one assistant who were very kind, professional and fun. The music was awesome, the mood/lights/atmosphere was perfect. We were truly impressed with everything, we had many many of our guests asking for their information because of everything mentioned above Jim. Thanks again Jim!

  DJ Jim was an amazing DJ, and a wonderful addition to our vendor team! At the beginning of our wedding planning process, he met with us and helped us develop a timeline for the wedding in general. Later in the planning process, he kept in touch with me through email and phone calls, he made sure that he fully understood my requests and he even took the time to meet with us again at the ceremony site, to be absolutely sure he had everything right, as we made very specific and unique requests for our ceremony timeline and music timing. He accomodated each of our requests perfectly, and the ceremony was one to remember because of it. He even brought up our requests with other colleagues of his to assist us with the planning and execution of our grand entrance (from a sailboat onto the dock and into the venue). We really appreciate all that DJ Jim has done for us, and we would recommend him to anyone who wants a perfect soundtrack to their wedding!

  I am so pleased to write a review for DJ Jim. From the moment I met him I could tell that he would be a great choice for my daughter's wedding. He exudes professionalism and accountability. We met well before the wedding date to develop a timeline and to review the types of choices in music that we wanted. The wedding was a bicultural event and he worked with us to provide a great music mix for everyone involved. During the reception we came up with an idea of an announcement for him to make and he did this with ease. I cannot emphasize enough the thoughtfulness, the attention to detail, and the ability to work seamlessly with the caterer that all contributed to the success of my daughter's wedding and reception.   DJ Jim made our reception perfect! He not only was within our budget, but for the price provided structure and guidance to the event. He knew what key events went on at a wedding reception and what order they typically happened in, but made sure that we knew we could change and personalize every detail. This was very helpful since neither my husband nor I knew much about how to run a wedding. We didn't have to think about anything the night of, he took care of everything! He even demonstrated the electric slide so that people could come up and join! DJ Jim is excellent, we highly recommend him!

Together, we developed an entire wedding musical presentation including dinner music, activity dances for guests from 4 to 84 and a general dance program that could've continued all night long. DJ Jim was a fine emcee and our guests responded so well to him. He worked with us to ensure a splendid, energetic time was had by everyone.   Jim is personable, shows great attention to detail and is very professional. You know from your first meeting that he really cares about you. He will obtain all of the songs you request, unlike many D.J.'s who have a limited selection. He is terrific at flexing when something outside of his control has caused the time line to be skewed and is always able to get things back on track without leaving out anything important. As an event planner, I have worked with Jim on many occasions and he is easy to communicate with and delivers every time. You can't beat the value!

  Jim was absolutely fantastic. He came to our home early on for a planning meeting, at which time we outlined the ceremony and music. He came prepared with comprehensive lists of popular ceremony and reception songs, listened to our desires and concerns ,and provided some great advice and suggestions.
  
  After the planning meeting, Jim sent us the outline and continued to check in with us as the big day approached. He confirmed our selections, wedding party, order of events, etc...and was very flexible with our last minute changes and requests.
  
  On the wedding day, Jim was prompt in setting up, skilled in his music mixes, pleasant in his announcing, and entertaining with his MCing and dance mix. The bridal party was running a little behind and Jim was flexible and helpful in getting us back on track without cutting anything important out.
  
  Overall, we had a great experience with Jim and would absolutely recommend his services, particularly if you're on a budget. Jim is definitely a great value!

He really does help keep every thing in order and make sure everything happens on time. Great music selection, for dancing and karaoke! Our guest had a blast with the karaoke! He gave us some great suggestions for songs that we would not have even thought of on our own.He included the music that we requested and kept the festivities moving at a very nice pace as Master of Ceremonies .We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jim and his price was extremely fair.We will definitely recommend him to our friends!

  DJ Jim did a fantastic job on our special memorable day. The relationship began before that day. DJ Jim met with us a few times to go over all our "wants" for that day. He was able to pull up a song on his laptop and be sure it was the correct song and or version of the song that we wanted. He was extremely important to us on the day of making sure that all flowed accordingly. He was able to set the timeline and make each song choice fit right in. I will use DJ Jim for any future celebrations.

  Discount DJ Jim is a very nice man who really wants to help you achieve a great wedding, unfortunately on the day of our wedding he did little to actually do that. My husband and I made the entire play list for him, so all he had to do was the play the right music at the right time with the right volume. He started playing music in the middle of our ceremony, was quite argumentative with the my husband and I as well as with members of our wedding party, and was not good at gauging the appropriate volume. If you're looking for a cheap DJ to just get the job done, he's alright, just stick to your guns.

  Discount DJ Jim is a very nice man who really wants to help you achieve a great wedding, unfortunately on the day of our wedding he did little to actually do that. He started playing music in the middle of our ceremony, was quite argumentative with the my husband and I as well as with members of our wedding party, and was not good at gauging the appropriate volume. If you're looking for a cheap DJ to just get the job done, he's alright, just stick to your guns.

  I was really surprised at this review. I went way out of the way to be sure I had everything absolutely perfect for this bride and groom. I obtained a large amount of unusual music and then played it exactly as they had said they wanted it. I checked with them throughout the evening to make sure they were happy with the volume, etc. The guests all had a great time dancing. At the end of the evening the bride said she was really happy with the way I handled everything. I even received a nice tip on top of my fee - so it's hard to understand why the bride would write what she did. DJ Jim
