It was an absolute pleasure working with Jalen. He is very down to earth and was so helpful in fulfilling every request we had. Our ceremony was relatively involved since we had many speakers, a pianist, a violinist, a cellist, and a guitarist. This was no problem for Jalen and all the audio came out perfect for our somewhat large wedding (160 people) in an outdoor space. He was an exceptional MC, bringing the hype for each element of the reception without drawing too much attention to himself. The focus was always on us and our families. Most importantly, the dance floor that Jalen created was ELECTRIC! He was able to keep the dance floor full for a whole 2.5-3 hours, and did so by playing music that was enjoyable for all age groups from 20 to 80. So many people came up to us saying how they have never experienced a dance floor like that, as well as other comments on how awesome our DJ was. I know searching for a wedding DJ is sort of a challenge since often you do not have an opportunity to see them in action, but please take our word for it: Jalen is the real deal, charges a very fair rate, and is so great to work with. We could not recommend him enough! -

June 2023 Wedding
Jalen was incredible! We truly believe a DJ can make or break a wedding and he absolutely made ours. Just minutes before our outdoor ceremony, it started raining, but Jalen handled the switch indoors flawlessly. From the ceremony music to our first dance and parent dances, everything went off without a hitch. He even had a personalized monogram displayed on the wall, which added such a special touch. Once the dance floor opened, it never emptied. Everyone was dancing all night long. He completely crushed it and made our celebration unforgettable. -

Jalen is incredibly talented, thoughtful, and responsive. Music choices were really important to my husband and I, and Jalen made it all come to life. He executed our ceremony music seamlessly, and had our guests dancing until the very end. Above all, Jalen is incredibly kind and a great person to have at your wedding! -

From day one, Jalen was very responsive and worked with me as events leading up to the wedding unfolded.
On the week of the wedding, we only needed one introductory video call to confirm every detail for how the wedding would flow - songs and all - He was on our wave-length the entire time.
On the day of the wedding, Jalen showed up well in advance and perfectly executed all songs (even specific snippets that we wanted). The transitions were spot-on, and he was easy-going and flexible. He was able to handle anything on-the-spot.
He truly was an MC and made us feel like VIPs.
My wedding guests liked him so much that some asked him for his business card.

Jalen Young was SO fun as our wedding DJ. He NAILED the music, playing a perfect variety of songs that aligned with our requests, and did an amazing job keeping the wedding events on schedule. The up lighting and custom monogram made the tent an absolutely gorgeous scene, and he made sure we had everything we need for a flawless night. Highly recommend his platinum wedding package! Jalen is a true professional. My wife and I almost got married at town hall, I say this because we wanted a very small, relaxed wedding where it was almost a family barbecue. When we brought this up to Jalen he was excited for us. We told him we do not have a specific play list, just a few songs that we requested get played. With no guidance in any part of the event from us, Jalen played the best music, there was no down time between songs, and truly made the event special, memorable, fun and exciting.
The venue and many guests requested contact information from Jalen after the event because they thought he was so good! Jalen is currently on the list of preferred vendors where we got married! I think that says it all! GREAT DJ, better friend and will always be part of our lives! -

Jalen was incredibly professional, calm, and focused. He didn't need a lot of direction to perform well. He took a few songs we liked and used them in conjunction with feeling the crowd to make our wedding music perfect. He also collaborated with our Greek DJ really well, which was great. Highly recommend.
