Nathan May was truly a gem to find in the Virginia wedding vendor industry. While I initially started my search simply looking for a DJ, DJ Fit’s all-in-one package including DJ services, audio, photobooth, and sparklers ended up being one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day.
As someone with a very Type A personality and a highly specific vision, I appreciated how effortlessly Nathan understood exactly what we wanted and brought it to life. From the pre-ceremony playlist, to the cocktail hour atmosphere, to the impeccable transitions that kept the dance floor packed all night long, Nathan absolutely nailed every part of the music experience. He was also an outstanding MC for the evening — he definitely has “the voice” and knew exactly how to keep the event flowing naturally and professionally.
The photobooth was another huge highlight of the night. This was a true, high-quality photobooth experience — not just an iPad screen with a camera attached. We had unlimited photo strips for guests throughout the evening, plus both physical and digital copies of every single photo taken. Those photos are priceless memories that we will cherish forever. The props were fantastic, and there was a wonderful selection of backdrops for guests to choose from.
Lastly, we were able to purchase sparklers directly through Nathan, which made the process incredibly easy and convenient. He handled everything seamlessly and even saved us both money and an extra trip during the chaos of wedding planning.
We truly cannot recommend Nathan May (DJ Fit) enough. He was professional, kind, organized, and made our entire day feel effortless and stress-free. He truly was the perfect “fit” for us, and I have no doubt he will be for you too. -

We met DJ Fit (Nathan) at my sister's wedding and was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism, charisma, and overall energy. After our initial call with him, the process up until our wedding day was extremely easy and smooth. Nathan was great to work with and was compatible with our other vendors. We were able to communicate to him what we wanted (and what we did not want). We had full trust in him to execute come wedding day. He gave clear direction and kept the dance floor busy allllll night.
Also of course we have to give a shout out to Nathan's dance moves and his light-up shoes!! If you are looking for a fun and amazing night filled with high-energy and all your favorite tunes, DJ Fit has got you covered. HIGHLY recommend!!! -

Dj Fit (or Nathan) was the dj for my wedding this weekend and I have to say it was the best night of my life and I truly think he made it so much better! He knew exactly what to recommend even when you have an idea but aren’t quite sure how to execute it, he was happy to help in any way he could! His energy and vibrancy made the dance floor full all night and I truly loved how flawless my experience was with him! From video chats making sure things are exactly like how you want it to him even making suggestions that helped me with the flow of my timeline of the day! And his Photo Booth service with the additional photo guest book was SO POPULAR. Guests could not stop talking about how energetic and amazing he and his son was and neither can I! He was worth every cent and more and will make any special event that much more special! -

The best DJ!
The vendors you choose will make or break your wedding day. Choosing Nathan not only means that you will have a packed dance floor, but that you will also have unlimited support throughout the entire day.
I would also recommend adding the photo booth and audio guestbook. Our guests absolutely loved them and it was a wonderful addition to our day. We cherish the photos and the audio recordings from all of our guests. Thank you Nathan for making our wedding unforgettable. -

Nathan was communicative and did a fantastic job for our wedding. Nathan ran the DJ booth for the reception, and sound for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. He provided all the equipment we needed and helped with MC-ing throughout the evening, such as toasts. We also used Nathan's photo booth which was a blast. Nathan handled everything professionally and was very easy to work with throughout the planning process and the day of the ceremony. We highly recommend him! -

Working with Nathan was awesome! He was very easy to communicate with, laid out what he needed from us in a timely manner, didn't pressure us to pay for additional services we weren't looking for (we just did basic DJ/emcee package) and did not disappoint. His DJ skills are fantastic (including overall friendliness and leading the crowd in line dances). He is also a fantastic emcee - we gave him all the info he needed and didn't worry about the flow of the event one bit on the day of. Additionally, Nathan does not steal the show; he does his job well (and with joy) and is attentive to those he is serving. He has DJ'ed/emceed three weddings in the family and each one has been logistically smooth, professional and super fun. Highly recommend Nathan and his services! -

We absolutely loved working with Nathan! He was incredibly helpful from the very beginning — even reaching out to our planner early on to ask how he could support and lean in wherever needed. On the day of the wedding, he was truly amazing. The dance floor was full the entire night and so many of our friends said it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to.
We went back and forth about our choreographed first dance, and Nathan pivoted with us seamlessly to make sure everything flowed perfectly. His energy, professionalism, and ability to read the room made the night unforgettable.
I would recommend him to absolutely anyone looking for a DJ. He made our wedding better than we ever imagined! -

Unsure as to what a DJ even costs these days, we went on a recommendation ourselves and DJ Fit knocked it out of the park! From day one he was so easy to talk to and so professional. His interaction with our guests was so much fun without being intrusive. All our guests were so impressed and we can only hope he's around for our daughters wedding some day down the road because she already told him he was "hired'! Easiest box to check off your list! -

Perfect Day! Nathan was responsive from day 1. Always available for questions and genuinely happy to oblige. We incorporated 2 recordings into the ceremony and he ensured they were clear. He was solicitous on the wedding day, offering to bring a drink or anything needed. The dance floor remained full. It was helpful the bride and groom rarely left it. The fee for his services seemed in keeping with like talent. His MCing kept everything and everyone on schedule. Happy to recommend Nathan. A gentleman and professional. Call him! -

Nathan was like a second day-of-coordinator. He gave us invaluable guidance on designing playlists, positioning lighting, microphones, cabling, and party favors. His emceeing was professional and song mixing was smooth. We had many guests with hearing aids who said that the sound was perfectly balanced for their hearing. The Fitbooth photobooth was a big hit and guests loved the high-quality film strips! -

Nathan, aka DJ Fit was truly exceptional. From the initial planning phase to the day of the wedding, Nathan was always super responsive and on top of it. Furthermore, Nathan provides great flexibility, whether it came to meeting with him to discuss our wedding, or if we needed to make a slight change. Nathan allowed us to curate our own playlists for each phase of the wedding and he was able to mix the songs magically. Additionally, he was able to read the vibe of the room and our dance floor never really emptied. He also had a super creative mix for the cake cutting, to where I was too busy vibing to the song to even cut the cake.
Aside from the music, Nathan offers an amazing photo booth service that we would highly recommend any couple to get. All of our guests really enjoyed it and they were able to walk away with a little memory of the night. Additionally, Nathan lets you design your own photo strip and has an assortment of backdrops and props that all guests can enjoy.
Outside of his services, Nathan himself is a great person who kept tabs on us throughout our night. He asked if we needed anything and even brought drinks to our sweetheart table. When he saw that people were constantly coming up to us during dinner to take pictures, he reminded us we can take some time to ourselves and enjoy our meal. Not only did we get a DJ that night, but we felt like we had a friend that was looking out for us.
All in all, we highly recommend Nathan for any couple that is looking for a DJ. You will not find a better one!

From the moment we first spoke with DJ Fit, we knew we were in great hands. He managed to exceed every single expectation, and his calm and easy-going spirit made working with him so much more enjoyable. From start to finish, our wedding was filled with the most perfect music, seamless transitions, and the kind of energy that kept our guests smiling and dancing all night long.
Not only is DJ Fit extremely talented, but his professionalism and positive attitude truly set him apart. He arrived early, came fully prepared, and handled every detail with ease. His friendly, upbeat presence put us completely at ease and made the entire planning process a joy. Even when we had last-minute changes, he handled them with grace and enthusiasm—never missing a beat.
He also delivered all of this at an incredibly fair price, proving that you can have top-tier service without breaking the budget. The value we received was unmatched, and every dollar was worth it for the memories they helped create.
Dj Fit took the time to really understand our style, our must-play list, and the vibe we wanted for each moment—from the romantic ceremony music to the upbeat cocktail hour, and then the dance floor that stayed packed until the very last song. They read the crowd flawlessly, honored our playlists and engaged with guests naturally! He also was an amazing MC and was amazingly comfortable on the mic!

We hired DJFit for our wedding because of his strong connections to the music education community, all the great things we heard from our Music Teacher friends, and his incredible talent! From the very first meeting, he was incredibly organized, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He even moved around his own personal schedule to really be present on our day. He assisted us with a rain plan for our wedding that worked out BEAUTIFULLY!
On the big day, his energy was absolutely infectious—he had everyone on their feet, from our younger guests to our elderly family members. He read the room perfectly and kept the night flowing seamlessly, making every moment feel special and personalized. Whether it was the emotional music cues during the ceremony or the perfectly timed dance tracks during the reception, he nailed it all.
Not only was he a phenomenal DJ, but he also brought a genuine enthusiasm that made the entire experience feel personal and meaningful. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who’s both talented and deeply connected to music in a way that truly enhances the celebration. We were so Excited to have him for our June Summer wedding in Staunton, VA.

From the initial phone call to saying goodbye after our last dance at our reception, DJ Fit was the BEST! He was always professional and friendly on the phone and via email, and we especially appreciated how organized he was in planning our special day. Getting our songs and order of events together with him felt seamless. The lighting (photo) and additional services he provided (sparklers, etc.) were amazingly priced, too. On our wedding day, he lit our space in Afton, VA beautifully and worked so well with our venue. He regularly checked in with us throughout the evening, making sure we were ok with the order of events, asking if we needed drinks, etc. Volume of the music, announcements, and clarity of the whole sound system were perfect and we never needed them adjusted. My maid of honor sang our first dance song, and DJ Fit had no issue accommodating her guitar and ensuring that she sounded incredible. He read the room well, with music choices from our list that always felt perfect. He even lead a few group dances himself, which got a lot of people out on the dance floor, but never felt corny (photo)! He was a cool MC for our party, and we had the utmost confidence handing him the reigns. Cannot recommend DJ Fit enough for enhancing our special day! -

We could not have asked for a better DJ than Nathan (DJ Fit) for our wedding! From start to finish, he brought the perfect energy, professionalism, and style to our celebration.
Nathan was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process—responsive, organized, and genuinely excited to help bring our vision to life. On our wedding day, he read the room flawlessly and kept the dance floor hopping all night long. He blended songs seamlessly and actively worked with us to create a setlist that was perfect for a night of celebrating our love story. He even taught our guests the group dances that some of them were too nervous to get on the dance floor and try until he gave them the confidence they needed. Our teenage son NEVER dances, yet we saw him take to the dance floor to learn The Flex and the Wobble alongside Nathan. This was so incredible to see!
As a couple who loves Taylor Swift, we especially appreciated the way he worked in the perfect amount of Swiftie magic—our guests were enchanted and we’ll never forget singing our hearts out to “Love Story” at the end of the night. Every moment, from the cocktail hour to the final song, was executed with intention and care. Wow - there is no one that could have done a better job than Nathan. We would shout it from the rooftops if we could - there is zero chance of regret when bringing DJ Fit onto your wedding day team!
We also took advantage of Nathan's photo booth and audio guestbook add-ons. It was SO MUCH FUN to listen to the well wishes of our guests and to see how much fun they had dressing up and hopping into the photo booth to capture their smiles and excitement from the night.
Nathan truly was the mastermind behind the soundtrack of the best night of our lives. If you want a DJ who can elevate your event with incredible music, professionalism, and heart—look no further than DJ Fit! -

Nathan was incredible - I never fully appreciated that a DJ is more than just the music for an event. He is the MC, the facilitator, and all things that kept our event moving and hoppin'! As others said, he checked in with us throughout the night and helped us stay on schedule for key moments. He was flexible when things went off track and jumped in as needed. His light up shoes rock - and leading all the line dances was hilarious (and much appreciated at times). He is also just an all around good human being. We absolutely loved having his wife as well, who ran the photo booth and audio guest book (HIGHLY recommend both). Thank you again for making our day so special, in more ways than you know. DJ Fit brought a wonderful and positive energy to the dance floor and to the ceremony. He was very responsive and thanks to his info forms and our call about two weeks ahead of our wedding, he had everything ready and taken care of. At times, he legitimately seemed like second coordinator. We had multiple guest both during the night and since our wedding tell us that he was the best DJ they have seen at a wedding. If you're on the fence, book him because you will not regret it! P.S. - add on the FitBooth and the photo booth guest book! It's so worth the money and having DJ Fit hand us the book at the end of the night was so awesome to look through the next morning to relive it all. -

Nathan was absolutely amazing! So attentive all throughout the night. Really understood the vibe of the night and kept the party going. Nathan was super easy to work with for our wedding, not to mention he's incredible at his job! He kept people engaged with the dance floor all night, as soon as the music started, there wasn't a moment the floor was empty. In addition, the included uplighting was a major bonus. He was also very helpful in organizing the party's entrance to the reception, and overseeing toasts as well. I'm so glad we booked Nathan for our wedding. My husband and I are very particular when it comes to music. Nathan is completely willing to let you craft a playlist of songs to choose from so you can be sure the music played at your wedding will be exactly what you want. All of our must-plays were hit, and so many guests have commented on how great the music was. He will also graciously deny song requests from guests if it doesn't fit the vibe (if that's what you want!), which was awesome and meant we didn't hear a single song we didn't love all night. Nathan also brings such a great presence as the MC for your evening. Everything flowed so seamlessly, and he really engages the guest and will even get on the floor to dance along. He checked in on us the perfect amount throughout the night to check how we are doing and prep us for the next phase of events. 10/10 reccommend!! -

Nathan was an absolute rockstar at our wedding! Having worked many previous weddings with Nathan, he was the first vendor I wanted to book when it came time for my own wedding. From start to finish, our experience with Nathan was amazing. He truly goes above and beyond for each couple. Nathan listened to our requests and playlists to make sure that every single song I wanted to hear, was played. He was the life of the party during reception - even getting out on the dance floor with us to celebrate! Nathan and his assistant also provided our photo booth which was a HIT for our guests! It's clear that Nathan loves his couples and his job.
Not only does Nathan provide excellent DJ and MC services, but when I say he truly went above and beyond on our wedding day, I mean it. All day he was the one keeping track of the timeline - he even made sure to bring my husband and I drinks and hors d'oeuvres during photos (totally not his responsibility - but he did it anyway). If you're questioning whether or not to hire Nathan, the answer is obvious! He is the best of the best! -

DJ Fit was the perfect fit for our wedding day. My husband and I are both pretty introverted individuals, so we wanted a DJ who would make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed throughout the reception and evening. DJ Fit did just that and more. He went above and beyond throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. He was just the right amount of outgoing without it being too much or overwhelming. Nathan (DJ Fit) exceeded every expectation and hope of what our ceremony and reception would be! He was willing to work with tricky ceremony song timings and knew how to interact with the crowd to keep everything going smoothly. He kept the energy up by getting out on the dance floor with great song selections! Picking music was the hardest part of planning for us and he did a great job at playing fun songs that were great to get all ages dancing! He also went out of his way to coordinate with all the other vendors to make sure nothing fell through the cracks. Lastly, he’s just a great guy with a genuine care that your day is special and made sure to check in with us and our families throughout the evening to make sure we didn’t need anything! DJ Fit (Nathan) was recommended to use by our photographer, Rob Jinks, and he helped to make our wedding day so incredible! From the first phone call, we could tell he had a great voice and personality. He was very kind and patient during our planning months. He provided great suggestions, and helped to ease our nerves about being the center of everyone’s attention. I am most grateful that he was able to help with having some of my family members perform live during our cocktail hour! In my family, it’s not a party until someone breaks out a guitar! During our reception, he also did a great job keeping people dancing but leading line dances whenever the momentum slowed down. We received many compliments on his performance throughout the evening. He also provided our photobooth at a competitive price, with unlimited prints for guests and digital copies of both the strips and individual images came to my inbox very shortly after the wedding! Finally, we did not have a videographer as we felt it wasn’t our style. Nathan offers simple home-movie-style video recording of events which was perfect for us. We got all the important moments captured and it has been great watching these back since our wedding. We look forward to showing them to our future children! -

Nathan made our wedding day EASY!!! We were nervous about finding a DJ that was a good match for us because we were honoring so many different customs and traditions with a Hindu/Jewish wedding, but Nathan handled the day seamlessly! The respect and honor that he had for all our traditions was touching. For example, he went out of his way to ensure he pronounced every word and name perfectly during any announcements he made. At first we did not plan to get a DJ, but we are so glad we had DJ fit at our wedding - in many ways he was the most calm and "on it" person at our wedding. We began working with DJ fit about 3 weeks before our wedding. He quickly met with us and scheduled meetings to ensure he knew exactly what we wanted. We appreciated how prepared he was at the meeting with questions, and took special care to ensure he was pronouncing everyones name correctly. He worked perfectly in tandem with our wedding coordinator from Saavy Affairs and knew the schedule of the day perfectly. He was critical to queueing the transitions for different events at the wedding. For instance, there were a few times where things did not go as planned, we told him how we felt, and he created transitions to move events along. DJ Fit is perfect for you if you already know what kind of music you want. He is clear with instructions & is very lively. -

Nathan and his assistant Sierra were absolutely fantastic for us. We had a DIY wedding at an outside Pavilion and Nathan was incredibly accommodating and flexible in preparation and day of. My wife and I created our own rough playlist and Nathan and Sierra turned it into a complete dance party all night! In the middle of our reception, we experienced a breaker trip and they quickly plugged into their back up power and seamlessly kept the music and party going. It is also fantastic that lighting came with the package and was not extra! And my wife was obsessed with his light-up shoes! We are so happy we hired DJ Fit for our wedding! -

We are so happy we reached out to DJ Fit for all our music and lighting needs for our wedding. He helped guide us about what songs and genres we wanted to hear on our big day (entrances, cocktail hour, dinner, first dance, dancing, etc). When we didn't have any ideas for dinner and cocktail hour, he was able to come up with great ideas that helped fit our vibe. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and was able to accommodate unconventional songs and starting songs at the times we specified. I definitely recommend taking advantage of the photo booth and video services. Our guests loved using the photo booth and will always have a memento from our wedding. DJFit is THE greatest hit!!!
*This is supposed to be a short review but we could sing his praises all day! Please read in full!*
My husband and I felt rushed to find a DJ for our wedding after my husband's motorcycle accident (recovery went/is going great!) threw our planning way off course. Nathan (DJFit) was the 2nd DJ we reached out to 2 months before our wedding, but he made us feel so at ease even after the first phone meeting that we quickly forgot about the other.
He has such a refreshing mix of professionalism and chill vibe. He has all of the answers before you can even ask the questions. He's genuinely hype for your event and needs. All around a great guy. Affordable, but not at all cheap in what he adds to your day.
His assistant was also so amazing. She was helpful, polite, and seemed to have great teamwork with not only Nathan but the rest of our vendor team.
Everything just flowed so well, and I know he played a huge role in that. As far as we know there were no technical difficulties, but if there were, we had every bit of faith he'd be able to handle it.
We had a brunch wedding and at first we were a little disappointed in our guests not being as into the dance floor vibe so early in the day, but Nathan was on point in reading the room and getting our mixed crowd dancing and keeping it that way!
His photo booth/guestbook was 100% worth the extra money. It was a HUGE hit throughout our entire reception. And having pictures to go with the guests' signings is such a great way to keep and hold the amazing memories of the day.
We highly recommend him for any event. His thoughtfulness and care in the pinpoint details and delivery of it all is unmatched by any DJ I know of! -

DJ Fit was the best DJ we could have asked for. He came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. We even received many compliments about him from our guests! DJ Fit was extremely quick to respond to all of my questions and so helpful in planning the timeline and logistics of our wedding. I told him I wanted to move the events of the evening along to maximize the amount of time for dancing and partying and he worked with our coordinator to do just that. He even put on his light up shoes to teach our guests some dances! Everything DJ Fit did for us at our wedding helped the day flow so seamlessly and perfect. We chose Nathan to be our wedding DJ solely off the reviews and high praises from others and he 1000% delivered!! Nathan was amazing from being to end. He was in communication with us about a month before our wedding to ensure he had every detail he needed to help our wedding run smoothly. Some of our family and wedding party don’t have traditional English names, but Nathan was so thoughtful and intentional about taking time to ensure he had the exact pronunciation of each person correct. That’s the level of detail Nathan gives that goes far beyond playing music at the wedding. He gave us the liberty to create our own playlists for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He respected our short “do not play” list and asked how we felt about allowing requests. He would periodically check in with us (not in an overbearing way) to make sure we were happy with how things were going and if there was anything we wanted or needed to make the day better. He is such a fun guy who genuinely cares about making sure it’s the best day ever for the couple. If you’re looking for your dance floor to be rocking all night long, Nathan is your guy! -

Wow Wow Wow!!! DJ FIT (Nathan) is as amazing as they come when it comes to a wedding DJ. He was very detail oriented from the start and brought in a calm presence when so many hectic things were going on during wedding planning for us. During the wedding and reception, he was very flexible and constantly checked in on us to make sure we are happy with the timeline and what is to happen next. Everyone that I talked to have said that it was a great party and its a testament on how great of a MC he is . Nathan was extremely easy to work with, organized, and ultimately threw a great party. Not only is he very detail oriented (he called us before our wedding to identify the exact second to begin songs based on what we wanted for our ceremony), but he's also so much fun! He provides lighting and even wore light-up shoes on the dance floor. His mood the day of the wedding was so relaxed on a day that can be stressful. He checked on both of us throughout the day to see how we were doing and what he could do to help, even if it wasn't directly related to his role. We had multiple guests comment during the reception and afterwards that he was one of the best DJs they've experienced at a wedding. Highly recommend! -

DJFit was absolutely AMAZING! We cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He really went out of his way to make our wedding ceremony, reception, and cocktail our special. DJ Fit did a fantastic job as my DJ and photo booth person this July! Nathan is friendly and effective at communicating; he always got back to emails right away. He takes the time to get to know your preferences and what you're looking for in a DJ. He provides a lot of flexibility with how much of your playlists you want to create (or not). When the wedding got closer, he really helped me think through the logistics and reception timeline, too.
At the reception, everyone loved DJ Fit! He did a great job choosing music, had fun with crowd interaction, and even helped teach a group dance. The FitBooth (photo booth) was a huge hit, too. They provided all of the props and took/printed all of the photos, and everyone had so much fun using it!

We talked to a couple DJ's from our wedding venue's recommended vendor list, but from the moment we started talking to DJ Fit, we felt immediately comfortable and felt like we could trust him. He's not only an incredible DJ, but on our wedding day, jumped in to help all of our other vendors with set up, break down, and our sparkler exit. He made our wedding planning so much less stressful by providing sparklers for us! He also walked us through his uplighting and photo booth options - and wasn't pushy about anything. He genuinely has his couple's best intentions in mind and wanted us to do anything we were comfortable with! We ended up purchasing the additional uplighting and couldn't be happier with our decision. Without a doubt do we plan to recommend Nathan to all our friends & anyone who reads this! He really knows how to keep a party going and he’s so thorough and personable with you, not only on the day of your wedding, but also during the whole planning process. He went above and beyond during our wedding reception to help us & our families. I’ve been to many weddings and I’ve never encountered a DJ like Nathan.
As if the DJing wasn’t enough, he has a photo booth add on and I **HIGHLY** recommend you include it when hiring Nathan. It was a huge hit at our wedding & made for a wonderful party favor! We also chose to add the (faux) exit with sparklers and he coordinated all of that which helped relieve a lot of stress while planning and at the reception.

The perfect DJ!
Nathan was everything we had hoped for as our wedding DJ! He was very professional, skillful, and prepared for the day's events. He made sure that everything ran smoothly and always put the bride and groom first. He was very energetic and even got on the dance floor to teach guests how to do certain line dances. He really got the party started! He was very accommodating, as I had a surprise dance that he was able to facilitate perfectly. He helped us find music that fit the vision we had and worked through songs that we chose and what might be a better fit. Everything turned out perfectly. We hired Nathan to provide DJ and MC services for our wedding at Keswick Vineyards. He was a friendly and total professional all the way through. We had a custom playlist and he worked with it superbly. The versions of songs were correct (our version of our first dance was a shorter version than what's on spotify), the cuts to music, the timing of beat drops to grand entrances, and generally being an organizing presence with a great voice--he nailed it. We had a custom playlist for the dance floor which he worked with well, but he was also able to roll with some changes the night of that brought the dance floor alive.
