DJ Donovan Yaukey of Phantom Shadow is absolutely phenomenal!
From the moment the event started, Donovan kept the energy high and the crowd engaged. His music selection was spot-on — a perfect blend of classics and current hits that got everyone on the dance floor, from kids to grandparents. He was professional, punctual, and really took the time to understand what we wanted for our event.
What stood out the most was how effortlessly he read the room and kept the flow going without missing a beat. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and that passion shows in his performance.
If you're looking for a DJ who’s experienced, easy to work with, and knows how to throw an unforgettable party, DJ Donovan is your guy. Highly recommended! -

Donovan is such a Great guy to work with. My wife and I had the pleasure to have Donovan “MC” my wives 50th Birthday Party back in February. Even though the weather was not cooperating that evening, Donovan not only showed up, but He kept the party going through the evening. Donovan exceeded all our expectations and added a Beautiful ambience with all his lighting. Great Music sound. Clean and crisp. Not scratchy or buffering. Great lights, and even better Friendship. We will certainly ask Him to help with future Occasions. If you are thinking of having ANY special events and want to have a Great time, definitely consider Donovan. You won’t be disappointed. -

Talk about an amazing DJ! Donovan was truly an icon to our special day. Months later, people still talk to use about our DJ and how amazing he was. DJ Donovan was punctual, professional, and extremely experienced in what he does. He provided sound for our ceremony that was in a different location than our reception. I cannot recommend him enough, if you need a DJ, book Donovan!!! -

Donovan is the perfect DJ tailoring the reception to the desires of the couple. I hired him for my daughter & son in law's reception and needed to handle a lot of the details without their input as they were in another country. Donovan had great suggestions and ideas to guide me to exactly what made a perfect evening for them. He made the evening special for them and the guests. Perfect music, atmosphere, host, and all the while keeping it great fun and reading the room just right. He also was DJ for my other daughter at her reception that had a completely different atmosphere and offered the perfect enhancements for her reception that made it truly beautiful and memorable. He has set the standard for many other DJs and taught them how to do the job the right way. But he is a standout and flawless. With this great experience, creativity, options and personality, he is Simply The BEST! -

We've followed DJDonovan since he started several years ago. His venues are first class. Nobody in our area compares to his professionalism and interpersonal skills. His equipment is always state of the art and he is on top of all matters. He receives our highest recommendation. -

Packed Dance Floor
He was fantastic and music was spot on. The dance floor was packed all night long and even had the oldest and youngest of guest happy too. -

Fantastic!!
Donovan was absolutely the best DJ we could have asked for. Not only did he make our day fun, enjoyable, and seamless for us as well as our guests, he calmed this nervous bride’s nerves on several occasions. A true professional.
