Wedding Dj Don King

Don King was easily the best decision we made for our wedding! He was so flexible with us as we ran behind so he stayed later! The day before there were changes that were asked (knowing that was not on our list and he did not HAVE to accommodate) He made those changes without a problem!

Daughter’s Wedding

Don was an amazing DJ. He stayed in touch closer to the event and was quick to respond if a question came up. On the day of the wedding, he was there early enough to set up and allow the vocalist to rehearse. The music for both the ceremony and reception were on point.

DJ Don King is THE GUY to have DJ any event you have! He works with any of your wants or needs and makes everyone have a good time and get up and DANCE! We had such a fun time and he kept us right on track with our wedding and reception timeline! Everything was just like I would have hoped for and I definitely couldn’t have picked a better DJ!

Awesome DJ

I messaged DJ Don King after a last minute cancellation from another DJ. He was very quick to respond back and was very clear about everything that was included in his pricing. He was very helpful in letting me know what I needed to send him and when. He kept the crowd going all night and played a good mix of all types of music that was perfect for our wedding! I highly recommend him.

Don is THE BEST! We are so happy to have had him as a part of our wedding day 🥳 He was flexible and easy to communicate with throughout our entire wedding planning process. Best dj ever!

I have worked with Don since I was in high school! He was the DJ for all of my formals and my Senior prom. When I got engaged I knew immediately that I needed Don to DJ my reception! He made it so much fun and a night everyone will remember!!

He was exactly what I wanted, needed!! He did everything and more to make sure my day was perfect.

10/10 recommend Don King as a DJ!! He was so helpful on helping me decide songs and kept the crowd on there feet. I was so worried about people not dancing at my wedding but that was not a problem at all. He did such an amazing job! Highly recommend!!!

DJ Don King was amazing! So glad we booked him for our wedding. He played the ceremony music we had picked out which was perfect and went better than I had imagined. Great song selections for the dance floor! Everyone had a great time! Definitely recommend him for any event. He’s very professional and reasonably priced!

Amazing DJ!!

Would recommend Don King to everyone! He was so sweet to everyone! He took requests and even noticed I had Saints cookies at the reception and led us in The Who Dat chant! 😂😂 We also wed on the day of the Iron Bowl so he also kept us updated on the score (per request of some of the groom’s family)! great guy and a great DJ! Hands down! Do yourself a favor and book him! He is amazing!

LOVED Don King! He was so sweet and is great at what he does! Took requests and checked in with me throughout the night. Even started The Who Dat chant since I had saints cookies. Worked with my brother in law that sang for me as well. Would book again without a doubt!!

The DJ kept everybody on the dance floor!

Don King was amazing! I knew without a doubt he was going to be the DJ at my wedding for a while. He was the DJ at my prom in high school and he has been great ever since! If you are debating on which DJ to go with, Don King will not disappoint!

DJ Don King brings the party!

Very professional and a pleasure to work with! We used DK for the wedding and reception. He did not miss a beat on any of the music. We greatly appreciated his talent and I believe the kids had the best time dancing the evening away. We will most certainly request his services in the future if the need arises!

Wedding DJ

Don King was one of the best parts of our day (besides the marriage:)) He has everything set up and ready to go before the reception began. He was very flexible with the time we needed in between every part of the reception, and he helped guide us into what was next. Don checks with you before the event to make sure he has the music you would like at your wedding and because of this the music was perfect and he had our guests up and dancing!

All of his equipment worked perfectly and even had a cordless microphone for the toasts.

For any party or event we have in the future, Don will be our go to DJ!

DJ Don King will take your wedding to the next level!! He is super professional and will play whatever you want him to throw down!! If you don't have any ideas of what music to play don't worry he is your guy and will get the party started!! If your afraid that no one will dance at your wedding he has some good ideas to get everyone on the dance floor...it works believe me! Loved having him as our DJ at our wedding!! 2 Thumbs up!! And 6 Stars if there is such a thing :)

After my sister heard Don King DJ at Oak Grove High School's prom, she told me I HAD to get him for my wedding reception. We contacted him and thankfully he had my date available! He was very helpful with our song list which included a mix of 80s, current hip hop, and hispanic songs. The dance floor stayed packed during the reception, and we all had so much fun! THANK YOU! I'd recommend him to anyone!

Whenever I started planning my wedding and someone would ask who would be playing music for the reception, without hesitation, I would reply DJ Don King. He did the music for my senior prom, and growing up with SL100 as my primary station, I figured it was appropriate that I have such a huge part of my childhood as part of my wedding.

And boy, did he exceed expectations! He did the music for my ceremony, and he listened to all of my concerns about the music being cut off abruptly. I sent him a 2 page list complete with songs (Don’t judge me; I am organized, type A personality HAHA), and he found every single song and helped my vision come to life.

We didn’t serve alcohol at our reception, and unlike most other non-alcohol weddings, the dance floor was full all night long. He played music for people of all ages, and everyone from my 70 year old grandparents to my 40 year old aunts and uncles to my 20 year old sister to my 5 year old cousins were dancing. It was absolutely perfect. I’d like to reiterate that I’ve never been to a wedding where so many people danced! (I may be a little biased though!)

Seriously though, Don was the best. I am SO glad that when I booked Don King, I KNEW that I could cross music off my list of worries!

From start to finish, Don had the right music for each moment of our reception! He was very flexible and happy to accommodate our last minute changes. He is very experienced and knowledgable about wedding receptions and had helpful advice on when guests usually like to start dancing and the right music to get everyone on the dance floor. We highly recommend Don!

So happy with his work. Very laid back & super easy to get along with. Being a bride is so stressful, so having a DJ like him made everything go much more smoothly! I couldn’t say a single bad thing about this guy! I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends & family. Most certainly will use him again for any events/occasions we need a DJ for. Don King was absolutely amazing! He made my reception everything I could have ever wanted. My friends and family could not stop saying how awesome he was and how much he interacted with the crowd. They said it was the best reception. He was really helpful in picking songs for the ceremony. He helped make it unique and special to us! He was so affordable. We were very pleased with DJ Don Kings services. We had a small wedding with a diverse range in ages which I thought would be a problem regarding music. But Mr King handled it like a pro and had all ages entertained. He was a pleasure to work with during pre wedding arrangements and was very accomodating to our needs. We would definitely recommend him to family and friends!

Don King was an absolute professional. He made choosing pre-ceremony and ceremony music so easy. We were struggling with music for the wedding march and he came up with the perfect song and it turned out absolutely beautiful. For the reception, he had us on the dance floor having a blast. Would highly recommend him for any special event.

This gentleman and his DJ service is by far the best I have ever dealt with. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make our reception spectacular and exactly what we dreamed it would be. To say he was easy to deal with would be a huge understatement. Weddings are hectic enough and he made this part of our special day absolutely stress-free and perfect. His music selection and sound equipment were perfect. I would highly recommend him for any event you have. Our guests left our reception saying this was by far the best reception they ever attended. Kudos to you DJ DonKing!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the music by DJ Don King at our daughter's wedding. The sound system was 2nd to none. He kept the crowd entertained and also worked well with the photographer in getting through 'first dance', cake cutting, etc. Once the wedding formalities were out of the way, DJ Don King knew how to get the party started. The dance floor was full all night and well past midnight. We had more than a few people tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We will definitely book DJ Don King for all future events.

Ya boy Don King was AMAZING! My husband and I had a surprise dance at our wedding, and he took the time to cut all of the music for us. He made sure everyone was having fun during our reception and played exactly what we asked of him! I didn't have to do anything but show up and have a good time! He was reliable, had great communication, and I didn't have any stress knowing he was my DJ! I recommend him to ANYONE! You don't get much better than Don King :)

DJ Don King is a must for your big day! Very easy to work with, during the stress of everything else "wedding". We discussed music, he offered opinions from previous experiences & took our wishes into consideration. Once music selection was complete, I had nothing to worry about! And it was PERFECT! Could not have asked for anything better or stress-free, with our decision to use Don!!

I had this guy for my ceremony and reception and he was awesome! Played great music appropriate to the audience and if a song was requested that he didn't have, he found it and played it
