  11-11-23 Wedding

  After having to switch DJs only 6 months before our wedding, we were connected with Dan and wow are we happy it worked out that way! Dan was so professional, nice and easy to work with. On the day of he we organized and worked with our other vendors to keep the day on track. He checked in with my husband and I throughout the night and made us feel comfortable. We started our reception with a quick dance party before dinner and within the first 5 minutes of dancing we had people saying “where did you find this DJ?!” His mixes were so good and he hit on all our favorite music. He kept the dance floor going from start to finish, with many guests asking for more. Don’t hesitate, book Dan. You’ll have the dance floor of your dreams!!

  Dan was our man!

  As busy and stressful as wedding planning is, it is such a breath of fresh air to have someone personable and experienced to help us with the various decision-making for our special day. Dan was very intentional in meeting with us before the wedding to ensure we could execute our vision and provide his insight on making the night seamless. We are so grateful for his reassurance and flexibility at a time when we needed it. Dan can certainly read a room and on the day of our wedding and weeks after, many of our guests told us how great of a time they had especially on the dance floor. We can’t recommend Dan enough!

  Great Wedding DJ

  We worked with Mark and Dan for our wedding. Mark ended up being the DJ for our event. They are an excellent duo. I would describe them as detail oriented, responsive, and flexible. They were always available via zoom for any questions we had. They made several custom edits of songs for us and even welcomed adjustments to our ceremony/reception a few days before the wedding.
  
  Mark went above and beyond. He was unfamiliar with our venue and visited the space a week before to ensure our day went smoothly. Our wedding coordinator was impressed by his communication. He put on a great reception that had the dance floor full for the whole night!

  DJ Dan Moran absolutely crushed it at my wedding recently and I don't just mean the day of the wedding, throughout the entire process he was on top of everything. From the first meeting we had onward, after every meeting the follow up was immediate and holistic, Dan had vendors to recommend when needed, his foresight into potential problems we didn't consider, everything was amazing. The things we causally discussed and the amount of follow through on them was incredibly thoughtful and extensive. His ability to quickly shift when it rained on some of his equipment out of no where. Suggesting Dan may be my best contribution to a new life as a new husband.

  Dan brings the party!

  I would highly recommend working with DJ Dan. He listened to us with our song requests (and do not plays) and created the best mixes and mashups that kept the party going all night long! All of our guests had the best time and were dancing all night long.

  Our wedding was unforgettable, thanks in large part to our phenomenal DJ Dan Moran. From our initial meeting, Dan grasped our musical preferences and we added the saxophonist, which totally made the dance floor and our guests were obsessed! Together, they created they kept our dance floor packed from start to finish.

  I can't recommend Dan enough. He played all ur must-haves including some extras from our Spotify playlist and made the vibe of the reception everything I could have hoped for. Our guests were chanting "one more song!!" at the end of the night. Dan was extremely responsive and professional, and his acoustic guitarist was spectacular during our ceremony and cocktail hour.

  DJ Dan Moran was the the MVP of our wedding - I highly recommend him. From the very start, he was organized and professional. He reached out to all our other vendors and was an excellent communicator. Obviously weddings are stressful but Dan was literally the only person I wasn’t worried about. You could tell he put thought into every aspect of the process. Of all the vendors we used for our wedding, I was most impressed by him. Dan is such a pleasure to work with. Our wedding was perfect and we owe a majority of it to him! The dance floor was packed the entire night and our guests of all ages had a blast. His loveliness extended after the wedding when we got a surprise package in the mail… a custom box with a CD featuring the soundtrack to our wedding and ceremony/speeches. The value vs cost of his services is incredible and so so worth it. If only life had more occasions that required a DJ… I’d use him again and again.

  Dan did such an incredible job DJing our wedding! He was so easy to work with, so detail oriented, and so reassuring in the weeks leading up to the event. He then did an incredible job with the ceremony and MC-ing toasts and dances. His music kept our guests on the floor the entire evening! We really cannot recommend him highly enough.

  Dan was the best DJ we could have asked for! He was so easy to work with, responsive, and definitely brought the fun. His music choices were spot on and exactly what we asked for. Mike, the saxophone player, played with Dan's music choices throughout the reception and it was one of the highlights of our wedding! The combo of Dan and Mike was so unique and fun that our guests couldn't stop talking about it and the dancefloor was packed all night!

If he hadn’t suggested it we likely wouldn’t have had such an easy time postponing all our vendors. Leading up to the wedding he was great with communication. He was incredibly organized and made sure the music at our reception is what we wanted. Day of the wedding he was beyond amazing. Everyone was raving about how he kept everyone dancing on the dance floor. We had a great time! We even got a surprise CD from Dan the week after our wedding with the speeches and songs from our wedding. It’s the little things that Dan did for our wedding that really made the difference!

  Dan did an exceptional job at our wedding! We brought him in for the reception, but after the venue's mic setup wasn't working properly, Dan saved the day by lending more of his equipment. Leading up to the day, he was both responsive and receptive to our asks - jumping on calls and Zoom whenever we needed to coordinate critical details. Day of, he was clearly confident working with the venue staff to keep everything running smoothly. This was just one instance where his experience showed. Most important, he kept the dance floor packed all night! Start to finish, Dan was professional and simply fun to work with. We look forward to seeing him at friends' weddings in the future!

  Great DJ Experience

  Dan was extremely professional and was excellent at communicating with us to keep us on track. He was lovely to work with. We used the classical guitarist that Dan provided for our ceremony. He was superb.

  DJ Dan Inspires Wedding-goers

  Dan was a consummate professional. He was flexible with our (tight) schedule, yet always available when we needed him. He worked with us to develop a playlist including a processional and recessional song, providing inspiration when we needed it. At the wedding he worked the room like the pro he is. People LOVED the soundtrack of the day and were hard pressed to stop dancing. DJ Dan really made the reception (and he is a great guy to boot !). We give him our highest recommendation.

  Dan was a consummate professional. He was flexible with our (tight) schedule, yet always available when we needed him. He worked with us to develop a playlist including a processional and recessional song, providing inspiration when we needed it. At the wedding he worked the room like the pro he is. People LOVED the soundtrack of the day and were hard pressed to stop dancing. DJ Dan really made the reception (and he is a great guy to boot !). We give him our highest recommendation.

  amazing & highly recommend!!

  Dan was so great to work with! He was very responsive and organized which is extremely helpful for a bride with a lot on her plate. Dan was recommended by a friend and certainly did not disappoint! He had the crowd on the dance floor from start to finish and all our guests loved him! Dan is great at reading the crowd and playing the best music. We had such a fun night and it wouldn't have been the same without him as our DJ!! Would highly recommend to a friend (and already have a friend who wants to hire him for her upcoming wedding)!

  Incredible DJ!

  Hiring Dan was easily one of the best decisions that we made when planning our wedding! Leading up to the wedding, he couldn't have made planning any easier - he asked us a few question about our music preferences, song choices for the ceremony and reception, and day-of schedule though a very organized sharefile and check-in meeting, and then he proactively handled all of the rest of the logistics. He was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions or schedule updates, and was a clear and concise communicator.
  
  Day of the wedding, Dan was amazing. In response to COVID, we had reduced our guest list from about 150 to about 50. My husband and I were worried that the group would be too small to get a good dance party going. We had nothing to worry about - the dance floor was full all night! Dan kept playing hit after hit with incredible transitions - no awkward pauses - and our friends (many of which have strong opinions when it comes to music) could not stop RAVING about how incredible the DJ was!

  Best wedding DJ i've experienced.

  I'm biased, because it was my wedding, but DJ Dan Moran was incredible. Having been to at least 100 weddings, DJ Dan stood out as someone with a true passion for what he does. He had a variety of music that he mixed himself from across genres and decades to keep everyone happy and dancing the entire night. There were no lulls in the dancefloor, and Dan was so accommodating to our requests. (Absolutely NO Bruno Mars, and Monster Mash in June). He was constantly responsive, and worked with us to make sure the night was everything we could have hoped for. I cannot recommend Dan highly enough. We might hire him to come play at our house for the two of us on our anniversary. That's how good he was. HIRE DAN!

  Incredible!

  Dan was incredible to work with, even with the rescheduling of my wedding due to COVID. He's quick to respond & works to make sure that he fully understands you and your vision. He's an expert at reading the room and playing exactly the right track to keep the dance floor full all night. Highly recommend!

  Wedding on an island

  Dan was incredible working with us during COVID to pull of a wedding on Sheffield Island in Norwalk. There were some unique challenges - boat timing for pickup and dropoff of his equipment plus no power on the island! Dan had to work off a generator. No one would have known the difference. He was both MC and DJ for us and everything ran smoothly. His choice of music was exactly according to our tastes and gave us a sick afterparty playlist to take with us!

  Dan is seriously awesome! He was extremely organized, responsive, and gave great advice during the planning process (we planned the wedding ourselves with a lot of DIY components). He was very respectful of our music likes and dislikes and his choices for what songs to play when were on point for both cocktail hour and the reception. The best part was during the reception when he was actively mixing songs, not just playing from a list like a lot of other wedding DJs I've seen, so there was a ton of variety but everything worked really well together. The dance floor was packed all night and we got multiple comments from our guests throughout the night on how awesome he was! He also surprised us with a CD of recordings of our vows and speeches that he sent us right after the wedding, which we appreciated even more because we didnt have a videographer. We 100% recommend Dan!!
