We had the most amazing experience working with DJ Brennan Sullivan from Dan Goldman Events for our wedding at District Winery! He was an absolute pleasure throughout the entire planning process and made the entire experience so enjoyable. From our first call all the way until the final song, Brennan went above and beyond in every way and was always highly responsive. Having an incredible DJ was so important to us and Brennan is truly the best of the best. He is incredibly detail oriented and organized and really made the day feel like “us” from start to finish. Brennan was able to strike the perfect balance of music to keep all of our guests dancing all night and so many friends and family members reached out afterwards to say what an incredible time they had, specifically raving about how excellent the music was the entire night! Dan Goldman Events is your one stop shop for your wedding! We used them for lighting, DJ, and photobooth and all were top tier! Our DJ was DJ Brennan Sullivan and we was great! He was easy to work with and very attentive to all of our special requests and needs. It's been a few months since our wedding and our quests still tell us how great the music at our wedding was! Our guests also loved the photobooth and the attendant really helped the guests create our vision for the guest book which included them putting one of their photobooth photo strips in the guest book with a note. Everything was exactly how we pictured it! We'd definitely recommend Dan Goldman Events and DJ Brennan Sullivan for your wedding! -

We worked with Brennan for our July 2025 wedding and we truly cannot recommend him enough! We met with Brennan about a year before our wedding and instantly knew he was a great fit. He is professional, responsive, and pays attention to all the details you mention during your calls and emails. On the day of our wedding, Brennan adapted to all the last minute schedule changes flawlessly. When we only ended up with 1.5 hours of dancing, he made sure it was the best of the best. He is incredible at reading a crowd and figuring out how to get people dancing. I'm usually not one for mixing in and out of songs, but Brennan did it in a manner that never made anyone feel like they lost the best part of the song. Our wedding was mixed cultures and Brennan effortlessly included Egyptian wedding songs into the mix despite not knowing the language or the songs. And if that wasn't already impressive, he did this while also working with a saxophonist. Brennan really is the perfect choice if you want to have the dance floor of your dreams. I look back at our videos and all I see is our guests having the time of their lives -- many of whom reached out to tell us how amazing the music was! We are so, so grateful to him -- thank you, Brennan! -

Prepare to party!
DJ Ricardo knocked it out of the park!!! We had a long wishlist for our wedding: We wanted a bilingual DJ (English and Spanish) who could keep up the party AND come in at a great price… we got our entire list and then some! DJ Ricardo had our entire family on the dance floor throughout the night and didn’t have a single miss. Throughout the planning process, he was communicative, quick in responding and helpful. Thank you for making our big day one big memorable party! -

We absolutely loved working with DJ Brennan Sullivan from Dan Goldman Events for our wedding at Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion the second week of November. From the moment he arrived, he was an absolute rockstar ... and I'm not exaggerating. He handled our ceremony setup flawlessly, then seamlessly mixed our curated (and eclectic) playlists for cocktail hour and dinner (which spoke to who we were as a couple). When it came time for the reception, he brought our dance playlist to life in a way that felt electric and completely “us.”
Brennan really listened. He understood exactly what we were going for, kept a perfect balance of Spanish and English music for our families, and had an incredible sense for reading the room. He just knew how to get everyone ... yes, everyone ... on their feet with us.
On top of this, his personality is infectious. It genuinely felt like having a longtime friend behind the booth. He checked in on us throughout the night, radiated good energy, and added so much joy to the entire celebration.
We lost count of how many guests told us afterward how much they loved him and we agree wholeheartedly. Brennan helped make our wedding unforgettable. If you’re looking for a fun, down-to-earth, and truly amazing DJ, book Brennan. You won’t regret it. -

DJ Brennan found the perfect balance of music types to keep everyone dancing. Even my most introverted friends texted me after and said they had a blast dancing!
He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. For example, he walked everyone through the hora, as only one side of the family knew what to do. It was a great success, and no one was dropped from a chair! He also handled music requests from family and friends (that none of us were fully expecting) like a pro, and the night went incredibly smoothly. -

We had Dan Goldman Events as a recommended Vendor for our wedding celebration at District Winery in Washington DC. Goldman Events provided the lighting and connected us was Brennan Sullivan as a out DJ.
The lighting was amazing and well worth it. The lights really complemented the venue and communication with Dan Goldman and their Staff was great.
Working with our DJ, Brennan, was a great experience. Meeting with him on the phone and later on via email was very easy and he was very prompt with replies and follow ups with our questions and his to make sure we hit the right vibe for the different parts of our wedding celebration (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing).
We were able provide him with a lot of our musical interests and lists of things us and our guests wanted to hear. He did a great job with announcements and general MC'ing too. For our dance music he was able to weave together songs that really complemented the crowd. You could tell he was observing people to make sure and sew together tunes really seamlessly. -

We selected Brennan as the DJ and MC for our wedding based on the many positive reviews we had read. We are happy to report that the reviews were accurate. He was an excellent DJ and we would highly recommend him. In the run up to the wedding, Brennan communicated promptly and clearly. He provided us with materials to help us think about both the music for different parts of the evening and the flow of events. He was receptive to our music preferences and made sure he was clear about what was needed from him (e.g., announcements). For music, Brennan largely stuck to the list we provided, but (with permission) made adjustments as he saw fit. The dance floor was full for pretty much the whole evening, with guests singing along to a lot of songs. He stuck to all the parameters we gave him (e.g., clean versions because we had kids present). The volume was perfect for the venue. Brennan provided microphones for our ceremony and for the speeches. The audio quality was excellent. As MC, he was excellent. He communicated clearly, efficiently, and on time (e.g., calling groups for photos at the designated times). Overall, Brennan was highly professional, easy to work with, and absolutely contributed to everyone’s enjoyment of the evening. -

Brennan was absolutely fantastic — from his professionalism to his creative energy. He truly went above and beyond to help make our wedding night perfect.
Everything unfolded flawlessly, and it’s clear that came from a great deal of preparation on Brennans part. We’ve received so many wonderful comments from our friends and family about him and his work.
Honestly, we can’t think of a single thing Brennan could have done better. It was simply perfect. I would highly recommend his services for your events, let alone your wedding. Rest assured you’re in good hands! I will exclusively only use Brennan for any future events. It's not even close when it comes down to other DJ's in the area. They are a tier above the rest -

Brennan Sullivan emcee'd and DJ'd our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Our original plan was to have a live band at our wedding, but ~10 days out it became clear to us that the band--while talented--didn't have the experience to run the technical/logistical aspects of the wedding. We reached out to Dan Goldman at the last minute, and he quickly and calmly walked us through our options and connected us with Brennan Sullivan.
Brennan was great. He was extremely nice/responsive/professional, and even on short turnaround helped us put playlists together (in the style we were looking for) for those parts of the wedding where the band would not be playing. We barely had to talk to him about technical/logistical elements (e.g., ceremony)--he already knew exactly what to do.
It's impossible to overstate how much easier our lives became once Brennan came on board. 10/10, would highly recommend. -

Brennan was a highlight of our night. We could not have asked for a more perfect DJ and the lead up to the event was a breeze. We admittedly were a bit decision fatigued by the time it came to making choices around music but Brennan made it as easy as possible. He has a great system to understand what you are looking for and can take that direction and run. Even then we only had it in us to provide minimal direction, but Brennan was able to deliver perfectly. There was not one point in the night that I felt that I needed to step in and give any direction, or correction. I would recommend Brennan to anyone who would ask. -

My husband and I got married August 2025 and Dan Goldman events provided bistro lightning for our wedding and Brennan Sullivan was our DJ. We can not recommend them enough!!! From inquiry we were met with professionalism. Dan, Kathleen, and Brennan were amazing to talk to and timely with their responses. DJ Brennan has great energy and was really great to work with for the year and a half leading up the wedding and on the big day. He kept the dance floor packed and alive throughout the evening and many of our guests were impressed and complimentary of him. The bistro lightning was also perfect. Planning a wedding is hard work so you appreciate when vendors are responsive, organized, professional, and competent. This is the case with Dan Goldman Events. They gave us a few options for DJs, we went with Brennan Sullivan and we couldn't have been more satisfied with it. He was courteous and professional and did a fantastic job picking music with relatively little guidance from us (as we were so overwhelmed with dealing with the rest of the wedding preparation). Genuinely, i've never seen the dance floor more consistently packed at a wedding. Would definitely recommend! Great job and thank you! -

I hired DJ Ricardo through Dan Goldman Events for my wedding, based on a glowing recommendation from my wedding coordinators. I asked for someone “experienced, professional, and fun” — and DJ Ricardo delivered on all fronts!
Our guest list ranged from toddlers to grandparents (quite literally from 1 to 100 years old), so it was really important to us that the music be family-friendly and keep the energy high. DJ Ricardo absolutely understood the assignment. The dance floor was buzzing all night, and we got so many compliments on the playlist — both during the wedding and the next day.
We also booked a photobooth through Dan Goldman Events, and if you're on the fence about adding one: do itttt! It was a MASSIVE hit! Our photobooth attendant was amazing, and to give you an idea of how fun it was — even my 96-year-old grandmother went through it multiple times (Sidenote: I also have video proof of her dancing in her seat throughout the night — a testament to DJ Ricardo’s vibes!).
To top it all off, we felt the overall value was fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Dan Goldman Events again. -

Brennan was a really energetic, fun, and reliable MC and DJ throughout our wedding. Our crowd was a mix of mostly age 30s-70s, and Brennan kept the group engaged and dancing the whole time. I especially appreciated how easy the planning process was, given that weddings involve so many detailed decisions. Brennan gathered information on the front end about what type of music and mood we were going for, any specific requests we had, and then he read the crowd and made it happen! He even accommodated an on-the-spot song request I had. If a friend of mine were getting married in this area, I would 100% recommend Dan Goldman Events, and DJ Brennan in particular!! -

Absolutely LOVED working with DJ Ricardo for our wedding at the Larz Anderson House in DC. He was incredible. From the moment the dance floor opened, it was on. He knew exactly how to read the crowd, drop the right songs at the perfect time, and keep the energy high. The dance floor was packed the entire night.
We had a bunch of different cultural traditions woven into the night, and DJ Ricardo handled it with total ease. He was super accommodating, flexible, and made it all flow seamlessly. Every transition felt natural, every moment had the perfect soundtrack behind it.
It honestly felt like we were at the best party of our lives (because we were). Friends and family haven’t stopped talking about how epic the dance floor was.

DJ Brennan Sullivan was the perfect choice for our wedding. He was extremely responsive leading up to our wedding. He is so kind. He MC'd the actual wedding and really helped the flow of events go smoothly without any hiccups. The cocktail hour music and dinner music were very different from each other and both were exactly what we wanted. We even had several guests tell us the next day how much they loved the music! DJ Brennan Sullivan DJ'd our wedding earlier this spring, and he was fantastic. He was very professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process, to the point where music and entertainment was nothing we had to worry about. In the leadup to our wedding, Brennan clearly laid out all of the details and took great effort into understanding what we were looking for in terms of entertainment.
For the actual wedding, Brennan absolutely delivered. The sound system was set up and worked great, and Brennan's MC presence was exactly what we wanted. The music DJ Brennan played was spot-on, and he did an amazing job getting people on he dance floor. It was easy to tell that Brennan was comfortable on the mic, and was able to handle any type of situation.
We really enjoyed working with DJ Brennan, and would strongly recommend him for anyone's event or wedding! -

DJ Romy 10/10!
We recently got married and used DJ Romy from Dan Goldman Events and he was an absolute rock star! He reached out to us weeks before the event and immediately put our minds at ease and removed any of our music related stresses. DJ Romy is professional, affable, and was great with communication and responsiveness throughout the entire process. At the wedding itself he crushed it as both a host and DJ. He read the crowd perfectly throughout the night, and seamlessly blended Latin & American music for our multicultural wedding. The dance floor is always a good indicator of how successful a wedding reception is, and DJ Romy had ours packed and bumping all night long. Our guests were literally chanting for encore songs at the end of the night (which DJ Romy obliged). DJ Romy created an amazing atmosphere for our wedding and we are incredibly grateful and would recommend him 10/10 times to anyone looking for a top tier DJ. -

Our experience with Dan Goldman Events and their team was absolutely flawless. From the pipe and drape to the uplighting, the stage to DJ entertainment, everything that Dan Goldman Events contributed to our wedding was professional, timely, and reasonably priced for the extremely high quality and exceptional support.
Particularly, due to a late breaking health issue with our planned wedding DJ, we had to pivot just ahead of the wedding to add DJ Aaron to our wedding entertainment and list of things Dan Goldman Events were providing us. With only a little over two weeks, DJ Aaron met with us to get up to speed on our vision, helped augment our ceremony and playlist, and emcee'd a beautiful ceremony and awesome reception. Sound quality across ceremony and reception was excellent. Multiple guests, ourselves included, had difficulty leaving the dance floor as it was hit after hit, banger after banger. We also had a second line band (separate provider) guiding guests to the dance floor after dinner. DJ Aaron and team went above and beyond to coordinate with the second line to seamlessly pass off music between the brass to the DJ without our micromanagement. Especially with the short timeline and limited direction, DJ Aaron Platt and Dan Goldman Events far surpassed our expectations. Highly recommend. -

In short: Believe the hype. If you’re a worry-wart groom like me, trying to figure out how to get the DJ sorted, just drop Dan Goldman Events a line and ask for DJ Brennan. Your partner (and guests!) will thank you.
Where to even begin! DJ Brennan is professional, he's easy to work with, he responds to emails quickly, and he has a fantastic ear for getting tracks queued up. His MC'ing is perfect - he kept the reception moving along on time without ever once making it feel rushed. (Cannot overstate how much that impressed me in particular, we had a pretty short reception, no idea how he pulled that off!) The equipment he bought to the venue (mics, sound system, etc) worked perfectly and sounded great, and he had no problem tracking down our slightly-deep-cut song requests for the entrance and exit.
Weddings are all about vibes, and I was worried that our reception’s vibe would be tricky to capture. We had a morning travel wedding, so while half the guests would be ready to party, the other half were going to be jetlagged and wanting to drink mimosas and catch up with family and friends. To complicate things further, our venue space was indoors and pretty tight. How on earth, I worried, could any DJ possibly thread that needle? How do you calibrate the music just right, so everyone gets what they want? How can a reception be simultaneously a dance party AND a chill brunch?
Well, *I* don’t know how to pull that off. But DJ Brennan does! He absolutely nailed it. The guests who wanted a dance party got a dance party, the guests who wanted their chill big family brunch got their chill big family brunch. I had family from both sides of that equation come up to me afterwards and absolutely rave about him; his track selection, his MC’ing, everything. I have absolutely no idea how he did it, but I guess that’s why he’s a super highly rated events DJ and I am not.
Dan Goldman Events as a whole is great to work with and their prices are incredibly fair for the superb quality of service you’re getting. Shoutout to Kathleen Doyle – I was clueless about this whole process but she made it incredibly easy, and never made me feel dumb (even when I knew I was being dumb lol). Also, payment is straightforward and easy. None of the “submit a check by carrier pigeon” stuff you run into with vendors occasionally.
So to the groom-to-be reading this, who has been assigned DJ duty and is terrified of messing up, have no fear. Dan Goldman events will get you sorted. -

We worked with DJ Brennan from Dan Goldman Events for our wedding, and he was amazing!!!!! He was able to work with us to include both common songs on Spotify as well as a custom recording to our ceremony, and everything sounded amazing. During the reception all of our guests kept coming up to us telling us how amazing the playlist was! It was so fantastic to be able to give him a few "must plays" and let him take care of the rest - our dance floor was packed from the moment the reception kicked off until it ended! Brennan also had great attention to detail - when plans changed for songs, he discretely double checked with us and went with the changes so seamlessly. He was wonderful with all of the announcements, introductions, and general flow of the day as well. We could not recommend him enough!!! -

DJ Brennan Sullivan made the dance floor come to life throughout the entire night, you will not regret having his services apart of your big day. To start, we were recommended to seek Brennan’s DJ and MC services through our wedding coordinator. Once we got in contact with Dan Goldman Events, we were able to set up a call with Brennan where he made us feel very welcome. When speaking with Brennan, we quickly realized his professionalism and passion for music. Brennan made the process very smooth and didn’t task us at all to find music that we would suggest. Instead Brennan took a handful of our favorite songs and genres, then turned that into an unforgettable reception. Prior to the reception, Brennan didn’t miss a beat during the ceremony. All of our planned walk out songs sounded incredible. Over cocktail hour and the reception, Brennan never played a song that felt out of place. Each song whether it was over dinner, cake cutting, or dancing, always matched the rhythm of the guests and timeline. The style of music and timing of the songs were excellent and brought out the dancing in everybody! Lastly, Brennan’s MC dynamic and voice for reception introductions and announcements were also executed perfectly. -

DJ Brennan was fantastic from start to finish! In the pre-planning phase, he took the time to understand exactly what we envisioned, bringing his own experience and insights from past events to ensure everything would go smoothly. He was incredibly professional, organized, and receptive to our requests, which made us feel so confident going into the big day.
On the day of the reception, he worked seamlessly with our event planner to keep everything on track, from key announcements to smooth transitions, while keeping the energy high. He read the crowd perfectly, striking the ideal balance to get everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. We had lots of guests complimenting the music and overall vibe afterward! He created a fun, memorable atmosphere that was everything we hoped for. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a talented, attentive DJ to bring their wedding vision to life! -

We used Dan Goldman for our DJ/MC, photo booth, and lighting for our wedding reception at the Barns at Wolf Trap. From initial contact, everyone we worked with was responsive, communicated clearly, and provided helpful insight as we planned the reception. DJ Brennan kept the dance floor active all night long, using a blend of songs we provided and others based on a read of the crowd to create a great playlist with broad appeal. He was flexible day of with changes to our plan and handled all the MC work just as well as the DJing. He was also extremely kind and fun to work with. Lighting and photobooth were set up perfectly with time to spare. The photobooth was so much fun and we had guests using it all night. -

Brennan did an incredible job as our emcee and DJ at our wedding. We found Brennan via Dan Goldman Events and was recommended to us by very close friends whose wedding we attended and enjoyed.
Prior to the wedding Brennan was very communicative about our needs/wants and provided recommendations on wedding schedule, process, music, etc. and provided any advice we had in response. His response time to emails was same day.
During the reception Brennan did a great job keeping things flowing and the overall vibe we were going for. -

Our experience with Dan Goldman events was great from start to finish. Our wedding was very complex, with two ceremonies and a reception in 3 different spots, both American and Indian music, and a tight timeline. Despite this, DJ Ricardo executed the entire day flawlessly. My father even asked last minute for intro and outro music to his speech, and DJ Ricardo graciously made it happen as well. He really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled perfectly, even asking for audio recordings of name pronunciations for our speakers to make sure everyone's name was pronounced correctly.
We were worried that since we didn't have a big dance crowd in our guest list the dance floor would be sparse, but DJ Ricardo managed to get everyone (including my grandma) on the dance floor. You will not regret hiring him!!
Lauryn, who managed our photobooth, was also hilarious and brought amazing energy! We couldn't have been happier with our experience!! -

My husband and I learned of this company from a friend's wedding. We actually had the best time and joked that we werent sure our wedding could even come close. So naturally, we decided we must have them at our wedding also. We never left the dance floor at our friend's wedding and I remember going up to Dan after the wedding and saying that we weren't engaged yet but would be soon and that he would be hearing from us. Well, just a month later he got the call from us and remembered me saying that.
Dan was so helpful on the phone and was great with helping us pick a DJ that fit our vibe and budget. Dan recommended Aaron Platt and we are so happy with him. He listened to all our requests, understood our vibe, and was SO incredibly professional during our meetings. We could tell immediately that he was on our team, knew what he was doing, and would make this the best night ever.
I was especially blown away because our planner, who has seen a thing or two, was impressed by his questions and organization.
The day went so smoothly, he took our playlists and made them flow perfectly, and we had SO much fun on the dancefloor. We had the best time. Thank you, Arron! You NAILED it -

DJ Brennan was one of the highlights of our wedding. He was amazing at pre-planning and suggesting ideas that have worked well for timeline planning, and music suggestions. Then day of our wedding, he showed up on time and ready to go with all of his equipment. For our reception, Brennan kept the dance floor packed ALL night long - which is exactly what we wanted! He truly read the crowd. After our wedding, many guests commented how much fun the event was or that it was one of the most fun weddings they had been to. In large part, we credit that to Brennan. Again, I cannot recommend Brennan enough. I will strongly recommend him/Dan Goldman Events to anyone in need of a DJ. -

Brennan Sullivan was the best wedding DJ I could have ever imagined!! He was professional from the very beginning, getting in touch with us early in the planning process and providing us with all the resources we needed to share the vision we had with him. We ended up making a very long playlist of songs we would imagine being played at our wedding (largely based off of the playlists he provided), and gave him the creative reigns to get the dance floor going. He CRUSHED it! He did an awesome job reading the crowd, kept the party going, and was an awesome MC. I had multiple guests tell me he was the best DJ/MC they have heard at a wedding. He also remembered little details I told him wayyyy in advance that I honestly even forgot about, making our day perfect! 11/10 hire him!!! -

We can't recommend Brennan enough for couples out there looking for an AMAZING wedding DJ. Brennan was professional, prompt, attentive, easy to work with, and he created the perfect "vibe" for our big day. We put together an extensive playlist (with a dozen or so must plays) and Brennan executed the agenda to a tee while keeping the "run of show" moving exactly according to plan. We've now been married for 3 weeks and here are some quotes received from our guests:
"Best music I've heard at a wedding"
"Playlist was immaculate - no notes"
"Banger after banger...what was that remix he played??"
We could keep going with the quotes, but trust that you won't be disappointed after hiring Brennan as your DJ/MC. We had some fairly niche intro + song requests and Brennan happily crushed it out of the park. The day was a blur, but I'll always remember gratefully thanking Brennan at the end of the night for doing such an amazing job (and for having 60 peoples' hands in the air on the dance floor all night).

Brennan DJ'd our wedding in April of 2024, and we couldn't be happier! A few things:
1) In the leadup to the wedding, when my wife and I were overwhelmed with logistics, he was super helpful in guiding our music selection and was extremely flexible in the songs to select. He nailed all of our "must plays", successfully banished all of our "please don't play" and mixed in a solid selection of his choices and some suggestions we had to make for a dynamic dancefloor.
2) His stage presence was great, clearly communicating logistics to our guests and MCing speeches while making sure the attention was on the speakers (and ourselves!). Couldn't have asked for anything more.
3) He was exceptionally knowledgeable about our venue - River Farm in Alexandria, VA. He knew the local noise ordinances, so knew how to set things up so we'd have fun but not get in trouble 😬. He was obviously familiar with the ebb and flow of the venue as well, so knew how to draw people back onto the dance floor when things calmed down. 10/10 vibe curation.

We booked DJ Brennan Sullivan for our wedding a couple of weeks ago and we’ve been trying to figure out how to go back and time and relive the day over and over ever since! From the ceremony to the exit we were so impressed with how seamless everything was! Brennan managed to keep all our guests on track and then absolutely lit up the dance floor with his song choices! We didn’t have a strong idea of a song list before so we trusted Brennan to read the room and I can honestly say I have never seen more people dancing through the entire reception of a wedding before this! We had so much fun and have had multiple guests reach out to tell us how amazing our DJ was (I swear I am not just saying this. People were floored!!) Phil was amazing! He did such an amazing job getting the dance floor moving. We really enjoyed how he was able to weave all of our favorites into the evening from oldies to new-ies. He also had an awesome remix of the hora--quite a fun surprise :)
