Dancefloor PACKED all night long!

DJ DMac is the real deal! He DJ'd my cousin's wedding 10 years ago and we couldn't wait to hire him for our nuptials. Once again, the dancefloor was full from beginning to end. The music was on point! He listened to our wish list to create a memorable and magical night for everyone involved. Definitely recommend!

The Best!!

We are so grateful we chose DJ D-Mac & Associates for our wedding — and especially lucky to have worked with Daryle. He is a true music aficionado. He spent real time getting to know our taste and took our love of Top 20, Motown, and Latin music to create an absolutely incredible playlist. The way he blended everything together was seamless, and his mixes were INCREDIBLE. We genuinely didn’t want the dance party to end!

Daryle orchestrated the entire vibe of our wedding to perfection. He’s also incredibly easy to work with and made the whole experience stress-free. We booked full DJ services plus uplighting, and the lighting added such a gorgeous pop to the space.

We can’t recommend DJ D-Mac & Associates enough! Our guests are still talking about it!

DJ D-Mac is a must!

It was an absolute pleasure working with DJ D-Mac! He is highly professional and responsive, and was super accommodating of our (admittedly somewhat eccentric!) music preferences. He is also just a *fantastic* DJ: the dance floor was packed the entire evening, and he managed to seamlessly blend a bunch of different genres and eras of music in a way we didn't realize was possible. Just fantastic stuff. Highly recommend.

Non-stop dancing!

DN D-Mac did an awesome job for my wedding. The dance floor was incredibly packed all night. We had a couple very odd requests - a few irish songs, a spot of salsa music - which he handled quite well. The transitions between songs were excellent, and he did a great job selecting music to mine and the bride's taste. It was a ton of fun and I could not imagine a better time.

I've dreamt of this dancefloor for a decade.

DJ D-Mac was one of the first "wedding day details" we locked in.

After my wife and I got engaged, we pretty much immediately dove headfirst into wedding planning. One of the first things we knew is that we wanted to work with a DJ rather than a band. And I knew I wanted to work with DJ D-Mac. The first time I saw D-Mac spin a set was at a friend's wedding in 2014, and I was blown away. At every wedding since then, I've measured other DJs' performances against what I saw (and couldn't stop dancing to) that day.

His ability to blend songs, flowing from one crowd pleaser to the next while pairing them in unexpected and delightful ways kept the dancefloor packed and moving all night. Once we'd finished the official wedding business of speeches, toasts, and cake cutting, I ducked my head over to the DJ booth and said, "I don't wanna leave the dancefloor for the next three hours." Unsurprisingly, he delivered exactly what my wife and I -- and all of our guests -- were looking for.

Since our wedding in September, the most consistent feedback we've received from wedding guests is how incredible our DJ was and how much fun they had at our reception. Seriously, I wish I'd kept a log of the number of times "y'all's DJ was amazing" or something similar has been said or texted to me. We're already looking for an excuse to throw another party so we have a reason to work with D-Mac again.

In addition to delivering day-of magic, D-Mac was a pleasure to work with, thanks to his creativity and professionalism. Do yourself a favor and book him as soon as you know your wedding date.

Unforgettable Beats: Our Dream Wedding DJ

We couldn’t have been happier with DJ D-Mac and his team for our wedding! The sound was absolutely perfect, creating the ideal atmosphere for our special day. He stuck closely to our playlist but also added in some fantastic songs that we hadn’t considered, which really set the mood and kept everyone dancing all night long.

From the very beginning, he was extremely professional throughout the planning process, taking the time to understand our vision and preferences. This level of care continued on the night of the event, where he managed everything seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our celebration.

The dance floor was never empty—he had a real knack for reading the crowd and maintaining the energy. Our guests had a blast!

One of our favorite highlights was the uplighting he provided. The color-changing effects were stunning and added an extra layer of excitement to the evening.

Excellent and Professional DJ

DJ D-Mac worked with us from the beginning to get a sense of our musical preferences and understand our needs for the wedding day, which included working with our videographer for audio, officiant, and a string quartet during the ceremony. The online portal he set up was great for communication and visibility for us and our other vendors, including our planner.

During the event, the sounds were great throughout the 3 different spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner/reception. We had several guests compliment DJ D-Mac and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ.

If you love music, this is the only DJ you need to look at...

If you need a DJ for your wedding, please get DJ D-Mac. If he is not available on the day of your wedding, please change the date of your wedding to a date when he is available. That’s how good he is.

We did NOT want the typical “wedding DJ” with the typical songs, the banter, and that… voice. We are music lovers. Our kids are music lovers. Our family is filled with music lovers, and we wanted one thing – to have the perfect music at every single moment of our wedding (and to keep the dance floor filled the entire night). DJ D-Mac delivered, and even exceeded those lofty expectations.

From our first phone conversation, he connected with us, got a sense of our musical tastes and background, and really worked with us to define the flow of the evening, and the different types of music for ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and dancing. We gave him some specific songs, and genres, and then trusted him to create the perfect playlist, which he did.

The most incredible part of the evening was when everyone hit the dance floor, and DJ D-Mac proceeded to blend one song into another, from contemporary, Motown, 80s progressive, disco, all without missing a beat. The floor was filled all night, until the final song. Every single guest, from age 10 to 80 commented on how great the music was, and what an amazingly different wedding DJ we had found. I would recommend DJ D-Mac for any wedding or event where finding the right music is important.

DAR Constitution Hall Wedding

We hired DJ D-Mac and Associates for our wedding at Constitution Hall and they absolutely blew us away. Stephen was incredible and did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor and the party going. The microphone and acoustics were also excellent during our ceremony. Finally, the lighting at night was absolutely stunning. 10/10 would recommend in a heartbeat!

Flawless DJing!

We loved working with Steven aka DJ Stereo Faith at our wedding. He kept the dance floor energized all night long and somehow always knew what song would get people dancing whenever the energy started to ebb. Multiple guests mentioned the dance floor as their favorite part of our event! Steven also did a great job making announcements at just the right time to let our guests know what was coming up and keep our event flowing smoothly. All of the audio for our wedding, from the ceremony, to the dinner toasts was top-notch quality. We would definitely recommend DJ Stereo Faith to bring the vibes to your event!

Highly Recommend!

Called DJ D-Mac at the beginning of our wedding planning process and couldn't be happier we found them. DJ D-Mac was great on the phone, explained their process and transparent pricing, and set up us with DJ Stereo Faith for our wedding. DJ Stereo Faith made everything super easy and straightforward and repeatedly went the extra mile to make things perfect at our slightly quirky wedding venue. Oh and the music and dance party was perfect for us -- just what we wanted (I think it seamlessly transitioned from Ginuwine's "Pony" to "Mama Mia" at one point? Amazing.) Highly recommend them!

5/5 stars! DJ Stylus and the DJ D-Mac and Associates team gave us more than we asked for. We wanted a fun, energetic dance party at our wedding and they went over and above. We provided a list of songs for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception, however we encouraged the team to use their professionalism/creativity to go above and beyond our suggestions. They also understand, only after 2-3 short phone calls exactly what we needed - so were low maintenance vendors. We had many guests say that they "couldn't leave the dance floor" cause they were having such a good time. Thank you so much!

He nailed it!

DJ Rhome was an awesome choice for our wedding. We had a lot going on and his flexibility was what we needed. We are very laid back and he was very fitting. The soundtrack to our perfect wedding

As a couple who was reluctant to use a DJ vs. band, we couldn't have been happier for our decision to have DJ D-Mac & Associates for the music at our wedding. From our initial phone call learning about their approach to weddings, to keeping the energy going for 4 hours straight on the dance floor...we can't recommend them enough. Great experience with DJ Stylus during a difficult time

We found DJ D-Mac through online reviews and ultimately decided on them based on the professionalism and kindness throughout the initial processes. DJ Stylus was very easy to work with -- communication was open and all the steps were very transparent. While the pandemic happened right in the middle of our wedding planning, both DJ D-Mac and DJ Stylus helped us along the way and really mitigated a lot of the potential stress. Ultimately, the wedding went off without a hitch and we thought he did a great job managing the mic and music throughout the evening. We definitely recommend them!

Amazing experience with DJ Stylus

A coworker recommended DJ D-Mac after using his team for her wedding and we are so happy she did! We worked with DJ Stylus who was amazing from beginning to end. Any tasks or song lists we needed to submit he had scheduled with reminders and he had great recommendations for songs we weren't sure on like entrance songs and cake cutting etc which made the whole process much less stressful. DJ Stylus handled all of our special requests, and put them on without a hitch (including playing a mash up "Baby Shark" and "We Are the Champions" when The National's Running President arrived :)). The best by far was the dance party we had all night, everyone from our parents to our college friends were on the dance floor the whole night and it was exactly what we wanted. To make it even better DJ Stylus sent our full song list to us after the wedding, a little touch you may not think of but we're so glad he did and that we now have that to dance party every anniversary :). DJ Stylus brought the party!

We wanted our wedding to feel like a party, and DJ Stylus (Rhome) delivered 100%. Super easy to work with from the start. Everything is in a project management platform so nothing gets missed. It showed. We had entrances, dances, and speeches and not a hiccup. Everything was super smooth. And everyone was on the dance floor. We asked for a mix of South Asian (my wife's family is Punjabi so bhangra was a must), Latin, and hip-hop/dance including some throw-backs (we're 40ish). DJ Stylus chose and mixed songs SO well. Rihanna to DJ Sanj to Marc Anthony? Yes! Wish we could relive it. Next best, he sent us a recording and it's on our list to see him when he plays in DC sometime in 2020. Strongly recommend.

Perfect Soundtrack

Dc wedding

The only thing I wanted was for guests to dance at my wedding. I was so nervous that the dance floor would be empty. I relaxed as soon as the tunes began because DJ KC killed it from start to finish! He plated the perfect dinner music, my parents loved it and guests kept coming up to our table and telling us how great the music was. After dinner it was party time! KC didn’t miss a beat and everyone was already up and moving before I was! I was so happy to see my guests dancing and singing along to all the songs KC was playing! Dance Party of Our Dreams!

We hired DJ KC on recommendation of our friends, and he was fantastic! We hired him through the manager, Daryle, who was responsive and easy to work with. He set up a BaseCamp for us to communicate with the whole team, which made the process easy. DJ KC gave us lots of helpful tools to create a playlist and a timeline. Most importantly, he absolutely crushed the playlist! He played the obscure songs we wanted to hear, mixed in seamlessly with crowd favorites. He took requests, but was judicious in playing them, and kept everyone dancing the whole night away! He was very nice and professional, and a calming presence during the wedding. He kept us on the timeline but was also flexible. Could not recommend highly enough!

What a pleasure!

It was a pleasure to work with Ty Hussell! There are very few people I've worked with in any field who conduct themselves with Ty's level of thoughtfulness and professionalism. He listened carefully to the mood we were trying to express during cocktail hour and wedding reception and nailed it. Of the genres and artists we discussed, he was also excellent at reading the dance floor and choosing the best song for the moment. I had a few specific wedding ceremony audio processing requests for Ty, and he was patient and very easy to work with. Due to a family emergency, we had some last-minute modifications to our event and he was incredibly supportive and helpful there too. Ty is one of those rare people that you just know after talking to him that you can trust 100% to do a great job, and we would recommend him without reservation to anyone. He was a valued member of our team, and a gracious and kind human to boot! We really loved working with him.

You want Rhome for your wedding!

Working with DJ D-Mac and Associates was a great experience. They have a project management platform for keeping organized and communicating. Although DJ Stylus had DJ'd at my venue before, I appreciate that he still visited the venue in advance and was communicating with their staff on logistics.

DJ Stylus as great DJ. He DJ'd our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The nice touch after the wedding is he provided us a list of all the songs that he played during the wedding.

We're so glad we hired Daryl and his team at DJ D-Mac & Associates, who came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator. Daryl's a total pro, who made the planning process easy, with step-by-step instructions for identifying exactly what we wanted for sound and music on our wedding day (and also lighting and photo booth services). On the day of, Daryl made sure the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception speeches ran smoothly and just the way we had planned, without any glitches or delays. And as for the dancing, which was particularly important to us, Daryl did a spectacular job -- weaving together perfectly chosen hits, ensuring that each song flowed smoothly into the next, and wowing everyone with a light show coordinated to the music. We had a great experience with Daryle (DJ DMAC) & Steven (DJ Stereo Faith)! When we first began searching for a DJ, we were turned off by many vendors who seemed like cheesy wedding DJs. When we found Daryle & Steven, we realized they were totally different, and more in line with what we were looking for. Steven was willing to share some venues he was playing in DC, so we actually got to scope him out at a club beforehand. I think it was definitely to our advantage to have a DJ who is current and still active in many venues in the area, and isn't just limited to weddings. We had multiple phone calls with Steven before the wedding, which really allowed us to fine-tune exactly what we were looking for from our DJ. When we asked for advice, Steven had really helpful suggestions as far as the flow of the night. The only thing that was less than ideal during the event planning was being made to use Basecamp for communication - you get a lot of redundant emails from this system, and it was annoying to search through every individual thread on the platform to find part of a previous conversation. However, I do understand why they use this system - so all of the information is in one place if a backup DJ needs to step in.

Steven was very aware of our schedule throughout the wedding reception - we appreciated him prompting us when things were coming up (such as cake cutting and parent dances), and checking in to offer us more time when we fell slightly behind schedule. On top of all of that, Steven absolutely crushed the music for the night! It was a perfect mix of classic songs that get everyone on the dance floor, in addition to some more modern music that we wanted. In addition, Daryle & Steven were flexible and helpful when we wanted to add ceremony sound services just a couple of weeks before the event. Also, their pricing was completely reasonable. We truly had a great time dancing with all of our family and friends, & are so happy we went with DJ Stereo Faith!

We can't recommend DJ D-Mac and Associates highly enough!! We specifically requested DJ Stylus because we'd heard his global sets around town and knew that he would be able to cover the range of genres we wanted at our wedding. And, DJ Stylus knocked it out the park!! From beginning to end, he had the ENTIRE wedding reception packed on the dance floor the entire evening--even our friends who never dance! Our reception was far and away the best dance party, ever! DJ Stylus created a fun vibe with incredible mashups of oldies with pop hits, to classic sing-a-longs and romantic slow dance songs, from 90s and 00s jams to new grass to dancehall; he even inspired a lively conga line and later a soul train line to Jackson 5! His range and ability to read a crowd is phenonmenal.

DJ Stylus was responsive and easy to work with throughout the process. He was familiar with our venue and coordinated directly with the event planner for audio set up such that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were seamless. He was open to our ideas and respectful our of do-not-play list. Without a doubt, we'd hire DJ Stylus again and add an extra hour!

One issue I tend to have with wedding vendor reviews is that there seems to be grade inflation. Thus 5 star ratings are given out so frequently that it loses meaning. I am trying to provide some context with my review to let other people delineate between different high quality vendors. DJ DMac came highly recommended from Sandra at Clarendon Ballroom, which is where we had our ceremony and reception, and he delivered. We don’t have especially sophisticated taste in music, but knew that the music is key to setting the mood and keeping people on the dancefloor, which was important to us. He also did the lighting, and I think is highly capable of doing more than the relatively basic uplighting package that we got. We had a few phone conversations to talk about how the night would unfold, key moments, and the types of music we wanted. One unique note is that we discussed certain types of ethnic music we wanted during the wedding (special request based on my husband’s heritage) and it seems that DJ DMac called an audible and didn’t play that music during the event. Personally I think DJ DMac notice how successful the music he played was and didn’t want to ruin the vibe. I was personally fine with the audible because it worked in our situation, honestly I admire the chutzpah to be independent and focus on the quality of the wedding than the preferences of the wedding party. Overall I am more pleased with the DJ DMac than any other vendor at the wedding.

* Daryl was really flexible and easy to work with and in the end helped us out with some tough choices

* Ty (our DJ) was extremely flexible and put us at ease

* Our intro meeting with Ty left us feeling extremely confident

* He had great suggestions about flow & timing

* He worked with the photographer to coordinate send-off

* He took whatever blueprint we could come up with for him and filled in all the gaps

* We got a ton of compliments on the music -- the mix & fun of it, and the fact that the volume was never so loud that people needed to yell over it. The leveling was perfect.

* He did great editing of our (non-traditional) ceremony music and timed them perfectly

* If DJ D-Mac has people like Ty, I can't recommend them highly enough

* He was incredibly warm and personable each time we got to interact with him. He's a genuinely nice person.

* He was the opposite of a cheesy wedding DJ

* We could choose which DJ was right for us -- the bios, etc.

* The lighting was also great. We said we didn't want too much and I think they delivered fun but more subtle lighting.

* D-Mac uses Basecamp for all communication, which was a bit of overkill.

We originally spoke to Daryle when booking with DJ D-Mac & Associates and he asked us some great questions to narrow down exactly what we needed even though we’d never hired a DJ before. We decide to book a lighting package too and I can’t imagine our reception without Daryle and Neal there to keep the party going. They kept the dance floor packed all night long and it was awesome to have the LED uplights pulsing to the music while the records were spinning. Our guests had so much fun and were talking for weeks about how great the DJ and lighting was.

Daryle was great to work with and is highly recommended. In our first conversation he quickly grasped what we wanted at our wedding and also recommended some new bands to me. He kept in touch via an online scheduling system which helpfully reminded me what I needed to do before the big day, was flexible enough to add ceremony DJ services with less than 24 hours' notice, and helped to live-stream a speech from a family member who was unable to make it.
The music that Daryle played was spot on and he had everyone up and dancing for the whole reception. I would definitely recommend DJ Mac for any event.

We had a great experience with DJ DMac! He made it very easy for us to put together a plan for our DJ services and set us up with one of the DJ's who is part of his group. We ended up working with DJ KC who did an awesome job at our wedding. He worked with us extensively to make sure that he knew the music we wanted and how to MC the reception. We are so happy that we booked Daryle of DJ DMac and Associates for our wedding! (He is the owner of the company/ head DJ). He was referred to me by my sister, who happened to attend the wedding of a friend who had hired him as their DJ. My sister raved about how much fun they had and how she loved his music choices, so I was sold. From the beginning Daryle was professional and responsive. We met him once before the wedding, and then had various conversations via Basecamp and email. Basecamp is a really easy to use project management tool that allows you to store all conversations, wedding playlists, samples of songs, etc in one place.

We gave some direction as far as the "do not play" songs and also the "must play" but other than that we left it up to him. He did a great job at reading the crowd and changing the music based on the vibe of the room. As the bride, I remember looking around and seeing so many people on the dance floor toward the end of the night and it was so exciting!! I had a few comments from friends/family that it was the best wedding dj they had heard.

We had a great experience with DJ D-Mac and Associates, who we found through a recommendation by a friend. Daryle was extremely responsive and friendly while we inquiring about DJ options, songs/music, costs, etc., and Neal (aka DJ Neville C) did a fantastic job at our wedding, which took place in a big courtyard at a historic home in downtown DC.

In particular, we'd loved how flexible everyone was up until the day of the wedding, which was a little hectic because there was a 60% chance of thunderstorms and we didn't know until a few hours beforehand whether it was going to happen outside in the courtyard or inside the home (which would have required multiple DJ setups and different equipment).
Neal rocked the wedding, with multiple guests coming up to us during and afterwards to say how much they liked the music. I love the fact that Neal uses vinyl, though he was also able to find a couple of special requests though he played through an iPod (I think). Neal also seemed to be having a genuinely good time himself, which was nice to see.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend these guys as they know how to throw a good party and make sure everyone's having a good time. They're also very reasonably priced!

If there is one thing about wedding planning you need to remember, it's to pick really great vendors. Our wedding was such a hit because of the fantastic work of our DJ, Steven. The timeline of our night got a little off but Steven was flexible and when we sped things up a bit, he got the dance floor going SO quickly. Our guests kept talking about how funny it was that as soon as the dance floor opened up, everyone descended immediately. He had the perfect songs for dinner and we loved all the dance music he played. The owner of the company, Daryle, was also a pleasure to work with. He answered all of our questions very quickly and we genuinely enjoyed talking to him on the phone. Thanks for a great wedding!

My husband and I are really into music and knew we wanted a DJ for our reception in order to touch on everyone's tastes. To us, music was definitely one of the most important parts of the day. We were referred to DJ D Mac & Assoc by a friend and contacted Daryl who was super organized and really patient with us as we fumbled through the process to figure out who we wanted to work with. We listened to some posted sets and loved DJ M Dot's; we also liked that she has a weekly so would know how to keep the party going. We met with her in person to go over everything - she's smart, calm, friendly, and knew what she was talking about, so we were set. On the day of the wedding, we got sooooooooo many compliments about DJ M Dot - people were on the dance floor the whole night and loved everything she put down! Working with DJ STYLUS was great from the initial interview down to the wedding day. All it took was one interview to know that he was going to be a great fit. Absolutely fantastic! We used Les, one of the DJ's at DJ D-Mac & Associates. She played our wedding reception and was uber responsive and professional. I especially liked that Les requested a list of "must play" and "do not play" songs in advance of our event. This allowed us to hear all of our mandatory songs and prevented any of our "no" songs from playing. I appreciated both Daryle and Les' responsiveness in the weeks and days leading up to our event. Daryle kept everything organized for us in Basecamp, which allowed us to to easily track communication. Les pro-actively reached out to confirm dates/times/venue logistics, etc. She worked with our planner and on-site point of contact to confirm her arrival time and allowed several hours for set up and testing. 5 stars all around!

DJ Stylus was patient, accommodating and super knowledgeable! We really enjoyed meeting him and discussing the wedding and our style. Music is really important to my husband and I so we picked a broad range of songs for ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. He knew exactly what we were imagining to set the mood so he added his own mixes and gave us the best song suggestions. It was a blast planning with him through their Basecamp project tool, which is super easy and efficient. Planning for wedding music with DJ Stylus is a memory we'll never forget, and I haven't even mentioned the 15-20 minute montage to Jay-Z that he mixed for us, our guests went wild ;)

KC did such an amazing job!! Out of everything involved with planning my wedding, the music was pretty high on the anxiety-causing list - I can be pretty picky about it and was worried about having songs that were too cheesy, too "party-like", too weird for the group, etc.... take it from me that you do NOT need to worry about it if you use KC as your DJ! He chose such a great mix of songs based on the suggestions I gave and I got great feedback from both the young and older crowds. Everyone was happy and found something they were happy to dance along with.

I had a deviation from the schedule and he was so flexible that it felt like nothing had even changed from the plan. He says just the right amount to keep things flowing smoothly, while also not being the center of attention for the event. He's a really nice person who you feel like is there to help you any way he can and just be part of the fun.

For the planning, he provides a spreadsheet that is super helpful for planning out the timing and where you can put all your "must have" songs and other things like wording for announcements, etc. It is a great tool. He is also very responsive to messages and phone calls.

With all that said, I would definitely recommend you book with him for care-free planning and a great party! Thanks for making our night so fun, KC!

Highly recommend DJ D-Mac and Associates! We used DJ Stereo Faith for DJ services (and lighting) during both the ceremony and reception. While we had some mic issues during the ceremony (which was probably due to high winds anyway) the rest of the wedding went off without a hitch and everyone complimented us on the dance music. DJ Stereo Faith was very helpful in guiding us and making suggestions without being pushy, cheesy or too intense, but also taking the time to ask thoughtful questions and go over everything. Definitely recommend and the lighting really added a lot to the dinner and the dance floor!

We contacted DJ D-Mac because of a wedding I had previously attended and was impressed by the music. Daryle was great and easy to work with and was super responsive with communication. We spoke with Daryle over the phone and after discussing our needs he suggested Les Talusan aka The Pinstriped Rebel. Les did an amazing job DJing our wedding! She is very friendly, very easy to work with, and super responsive with communication. We met in person so she could get a sense of our musical taste, and she also gave great suggestions, not only from a music perspective but also the flow for the evening. After meeting her in person we knew she was the perfect fit for us. During our ceremony our officiant was running a bit late and she was able to improvise and add in a couple of extra songs that fit in perfectly with our selection to stall, and the guests were none the wiser. During the reception there wasn't a moment when people weren't dancing, she played all our favorites as well as some great songs we hadn't even thought of. Everyone kept talking about how awesome she was. Maybe we are being biased because it was our wedding, but of all the weddings we've been to she was by far the most talented DJ. Les also seemed to be having just as much fun DJing as our guests had dancing. Our only regret is that we wish the wedding was longer so we could've danced more! If you want to have the best time at your wedding we highly recommend Les!

We chose DJ D-Mac & Associates based on the reviews from WeddingWire.com. We worked with DJ Stylus for our event and it was truly a fantastic experience. We didn't have a playlist and only had a few requests for songs that we wanted played. We put our trust in DJ Stylus to come up with a playlist based on the crowd and flow of the event and he was the absolute perfect fit for our wedding. Everyone had such a great time and danced throughout the entire event. He even had our parents and 90 year old grandfather dancing! DJ Stylus was so friendly, professional and simply great to work with. The music selection was spot on with a excellent mix of current and old school classics, from hip-hop to pop to Frank Sinatra. Wow. What a night. The music was exactly what we wanted (Mix of Motown, Hip Hop, & Pop). My husband(!) and I were on the dance floor after dinner until the very end... but we didn't want it to end. Our DJ, Les aka Pinstriped Rebel, curated the perfect music list for us, and every time people on the dance floor wanted to take a break, they couldn't because the transitions to the songs were seamless, and you just wanted to dance! That's the feeling we wanted every friend and family member to have at our wedding. Our DJ delivered and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

Leading up to the big day, our DJ took every detail as to what we wanted. Our wedding was multicultural (Filipino, Chinese, Vietnamese), so there were some musical preferences we had to consider, which Les noted down. We gave her a list of 50 songs via Spotify that we wanted to play and she used it as a foundation for the night. She was prepared when family members walked up to her with music requests and adapted accordingly without sacrificing our wishes. In addition, Les and her crew provided the lighting and audio equipment for our venue, and we didn't encounter any problems.

When we host another party, we are definitely using the Pinstriped Rebel again. She crushed it, and our only regret was not extending more time at the venue to dance some more!

We used DJ Stylus from DJ DMac & Associates for our wedding at the Hay Adams last Saturday and he was awesome!! The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last! I have never seen anything like it. Everyone raved about the DJ and I even saw my 86 year old grandma tearing up the dance floor. We also used them for uplighting and the room look incredible! To me, music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding and I was determined to find a good DJ that we felt could deliver the type of music and good time that we wanted on our wedding day. This was the perfect DJ company for us! It started out with a call to determine our taste and what we needed and then the owner suggested two DJs from his team that he felt were best suited for us. After reading their bios, we selected DJ Stylus and he was the absolute perfect choice! The company was completely professional and made the whole process incredibly easy. But more importantly, DJ Stylus threw us the PERFECT dance party. One of our friends said "this guy definitely knows his demographic" and another said he was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard. It's easy. DJ Neville C (Neal Becton) DJ'd our wedding in June and killed it. Dude owns a record shop in DC so you're getting the real deal. Spins vinyl, but can go digital if he doesn't have a particular record. Knows how to read a crowd. People danced all night. So many comments on how great the DJ was. And on top of that, the most affordable option of the DJ's we researched by far. And this isn't a "this guy was good but the price really made it worthwhile" review. I was so happy to have The Pinstriped Rebel play at my wedding on July 30th. Les was quick with her communication and lovely to collaborate with during the planning process. On the day of the wedding, Les had our wedding guests dancing from the moment we stepped into the tent until the moment we left. DJ KC was a true professional and got every butt out of their seats and onto that dance floor! He was wonderful to work with from our first meeting to the last song of the night. KC Higgins from DJ D-Mac and Associates recently DJ'd our wedding, and he was phenomenal! To start, planning was organized and simple; they use Google Drive and online systems to organize details, sign contracts, create agendas, and select songs, which made it all easy. We had a couple brief calls with him so he could get a sense of what we were looking for, and also edited our songs (first dance, father-daughter, mother-song) for us so they would be a reasonable length :).

Then, at the event, KC was fantastic. He arrived early, set up, and then came and found us while we were having photos taken so that we could meet in person. The music he played was awesome. With practically every song throughout dinner and the reception, I felt myself thinking, "oh, I love this one!" (despite all the running around and chatting I was doing) -- and it seems like that was the case for our guests as well, because they sure stayed on the dance floor :). Something that I think also facilitated that was that KC transitioned so well from song to song, and didn't necessarily play songs all the way through. I had several people tell me the next day at our brunch that it was one of the best dancing weddings they've been to.

If you are looking for a guaranteed way to keep your wedding guests on the dance floor, go with one of the amazing talents at DJ D-Mac & Associates. My husband and I hired with DJ KC for our wedding cocktail hour and reception music and it was the BEST dance party we have ever attended! We had to move our cake table out of the way because the dance floor was overflowing--guests from ages 2 to 90 were out there dancing! KC was involved in the music selection and paid key attention to the genres we wanted (ex. 90s rap, early 2000s, top hits) to make sure that every song was a crowd-pleaser and he did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

We were SO HAPPY with DJ KC from DJ D-Mac & Associates! He was recommended by a friend who had attended another wedding he DJ'd and we are so grateful he was able to do our wedding as well. The rate is slightly higher than I was originally looking at for a DJ but he was absolutely worth it!

He was helpful in every step of planning, coordinating, and executing all of the details of our reception. He gave us samples for reception time lines and great music suggestions while we were planning and I could not have been happier with how it went on the wedding day. On the wedding day he arrived early to get everything set up well in advance and was very communicative throughout the day making sure everything stayed on schedule without interrupting or rushing anything else that was going on. Everyone I've talked to about the wedding has complimented him, the dance floor was going non stop the whole night with great music for all of the generations present!

My now-husband and I booked DJ KC on a whim after stealing him from one of our friends, who spoke extremely highly of him and booked him for her own wedding. From our initial communications with the owner, we could tell we were in good hands. DJ D-Mac was extremely responsive, helpful, and professional and quickly put us in touch with DJ KC for a call a couple days later. From the first call it was obvious that KC is a gem - very thorough in likes/dislikes, but also extremely helpful with suggestions. He literally set up a google spreadsheet with tabs for "planned", "must play", "would like", "do not play", "cocktail hour" etc - SO organized and helpful, especially as people with admittedly picky music tastes, and he adhered to it perfectly!

Now on the actual wedding day - WOW. All I can say is out of all of my vendors, KC was absolutely my favorite, and we do not take our wedding music lightly! We continue to have compliments about our DJ and the party he created flowing in - I honestly wish I had a dollar for every rave I've heard about him from my friends (including one that is a DJ himself in Colorado). KC stuck to the timeline and was very professional, yet he got our friends to completely light up the dance floor throughout the night! He was also great with utilizing the songs we wanted while weaving in requests from guests, who again, all loved him (including parents!). I have received many "best wedding ever", "I don't even like weddings but I liked your wedding" and "what an amazingly fun wedding" compliments and I honestly think it is all due to KC!

You may wonder whether it's worth it to pay a few extra dollars for DJ D-Mac's lights that bump along with your music. Don't wonder anymore -- it's totally worth it.

DJ D-Mac did the lighting for our wedding on April 9, 2016 at the Carnegie Institution for Science in DC. Daryle (the owner) was very professional throughout booking and planning, and Dylan, the lighting tech on site for our event, was great as well. He kept the lights in sync with the music all night during the dancing. Many of our guests commented on how much it added to the atmosphere, and we loved them too. If you're considering whether or not it's worth it, definitely say yes. You won't regret it.

I used Atticus from DJ D-Mac for my 50th birthday party, not my wedding, but he would be wonderful for a wedding as well.

His prices were very competitive with other DJs in the area (actually a little better than average), and working with him and the owner was easy. The website they set up for uploading songs, and steps that needed to be accomplished prior to the event made it very user friendly, and they always responded immediately to any question I posted. At first I got alarmed when they said I could upload Spotify lists and song files (I am not tech savvy) but they were fine with my list of songs in a word file that I wanted to hear, divided by dance ones vs. ones to be played during the cocktail and dinner hour. Alternatively they said I could just give them a few songs and they would build a playlist around that. Very flexible. We did a check-in call a few days before the event, everything was set.

At the event, he got there early, was totally set up by the time I arrived. During the cocktail and dinner hour, the music was perfect in the background, not too loud, but a good variety that fit the mood of the event, uplifting and fun. Several people made requests which he gladly added in. And then we got down to the dance party which rocked! Atticus did a perfect job of blending songs to keep everyone dancing until midnight (crowd could have kept going to dawn but the restaurant had to close). Each song resulted in people yelling "I love this one!" and jumping up to dance. There was no dead time or bad songs chosen that would result in the crowd leaving the dance floor.

The only bad part was since the songs were so good and flowed so well, I never sat down and my legs hurt the next day (I did turn 50 after all). Highly recommend Atticus and the folks at DJ D-Mac and Associates for your event. Will be at the top of my list for my next party. Several of my guests asked me for his contact info for future events.

From the moment we expressed interest, the group was professional, responsive, communicative, and fun.
Rhome Anderson was a pleasure to work with. He made smart suggestions, listened to us, and brought that fire when it was time to party. We had a brunch reception and he still managed to get the crowd turnt.

KC was a wonderful DJ at my daughter's wedding. The event took place during the January blizzard and he went out of his way to make the reception the success that it was. He delivered all of his equipment on Friday, the day before the wedding, and somehow got to the venue during the storm on Saturday. He was sensitive to the musical tastes of the multinational guests and there were many smiling faces as he switched up the music selections frequently. We would highly recommend KC for any event.
Our sincere thanks to him for being there for our daughter in very difficult weather conditions.

DJ D-Mac (Daryle) is the consummate professional and made our wedding celebration amazing! Not only was he incredibly easy to contact and thorough during the planning for the wedding, but he was exceptionally prepared and arrived early the day of the ceremony.
Additionally, Daryle followed all of our requests perfectly while also seamlessly transitioning between the diverse genres. Our guests were sorry to leave at the end of the night as everyone thoroughly enjoyed dancing to his DJ talents.
I am still surprised with how reasonable his rates are given how good he is and the many laudatory reviews he has received.

We booked Les a.k.a. The Pinstripe Rebel through DJ D-Mac's service. We couldn't have been happier. Excellent communication was followed up by a stellar performance. I'm not a wedding diva but we had a clear direction for music. Les killed it. We wanted a pretty diverse mix and she accommodated it and added her own touch. She was super organized and extremely professional, but also tons of fun. Her excellent music taste is nicely complimented by her personal style. Les has fun behind her turn tables and it keeps the vibe really energized. She added tons of value by helping us coordinate the placement of equipment, schedule, shout-outs, and lighting. Everything ran incredibly smoothly. I didn't have to think of anything. She was delightful to deal with. The music selection was superb. She played everything we wanted to hear (even the exact versions of some hard to find songs) and added her own selection of songs that kept the dance floor alive. The transitions were smooth and her shout-outs were perfectly delivered. Her album collection is exciting and she read the room perfectly. I would highly recommend her services. You will not be disappointed. DJ D-Mac & Associates have a real superstar with Les a.k.a. The Pinstripe Rebel. We're going to have to have a 5 year anniversary party to get her back behind the tables!

DJ D-Mac was AWESOME. Good music was a top priority for us, and he far exceeded our expectations. It's really hard to evaluate a DJ based on a conversation, but Daryle (DJ D-Mac himself) took time to meet with us in person, before we had a contract, to get a sense of our personalities and what we were looking for, and seemed to immediately grasp what we hoped to achieve for our multicultural wedding. He provided music for the baraat, Indian ceremony, snack break, American ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and uplighting for the reception -- all at a very reasonable price point.

The sound quality/volume was excellent -- it was never too loud anywhere, no yelling over music to talk to guests. He also timed all of the music perfectly, especially for the two ceremonies. Most importantly, the reception music kept our dance floor packed all night long, with guests of all ages (even on a Sunday)! The songs flowed perfectly from one to the next (Daryle clearly put a lot of thought into prepping our playlist for this), and were a perfect balance of classic and current Indian/Bollywood and American songs. There was also no cheesy "wedding DJ" stuff -- he was the consummate professional, and let his music do all the talking. The uplighting was also exactly what we envisioned, making the room warm and welcoming.

Quite a few guests complimented us on our DJ, telling us he was the best they'd ever heard. We couldn't agree more, and would strongly recommend him to others.

We had Les "The Pinstriped Rebel" DJ our wedding. We were SO lucky to have found DJ D-Mac and Les!! The music was an absolute highlight of our entire day. From our first meeting with Les, we were convinced we were in good hands. My husband and I both have pretty different tastes in music, so I'm sure we sounded like crazy people going over what we wanted our wedding to sound and feel like, but Les kept us calm and made us feel confident she could pull off a seamless dance party. We wanted our wedding to feel like an awesome fun night for all generations there, and with all the praise we've gotten since, I am so happy we found Les.

Her style felt classic and retro, and we really loved her vinyl. The microphone we used at the reception was the Elvis Mike and it added a special feeling to the whole evening.

Important note: I felt really strongly I did NOT want a cheesy wedding DJ announcing each portion of the evening. Les was happy to sit back and focus on doing what she does best; music (although she would NOT have been cheesy!) Instead, my dad's best friend MC'ed the evening for us, and it ended up being a heartfelt and marvelous way to host the evening. THANK YOU LES and DARYLE for everything!!!

We used DJ D Mac and Associated for our wedding and Marc in particular was amazing. He took everything we said into consideration and kept the dance floor packed all night. We chose them because we did not want the typical "wedding DJ" and don't particularly like pop music so they seemed to fit the bill. Marc was prompt, professional and such a breeze to work with. He even got all our last minute requests in that we sent him the night before which really was great. And he was very gracious and professional when my Dad tried to trick him into playing a rock song for our Father-Daughter dance. He handled everything flawlessly and we had many comments from guests that our wedding was the best and most fun wedding that they had been to!

DJ D-Mac and Associates provided both the sound system for our outdoor wedding ceremony and DJing for our reception. Both turned out perfectly! Despite having to pay for two separate sound systems, since one was outdoor and the other indoor, their overall price remained competitive.

Our consultation was held with owner Daryle/DJ D-Mac, who told me about his company and their services, and then asked about us and our wedding. After learning about our musical tastes and what we were looking for in a wedding DJ, he recommended his associate Les Talusan/The Pinstriped Rebel to DJ our reception. We arranged a follow-up call with Les and immediately felt really comfortable with her. We were looking for a real DJ, not a "wedding DJ" that makes cheesy announcements and awkward commentary, and plays predictable music, and Les seemed like exactly the DJ we were looking for.

The company uses Basecamp to manage their events, so we uploaded our lists of "must plays" and "do not plays" and the songs for our special dances to the system. The only thing I didn't like was having to communicate with Daryle and Les through Basecamp - it added a few extra steps to the process instead of quickly sending an email. However, communicating through Basecamp keeps all communication and wedding information in one place and I get why they use it.

Les was absolutely amazing on our wedding day - we can't say enough great things about her. She arrived early to set up, captured an audio recording of our ceremony, and was relaxed, laid-back, and fun. Every song she played was perfect and it was obvious she understood our musical tastes. She brought turntables with her, which our friends thought was awesome (we did too!), and we received so many compliments on both Les and the music. A friend that lives 1,500 miles away even asked Les for her card, in case he ever needs a DJ. We are so glad we found her!!

I would recommend our DJ, KC, in a heartbeat. He was fantastic. We received tons of complements from our guests about how he was the best DJ they had heard. In addition, KC was an absolute pleasure to work with. He played everything we requested, including finding the perfect 1 minute clip of the Ohio State marching band fight song that we used to introduce my parents at the reception. KC has such a positive attitude and it reflected in his work. We also used the sound system for our outdoor ceremony. The sound was perfect.

The music was by far the most important aspect of our wedding and DJ Rusty B from DJ D-Mac and Associates blew it away. We couldn't be happier. Our goal for the wedding was to have everyone on the dance floor, tearing it up, for the entire night and that's exactly what Rusty helped us do. From the beginning of the ceremony to the last song - he knew exactly what we wanted to hear and exactly what to play to keep everyone happy and dancing. He was fun and helpful on the mic during introductions and transitions while still letting the music do the talking for the evening. My husband and I had a very specific list of songs we wanted played throughout the ceremony and reception and Rusty delivered beautifully while also adding his own flow to the mix that we loved!! Communication with DJ D-Mac and Rusty was always clear and efficient and their prices are extremely affordable. We wanted the music to be the highlight of our wedding and Rusty made that happen! DJ D Mac made our reception spectacular. We knew from the beginning that we didn't want a typical DJ but someone who could read the crowd's subconscious--know what song to play and when to play it. We didn't want line dancing songs, we wanted a variety of music but that flowed and transitioned seamlessly. We wanted our guests to feel that they were at a club, not at a cheesy sweet 16 party with a overly talkative DJ narrating the entire event. We wanted something epic... and DJ D Mac made our wedding something that continues to be described as "epic" even days later. The best advice he gave us was that if we wanted to create a buzz on the dance floor was that my husband and I would need to be dancing---he was right and wasn't hard advice to follow. He was open to all songs we suggested, entertained song requests from a few drunken individuals without rudeness, and blended everything together perfectly. He got guests of ours on the dance floor that I didn't think I would ever catch dancing and made it difficult for anyone to want to leave. Every song he played was spot on and he always played the best part of each song, never letting anything get stale. He read our crowd incredibly accurately and even his narration during our reception in getting people in their seats, reminding them what the next thing was to take place... was conveyed in a classy way with a touch of humor. People who didn't really dance that much to those who danced all night have continued to rave about DJ D Mac. Honestly, I loved everything about our wedding but I doubt it ever would have been as incredible if DJ D Mac had not made our dance floor such an electric centerpiece of our event. We loved working with Rhome aka DJ Stylus! From start to finish he demonstrated professionalism, and always worked towards giving us the wedding we imagined. We appreciated the amount of time he spent with us before the ceremony to listen to our hopes for the wedding and to learn our music preferences. Associate DJ Neville C was the absolute perfect fit for our wedding. He did an incredible job choosing songs based on our broad guidelines, and kept the dancefloor going strong under a tent in the middle of an actual HAILSTORM, no joke. When we had a request for a family member to sing along to a Sinatra song, he accommodated our guest without any problems. DJ Neville C and DJ D-Mac as a company were also very easy to work with in terms of communication, payment, and planning and the sound quality was excellent. I cannot recommend DJ D-Mac and Associates, and in particular DJ Neville C highly enough!

We hired DJ D-Mac & Associates for our wedding in June and they were absolutely awesome! The cocktail hour and reception were in the same location and he kept the party going throughout! Our friends and family love to dance, so finding a great DJ was a really important part of our wedding planning. We couldn't have made a better choice with Marc of DJ D-Mac. During the planning, he was extremely helpful and prompt, and on the day of, he made the sound work perfectly in a venue that was less than ideal for a DJ setup.

But, most importantly: the dance. party. was. AMAZING. My husband and I didn't leave the dance floor all night, and so many of our friends and family told us how amazing the dance party was, and that ours was the best wedding they'd ever been to. I didn't necessarily go into the wedding expecting to feel this way, but that night was legitimately the best of my life because dancing with all of my friends and family was just absolutely the best. Writing this makes me wish I could go back to that night right now!

DJ Jayclue was masterful. He read the crowd well and played the songs we wanted played at our wedding. We were also impressed with his attention to details (speakers needed, venue restrictions, etc...). Best of all, he stayed in constant contact with us!

He's awesome., not your nightmare disk jockey. He helped us plan through our wedding and the music we wanted played at each point. And he was able to get everyone up and dancing (which I thought for sure would never happen)! He's professional and prepared. No way you could go wrong!

Daryle of DJ DMac associates was absolutely incredible. He provided dj and lighting for my wedding, and what he created for my event was pure genius. He mixed the most amazing play set for the whole reception and no one sat down ever! We had so many desserts left over! He asked me for a list of absolute most plays and he was able to play then with other hits to cater to all ears. He also worked the lights during the dancing for added effect, and used my wedding color on the walls in the reception. I have never had so much fun at a wedding ever, and I am so happy that it was my own! If you want an event that everyone will be talking about way after your wedding day, trust me, this guy is it!! Daryle you are the best!

DJ Neville-C made our NYE wedding an absolute blast. We decided early on that music would be the most crucial aspect of our reception because it would be New Year's Eve and dancing would dominate our reception given that we did not have a seated dinner. Right off the bat we had great communication with DJ D-Mac. We told him that Neville C had come highly recommended by a friend and he hooked us up right away. We met with Neville-C at his very cool record store in DC, and right away knew he'd be a good choice. Throughout the planning process D-Mac and Neville-C were very responsive to our questions and ideas, and gave us the opportunity to provide a must play and don't play list of songs. Neville-C took all of that to heart and really killed it DJing our wedding. Everyone had a blast, the dance floor was always packed, and he played all the right songs for every moment. He really felt the vibe throughout the night and played to it. The only glitch throughout the entire process was that we were not informed until rather late the night before the wedding of equipment needs, which did not match up with equipment needs in the contract we signed. It turned out not to be a problem though because our amazing coordinator, Tyler Fitzhugh of Voila Events managed some last minute magic. I don't even know how, but Neville-C ended up with the tables he needed and even if he did not, I never knew it! Everything turned out more perfect than I could have imagined. Thank you!!

DJ Meistro (Marc Messener) was absolutely outstanding! Our guests raved about the music selections and requested our playlist. I'll be honest, we only gave our DJ like 5-8 songs to play and told him a general vibe of what we were hoping for. And he got it right on point. Which was a relief that it was just one less thing we needed to worry about for creating a fantastic wedding. From the very first song to the last song our dance floor was packed. We had a wide range of ages invited. From kids, to our age, parents, to elderly. And EVERYONE was on that dance floor. There wasn't a lull the entire night. I was surprised because I've never been to a wedding before that was hat energetic. The music he played was perfect. Our DJ was professional and prompt the day of the wedding and all the phone calls leading up to it.

We also worked with this company for lighting and they provided the service for us at an unbeatable price. So happy to work with them.

Easy to work with and good prices. Played all the songs that I had on the song list I developed. The transition of the songs were awesome and the order that they were played at the wedding worked perfectly. We had a blast!!

DJ Mac was a wonderful addition our charity event. The music got the crowd going, and the lighting really made the venue look great! He was is easy to work with, and dependable.

We had a phenomenal experience with Jayclue! He was very professional, played everything we asked for and kept the vibe we wanted. He was flexible with our requests beforehand and even obliged at the wedding when my aunt spontaneously requested an obscure song that was on her phone. All of our guests had a blast and the dance floor was packed the whole time!

The only uneasiness we had was 2 months prior to the wedding when our original DJ through DJ D-Mac & Assoc. canceled and we had to go through the process of establishing a new relationship. However, through it we learned that DJ D-Mac & Assoc. is very professionally managed and all turned out better than we ever could have hoped for. From the bottom of our hearts: Thank you Jayclue! You really made our night incredible!

DJ Mac and associates, and specifically DJ KC made our wedding, "the best wedding we have ever been to," according to many of our friends and family. Their promptness and professionalism made the music planning a breeze. KC knew exactly what we wanted to hear since his planning was so thorough (he sent us an excel spread sheet with 4000 songs, and we marked like on the the songs we liked and don't play on the songs we hate so that he got an idea of what we like. At the wedding, he nailed it). His preparation was incredibly impressive.

Hands down best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding. Two of my friends have already hired DJ Mac and Associates to DJ their wedding.

We had a great experience working with Dmac And Associates for our wedding. We didn't have any technical troubles with any equipment, and the sound system sounded great. Our DJ Rusty B did a great job of incorporating all the songs we wanted to play, and filled in the time between those songs with perfect choices that made it the best dance floor I've seen at a wedding. I also like the functionality of their "basecamp" feature, which helps you keep track of important dates and deliverables. All in all we were complete happy with our service from Dmac and Associates.

We were extremely happy with DJ Rusty B and the whole DJ D-Mac and Associates experience. Rusty took our massive list of possible songs and turned into a perfect dance set. The dance floor was filled from the time the music came on to the end of the night, which was exactly what we hoped for. He was responsive to all our requests before and during the reception and his music cues during the ceremony were all perfectly on point. It could not have been a better experience and we would certainly recommend Rusty and DJ D-Mac and Associates as a whole to anyone whose looking for a great dj experience for their wedding or party.
